Although the online is quite good, the truth is there are quite annoying bugs... the first is one that when it is your turn it does not let you move or pick up objects so you have to restart the game, even worse if you are the host. The second is that when you are going to start the game the "start game" button does not load, you can spend five minutes waiting for it to continue with the three "loading" dots. Also to a lot of people because of what I saw today specifically (I don't know if it will continue to happen on other days) and the game keeps crashing, it doesn't happen all the time but I saw a lot of people complaining that the game crashed (even to my).

I find it kind of odd that you can't choose where to look during the game. Like it's always looking at who ever's turn it is. You're supposed to make decisions based on the items you and other players have and how much health you and other players have but half the time it's super hard to keep track of cos half the time you can't see one player's (or your own) health, and you don't see your own health or items til your turn so you can't plan ahead at all unless you have a really good short term memory (I do not)

idk if it's intended to be partially memory based (obviously it is with the shotgun shells but I mean other factors) but I think it would be better if you could see everything whenever you want and plan decisions and next moves n stuff in advance.

I haven't had this game(buckshot roulette) for long, but I've been following it on YouTube for a long time, and when I found out that a multiplayer mode was coming out, I immediately bought it together with my friends.

I think it's one of those games that will go viral in the near future.

The only thing I find disappointing about the game is that it only has a 4-player multiplayer mode. Most friend groups have more than 4 players, so it would be great if a 6-player mode could be implemented.

Big issue with this game is 3 life rounds, it should be minimum 4 as a player can get targeted really easily with nothing they can do about it and be killed before their turn even starts.

Hi guys, I know that you're probably flooded with these kinds of messages, but could you please consider revising the regional pricing for some of your games on Steam (came here from Arctic Eggs personally)?

Primarily coming here from the perspective of the Polish market, where the exchange rate Steam bases their default regional pricing on was fetched during the early weeks of the Russo-Ukrainian war, when the exchange rate to EUR was over 50gr higher than it currently is.

This caused the suggested prices to be between the prices in British Pounds and Swiss Francs, being the second highest in the world, despite Polish purchasing power and wages being severely lower than in the Great Britain or Switzerland.

There's an awareness campaign about unfair prices called #PolishOurPrices that already resulted in multiple indie devs lowering their unintentionally unfair prices of games such as Hades 2, No Rest for the Wicked, Selaco, Mullet Mad Jack, Into the Radius 2, Retropolis, Felvidek, Dusk, and many others.

I wholeheartedly believe this will encourage Polish gamers to buy your games on Steam, instead of relying on gray market reseller sites or pirating them.

The multiplayer mode is great but it really needs bugfix as half of the games do not end properly because something weird happens ( crashes, infinite blank, player not dying etc...) It is especially frustrating that these game breaking bugs alway happen late in the match when everyone is fired up.

Guys I just came up with an crazy idea for a multiplayer item that can be used to fix the "being targeted more than once" issue.

Alka Seltzer, or "seltzer tablet" to be legally distinct.

Once used, the player will drop a tablet in a solo cup and the water will begin to fizz until the player's next turn. Drinking it gives two charges. If another turn passes without drinking it the fizz will "expire" and the cup will comedically fall over, rendering the item useless.

This can discourage players from bullying one specific player.

Sess isn't wrong, and the server browser functionality of some kind is being worked on, I think. The initial release was clearly focused on the idea of playing with friends and not with strangers.

Which makes it a "shitty multiplayer system" for people who don't have their own group to play with.

Yeah, this feels more like Mike cutting corners in order to release the mode quicker and get some feedback on the gameplay, and not his actual vision of how the lobby search should function.

There's a patch coming soon, according to one of Mike's Twitter posts. Maybe it'll address the lobby search. Or maybe Mike was focused on fixing all those game crashes and desyncs.

The charge counter being disabled both shows that the player is about to skip a turn and sometimes makes it less likely that they'll get targeted. (You're not sure if you can finish them off or not, if you haven't been keeping track of everyone's charges.)

At the same time, we had a couple of ideas about what we were missing and what could be interesting to add.

1. Number of rounds. Now the maximum number of rounds in the game is 3. This is not always convenient if we are going to play with one company and want to spend a couple of hours playing without changing the party. Game Breaking Bug Found

during a 3 player game someone just picked up the gun during someone else' turn, effectively skipping it altogether, they picked the gun up and shot it and the table cycled to the next player.

during this game the action was repeatable even when the item boxes were dispensed, and as there were no rounds in the gun, all players were locked into free cam and unable to continue.

steps to reproduce are currently unknown, it needs verifying if anyone can just pick up the gun during another players turn

New features:

• THE BLACK MARKET: An in-game store where the player can unlock new items and skins, among other things
• DEALER HATS/MASKS: Unlockable hats and masks for the player

New items:

• BALLISTIC MASK: This item grants one armor point, which makes the player invulnerable to one live shell shot. After being shot with one live shell, this item breaks (can only be equipped one at a time)
• BOTTLE OF VODKA: This item lets the player unload all the remaining shells loaded on the shotgun, prompting a new loading sequence
• DRAGON POWDER: This item inserts gunpowder into the shotgun, which will make a live shell turn into an incendiary shell. Incendiary shells deals 1 damage on every turn until it deals 3 damage or the opponent dies (Won't work with blank shells)
• DUSTY DICE: This item works as follows: if a player throws a 1 - 3, the player loses its turn, and if it throws a 4 - 6, the player gets to deploy two new items from the box (if there are available spaces)

vodka is too op, this is just your dusty dice except everyone gets to roll for more items

dragon powder is also op - I chop you down to 4 hearts, then shoot you with one of those dragon shell (which put you to 3 hearts), and I can just starve you to win by eating every single shell as blank since by your expression when all shells are cleared out you take 1 dmg. I think dev is aware of possible stalling and is trying to prevent that from happening (jammer used to un-jam after every round and you can literally stall to win via https://discord.com/channels/1158444754325999747/1304377397243543572 before the update)

dusty dice is bad - they would have added expired pills if they think gambling 50/50 is a good idea

old whip is redundant in a sense that 2 adrenaline does the exact same thing but you can use the item you steal (you can argue that it saves spaces but adrenaline provides more option so it quickly become expired pills v2), and metal box is just an inferior version of old whip

only ballistic mask is somewhat viable but cig already does that and equipping it one at a time means it's just a fancier 6-hearts game so why bother

Both you and the other person should try verifying files through Steam or reinstalling the game. Reinstallation is the nuclear option.

Steam sometimes misses a game update for some reason, and needs an extra push to download it.

QoL improvements. BUCKSHOT ROULETTE **Make selecting quicker.**Mouse is disabled, Alot..before it goes active. Picking the pill box, clicking the door, pick out of the box ingame, writing your name every single time. It feels slow.

• Being able to select in the menu while it fades in. Mouse is disabled until fading is completed.
• After choosing 'start' the game fades into the bathroom where you stand and your mouse is disabled for an additionaly 3 seconds before being able to make a selection, it just kills the mood right there and then. This also applies to when loosing a game and it puts you right into the bathroom again.
  That also goes for when picking the door or the pill box during new game. Make the selection function more snappier. That goes for the selecting in main menu, pill box, the door, the door on the catwalk, the waver, when picking out items from the box escpecially -> me and probably many other players have noticed that we are quicker to lay down items and click the box anew than the game allows.
• After a session or even exiting in and out of the client make the game remember the last name you wrote on the waver and leave it there.
• Allow us to look around in the bathroom and the catwalk and the buckshot room. Loosen up the restraints thats hovering over this awesome game.

• When Buckshot is shot his face changes one time and it stays there until the game ends. Make several variations of his unsatisfactory face, more creepypasta. Rotate faces after every or several shots.
• When Buckshot takes a pill and it heals him, put his smile back on.

I've had them set to only Buckshot Roulette since I joined the server. Haven't changed them, they've always looked like this.

The problem is, the pings that go out for your news are everyone pings, so it doesn't matter what customization I've set.

There's only one out of the past few #│news announcements that WASN'T an everyone, and that was the second announcement about Steam Awards.

the problem sits in the fact that the onboarding lets the user decide what they get pinged for, while in reality it doesn't matter what role you pick because an @ everyone is being send out regardless...

Frankly, I don't care about all the games. I picked the roles for the games I do care about and I want to receive pings about. I don't care about games like Home Renovation.. I don't want the ping for Home Renovation yet I get the @ everyone for Home Renovation...

Solution here is to just stop using @ everyone and just ping the role for the game. Sure, an @ everyone on game releases and new games is fine, but that should be the only case for an @ everyone ping to be send out

Not a bug but I have an idea for a new mode, "Buckshot Solitaire" or "Buckshot survival" Is a single player mode where the player gets a set of rounds and they have to guess which rounds are blank and which rounds are live. For players who want a challenge they can chose to play with one charge and for those who want to play a little easier they can choose 3 lives. The player who survives all three rounds wins and needless to say if they die any of the rounds they lose. Its a very cool idea

found a softlock with the jammer. so i got my turn skipped in multiplayer by the guy who plays right before i would have, but they finished the round shooting the last bullet, on the next load (which i would have started to play on because the round ended with the person before me) my skipped turn hasnt technically passed yet. so everybody in that lobby got softlocked because i couldnt take my items from the box, even using arrow keys + enter didnt work. so i had to leave the lobby

Not sure if this has been an issue before or has been spoken about and resolved but I’m replying to this message as I am having the same exact issue and have had it even before the multi-player update.

Any sort of tabbing out of or being tabbed out before actually being in main menu (i was trying to screen share) just removes the cursor from the inside of the game permanently. I have the Ctrl highlight circle enabled on my computer as well so I know where my mouse is when similar things occur on other games as well but Buckshot doesn’t allow it to show up regardless. I had to restart steam entirely and even restarted my computer to see if it was an update issue but it persisted after tabbing out once more. It seems like restarting steam helps 50/50 but even restarting the game occasionally is kind of bugged out with the mouse problem.
My other friend has begun to share the same issues with the invisible mouse cursor.
Looked online but found little to nothing even with altered search quo.

I don't agree with your opinion, if everyone thought like you, players who like to play alone or who don't have friends to play with would be constantly disadvantaged due to a completely selfish logic, and would not be able to improve their skills in the game. The game is FFA, you play alone, you win alone, just because the game has a "punk" look doesn't mean you can disrupt the experience for others, so that's a problem and could very well be looked into and fixed, things like that would benefit players and developers, because a reporting system is very attractive for new players, good night.✌️

If the players agree to play as a team or 2v2, there is no problem, after all everyone agreed, the real problem is the players who abuse this against the will of their opponents, this is meta gaming, and it is not valid to say this is a strategy, this is just cowardice and childish behavior, the game is FFA, if players agree to form teams, it is optional and fair. I don't think players who engage in this type of abuse should be banned, but rather they should be warned and subsequently banned. If the behavior is repeated, regardless of your opinion or mine, the game is individual and the meta-game or team is unfair and a valid reason for reporting. I'm having an issue with custom match settings. I'm wanting all 8 items to come in on Sequence 1, and for there to be zero items for the rest of the sequences, but the items keep coming in on Sequence 4 instead, even though Sequence 4 is set to zero items. Does anyone else have this issue?

Update: Did some testing and noticed that if I set Sequence 2 items to 8, then they appear on the first Sequence.

ok so i had to reinstall buckshot on a different drive for storage reasons but now i have to use the --rendering-driver opengl3 thing. it opens with that but since it removes all the shadows and effects it just doesnt look good so is there a way to do it without that or am i just fucked

Hello, there is a bug in the multiplayer mode. The round ended four times before it was my turn and everyone shot at me and I couldn't even use my items and said goodbye to the game.

This entire community has become so toxic and clearly gangs up on randoms, that anybody that is friends with someone, has no viablility in it to actually tally up and try the legitimately without the worry of gangs.
