I considered rolling back but I wanted to make sure that the alternative is losing the reward entirely because otherwise I can just go there again. Rolling back would also mean losing all the other items I got from the trip (e.g. iridium, prismatic shard, etc.), right?

Go to Load/New/etc.
Unmute
It will still be playing the main menu music. This would make the game a tad better if patched.

I can't seem to screenshot using F12 on Steam. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled SDV, reformatting PC, even using a laptop right now. Anyone have a fix for this? It started when 1.5 was released. Other games are able to use F12, all except SDV won't work.

Hello, I'm having problems with the Switch version, trying to use local multiplayer, server does not appear on the list. We tried creating a new save and it works with it, so it seems like some kind of problem with old saves, we're not sure. Current game version on two consoles (Switch Lite) is 1.5.4.2.

Open the save with online multiplayer.
Save the game.
Open local multiplayer.
Try to search the game (I could not find the server).

Tom Coxon actually did the multiplayer code in 1.3, Podunk joined on for 1.4 and later. There have been a few different people that have worked on development over the years. You can always check https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Stardew_Valley#Development for more details and check the in-game credits for a full list of contributors.

It really depends what you're asking though, because it's both true that Stardew was created by one person and that it's currently developed by two people and that several different people have worked on it over the years.

Well, it's a known bug

You can possibly edit your save to try and fix it but we no longer recommend doing that due to how easy it is to corrupt your save

My friend found a very game-breaking bug in stardew. So it's his first time playing the game and we planted strawberries. He was able to pick up fully grown strawberries the same day he plant them. Then he was able to pick up the plant every single day. A couple of in-game days later he sold like 5 fish but the game thought he sold 99. The same thing happened to the strawberries. The final incident is when he buys something at peirres we get 100 million gold. This is the first time I've encountered something like this and I have hundreds of hours on your game.Then we made a new save file and the same thing happened to him again. Thank you for your dedication to making the stardew the wonderful game it is.

I'm 2yrs into the game, couple days into winter.
My game displays the usual "Loading..." at the bottom left for a couple seconds and then crashes. I tried creating a new world, I was successful but the game crashed approximately 30secs after. I'm sad and I'd really like to resume my game.

Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

I am playing on a multiplayer world and both me and player 2 are married to different NPCs. I reached 8 hearts with player 2's spouse but I recently noticed that my friendship with them has declined to 7 hearts, even though the decay should stop at 8 hearts. Is it an intended feature or a bug?

Actually I can't do anything in the window. It shows the Coop and even the buttons get highlighted, but I can't click.
Do you know what happened?
And, if you cannot help, is there a way to get those buildings anyway with a workaround?

friend of mine wanted me to get some mods for the game but now that i've downloaded them the entire game refuses to even start up. we've tried to solve it but came up empty handed. The top text in the error translates to : Failed to start the process for Stardew Valley

i have no experience whatsoever, so this is az shot in the dark, but try launching with smapi and not the regular game

we both hit the top right log and when the items went to drop the game crashed
