The comments section on news posts was already de-emphasized too. It is automatically collapsed and the comment count no longer shows on the top of the article or on the front news pages.

would it be possible to add a list of available abilities to the new talent tree calculators? its hard to know what abilities you have baseline and whats gone just by looking at the trees

Checked a few servers, the ones using the small one (ie less preview) seem to be duplicating

This may well be a discord problem and not a wowhead one

There could be multiple webhooks with slightly different settings in that channel; if that's the case then that would explain it, although actually correlating the messages in the channel to the webhooks and then to the entries on the Wowhead side about what webhooks exist is basically impossible

(For one thing, webhooks created programmatically via the API refuse to tell you what their URL is in the Discord UI; only ones created manually will tell you, which is really annoying)

But to track it down, ideally I'd need a server that the problem is happening on, and someone who has permission to create/delete webhooks on that server, so I could work with them to see what's up

Ive gone through my whole server list and in fact a lot of them do not have this issue so its probably discord being funky

I was looking at the new elemental shaman talents and for Dragonflight, and noticed that magma chambers number was a bit off, even though i agree that 2x5 is 10, im fairly sure that, that is not how it is supposed to work as when you put 2 points in it, it goes from 0.5% to 0.10%

Idk if it’s intended to work the way it’s shown on the Hunter talent tree but when you start the talent tree as Surviavl or MM you don’t have any default talents in the class tree. Idk if that’s what’s intended by blizzard or it’s oversight. But please fix.

Is Censorship a common practice now of WoWHead? I just noticed the comments were locked instantly and any comments deleted. Can't even comment on solution or idea's to an every growing issue but will censor anything about it eh? lol... I guess this how you stay on Blizzards good side?

Slamming the door in someone's face is not toxic then what I said was also not toxic plain and simple. I guess that is sadly how things have gone just slam the door and ignore it. I guess it's better then letting people run crazy like in the game lol.

Reading through the social contract, I really don't see the issue most people seem to have with it.

The shorthand of it translates to "don't be a dick, help when you can"

The first part being pretty damn simple. The second, keeps getting blown out of proportion. "When you can" doesn't mean " you are online, you are required"
It means, when you have the energy, the patience, the time, the drive.
If I'm online enjoying doing my own thing I'm not required to do anything more then not be a dick. The rest is an encouragement to help foster a more sociable and warm community.

But, this isn't the chat tab to be babbling about it in. (Just remembered which one were in. My bad!)

It's a Discord moderation beta feature... I don't yet have a great deal of control on it, lol, but I have been monitoring when it takes actions to decide if I'm going to leave it or not. It's mostly supposed to stop abusive language directed at someone, but it's not perfect clearly.

Yes, though addons are still disabled, the Client will still send us data on quests/npcs/hotfixes.

ok. yeah i dont love it. I use swears as emphasis and it flags me half the time which is very frustrating

From experience on a medium-sized server (8k members) we just use it to filter out...extreme language, rather than traditional swears. So far it hasn't had a lot of false-positives.

Our model viewer screenshots are extracted directly from the ingame files, I agree it seems to be backwards, but that likely means that Blizzard did the fuck up and has the model weird

regarding primalists tomorrow in case anyone here wants to write something speculative - ||it it tied to a map called Grand Time Adventure. The map itself has multiple events in time/place including Nyalotha during the black empire, stormwind during the gnoll wars (based on strings), Silithus during the War of the Shifting Sands (strings), Vale of Eternal Blossoms during the Pandaren Revolution (strings), Onyxia's Lair (unknown time period) and Dragonblight but Murloc-ified (alternate timeline maybe). Theres also something to note about the bronze dragon area in that map.||

||in the most recent version of dragonflight, the bronze drake area is totally different, now covered in ice and spiny stone structures - implying that something happens to it either after we initially visit it or before we start the Grand Time Adventure||

||why is theoretical, but one theory i like is that Nozdormu sacrifices himself to prevent it, thereby becoming Murozond, and Primalists tomorrow is sorta like a roguelike, visit the past to stop the infinite flight from doing bad stuff||
