Most likely you’ll need to clear the Steam download cache and then request the game update/installation again. Also keep in mind that traffic is heavy right now.
If it’s not working and it’s possible, consider postponing the update download for now until things get back to normal.

You get up to your lifetime tap's equivalent in costumes which is something you can constantly progress up to 25 million taps. It also takes into account the amount of items you've collected so far. Everything else you start fresh such as the 10k emote, joining a lobby of 50 players, and using the exchange system

We are experiencing Steam issues again😮‍💨 , but when you click on chest you still receive the item - just check your Inventory History.
To find your Steam inventory history, go to your Inventory page, click the "..." (More) button, and select "View inventory history" to see past trades and item changes.

Postpone doing the in-game exchange if you see Steam error☝️, as there have been reports that some items might disappear or a new trade-related achievement might not count.

I have a problem launching Bongo Cat.

When I start the game through Steam, it shows as running in Steam and appears in Task Manager, but the cat does not appear anywhere on the screen. There is no window, no icon on the taskbar, and nothing in the system tray.

I already tried:

• reinstalling the game
• verifying game files in Steam
• restarting Steam and Windows
• deleting local configuration files

The process still runs in Task Manager, but the application itself is invisible.

I am using a laptop (Lenovo Legion 5 16IRX9) with only one screen connected.

Could this be related to a saved window position or an overlay issue?

When I start the game, the cat briefly appears for a moment and then suddenly disappears. After that, the process is still running in Steam and in Task Manager, but the application itself is completely invisible.

There is no window in Alt+Tab, nothing on the taskbar, and no icon in the system tray. Pressing keys after that also doesn’t do anything.

Hello, I have a problem with claiming reward and nothing that I tried is working.

At first, I couldn't get box reward because when I clicked on the box, it was loading for a long time and then it showed me error. Timer went to 1 minute and the situation keept repeting.

Now the timer goes down from 1 minute to 00:00 and then just start over without box or nor anything, just keeps reseting.

And I have enough point to claim it.

What I tried to fix:

• update and reopen
• reinstall
• changing settings (like FPS to lower, etc)
• reopening the game
• reseting my computer
• turning off and on the game
• reseting transparency (just to get it reopen)

Nothing helped, so I hope you could help me, because It's so irritating and makes me sad :((

You might have a limited Steam account. If you haven’t spent at least $5 on Steam, trading and some other features are locked.

Other possible reasons:
• Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator isn’t enabled or was enabled less than 7 days ago
• Recent password/email change (this can temporarily block trading)
• Some items just can’t be traded or have a cooldown

You can check your account status and Steam Guard settings in your Steam account settings.

CS2 might be running in Exclusive Fullscreen. In that mode overlays usually don’t appear on top. Try switching the game to Windowed/Borderless Windowed and keep Always on Top enabled in Bongo Cat.

The achievement display shows the "maximum number of items you've ever had simultaneously" in your Steam Bongo Cat inventory.
This is consistent with the way achievements are calculated in other games.

I would really love to know how they got the scroll wheel in the game working since I just can't implement a scroll wheel without jumping through a bunch of hoops. I don’t think it’s necessary to go as far as uninstalling/reinstalling the game. You can always update the game to the latest version with all working updates from the developers in the settings, in the 6th tab of the game.

The bug at the core of this has basically been here forever, because it's just the result of opening multiple instances of the .exe file, which iirc is both not really a thing that can be easily prevented and not a particularly high priority issue considering all it actually does is display multiple cats and temporarily eat your ram until you close them and then it's fine

I would for sure do the "delete all" if you have the demo items as that is a bug and not intended. I have asked if it is a cloud saving game for progress or a local save as that would determine if it saves only progress you have done on the 1 computer or share it between the 2.

Hello sorry to bother but I never did get the bongo cat skin for wishlisting and following tap tap loot back in January or so ! 🥹 I remember following and wishlisting several times and even uninstalled bongo cat a couple times to see if I’ll get it. Once the demo came out, I received the tabby cat with red glasses and for some reason thought it was the reward for wishlisting and following. It seems the reward for wishlisting and following was a grey cat with a knight helm 😭 I’m a bit late at noticing so if there’s nothing that can be done then no worries! Just wanted to ask! The new cow and bird skin isn’t working either sadly.

but the developers have already fixed it. The most reliable thing to do is check for updates to your Steam client and then update Bongo again through the settings.

The option to add a game to your wishlist does indeed disappear once the game is added to your library. If, as you say, you have the game already, I don’t think there’s really anything that can be done here, unfortunately.

Hey just bought tap tap loot - is there no support for linux (cachy os) ? if I open it i get a massive black screen with the "cat / enemys" at the bottom, but it is not transparent like for my girlfriend in windows. also if i prerss something on another screen it wont register in the game

The issue was that when launching the game, it showed demo stuff. That’s why everyone was advised to go into the settings and delete their progress, since this situation would later cause bugs.

You just load it up and type/click away. The 'taps' will add up to being points. With the points you can buy a chest every 30 minutes with 1000 points.
From there you just enjoy the game to how you want, joining lobbies to be with other members or can be on your own.

Every tier the items gets more expensive to upgrade so you are probably just running out of money due to the upgrades. Try turning auto upgrades off and see if it still happens.

that depends how far in the game you are. there are points where you should need to pick and chose what to upgrade as they become expensive

that depends on the rarity from what I can see. each 5 levels it goes up. and higher rarity looks to be more expensive. this is why I suggest you turn it off so you are in control of when things upgrade, and so you are able to see if the money goes down at any other times. I would also say it is worth it to make a #1422141346545664041 and share your logs in there so the developers can have a look if turning auto upgrading off shows that there is money dissapearing without being used.
