Hey, can anyone go back and see if any image they favourited in their browser in october or earlier still generates the same image when you click on it? For me, everything created before October seems to have lost all the styles (the prompt is unchanged) and it regenerates a new image without the styles. Thx

In the prompt jockey today, there was a discussion on enforcements of the generative credits. This is the paragraph that seems to have changed very recently:

**What happens if I use all my generative credits? **
Generative credit counts reset each month based on the billing date of your plans. Starting January 17, 2024, we will begin enforcing generative credit limits on select plans, including but not limited to Adobe Firefly. You can try using generative fill and replace the background of your image by generating, but if you have a generated image already and another image, there's no automated way to combine them. In that case you'd want to consider using Photoshop techniques to composite them @tawdry lintel

According to the page now, this limit started yesterday. I think this person with an Adobe Firelfy plan is limited to two gens per day after using all credits until the next month of their plan when credits reset. The greyed out behaviour supports my theory that they ran out and it won't generate anymore.

@swift patio Those 2 images together are a nightmare. The model has a long sleeve shirt on, so you'll need to add arms back in. Other than that there are many compositing videos of how to add the shirt, match colors, and perspective. Good luck.

I'd try to generate the white tee to the model and put the logo on the shirt last.

Yes, the people look like they are painted. Even the man you showed doesn't look real to me. There are not lines or imperfections, and everything looks like an artist like norman rockwell painted the humans.

Adobe firefly used to do really well creating photo realistic images from text but lately I have had really bad luck getting anything I can use in terms of photo realism. I am not sure if they did an update or if there are tighter copyright laws around stock photos that was used to train it in the past. Maybe the prompt rules changed but its been less successful for me recently.

I've also been struggling with getting firefly's ai to not show teeth or hands. I have included it in the exclude terms. Whey I put don't show hands in frame it put the hands centered in frame. So I think I am doing the prompt wrong. I have tried everything to get it not to show stethoscopes, hands or teeth but haven't had success.

The probablistic nature of AI tends to default to "flawless". This is true of all AI image generators. But work in prompts can produce more realistic results.

I think it's safe to say that they are still figuring out the best way to implement credits. The 2 a day limit is currently in regard to the adobe express and adobe firefly individual app plans, only. And occurs after users with those plans have used their monthly credits, keeping in mind the date credits renew month to month is dependent on the date you signed up for your plan (so not necessarily the first of the month). No one here has any idea how credit limits will work with other plans right now. "Limited time" meaning at least until March 1st, and as for your second question about "free but slower" that has been the plan, but we will have to wait and see how that gets implemented.

As @astral jolt mentioned, your prompts can generally override that behaviour. Maybe start over with a new seed (going back to the main page and creating again using "caucasian woman")

I would probably remove the "MJ switches" from your prompt, e.g. --ar, --stylize, etc. These don't work in Firefly and may create undesirable side-effects. They are likely seen as unusable tokens but may still influence the generation.

I have to agree with Shawn, I was one of the stubborn ones that experimented with text. The most I managed to get was a seven word sentence using text to image, and once I had achieved that I sort of gave up trying and went to other apps to add the text.
The sentence was “life is like a box of chocolates” and I think it took me 3-4 days to get it all correct.

I haven't engaged here, despite using firefly rather regularly now, but I don have a question. I have been noticing an issue when attempting to generate dinosaur art by species name. Firefly does T-Rex reasonably well, but breaks down to nonsense pretty quick when any other dino is requested. Has anyone else had this happen? How do I be more specific than the actual dino name?

what dinosaur are you trying to generate exactly? you said t-rex works. You can try searching for it on adobe stock and seeing what tags and names it is refered to there and use that in your prompt

Love using firefly for drawing references, but been finding firefly 2 very sterilised. Wondreing if anyone else feels the same? Like, I can get a similar result in 2, but it takes a lot longer and the styles don't seem to be as effective p.s. I get best results if I get the effect I want in 1 and use it a a ref for 2

Have you tried Firefly 1? I am finding FF1 has some advantages over FF2. I was working with someone who posted in the Adobe Community yesterday about not being able to create objects from other objects (like a mountain made of scrambled eggs, or a skyscraper made of pankakes). FF2 could not seem to do that at all, but FF1 could. So, now I find myself going back to FF1 more and more (after snubbing it for a while 🤣 )

hi hi, I had a play with your prompt, it works for the style you defined, but not the vibe I was going for. My final solution is using firefly 1 to get the overall color scheme then use as a reference for firefly 2

I mean if that's working for you continue on your path. I'm just trying to explain that firefly image 2 gives you more control over the stylization, where in firefly image 1 the results across the board are more stylized. If you pick photo in firefly image 2 you're going to get photo results. If you want a specific vibe, you should be using the style panel to achieve that look.

i tried the isometric art filter and it doesn't seem to really do what it intends. so i end up havinv to put "isometric view of ___" in the prompt and it usually will generate an isometric view. i guess my problems is though i'm trying to make like an isometric room-cutout type of thing, i'm sure if you've seen those?

so i'll say something like "isometric view of a hotel balcony" or something like that, and it just generates an entire hotel.

Its quite tricky to attempt matching the style you have going on a sample image. Some pointers are to look for like medieval/1200's town hall houses, etc. describing the style further. I would even try composing in photoshop

No, that is not a possibility. There is a style guide to text to vector which may get you closer stylistically. I would suggest trying to create your scene to text to image and incorporating it to the character using photoshop or express.

another question, say you like a photo that is generated, but you want to "zoom in" closer to the scene without compromising quality, i guess? how would one approach that? I was thinking of cropping the part that i want zoomed in, then using generative fill or something? utimately i would like something full-hd, just zoomed in.

Underscores are there because I copied your prompt from url. they arent adding to. The order of the words matter though.

I haven't used Firefly in like two weeks.
