I guess it could be a compatibility issue but i highly doubt it since its running as x86 code through Rosetta 2.

Hey everyone! I've been having some trouble with the achievements, In My most recent save file I've been trying to do as many "help Wanted" quests as possible to get to the 40 needed for the achievement. I got the "10 help wanted done" achievement in-game in my save file under the collections tab, but not on steam for some reason. I've deleted my other save files early this year but I'm 100% sure I also got the "Legend" (10 Mil Gold total) achievement on another save file, but did not get the steam achievement to match. I searched a bit and saw a solution regarding deleting everything between "<achievements>" and "</achievements>" to try and force the game to check for the achievements again, even doing one or two help wanted deliveries to try and get the 10 deliveries achievement to pop up, but nothing...SOS?! pretty please?

make sure to press shift + tab to open the steam overlay when you launch stardew valley, if it doesn't open it means the steam overlay isnt running and you won't get achievments

its just life that with stardew you gotta open it a couple times to get the overlay to run, you might get it opening more consistent if you make sure to paste the location of stardewvalley.exe into the launch properties

Well, in the shortest way I can explain it, each year of C++ adds new things/stops use of old things. So in order to keep compatibility they just keep the old versions installed on windows and that way stuff can't break (at least how I understand it) So that would mean 2013 has stuff that 2015 might not necessarily have

I'm having a weird very minor issue that I'm not sure is because of mods or not, or if I just never noticed it before. When I use the scroll wheel, it makes that weird "swish" sound effect whenever I change directions. Like, when you flip pages in a letter

Hey guys, I have a problem that I can’t seemed to be solved:
I can run the 1.5.5 beta fine, but once I add SMAPI to it, my games gets capped at 40FPS

1.5.5 W/SMAPI no mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/SMAPI mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/O SMAPI: 60FPS

All of my drivers are updated, and I have not downloaded anything that would cause this; I used to run Stardew fine with SMAPI on all the previous updates but this one

So, after finishing the morning cutscene after Penny's 14 heart event, my current Mahogany Dresser, which had clothes and rings inside, came up empty. I checked the one Penny puts in the room as well, and it came up empty. I moved the dresser out of the room for the duration of the time per her request, and this still happened. I unfortunately don't have any before-after pictures of this, because I didn't think to photograph it at the time and I didn't notice until 2 days after the final event, but is this a known bug?

Oh, and if it's needed, this was specifically on the console version, Xbox.

Hi! So a few days ago I was playing stardew valley using steam big picture mode and used a controller. But now when I try to play using my keyboard and mouse, alot of the things aren't going to back to what it used to be. I think I figured it out after some more Google searching. The file libSDL2.dylib needed to be updated. I found an updated file and replaced it, and now I can unplug the controller just fine and plug it back in to continue playing!

Starting today I’m experiencing farming glitches on Switch. I’m not able to place any sprinklers. My character performs the action of placing an item but I’m not able to actually place one. It just stays in inventory. I’ve tried different types of sprinklers both on the farm and island. I made sure I had the latest console update and power cycled. Not sure what else to do. I’m in year 5.

Oh also placing seeds has been spotty. Normally I can hold the action button and just walk in a line over the area to place seeds but instead, I get a strange glitchy animation and only half the seeds or so plant.

Hi there! I ran into an issue with my multiplayer save file last night where it loaded us in two play sessions back in the game. We researched the wiki and tried all the save recovery methods. We just updated some mods the day before, but everything updated smoothly from what we could see. Went to stream last night and we lost about the entirety of our fall season in game. We updated SMAPI, JSON, Fishing Made Easy, Content Patcher, Generic Mod Config, UI Info Suite, PyTK and SpaceCore. Is this a common problem or possibility with these mods?
