Every legend in Brawlhalla depends on skill. No matter if, say, Isaiah is the best (Just an example), that wont make you better.
Every single legend needs commitment and training to get good with. Sword, Hammer, Blasters, Lance, Katars, Bow, Axe, etc., every single weapon is going to need your commitment. You wont magically win a match because you play a "good" legend.

Simple. x and y are hard to learn, but that doesn't make them trash. No legend in this entire game is trash, there are only trash players.
But there is an exception:
All of this is true until a certain elo.
You might ask, what is this elo noob?
It's high diamond, around 2600+ elo. And that's if you're trying to rank up even more. Just pick a legend you like and play it. Trust me, they are good enough, no matter who.

first way is more inconsistent than the second
dlight > jump > cd > nair
if the dlight is gc-ed (gravity cancelled), you do not need to jump
the cd (chase dodge) is horizontal
this is a true combo on any dexterity
second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version
dlight > buffer cd > nair
you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice
