@glad nexusThat is a complex mask even for photoshop, it can be done but it would take a fair amount of time

I would try using the magic wand on the bits you want to remove then invert that selection using ctrl/cmd+shift+I

then you can delete the bits you don't want

Hello, I just tested this beta that seems promising to me.....

I have a question I just tested the Generative fill by downloading a personal image, in which I erased the wallpaper and kept my main subject. I created a prompt for the ia to generate my scene. After several attempts I arrive at a satisfactory result but I ask myself a question is that by uploading another photo and eliminating the background to re-generate a scene thanks to the same prompt will I have the same background as a result? The answer is no and so I want to know if it is possible by any means to keep a background model generated by the ia to use it with other tests? Thank you for your feedback

The short answer is no. The long answer is I would use Photoshop Beta so that way I would have layers and I could take those layers into any file within Ps.

@austere bough totally agree that the simplest prompts are the easiest. Finding the simple prompt is the challenge.
Eg. Key shaped like a bulldog head @halcyon pebble used was the easiest solution.

If one likes the serendipity of creating images then yes, short prompts are the best 👌 Ones you want a certain style or specific details, you really have to dive in and do some real work to get what you want. The lather is what most people don't want to do, and that kinda worries me 😅

sure, thank you. Okay... lets assume I have a real photo of a person. I want to upload this photo and ask FF to generate the same image but with some cosmetics applied. For example, eye brow with an applied color or even the same person but after eye brow surgery. I can give more examples, but lets stick to these 2 for now.

you could try with firefly, you may not be able to specify a certain colour though, as for the eyebrow surgery part firefly doesn't understand what surgery is so you would have to be as specific as possible when creating your prompt, describing what you want in some detail. To be honest it would be much easier to do with photoshop, using the selection tools to select the eyebrows and using a hue and saturation layer to change the colour of them, and for eyebrow surgery part I would use the neural filters for that as you can change the appearance of faces with a few sliders

The reason my prompts are never really short and simple is because it's also nice to get what you want. A long prompt also makes you get an original picture which is not easy to reproduce with the same idea.

@glad nexusYou would be better of asking in the photoshop discord, but it looks like the drive you are trying to save too is pretty full up, you can change which disc is used as your scratch disc, if you have more than one that is, in the preferences. It is best to have your scratch disc on a different disc than which the app is installed. in the meantime you can always click on the learn how to fix button on the right of the pop up.

I have a love/hate relationship with generative AI. Sometimes it works so well it is magical and other times... it simply WILL NOT cooperate with the desired end result. It can be infurating after trying 27 times with new mask/selections drawn, new prompts, all 60 generations tried. I'm not sure what to do in these instances and almost ruins the entire experience. The issue I have found is the selections overlapping and Gen Fill is looking at the whole image and trying to figure out what the heck is going on with this image. After many prompts on one image, it gets confused.

So, I've tried many, many variations of prompts and to be fair, I usually get either exactly what I'm looking for or close enough to just manually finish the result to intent.

But I wanna add material in that selection to move the arm guard out

and... despite my best efforts, it just keeps moving it BACK, further away from the edge of the knuckles

My selection was initailly broader to allow for the stitching to accomodate the new material, but that made it worse

I think your selection is wrong here. If you want more arm guard, select more guard. You're not telling the AI what you want with this selection. I had to study it and still had no idea what you wanted.

Does Adobe Sensei have a "History"? I've noticed when prompting for a while and selecting a specific outputs, I've been providing positive feedback. I've also been using the generations I like as "Show Similar" for new generations. After a while, I'm starting to see more of a specific type of reference point. Specifically, there are more diverse images with a set style or theme I am seeing now than before.
