Ambush is currently only used from blindside/sepsis proc, not from stealth.
The reasoning is a little complicated, but the most important of them is the difference in combo points on crit (up to 4 vs 3).
Some other factors to consider are increased poison applications, blindside, and doomblade. This is true for all talent combinations and legendaries.

sims don't tell the whole story, by the time we have the whole renown system unlocked, fight timings are going to shorten, and instead of being a 7 minute patchwork (i'm just guessing here) most fights are going to be closer to 5 minutes or probably less and start transitioning to burst strategy's... fury warrior for example isn't going to get to make use of extended execute windows by the time their whole tree is maxxed out

Damn the titanic ocular gland with the secret technique trinket from H taza is a great combo. A free 219 haste and 22 haste to a party member. If I use the secret tech trinket first and get the haste and then put on the titanic ocular my haste is higher then vers so I get the haste stat buff. So dope

Venthyr sub prolly best bet for both in 1 spec

All specs are good, sin is great in raid and m+, just falls a bit behind later in the patch and can be harder to learn it’s aoe compared to sub
