this is a true combo on any dexterity

second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version

dlight > buffer cd > nair

you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice

Try to input more movement in your mobility, maybe your movement was too predictable/linear.

You can also try to fake out/zone the sigs to get the best punishes.
Now i know that isnt the easiest thing in the world but its something.

On that note, learn the enemy's movement and their sig's trajectory/hitbox. This'll help when you fight against ssig spamming artys and vraxxes
