The problem with a Demon Hunter, as well as Death Knight, is that they skip the tutorial. That's why I recommend picking another class first and consider returning to them after you learn the basics.

Not strictly necessary, but I recommend going through Exile's Reach and the capital city tutorial at least once. Once you reach Kul Tiras or Zandalar, then you can consider your tutorial completed.

I strongly recommend making a new character that isn't a death knight or demon hunter, start in Exile's Reach, and then level 10-50 through BfA. You can play your death knight in the future when you're more experienced with the game

Ok so, i quit because i think the level squish actually ruined the game: nobody goes to low level area’s anymore, if you decide to quest in a area you move out of it in a few levels, you no longer go around the world in a “quest to levelcap”. Its just a fast xp grind to get to shadowlands

The leveling speed is still the same--all the numbers got squished. It's still the same amount of time and progress to level, plus you get to play through more of an expansion's content now via Chromie Time than you would have leveling before

The phase might be blocked due to another quest phase in progress--like the other order hall members and Khadgar standing on the flight platform waiting to open the Broken Shore content. Just do that first to get it out of the way and he should be there

I’ve been experiencing this for the past couple weeks where my non-instance rarity mount attempts will reset and then my Shadowlands UI will look all goofed up and I have to uninstall and reinstall that to get it back to what I want, and then other small addons will reset some settings

Too many UI addons can do this. If /reload command doesn't help fix errors, disable all of your addons and then only enable a few at a time to check for conflicts

If the spell incurs a global cooldown, you can't have the whole sequence cast with a single button. You might be looking for /castsequence

You can queue for normal BFA dungeons at level 50 and are mixed in the same pool with sub-50 people. At least if you don't own the Shadowlands expansion, but I don't think that matters.

Yep. If you queue and you are selected as healer or tank, your specialization will automatically switch to match (assuming you are damage dealer in the open world)

If you are talking about TBC Classic, people over at #tbc-wow should know more. The way I understand it, you choose to continue playing the old classic, or TBC for each of your characters. Unless you pay extra, then you can play on both at the same time. You cannot freely choose your new server: each server is copied on prepatch launch day, and one copy stays in Classic, and the other moves on to TBC.

The number of characters that you have is irrelevant. What you pay for is the ability to play both copies of your character, both on Classic servers and on TBC servers. If you had more characters, you could choose some of them to stay in Classic, and some in TBC,and you wouldn't need to pay for that privilege.
I cannot advise you much on what you should do, I don't play classic.

Classic is completely separate from Shadowlands. I suspect you never actually launched classic, in which case this whole Classic/TBC thing doesn't concern you at all.

If you don't play Classic, you don't need to worry about the Burning Crusade, at all.
That content was added to the game in 2007. You can go there today on Shadowlands. Classic is for people who want to experience this again, as if it was the highest level content.

Heroic edition gives you only 30 days, I believe. If you want to play for longer, you would need to buy it sooner or later. And I'd recommend just starting with subscription without Shadowlands, reach level 50. And then, if you like the game, get Shadowlands.

Finish your covenant campaign and hoard anima and you have a full set of 197 gear. Then hop into mythic dungeons, raids, and pvp for more gear
