are you using mods? it's not usually possible to request a fifth cabin/player, and mods are probably the only way to change that

Change the -1 to any number

personal tip, have two instances of Stardew on you computer. I have one Steam version installed for serious gaming and one cracked version on a separate disk that I use to fuck up with mod and code change testing.

i think it's on my machine because I used dependencies to figure out if there was a problem running stardew valley.exe and there wasn't. Then I tried to open microsoft.xnf.framework.graphics.dll which led me to a dll file (oleau32.dll) with missing imports and now I'm trying to download these files

I'd argue against it if you want more than 30fps and it being play able when you fight certain enemies. You also cant transfer save files, and you can easily almost fully crash the game with bombs

upon start, the opening music plays just fine; within my file, however, all bars reset to lowest volume setting (0), and you can turn all of them back up just fine, except that the background music won't play, even after walking to another area of the map to "reset" the music

in another one of my save files, all of the bars are set to default normal settings, except the background music still doesn't work

any ideas? i've verified steam files, scoured through most of the troubleshooting out there, etc etc.

Hello, good morning or good afternoon. I came here to report a bug that I identified while playing. It basically consists of, when you go to the forge for the first time, you find a chest that gives you a prismatic fragment. When you get it, the chest is there, open, but if you break the chest, it disappears. After that, if you leave the forge and come back, the chest will have respawned, and if you open it again, you will have another prismatic fragment. This can be repeated as many times as you like, giving you an infinite number of prismatic fragments.

I had a bug to report. Whenever I use my horse, I tend to run through the fences on my farm. I checked if it was any of my mods and it wasn't, I also backed up my save files onto a folder and uninstalled then reinstalled the game but still had the same issue. I'm not sure what's wrong.

Make sure you are using the right button to remove them, apparently it changes from A to Y
Also, iirc bombs do nothing inside the house 💀

I am a farmhand in a Co-op multiplayer game.
Me and my friend (the host) both play on PC laptops. We have had several farms together. No matter what character I marry after a little while my spouse stands on the path leaving our farm by the bus stop all day and night. He doesn’t return to the house until the morning. My spouse just stands there doing nothing and no dialogue. It’s so frustrating. I’m not sure how to resolve the issue. We play with mods. We both have the same mods. The issue has never happened to any of her spouses though. Does anyone have any idea how I can stop this from happening? Hello, I have run into a problem where I bought a Joja membership and later changed my mind. According to a couple of sources online, you can reverse the membership by deleting a specific line of code in your save file. For some reason, this line of code is not in my save file.

If I install the game, I can launch it, but after I quit or the system kills it, the game crashes everytime I try to launch it. I didn't backup my save files, so I lost them and I'm starting anew, but I would like to continue in the new save 😂
