We are an English-speaking only community, sorry! Keep discussion in English.
Additionally, accounts new to this server have a 7-day restriction from accessing VCs due to spam prevention.

All rules also apply to voice chats.
Be mindful of other user's experiences and refrain from playing music, mic spamming, voice changers etc.

1️⃣ Act within reason and with friendly respect.
We do not tolerate disruptive or hostile behavior such as: racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, slurs etc. under any circumstances.
Attempting to bypass our filters is punishable.

2️⃣ No spamming.
Please do not excessively post: emojis, links, images, EXCESSIVE CAPS, spam mentions with a given @ role/user.

3️⃣ No begging, boosting, selling/trading items or codes.

4️⃣ No discussion of cheating, hacking, scamming, leaking, or other illegal subjects.

5️⃣ Use channels as intended.
Channel descriptions and/or pins will provide descriptions of what is or is not permitted in a given channel.
In most channels, you must have the Active role or higher to embed images. See #role-catalogue.

6️⃣ No impersonation and malicious threats/content allowed.
Do not post personal identification of others (without permission), witch hunts, IP addresses & identifiable names with intention of insulting or shaming.
While posting your own information is not prohibited, practice due diligence and protect yourself from harm.

7️⃣ No lewd/NSFW content or language. No roleplaying.

8️⃣ Do not use our Discord to DM users with ads.
Advertisements with personal content (e.g. Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, or social media/content of friends) in #promotion only.

9️⃣ We are a gaming Discord, not a debate club. Keep controversy about politics, religion, etc. out of here.
This includes drama about member bans or punishments. Any feedback or complaints should be redirected to Modmail.

FAQ

Q: How do I get roles? How can I post images?
A: To select roles and read about role functions, please visit #role-catalogue!
If you cannot attach images, it is because you need the Active role (spam prevention measure), granted at 250 messages.

Q: What happens when I break a rule and receive an infraction?
A: We use a strike system. 3 strikes, you're out. Certain offenses and circumstances may expedite the process.

Q: Something bad is happening in chat. Can I ping the moderators?
A: You may @ specific moderators in the case that someone is breaking the rules and the infraction has not yet been dealt with. You can also message Modmail. Please ping Admins only in emergency situations.

Q: Why was my art deleted from the art channels?
A: While art is subjective, please do not mockingly post with low quality MS Paint jokes. We want to cultivate artists who are proud to show their art in #not-brawl-art and #brawl-art. We may delete images that are too suggestive with mod discretion.

Q: I have a suggestion for the game. Can I talk to a dev?
A: Mods are not developers and have no power to perform in-game actions. Additionally, devs that may be in this server are NOT accepting direct feedback unless otherwise specified in the Feedback category. Please visit brawlhalla.com/support for additional tech support needs, feedback, or bug reports.

Q: Does this server have giveaways for Brawlhalla codes?
A: Please keep an eye out for server events! Visit #role-catalogue and equip roles that allow you to be pinged in #community-news or #server-news.

Q: I was privately messaged a scam message / unsolicited Discord invite. What should I do?
A: Please notify a moderator with screenshot evidence, and we will take action as necessary.

Don't message admins or mods for Community Colors (CCs) or other codes.
We cannot supply them on an individual basis! There are weekly events you can feel free to participate in if you would like a chance to obtain potential prizes.

Reiterating the latest announcement, we've noticed that a lot of you are asking questions about all sorts of stuff, so we've decided to set up a more organized and centralized way of contacting the Staff team: @stray silo (our primary bot) OR @misty drum (only message if the primary bot is down, please)

Please use the bot in inquiries regarding Discord server functionality, ban inquiries, role inquiries, etc.
To use, simply message the bot and an admin/moderator will respond to your ticket as soon as we have someone available.

Feel free to contact us using that about any questions/concerns you might have about the server but please keep in mind that any misuse or abuse of the bot will lead to you being blacklisted from creating any threads in the future and can lead to other moderation related actions.

Additionally, mods do not work on the game, we cannot perform tech support for your issues! We cannot "fix" your game, perform bug fixes, or take suggestions for Brawlhalla's content. Questions about tournaments, gameplay, and finding others to play with is better reserved for #help-booth or #looking-for-game.
