there isn't too much more to try unfortunately, just restarting everything and having other people try hosting. it may be someone's internet or just a weird glitch. actually you could try deleting startup prefs too, it couldn't hurt

Hi, my friends and I are having issues with multiplayer co-op. We have all tried multiple times restarting steam, Stardew Valley, our pc and yet we still can not play multi-player together. We have even uninstalled and downloaded the legacy version and the normal game multiple times, yet no luck. We made sure that no firewall was blocking the game and we all bought the game directly from steam. When one of us hosts, there is no option to change the multi-player server mode to online. We are able to invite each other via invite code or join each other through steam but we keep getting an connection failed error code. I then tried opening the game through the game files in the game directory at the same time I already had a game opened through steam. I would then close the first game (the one opened through steam) and play the game opened through the game directory. When I do this, I have the option to change the multi-player server to online, but then there is no way for me to invite anyone as there is no friends only mode or invite only mode. Is there any way to fix this as I would love to play multi-player with my friends.

I'm having issues to open my game, it's taking way too long to open/load and when it does, the game is laggy af to the point I can't even open my save file without waiting a lot of time (only for the game to crash). Already tried reinstalling & uninstalling SMAPI, reinstalled the game as well. I don't think the issue is with Steam cuz other games r working fine, does anyone have any other suggestion?

I'm on the last day of the season and am ready to finish the 'Crop Order' Quest by Lewis. However, there seems to be some kind of bug/not sure where I can't open the shipping bin/box in the museum. Left-clicking and Right-clicking doesn't do anything. I haven't restarted the day yet. Just wondering if there are more efficient ways to solve it. Thank you in advance!

I've no idea tbh, after a quick google it looks like that's a thing you can use if you have no gpu? The 1.5.5 update changed the game to 64bit, and needs either a dedicated gpu or semi-recent cpu with an integrated gpu

I'm on the beach farm and suddenly things that are kept outside on my farm have started disappearing - two furnaces, two lightening rods, and a workbench, all at different times. I'm playing PC vanilla and Leo was designated for a gift this winter star, year 3, and he's not in the valley. I don't see him at the festival. I dug around on this, apparently it was a known issue, but I see footnote in the wiki saying this issue was resolved in a prior patch. I am running the most up to date version of the game. I ran through setting up an SVE mod setup, pretty typical. I was super lost until I stumbled upon the compatibility checker and found out I needed to use some unofficial versions of 2-3 library mods and suddenly all my red unable to load errors disappeared from my log window! HURRAY. But now I get to the end of the loading process where the log window shows something along the lines of "mods loaded and ready" and.... nothing happens. The game never launches but I see no obvious errors

It seems like StardewModdingAPI.exe runs and is loading everything fine, but StardewValley.exe never actually boots during the initial "waiting for game to launch" portion...

And tbh there isn't much that can be done besides continuing to provide the legacy version for cases such as this, with an update such as the 64 bit the requirements for the game really went up and there ya go

Not really a problem, just a lack of experience with "gaming" PCs. My birthday gift was a new system with 4x the RAM of old pc, a 3060Ti and a both a SSD & SATA HDD.

Can I move my Stardew save file? and if so, is there a preferred process?
