What do you guys think of the /abandon feature?
I think its an OK idea but it still let's you be held hostage by a group of people who got a key they cant do and while you can leave after the timer is up sometimes you know a few pulls in it aint happening.
I do wish they would address trolling people's keys next. Ive only had trolling happen a few times but recently had a boomkin (my fault for inviting him) suicide about 20 times and pull mobs into us to stop us from timing near the end of a key.

Fury is a pretty simple rotation, outlaw has more nuance in terms of when to spend what. Also with that, if you make mistakes they can be very punishing for outlaw

Anyone know if something changed this patch with shadowmeld->stealth? I used to be able to use it quite consistently outside of boss combat as long as I had no dots on me and didn't get hit by anything. But since this patched dropped even in delves or on raid trash between bosses it doesn't work if anyone else is in combat at all.

I’m essentially playing the same way you do. Being ahead of the curve gear wise is crucial and time is the key. There are quite a few pug communities out there, try to join them and take note of what groups/players are good and join them as a prio. Pugging two Mythic bosses is already perfectly doable this tier.

Check in LFG during mornings/evenings on Wedn/Thurs, almost always some groups where the comment says it's a community run raid. But as you say, you are already a bit behind when it comes to gear so someone at 705+ is simply going to get taken for those 10+. Running your own keys are a safe bet, that way you can take those overgeared people instead of being passed on.

Going hard week 1 for ilevel is always the best bet in any pug situation. I'll always invite experience + iLevel. So having done content or similar content and having bigger iLevel is really important.

If you want something truly safe, then go with mage
Rogue is very dependant on class balance, and sometimes you have only 1 spec being good. If you don't like that spec and you're only playing rogue you won't have a good time

Raids are balanced around having 1x each class by default because every class has some unique raidbuff or utility (and numberwise the balancing is never that far off anyway)
m+ is not "rogue in prefered comps", the overall class that is meta in m+ most of the time is mage tbh
but m+ is also m+, that shit changes its "best comps" every 4 weeks cus they decided that a new dmg profile is the most important thing now 
and mindlessly chasing "the best" is a great way to burn out from the game, the differences tend to only really matter at the absolute highest level really

About leveling Leatherworking in Dragonflight: I seem to remember you could make trial chars, go to Valdrakken, get your free sparks, send work orders to the char leveling the profession, delete trial char and repeat. Wastes some resources but gets you to a 100.

I highly recommend if you're new to the game to have some sort of visual reminder for boss timers, You want to eventually train yourself to know when things are about to happen

Depending on how you set it up. For example i have the most recent boss attacks/alerts appearing under my combo points/roll the bones buffs.
Alerts coming later will appear over the details damage meter. Eventually they will move to the most recent section. There are weak auras you can use instead of dbm or big wigs too. If you prefer a different system

Soulbinder is really not a boss that requires comp switches, he's easy

You can buy settings in the AH and add those to each ring.

Rings and neck can be "enchanted" with settings, each setting adding a gem slot, max of 2 per ring/neck

subtlety is strong atm because physical damaeg combos are popular, and at least the current m+ enviroment does allow it to perform well
however, this could very well be a temporary situation, performance goes down when pulls become too longer, diffrent group constellations as well as bugfixes or buffs to other specs.
so if you want to invest your time and always play the best spec w/e, you need to learn both
