The coop refuses to upgrade to a big coop and robin has scammed me twice (gold,wood,stone) thought it was just a visual bug but the first day she was actually building inside and in the second day she went back to her shop (if its any significance it was demetrius bday) and the day after she didn't comeback and the coop is still small, 4th day grinded the materials again and requested the big coop and she didn't go at all

Hi everyone, I'm having Co-Op Connection Errors. When I host a co-op game, the invitation code exists but when my friend enters it, she gets stuck on the connecting page for a couple minutes and then it ends up displaying the connection failed message. We tried many fixes: connecting through steam, connecting as friends (not invitation code), etc. Please help!

I just started playing stardew valley on android and having major slowdown when viewing cutscenes (game runs fine otherwise). An example is it took me 15 minutes to get through meeting willy and getting the fishing pole in a new game (the skip button wasn't working either, but I think that has to do with the lag). My tablet is on Android 9. Any ideas what I could do to fix this?

Hullo! I've been trying for nearly two days to transfer a previous save file from my old phone to my new one. I tried downloading a file explorer and putting the save file into the Stardew Valley folder that pops up when you download the game, but it didn't work. Is it just impossible or am I missing something?

Hi everybody, I play on PC with an xbox controller and can't seem to talk to people while riding my horse even though the internet says I should. Is there a button I'm missing?

you might be able to look into using steam remote play? but she wouldn't be able to have her own character, she'd essentially just be able to "take the controller" for one of your characters if i understand how it works correctly

Where's the best place to suggest changes? Is it the forums? I want to ask Ape if he can make sure spouses water crops that actually need watering (based on sprinklers / fertilizers), esp on the beach farm... I got excited when Leah said she watered crops but I had to water them myself

hi, i have an old save file on my iphone that i wanted to reload, but ive deleted the game. i just reinstalled it and my save file was saved in my icloud the entire time, now i transferred it to the stardew valley folder in 'on my iphone' but the save file doesnt show up when i try to load it in the game

I don't think you could trash them but you could put them in a chest that will get deleted automatically and that might get rid of said item

it means you are offline/dont have internet or you played offline and then reconnected since your cloud and pc now have two different saves just hit play and everything should go back to normal

your save file is missing marigold the dog, so it crashes--if you want to continue playing without mods, you need to launch the game once with SMAPI, play a day and sleep. then SMAPI will clean up the custom stuff from your save

Hey not sure if anyone else has had this problem, it might even be do to some mods I'm running. hi so i'm new to the server and i'm hoping this is the right place to post. i'm having trouble triggering the first 'secret notes' cutscene, (the one where you have to walk from your farm to the bus stop between 6 am and 4 pm during winter to start the quest). this is my second playthrough so i've done this before. the one thing i've done differently was i had access to the sewers during fall year 1, therefore i had access to krobus before the 'secret notes' quest. not sure what i need to do. i'm currently on winter 8 year 1.4

what's the best channel to ask for help with this strange issue i'm having? I'll describe it and try to keep it brief.

I'm running steam through linux on a chromebook. I had it up and running before and got stardew to work perfectly fine, with mods and everything. I had to powerwash my computer to take it out of dev mode though, so i had to go back through the process of reinstalling steam and all the mods. I got most of the mods I had before, but left some minor ones out. Now I'm having a problem where my old save file won't load. The game boots up fine, but when i start loading the save, it crashes SDV back out to the steam screen. I can create a new farm file and that works fine, even after rebooting and loading it again. However, my old one will not work

I'm having a really weird bug with my furnaces. I just crafted five and put them down. Two started auto-smelting without anything put in them (?) and when I put things in the others, they don't produce anything. Help please.

automate will cook all your quartz for example

@woven orbit well if you played a lot already (i guess Vanilla) , then you should start using mods , a lot of them are very good and extend a lot the lifetime of the game.

Hello fellow farmers, I asked Krobus to move out of my house after being pals for a while, but he disappeared from my multiplayer game entirely. Is he hiding somewhere outside of the sewers? I even went to the witch's cabin and asked her to make him forget but he's just vanished. Very unfortunate because I wanna to pal up again along with purchasing his return scepter.

Hello, has anyone had issues with savefile constantly corrupting? I woke up to corrupted file the day before yesterday, managed to fix that, only to find in corrupted yet again. There's also this weird side issue when launching, it reverts to window and when I load a save that works, changing the display type throws me back to main menu. Not even clean install fixed that. (Yes, I'm using mods)

You can enable cloud-save options in steam, which means you'll be able to move between multiple computers/laptops that you're logged into Steam on, and play the same save game, as long as it's been able to connect to the internet to download/upload the save.

you can press shift+tab to open the steam overlay, if it opens it means its working and if nothing happens it means steam background services arent running

can you go into the folder for the farm you were working on? it should be named either the name of your farmer (if you started it pre 1.5) or the name of your farm (if you started it after)

yay! yeah, all that happened was that steam got a little overexcited and renamed your file in a way that made SDV unable to read it

#

you won't have cloud saves now so it won't back up automatically, but if you're worried about having backups, you can either back it up manually by copying it to another location every so often, or install SMAPI (the mod loader for SDV) which comes with a built in save backup function

also, for future reference, if your save really does get corrupted in the future, you can always try renaming those _old files to remove the _old part--that will make SDV load them as if they're your save (as long as you remove or rename the current ones too). this will set you back a day, but can rescue saves that get messed up

nope, not often! it can happen randomly sometimes, it's pretty easy to tell when it does because if you open up the file in notepad++ it'll be full of these black boxes with NUL in them

Well, there's 3 items that you can put in your aquarium along with a fish they're ||stone, seaweed and coral||.
There's also "bottom" creatures that you can add alongside the fish. Like clams and crabs and snails, etc.
