Help please! Stardew Valley did an update today (July2) for Mac users to be able to play online Co-op multiplayer. I have found it only works when I don’t use SMAPI, but I need to use SMAPI for my mods. Is there a way for Smapi to update to be compatible with the Stardew Valley update so that Mac users can play multiplayer online co-op? I have been waiting so long already. I thought today was finally the day. Does anyone know a way to make this work while using Smapi?

I think you can launch the game vanilla by going into "browse local files" and locating "stardeworiginal.exe". Smapi will be updated soon following this game update

fences decay after they've been out on the farm for a certain amount of time. certain fences last longer than others, but all fences will eventually break unless you have the gold clock on your farm or you're using a mod

I have problem with my game, I suddenly can't play with my PS4 Controller, Its working fine before, but suddenly its stop working when i change my resolution from 4k to 1080p (I suddenly stop using my 4K monitor). When i stop using my monitor, I open the game and the resolution dont change so i have to use ALT+ENTER to change from fullscreen to windows so i can change my in-game resolution to 1080. After doing this, my PS4 Controller stopped working in game, but it still recognizes my game, like (Gamepad is activated, but I cant move with my Controller. Please help me, thank you!

Does anyone know a solutions to screen flickering when playing the game? It happens when moving around, mainly left and right and is fully replicable on SDV vanilla. It occurs in full screen, windowed and borderless, as well as VSYNC on and off. This doesn’t happen in other games.

My monitor is 244hz 1440p, and it isn’t a hardware limitation issue as i have pretty good specs across the board.

There doesn’t seem to be any answers to others who had the same issue on the forum, could anyone help?

Having some multiplayer issue when playing online co-op with my girlfriend. She's on a Macbook Air M1.
Gameplay progresses normally the majority of the time, no issue connecting etc.
Every so often, her game will freeze, rainbow wheel and she's unable to do anything until she quits the game and rejoins, spawning her in bed. She hasn't been able to pinpoint any activity that causes this, and I haven't noticed on my end either.
I won't get the message that she has left the game until she force quits, so it's not a connection issue. Any ideas?

So my boyfriend and I have been playing multiplayer SV. he runs the server and i join in. we only play together, and he never gets on the multiplayer save unless we are both going to play. We wrapped up a session Wednesday night on the 18th of fall and just got on to play today and it started us at the 8th of winter?! somehow, there has been a huge time skip and obviously we lost all crops and animal relationships. hopefully this is the correct place to ask for a solution, if there is one. maybe a way to figure out what happened or to revert to a previous save?

it's our year 1 and we invested like 40k into cranberries so basically all of our gold is gone 😂😭

also, we do not have any mods installed and his computer has been off since wednesday, so really not sure how this could have happened.

You can't fix saves on switch

You can't pull them off, you can't even access them ;P

Unless you want to mod your switch which will make it no longer to play online and you have to have one of a certain amount of switches with a specific serial code or some code

Hello, so me and my friend were trying to play multiplayer on an old farm as well as a new one yet we couldn't connect to the multiplayer game. We are both playing on windows 10 and we've tried to restart the game as well as restarting steam, we've also tried joining through the steam interface ("join game") but we still couldn't connect. I'm having some issues with one singular save file. This one i've been working on for almost a year. I recently got a mod, (ridgeside valley) and i was a day away from marrying an npc. Any time i try to sleep in this save file (its fine in the other ones i have) my game freezes, the screen goes to black and it just crashes.
