Just to backtrack and confirm some of your other steps, you mentioned reinstalling the whole game -- did you also delete the game files manually and then use the verify files button on Steam?

That's okay, sorry if anything is unclear! I'm not very familiar with the Android version, so I'm not sure how the version you had originally was installed. Maybe if you explore using your files app, there is a folder you can remove? (Just make sure not to delete your saves... 😅 )

(There's a chance someone more familiar with Android might be able to add more detail, but unfortunately the situation is not very standard since you're trying to move from a pirated version to an official version, and they are unlikely to know where exactly it was, either. Still, they might be able to give general advice.

In case someone like that should look here: they posted a problem they were having with their game last month, but they had not purchased the game. They say they have now, but if that's the case I'm not sure how best to make sure the old one is definitely gone?)

Well, i play on the switch and recently unlocked the ginger island.. I put a chest beside where the teletransportation totem left you in the island and.. The chest dissappeared. In the chest i left the diary pages and the photo that Birdy gave for the mission. Is it a bug? Or i can't do the quest anymore?

good evening everyone, so I use my save file from mobile on my steam version of the game. Everything works but the steam achievement does not unlock correspondingly to the the achievement i have in game. Is there anyway I can fix it?

Basically, I managed to go to windowed screen which shows the entire window but the mouse scrolls outside of the windowed screen to be able to click on the settings button if that makes sense.

When I click on the settings button in the most awkward way, it just freezes.

How inconvenient this is. Seems like I'm not the only one whose had this issue.

It could easily be your computers resolution, try making it something like 1920x1080 if it works, it's probably your resolution

im having this bug, when you go into the fishing minigame and minimize the game, it bugs out and you cant move the bar, then after you catch the fish and you move sideways, your stuck in a weird position where your not holding the rod but your stuck in the animation, it fixes itself after a couple seconds. gog is a plattform like steam, but from the maker of the Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. They host the SV-Multiplayer and offer games without copy protection. In other words: Normally I can copy every game to another PC and play it there without logging into gog and everything should work.

hello dearies~ could someone help grandma? I'm a little confused! soooooo i was hosting a multiplayer server using my main pc and main steam account (using the host character "granny" as an npc.) but I wanted to free up my main stuff so I transferred the save files and mods between my main newer pc+main steam and my old one with my second steam account.
and i thought this worked because i booted the server up on the older pc with the second account and it let me host me server as granny!
ive ran it for a couple days like this until i went to log in as my playable character in my server on my main pc and main steam and instead of Ginny my playable character its only pulling up Granny the host (after transferring the files, i dont think i made a mistake with switching the files..)
do i just need to edit something in the save file on my main pc (which is the file from the old pc i was playing on) to switch the steam accounts associated with ginny my playable?

Hey y'all. I recently installed Ubuntu Linux on the desktop in my office. Trying to get Stardew Expanded on it. I've previously successfully installed it on Windows/my laptop. Got my mods all ready. Trying to install SMAPI. Have installed Mono. Installed all the packages from the Mono website, including mono-complete. Every time I click on the Linux installer in the SMAPI folder, it gives me the "Oops! Looks like Mono isn't installed. Please install Mono from https://mono-project.com, reboot, and run this installer again." I've rebooted and it still isn't working. Thoughts?

Hello again, my problem is stuttering, a few days ago I noticed some annoying stuttering in my saves, at first i believed it to be mods i had installed, but after reinstalling SMAPI, uninstalling it completely and running the game on 32-bit mode I noticed that the stuttering only occurs on the 64-bit version of the game.
I did try disabling all my overlays, including steam and GeForce. I did try setting the priority in the Task Manager to high - nothing yielded any noticeable result, so I would be thankful for any help I can get.

It bugs out when switching to full-screen, so I use borderless. Also, i believe this is important info i forgot to mention here - the GeForce Experience showed that I had 60FPS even when I was experiencing stuttering

I have to say that theres a translation error in the Portuguese version of Stardew Valley

So... On Linus quest (the one you get on the mail on fall 8th, year 1), he will ask you to help him find his basket

However! On the english version, he says that its blackberry season (which makes sense), but on the portuguese version, he says that its "mirtilo" season... Mirtilo means blueberry (a summer crop), the right one should be amoras

Again, when you find the basket, the name of the basket is "cesta de cerejas" which again doesnt make sense because cerejas means cherries (which is a spring crop), so the right name should be "cesta de amoras"

looks like you did uninstall mods incorrectly, put them back in, launch the game, exit it, remove the mods ONLY, keep SMAPI and the mods that come bundled with it. launch the game again, sleep for a day so smapi can remove the NPCs properly

So, my friend and I played on the Wilderness Farm for the first time. Two strange things happened and I am not sure if it is a bug or not. He said he turned off all of his mods but I found the blue ancient doll at the bus stop twice on day 1 and 2, and there was a "Barrel" item placed in front of Robin's house and the description was just "..." it looked like a darker version of the cask (I think it was darker) Also, I looked on the wiki and I couldn't find a post about it so now I don't know if it is a bug or some weird feature of the farm or if my game is haunted or something.

You can try sending your save file (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves#Find_your_save_files) if you want to know if I can play it fine on PC. I think it's overall easier to find help for PC than Android, with tools like SMAPI for logs being more accessible than mobile counterparts, but the same rules about needing a legitimate copy in order to get help apply.

I noticed that the parrot, who says where are the golden nuts, doesn't say anything, even though i don't have the last golden nut. I don't know where the golden nut is, and the parrot doesn't say anything.

I think literally everything is stored in the code, at least the things you affected like heart level biggest catch etc, and the things you can't effect like sprites, mechanics etc are in a different folder

But the biggest catch is another factor to how good your fishing was, and for the legendary fish you can't retry...

Hi all. I need some help. I'm having issue launching the game without extreme stuttering/frame loss.

Currently I have tried the follow:
Fresh Install of the Game.
Ensured Integrated Graphics was disabled.
Repaired Microsoft XNA.
Full reboot of machine.
Setting game to RealTime/High Priority in control panel.
Disabling CPU0 In affinity.
Made sure the game was in Nvidia Control Panel.

For reference, I have no other games that give me issues. I am launching through Steam. I have no mods and am only looking to play the base game. Game is currently stored on my main C: Drive SSD
