How do secret notes work in multiplayer?

Context: Owner O and me (M) play multiplayer. O has the glass and see notes already. O also played without me. I just got the glass event since I just hopped late in the winter. I found secret notes but they don't go to my inventory, so I can't use them.

SaveGameInfo is the thing that tells the game what information should show up on the load game page, so if it's not right, the save won't show up even if it is there and working

I edited a save and spawned in more houses through adding extra cabins in the save file so we could have more than 4 characters in the multiplayer world. Now the amount of players is below 4, but one of our players houses won't connect to the cellar they purchased. Can anyone tell me how to link one of the location cellars to the farm hands house? Entering the cellar is creating a null error and crashing the game for anyone that enters the unlinked cellar.

The strange thing is that if I first start up a save created by a non beta original version, I can load into that, exit into menu, and start up a new world in both beta versions

So I’m having a problem. The game rolled back my girlfriend’s save to Day 1 of Spring 1, undoing half a year of progress. I had the same issue on my computer, but somehow I fixed it. I followed the Wikia’s guide for how to roll back a save, and it worked. On my girlfriend’s computer tho, I tried to do the same thing and it a) would return any deleted files after refreshing b) would rename deleted files to their old names on reload. I have Cloud sync on Steam turned off as well as OneDrive, so I don’t know why it keeps refreshing these files. On top of that, it won’t let me rename the files in the first place because they’re in a compressed folder, even though I’m almost certain I was able to on my own computer, but when I went back to my computer to do what I thought I did, I ran into the identical problem. So it’s not letting me rename or change saves, which I need to do to fix the save file. So…what do I do?

Once you have them the secret notes emerge quite quickly (like multiple per day in various things you do like mining or cutting grass) and you should get a note that mentions level 100. I tried to fuse my phoenix ring and iridium band at the forge, but when I went to equip it I must've clicked just wrong enough to cause me to drop the newly fused rings into the lava. Sure. Ok so I got the game a few days ago but never got it to actually run. When I press play it says running but that only lasts for about 5-7 seconds before going back to normal. There are no errors popping up anywhere and im using a Windows pc. I bought the game on Steam. So far it says ive been playing for 4 minutes when it never actually let me play. Ive never had this problem with any other game only this one so idk what happened.

Hi, I need to uninstall and reinstall Stardew valley due to unforeseeable issues and I need to know, will it reset the entire Stardew Valley folder from Program Files? And Steam will keep my save files right?

I need it to reset the mentioned folder because of files I can't get back so

I installed an old mod that replaces Content folder files and I didn't back them up. The new files are causing my game to bug and there's no way to uninstall them.

I just need to know if when I reinstall it all that will be gone

Crossplay is not currently possible and may never be possible on Stardew Valley. According to ConcernedApe the technical barriers are very high. And he would like to add it and may eventually look into it but as of now it is not possible.

On PC Stardew Valley uses GOG servers, https://www.gog.com/ More info about GOG here. So if these servers go down, then multiplayer on PC will go down in its entirety on PC. Even if you have the Steam version it still uses GOG servers. A good indication that they are down is if you see a spike on the Down Detector site https://downdetector.com/status/gog-com/

The hardware in the Nintendo Switch is not the greatest. Therefore, Stardew will tend to lag, stutter, freeze, lag in multiplayer, splitscreen, and so on. Not much can be done to fix this, I'm sure there could be some optimizations done to the game, but Stardew is already a light game in terms of games.

Mods with the Switch is technically possible if you have a jailbreakable Switch. However, this is not something that we would directly recommend you do. First off, you'd have to have a certain model number of switch, and then if you jailbreak it you will not be able to play online anymore with it. Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

Hello! im having the problem where when i got smapi and added it to my game my screen is really zoomed in. I removed my mods and its still like that. Im on windows and I got the game through steam. its not just the title screen either. Umm, I'm just wondering. I have a save file on my iPad and when it updated from 1.3 to 1.4 the quests kinda broke. Like I gave Emily an apricot for her quest (non-time based) and it doesn't trigger the completed quest thing. I'd like to be able to fix it as I've had some pretty rare event happen on it like the stone owl event (no stone owl on my farm though and didn't know what it was at the time). I'm not sure much could be done seeing that its iPad but I'm just wondering what to do.
