something is wrong with stardew and idk what's going on. the game used to run fine.

i load up the game on steam. start new game (for some reason my old one is gone). i make a character. hit start. sit through the intro (if i try to skip, it just crashes). but even if i sit through the intro, the moment the game tries to save it just crashes. my pc specs are definitely up to par (i'm sure u could run this game on a potato). i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even have tried verifying the game cache. help?

helllo I’m having an issue with saving my game/progressing to the next day. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? Apparently if your stardew is installed on a micro sd card you can possibly pull off your save to fix it, I've not gotten a 100% confirmation on it though

Yo guys, my gf has that freezing bug all the time when we play multiplayer.

So I tried everything, even connected our accounts on both switches to see if it was a switch problem, it is not, if I play with her account on my switch, I have the lags, while I never do on my account.

So after extensive testing to find "what" lags, I found that the lag is "bound" to her nintendo account.

What the hell is going on?

Also, her nitendo account, no matter which switch, is unable to host a game Local Communication, but she can join if I host a new game on local.

She does Not lag when she joins my local communication, so I wanted to host our main save(50hours) on local communication, but it's broken, she hosts local communication and then I just cannot find the game

you could install SMAPI for the save backups, and more detailed crash logs @quaint condor; also, if you go to %appdata%\StardewValley, is there an ErrorLogs folder and if so is there a file in there? that may also be helpful

I run an autofish mod cause I cannot be bothered to care about the fishing mini-game... Well there is a bug that happens sometimes but I have also encountered it without the mod as well. It's the reeling noise being permanently stuck on?

Hello, I'm playing Stardew Valley on the Switch and I'm experiencing the Winter Star Crash bug. When I give a gift to Jas (The person I was chosen to give something to) when the game starts to transition to the part when you get given a gift the game crashes. I've restarted the Switch and updated the software but that doesn't fix the issue. Is there any way I could fix this, I don't want to skip this and I've already sinked 100 hours into this save file. I would really love it with someone knows a solution to this and could share it with us.

In terms of fishing I'd say it's about the same, you just use your mouse click instead of a button, you could also just plug in your controller and use it assuming you have a pro controller

Overall controls I prefer stardew with a controller just so I can sit back and relax, keyboard controls are not bad though

Maybe Dogs could bark for animals to move around. This can activate when the Dog is 25 blocks in range of and animal that isn't in a fence.

Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

Hello, after some audio changes on my PC the game is suddenly running at an extremely low Frame Rate. I've verified other games are running perfectly fine, tried verifying integrity of game cache, reinstalling the game, restarted computer, and even uninstalling/reinstalling steam all to no success.

I also tried installing it on my Sata SSD instead of my NVME drive in case it was the drive some how but that didn't help.

issue isn't my PC, as specs are as follows and again, all my other games are running with 0 issue, it's only Stardew.

PC Specs:
Ryzen 9 3950x
RTX 2070Super
2x16(32GB) of ram @3200Mhz
1TB NVME SSD
2TB Sata SSD

Up to a point your specs won't matter, Stardew is single cored

The usual cause of this is stardew is fighting for thread 0/1 with windows applications or other stuff
