You can just glue yourself to the boss and cleave the adds with CT/FoK, we mainly had ranges killing motes so we didn't really need to swap too hard unless you were going in yourself

But if you go in you get to slap full bleeds on the mote downstairs and continue pummeling boss

Shards & Corruption were cool, but the method in which it was acquired was not, Corruption was fixed even if you had to do a bit of tedious grinding for them on alts, as for Shards, it was fine at the end, but not having catch-up was cringe for alts & it was rough since that's what you needed to actually be relevant.

Sentry adds need to get focused down so I typically use my cooldowns on those as they come out. Otherwise, if your raid is really just smashing the aoe you could ST on boss while spreading bleeds on other small targets as well

I've played rogues since classic (took a break outside of completing the campaign in BFA and only played Shadowlands campaign as a priest), recently picked WoW up again and to me, sin rogue just feels the most fun and engaging to play of all 3 specs

From my understanding of Shadowlands and my experience is pretty much nil at this point. Sub is very much a burst window and timing is everything, screw it up and the whole rotation is fucked. Outlaw is... Well, it's outlaw, it's just spamming, sin requires constant focus on what dots are due when, when is the ideal time to refresh, use cd's etc

Again, I mythic cleared in legion, but past that, I gave up and only did campaign on rogue in BFA. But from what I'm seeing, the specs haven't had HUGE changes since legion. Just tweaks

Explanation of snapshotting

Bleeds update their tick rate dynamically, which means that if you get a haste proc (which increases our tick rate) from somewhere during the encounter (ie. Flagellation, Euphoria), the bleeds would automatically tick faster, but the second your haste goes back to normal, the tick rate goes back down as well.

You might need to play around with the class apl as well, just changing the fight behavior is usually not enough to get the result you're looking for

You might end up sending all cooldowns before a damage amp and not holding, you might lust at a bad spot, you might hold even though there's an intermission coming and so on

That being said, all of this can be done in Raidbots as well.

You don't need the local sim for this stuff, and unless you have a beast of a machine, it's generally not recommended either.
