I requested access using an email that isn't the email I log into Adobe with. But I was logged into my Adobe account when I filled out the form. So now that I'm accepted, is it not working because of that?

The same thing happened to me. I used my business email instead of my Adobe ID email, and I had an old Adobe ID associated with that email. Everything seems to be working fine. I'm just logged into one for my Firefly tab, and the other for all my CC software.

@tender basalt the beta for firefly does not require you to have a CC subscription, just an active Adobe ID (and be 18 years or older). So, you should be able to play with the tool on that new account, only issue is that it might be somewhat annoying to switch from your real account to your alternate just to play with the Beta.

I have had success separating words ie "Do Not", "Disrupt", when you get something close make it reference image then play with the slider for the strength of the reference image, also spelling incorrectly helps with duplicated letters ie "dissrupt" it sounds counter intuitive but it works and you can replicate it for each letter that is duplicated.

Ok so I got it working. When I went to create an account with the one email, it said I already had an account with that email 🤔 . So I was able to just reset the password and login with that, and it has Firefly access. So I might have forgotten that I had an account with that email after all.

Hm so it looks like the highest resolution you can generate on the site is about 1.8 megapixels with the widescreen option at 1792x1024. I wonder if there is an actual limitation on the model in terms of resolution, or if these resolutions were chosen as a good starting point to balance compute power. Like would it be possible to generate square images at 1792x1792?

the AI would need to be trained on those, with Stable Diffusion I see the base are or 512x512 or 768x768, any higher res then the standard and you have changes of duplications. (the AI thinks that ,if it is trained on 512x512 and you generate on 1024x1024, it's need to generate two times the subject). technically there is no limit other then the hardware capabilities from adobe, but if you would generate above the "base" expect duplicates and this requires much effort in prompting or inpainting to avoid/erase.

hope this explains it a bit.

I've noticed unlike other image models that were trained by scraping the internet Adobe Firefly has some huge blindspots because of it's limited training data. For example, it cannot accurately create a Hockey, Football, or Baseball Stadium whereas the other competitors have no problem with this.

Hm it looks like the URL has info like the prompt and seed stored in it. So you can do funny stuff like making the seed the same for all 4 images haha. You can also store any info you need to reproduce the images without necessarily having to download them. Might be nice to have some of that info displayed in an info box or something after being generated

Scraping the web kept me from using other AI sites so I was very excited to try Firefly.

Signed up Tuesday morning 21Mar23 and got in Wednesday afternoon 22Mar23 (approx 32 hours).

I don’t expect/want Firefly to spit out the perfect image. I’m looking for it to generate idea starters that I can flesh out, elements e.g., characters, trees, riverbanks, and/or sections (foreground, background) that I can composite in PS or AE.

I’ve been playing around with it almost a week now and so far... it’s doing exactly what I had hoped it would :) I look forward to watching it evolve (knowing more features/functionality are in exploration/on the way) and that it will only get better.

I created a Quartets game for the Passover holiday using Firefly. I used text-to-image and text effects and connected all the images to our Quartet Printable Generator. The result is fantastic and easy to use.

1.Working with Firefly is very easy and user-friendly. The UI/UX is fun.
2.It would be even easier to find a good prompt if there was a search function in the gallery.
3.When I create a reference image and change the image, the reference image disappears and I can't find it anymore.
4.Images that I create don't appear again unless I send them to the main gallery.
5.The browser frequently crashes after a simple action.

But I was doing a video and it made me stop and think wait.... are we not allowed to show working with the images in our own apps?

I would use common sense here. Look at what other people are doing around sharing content created with firefly, and which have been encouraged by Adobe (both images and via video), and use that as your general guide.
