Well, depends on your definition of messing it up, technically it's not but I believe the game will also now count you needing to make all of those items

#

Like may not even happen, we have had no confirmation, if it ends up not I'm sure a bug patch would be eventually released, priority bug patches are usually the early on and then most small bugs are fixed in the next big update

There are some bugs in the mobile game, when I get an item the place to put it doesn't turn green as it should, the true square disappears then I have to close the Game and open it again so that my construction goes well

There's a bug in 1.5 for multiplayer PC that prevents you from completing the gem bird puzzle. (or at least I'm not the only one experiencing it according to google) Do we ever see mini-patches and/or has someone found a way to get the puzzle to work? Oh towards the rest of that, there is going to be an update on Windows that will allow 64 bit stardew, some bugs could be fixed in that, but after that I doubt any more bugfixes will happen until/if 1.6

I've taken some notes about the maximum HP you can have with no bonus (not counting the fighter and defender perks) and the results are kinda confusing.

#

1 combat level: 105 HP
2 combat level: 110 HP
3 combat level: 115 HP
4 combat level: 120 HP
5 combat level: 125 HP
6 combat level: 130 HP
7 combat level: 135 HP
8 combat level: 140 HP
9 combat level: 145 HP
10 combat level: 150 HP (if you take all critical attack-related perks, then this might be the maximum HP amount)
Fighter Perk: +15 HP
Defender Perk: +25 HP (should be 40 w/ Fighter, but for some reason according to an in-game test it gives 30, and so 180 HP might be the maximum base quantity of HP rather than 190)

If the goal was to switch who is the host, there is apparently save editing you can do. I found this on reddit and haven't tried it. Definitely make a backup copy of the save though, in case something goes wrong.

Hey! I'm having some problems with my save files. I installed a bunch of mods last night and my save files began to crash when I tried to load them. Since them I removed all the mods and reinstalled the game from Steam, but the problem persists!

Now I start a new game, both in single player and in coop, with no mods installed and I can play it fine. In the next day when I try to load it the game crashes. I tried swapping the save file and it seems to be corrupted and so does the save file_old. Can somebody help me? 😫

We're coming back to the game after not having touched it in a couple months. We're trying to get 3 clients to connect to a game, windows mac and linux. This was working without issue, but now the mac user is not able to see the game. Additionally, the "Join by Invite Code" button is not there

Steam is online, and we can all see each other playing. Mac and Windows are in the same network, linux separate. Any more information I can provide that might be helpful?

Old and new save files behave the same. Linux and Windows as the host both behave the same. There's something messed up with the Mac client 🤔

I'm on the Android 1.4 version
I have the mod "Advanced Save Backup" from nexus
I had last played the morning of Sept.28th.
When I start up the game and click Load, usually it brings up the current farm I'm working on, and a couple of selerate older ones.
Around 1am this morning (sept 29th) when I opened the game and clicked load, my current farm wasn't there at all, just the old ones.

In my phone's file explorer, in the StardewVally folder, the folder for my current farm (farmer name Griffin) was still there, but inside, there wasnt a file called just Griffin_(saveID#), only the Json folder, a save labeled Griffin_(saveID#)SVBAK,
one labeled Griffin(saveID#)_SVEMERG, one labeled just BACKUP_SAVE
(all the above had the date Sept.28 2:20AM) and a file labeled SaveGameInfo(1), which had the date Sept.26th, 4:16AM

Hey, have not had any luck googling this and i like to think of myself as a pretty good troubleshooter.

When creating/joining a multiplayer session, it seems like (from what i can tell at least) your username in the chat log is whatever your steam username was the first time you played stardew online multiplayer. So even though I have changed my steam name several times since then and even cleared the history of previously used steam names, people still see that same steam name from a year or so ago whenever i join a session.

is there anything that can be done about this? is there a file somewhere that stores this name or is it bigger than that?

Yea with save editing you can change the farm type, but idk about "resetting" the farm. That may indeed be a mod thing, depending on what they mean (Reset Terrain Features comes to mind)

Hello, it's been a few days now that my friend can't connect to my game. He gets when connecting "Connection failed".
I tried to invite him via steam and via an invitation code but the problem remains the same.
A reboot of the PC, disabling the firewall does not change anything...
I looked at this post (#vanilla-tech-support message) and we don't have the problems mentioned (only having "connect by lan", not having "show invite code"...)

Yes, the troubleshooting steps on the link has "Undo the last save" usually that fixes it

brynn, have you tried undoing the last save? so moving your save and SaveGameInfo, then renaming the save_old and SaveGameInfo_old files?

then you are probably playing it wrong? i havent come across other reports of this. try taking a video of you doing it and post so people could tell you if youre doing it right and its a bug, or if youre doing it wrong

Also check windows update, it loves to not do the 200 updates it needs to do on computers when it's first installed
