I haven't heard anything about that. They don't usually announce that beforehand. Also, you can only use Midjourney on Midjourney. They don't have a general API that other providers can use as far as I know. You need a Midjourney Sub to use their models.

But be careful, you can only generate 5 or 8 seconds at a time. So you will have to generate quite a bit of video depending on the length of your original source.

To get a good estimate of the length of your dialogue, ask Gemini to create subtitles

If you request in "srt" format, you will each time have a time code between each sentence.

I'd suggest you experiment with Gemini 3 Nano Banana Pro. One of the strengths of that model is its ability to maintain consistent characters, and if you tell it explicitly what not to change, you can get quite nuanced in what you generate. Generations are free until December 1, so now would be a good time to probe its capabilities and see if it will give you what you need.

I think that 4,000 credits for the Creative Cloud Pro plan is very little. You do generations (10 at best to get the desired result), upscaling, remove various noises and so on, and the credits run out very quickly. I have alot of scanned photos, so it seems like a good option to "Auto" crop. But I do not want to lose the resolution of the scans, do the cropped image lose resolution?

You are using veo there, a partner model so ensure you may produce it based on your balance (though it should point out if that is the case). Instead of "special way" you can describe what should happen. Drop out unnecessary describers as "please animate"

Hi, I'm new here. I signed up for the Creative Cloud Pro subscription from India. Currently on the 7-day trial. Everything looks great but just one question - On the Firefly web version, under 'Text to Vector' feature, I see only 3 models - Firefly Image 3 and 2 partner models - GPT Image and Ideogram 3.0. I do see the 'Add' button next to the 2 partner models but I'm unable to add those. I click on the 'Add' button and nothing happens! My creative cloud pro membership gives me 4,000 generative credits per month, which should give me access to these partner models. Also, I remember, couple of days back, I saw Firefly Image 4 & 5 as well but now I only see Firefly Image 3. When I contacted support over chat, they told me that it's a known issue and will be resolved within 48 hours. It's been longer than that now and I don't see anything different. Is that issue still being looked into? Any one else noticing the same issue as mine? Thanks...!

AI engineer who basically lives in that space where code meets machine learning chaos. Most of what I do revolves around LLMs that getting them to behave, getting them to understand context and making sure they don’t hallucinate themselves into another universe. I spend a lot of time wiring models into real products, building RAG setups, tweaking prompts and fighting with vector databases when they decide to not return anything useful.
One of the more interesting things I built recently was an “intelligent helper” for a support team. The idea sounded simple have an AI read incoming tickets and draft replies but the real work was everything behind the scenes. I had to figure out how to teach the model the company’s voice, get it to pull the right info from a big pile of documents and make the whole thing fast enough that humans wouldn’t lose patience. It was a lot of trial-and-error, but once it clicked, it actually saved people hours every week. That’s the part I love: when the AI finally does the thing you meant for it to do.
Anyway, I’m always playing with new setups, new tricks and new ways to make these models actually useful. If you’re into building with LLMs or just enjoy talking about the weird stuff they do, I’m around.

This really cranks me up...I started working with firefly on friday by editing a schematic sketch that i drew into a realistic image...Friday everything worked fine and I was making really good progress. Today I resumed the work and nothing seems to work anymore....I write a prompt to further edit the image I generated on friday, boom firefly generates a totally different image from scratch. I also tried to use the image from friday as a refence, it still generates a total different new image based on the prompt.

i assume that's due to the slightly different models being used, but also the aspect ratio, while firefly can output up to a certain size, the size is also dependant on the aspect ratio of the image

I'm trying to tell it "He is bent over the drafting table looking at the blueprint, drawing a line with a ruler and a pencil", but it's just creating the second photo. I cannot use partner models at work, so no chance of running this through Google NB.

The mods always do a great job here helping everyone (love you guys!) so hopefully this message is simply received and passed on to Adobe: PLEASE figure out a better method than the generative credit system. We rely on these tools for our livelihood. So when a single asset generation costs anywhere from 10 to 1500 credits it makes me not really want to bother with firefly and signup directly with ChatGPT or Gemini who simply throttle your bandwidth when you’ve used too much. Please take this entirely as constructive criticism - I want firefly to be better - I love using it, I just want to not pull my hair out when I generate a useless 1500 credit video and burn up half my credits 2 days after resetting and losing another 1000 because they don’t roll over. However, every time I attempt to create a video without camera movement, it fails.

• open Firefly in another browser

If you use Firefly Boards you can input the image and have the engine use AI to increase the resolution. Click on the image then choose to Upscale w/ Topaz Labs. Under Enhancement choose "Subtle Creativity" and checkmark 4K.

There's a couple promos going on right now. You can check your account to see which one you have. Usually a message says so somewhere near your credit allocation. But yeah, if credits aren't changing you probably have one of the promotions.

Yes. Under the "Ideate" tab. Then choose "Create a new Board" or something like that. It creates something like a mood board where you can do all sorts of cool stuff to generate from existing materials. I use it to create quick storyboards. But in your case, there's a feature to upscale to 4K from existing work. Just gotta' import it to the board, click on the asset, then choose Upscale (might have to hover over the emblems to see the text of that).

And the reason you choose "Subtle" creativity is because you don't want the engine taking a bunch of liberties with your design. It just redraws what you have w/ ai, so allowing the least amount of creativity tells the system to keep it as close as possible to the original.

We can't say much without knowing what you are working on or the project length. Generally I'd say be specific and clear when writing the prompt, but also be realistic with your expectations; divide sections of the projects to smaller, think upfront about what transitions can be implemented etc.

In Adobe Firefly image generation, the prompt box stops accepting text after around 1,100 characters, while the same long prompts work fine in Gemini and ElevenLabs.

After generating an image, the previous prompt stays in the input field instead of clearing, which makes it confusing when starting a new prompt.

When starting a 1‑week Firefly free trial, I was forced to set up autopayment and money was actually debited from my bank during what was supposed to be a free trial.

If you're taking a course in the literal sense then the professor of said course should provide you tips and tricks. They'd be able to offer specific guidance on the prompts you're having issues with. There are a ton of Firefly Prompting guides out there in the general sense if you need help structuring your prompt. No you won't be able to generate graphic violent content using words like "turret gun" or generate images of shooting or people being shot (sorry I am having a hard time understanding what you listed under the example words due to the misspelling). If you want to generate imagery of battles you'd need to be descriptive without using those specific words. I'm not going to go into detail but we had plenty of issues in the past with people using clever descriptors to generate images that appeared violent using descriptions other than "blood," and then sharing that to the discord so it is possible. Again if there's something specific you have in mind we can try to help, as long as it isn't overly graphic.

we've generated plenty of pirates, dinosaurs, animals, horror imagery for halloween during the firefly events in the discord, not really sure what to make of your comment about "american pie party scenes" you're not going to be able to generate sexual content with firefly, and I'm not sure you're going to be able to with other image generators using their servers/service either, plenty of others have censorship as well at this point.

I've been getting Can't load We can't display the generated image. You can edit and try again. for the last 30 minutes to variations in prompt and reference images. Is there something going wrong on the server end? Is it because I'm using a free trial account and there is no room in the queue for me? Am I hitting the censor bar? I know some AI can be sensitive, but my reference images are from a PG-rated movie and Wikipedia commons so they shouldn't be hitting the censor bar.

I was trying to make a tribal character for my D&D campaign by compositing Christopher Atkins outfit onto the swimmer on the far right. I tried several different captures of Atkins and the couple of photos of the same swimmer and several different variations of the prompt and all I got was the error.

Google has pretty tough moderation, particularly with a lot of exposed skin. Try a prompt without the image and using descriptive language instead.

It probably doesn't like the skin in the reference image. Try my prompt and see how it works for you. Tweak as desired. No reference image required and likely won't get caught up in Google's moderation. No guaratees though. However, it worked for me.

It's impossible to know which tokens Gemini doesn't like without seeing the prompt. Have you tried generating an image right in the Gemini app first? Or pasting in the prompt to Gemini and asking it why the prompt might fail to produce an image? Which terms or tokens might be disallowed? I would do that first before you keep trying in Firefly.

you might be having issues if cloud servers are having problems. Last week it was really bad across different platforms. I looked it up on google if cloud server issues will effect AI generations and this is what i got ..... Adobe (like all 3P providers) have a block of servers and when it hits a certain threshold, that's it. No more resources until a GPU is freed up. Happens with anyone attaching to the Gemini API. It's not an endless supply.

You use Gemini to build a 360 turnaround of the character that you want in the clothing that you want. Then take that generation to Firefly and use it as an image reference. Then the first part of your prompt should begin with instructions to use the ref image as ultimate truth. I use a placeholder like this:

The main subject is the person in the attached photo (hereinafter referred to as THE_SUBJECT). Carefully and accurately replicate THE_SUBJECT’s appearance exactly as shown in the photo.

Then use the remainder of the prompt to describe THE_SUBJECT's action, the enivornment, the lighting, the camera angle, etc.

You don't even really have to build a turnaround. Just the angle that you want in the clothing you want. Then use that as your reference image so you don't have to waste tokens describing the main subject.

This also solves another problem or two. You can see if Gemini has a problem with either the character or the clothing before you start burning credits in 3P service.

In fact, if you want to dig deeper, you can do this with almost everything. Supply images of the character, the environment, the props, etc. Then just refer to the images in the prompt. This allows you to write shorter, more laser-focused prompts, describing only the things not shown in the reference photos.

Turn the mess on the left into the comp on the right...

Put the clothing on the woman. Put the woman leaning up against the car. Put the car and woman into the beach overlook scene. Composite the elements with perfect perspective, composition and lighting to create a breath-taking candid photo that captures the moment for posterity.

The last sentence is pretty flowery and could be exchanged for better art direction.

Honestly, you can even use this method to get Madison Beer into the image because you're not using her name; just her likeness. Personally, I wouldn't do that because it's unethical/illegal to use someone's likeness without permission but it's possible regardless of the moral/legal implications.
