Exited the game to see if it would just go back to that morning but then the cutscene that happens on the 1st day of year 3 with the grandpa showed up. Alex has not mentioned anything about me being pregnant so I assume it glitched and I have to wait again. Hope this doesn't affect the chances of him asking again :(

i pressed control + v to paste some typing into a text box and it did this weird thing where it zoomed the game all the way out. as you can see here, i cannot change the resolution without changing to fullscreen mode, which i dont want to do because fullscreen mode bothers me. i don't know how to fix it and get it zoomed back in.

i have already tried going to fullscreen mode, changing the resolution, and then switching back to window mode, but as soon as i switch it back it goes all the way zoomed out again.

hi, I use to steam share with somebody, and when I did we both had access to all of each others' farms from our own games. I don't steam share with them anymore, but I still see their farms on my games list. I don't want to keep them but I'm afraid if I delete them it will delete their farms for them. Greetings.So I had very bizarre bug right now. Me and my friend were playing using share play and this cuteness on ginger island begun to play out,my game just stuck.Animations were playing and stuff was still moving on screen but there were no further dialogue and as such the cut scene wasn't able to end.. My friend was still active though and we tried to wait until 2 AM to see if the game would force me to rest but to no vain. My game also didn't respond to anything and I wasn't able to open menu.

So, I'm having a bit of a weird one in an online MP game I'm hosting on PS4. Fall day 10 year 1, suddenly started crashing. We tried it a few times and it just kept crashing. We were hoping it might have been the day, so we just watered the crops and went to bed to skip the day and... it crashed the next day. Tried deleting Stardew and re-installing it, but nothing. So, update to my issue. I uploaded the save and downloaded it onto my profile on my friend's PS4. We managed to go through a whole day through his PS4 and then re-uploaded the save. i mean im not saying youre lying but i dont udnderstand how restarting would delete your file unless your literally day one and even then i assume it would save after character creation. but if thats the case youmight have some sort of file corruption issue or some shit, which i would say for sure uninstall and reinstall stardew and maybe see if you can figure out the routing, maybe its somehow saving to the wrong place. otherwise it may be an issue with your computer but a new harddrive would be what i assume would be the fix (im no expert) and thats fairly cheap.

So, I think (and I say this hesitantly) that we fixed the issue on PS4. I went through a day solo, no issue. Got my friend to join and, after a bit, crash. He deleted his save data and game and reinstalled the game. And, lo and behold, it seems to have worked. No idea how or why, but it seems to have worked.

yea I was using a few mods normally (and being able to sleep and save the game normally too), and then sometime when I tried to sleep again, the game just shut down, but I didn't delete any mods from my files i just removed that code that you put on steam to run the mods ya know to try to run without the mods, and gave the same result

i also have a second thing i need help with. i had an issue yesterday where a kid joined my world and used a mod so he could scythe any crops, he still plays on the world, so he may be able to fix it. what happened is nothing could be harvested without a scythe, which i dont like and i cant barely do it anyway on a trackpad. even after he left i wasnt able to harvest, he came in and fixed it, i think just by toggling the mod, but the ginger island farm still isnt working, i dont think it needs to be replanted the corn worked without replanting, but it wont work and i dont want to waste 750 seeds replanting it then wait a season to figure out it doesnt work ol. any suggestions? hes tried toggling it on the island as well

yeah, with those mods installed you won't be able to just run regular stardew without mods. since it was crashing with mods installed though, the next time it crashes, get a log and post it in #archived-modded-support for help

it may be that you have to harvest with scythe until all those crops are gone, but you don't have to use trackpad--x and c are bound as interact keys by default, i believe you can use x to scythe easily

his SMAPI log would also really help so we can see what mod exactly is causing the problem

i'm guessing you upgraded your trashcan already? i guess you could drop it all in water, or maybe stick it in a chest, make a new character and use that character to delete the items

also, if you get SMAPI yourself there's a mod called anti cheat server that could stop people like that from using cheat mods when playing with you

or maybe an easier thing to do would be to just not worry about it, delete the items on your character and make the money off them, then go spend it all on casino tokens or fair tokens or something

Hi, my wife and I are trying to play this game on Xbox Series X together over the internet. She hosts an online game and I join it, and I pick a new farmer to create. As soon as it begins to load and shows the load screen with the controller layout, it immediately stops and says "the server has closed the connection". Yep! Some fixes are exclusive to the Mac so sometimes game support can be a bit hard bc of apples weird file systems but it’s really nice

Mods are surprisingly easy, i had 0 issues getting them to work, it’s amazing after trying Minecraft modding with Apple

My mailbox permanently has a letter in it that's either randomly a message from the doctor or from linus for fainting outside / in the mines

it's been like this since the very beginning of the game

friends say the mailbox is supposed to clear after you read the respective message

I also never got the community center cutscene to trigger and the wizard isn't sending me any letters (or I just can't access them) after reading the plaques

so I'm permanently locked out of the wizard hut

I had a similar issue for the adventure's guild

I'm not getting the quest to start so I'm permanently locked out despite having killed a ton of slimes already

no letters for that either

So once your in saves, you should see (character name) followed bu a bunch of numbers, and under that, the same thing but with "old" after

If you right click and press "copy" you can paste a backup of that save on your desktop

Righr click the save thats still in your saves folder, and click open with notepad, do not edit anything in the notepad, if the notepad is blank, then your save is gone, but if there is text, your save is most likely fine

you won't keep your levels in stuff like farming, fishing etc, but if you put your stuff in a chest it should still be there, and it sounds like it might be worth it to restart your character since this sounds super annoying to deal with

just have the other people let you do all the harvesting/picking up forage/etc for a little while, you'll get the levels back haha

So uh, how tf does one fix Dysync in multiplayer? Currently on a multiplayer modded server, never had any problems with this before, but since my friend updated their system [they got a whole new set up] we have had constant desyncs. It would take ages for me to load the save with the invite code to simply get into the 'loading screen' portion of the game, and then it would take no joke, like 10 irl minutes to load the save, when on their old set up, it took nearer like, 4 minutes. And then when it eventually had me 'present in the server' it took a further 3 minutes to let me paly.

Hey guys i'm having a problem with my game. Suddenly when I load up the game the mouse becomes either sensitive or slow/laggy and its making it hard for me to normally play the game. I don't have any mods installed (I did before but removed them all). Did I accidentally touch a setting I wasn't meant to or something? I can still try to play the game like normal but the mouse being sensitive/laggy/slow is just making me go crazy.

what mods did you have installed before? sometimes removing mods and playing vanilla on the same save can cause issues if the mods aren't "cleaned up" by SMAPI

if it's a different save file it shouldn't make a huge difference, if it's the same one you had mods on that could be your problem

the problem could also be geforce now honestly, stardew can only use a small amount of memory because it's a 32 bit game and it may be that combined with geforce now it's just struggling
