well, I've tried comparisons for a while, pro and cons on both. Firefly it's amazing with product mockups for example, midjourney with v5 is way better with photorealistic stuff

I don't think it's that, text generation with an graphics engine is really hard, and getting prompts to be understood involves both natural language processing and for the generative engine to have a detailed understanding of how to implement that

Well in the demo videos I've seen items removed, scenes changed to winter etc, and as a horse photographer this makes me very excited. I would love to be able to change skies (I use Luminar Neo now but I hate it), add/remove objects quicker and easier, change seasons using AI, add water, rivers etc. The possibilities are endless.

I think, in order for Firefly to be competitive it will eventually have to offer the same capabilities as more robust systems such as Stable Diffusion. The benefit being that Adobe's implementation would very likely be much more user friendly and not quite as cryptic as SD. Removing some of the granularity but maintaining the overall functions of things such as inpainting, outpainting, pose matching, depth maps and so on.
