I think it succeeds at being an "MMO", even an "MMO-RP" just not an "MMO-RPG". I think as a social space it can succeed at have a massive online space and, the story/non-game elements are enjoyable to me, I like it for those reasons and will continue to dip back in for them from time to time.

But....Imo any part of the "game" of FFxiv, any bit involving combat or the typical parts of an mmo we're use to, even when it does offer the extremely rare kill-quest, are just bad. It just fundamentally misses on combat to be enjoyable for me at multiple levels, from the overarching design down to the gcd-by-gcd action, especially when wow exists right next to it to compare to.

Back to playing rogue for the first time in a bit and I wanna double check some stuff with you guys regarding m+ aoe;

Assume I'm going into a 6-7 target pull, all CDs up, snd already rolling.

I garrote twice to get it up on 6t, then spread rip to equally many targets with fok as generator. After that I'll muli for spatter, get enough CP to have a rolling envenom and then go into dm kb sequence.

At what point would I consider getting CT up? Not until I've gone through the whole kb window?

You get 5 seconds of envenom buff and it takes 5GCD to get to the next one so it falls off just before I can refresh it. I have a spell queue window and am spamming my buttons
