i changed some backend framework and i'm guessing that this is causing the issue

if that build is working i just enabled the requires dotnet 4.8 framework in the steam backend, if you switch back to the normal version afterwards this should download it with the game

Every single time i've had the chance to press the chest for the last day or two, it's constantly just giving me an x for a while and many attempts

I'm not sure if it's only a steam bug or something to do with the timer being wrong in code after a certain time or something

above your collected items is an exchange button.
you can use all your dupes to exchange for new higher tier items there (or recycle items you don't like as well 😉 )

you will need to exchange 10 of a tier to upgrade to 1 higher tier item 🙂

are you refering to the demo? you have to switch to the released non demo game within a few days, and all your progress from the demo won't transfer over, this is why so many have lower numbers now on their cat 🙂

If a game has "profile features limited," it just means that the Steam game is not fully verified yet because it's new. Once Steam verifies the game, then your achievements should count normally.

I ran it as administrator but its not working :(( I saw the update post yesterday or something where it said that if you run as administrator then most of the issues revolving around bongo cat not working in certain games would be fixed but it seems not 🥹

Right click the game on steam -> Manage -> Browse local files
there right click the BongoCat.exe -> properties -> go to the compatibility tab -> uncheck the "run as administrator" checkbox, hit apply
start bongo cat
this disables the admin mode again, will fix this first thing tomorrrow

If you have the admin mode enabled and it's bugged this is how you can disable it:
Right click the game on steam -> Manage -> Browse local files
there right click the BongoCat.exe -> properties -> go to the compatibility tab -> uncheck the "run as administrator" checkbox, hit apply

hello, my power went out and pc shut down, when i turned it back on the bongo counter is 0, my inventory ingame is empty and the cat is back to default appearence. I've restarted the app, steam, and the pc, and it's still the same. The items are still in my steam inventory. Also, whenever i hit a keystroke or a click, the cat does the animation but the counter doesn't increase, it's permanently zero. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

The counter is not working, and items are not displayed.
The app itself works, but it doesn't count clicks when the settings are set correctly. The cat itself reacts. Items in the inventory are also no longer displayed. I restarted, reinstalled, and started as an administrator, with 0 results. Please tell me what to do.

Disable the Steam Beta client, not sure what they did with it but it causes issues!
Top Left Steam -> Settings
Interface -> "Client Beta Participaction" select "No beta chosen"
