something is wrong with my brawlhalla

if i log in, it does everything fine but always fails to connect to the brawlhalla servers

once im in the game, it will try "connecting" and eventually connects and lets me click play or ranked menus

this leads to numerous bugs like not putting me in a match, or delays, or textures going missing sometimes

like, i pick a legend, ready, then press the c to start

usually it just puts me in the waiting lobby, then matches me up and starts the match

but this time nope, once i press c nothing happens, its like the game isnt responding to my c command

i have to keep spamming the c, and after a few minutes i'll get matched

but i dont go through the waiting lobby, it goes from legend picking screen to the 3 2 1 brawl

i dont even get to see the enemies name or smth

to top it all off, the game also messes up my inputs

it delays my inputs, but can suddenly spam all my delayed inputs in one short interval

causing my character to go crazy

I just contacted EAC about the issue to see if there's a better fix for this issue. I used to be a Robocraft player but that uses EAC and you can't disable it. I thought it was me being dumb but now that BH uses EAC I see now it's not a me issue

aimup - relevant for advanced stuff
aimup&jump - does both

in the default controls, w and up arrow are set to aimup&jump. that's problematic for advanced stuff but you're not advanced yet.
the positioning of w and up arrow make jumping into down attacks hard, so set jump to space and use that during your jump reverse dair
