Progress is different for different people. There's no absolute way through the game. Just ways to get through content you want.

A friend wants to play and is trying the game for free right now. His account is older, but not old enough to be able to use chromie time.

When he tried a DK, the DK ws able to use the board in SW to choose from a few different time periods to start quests in, like Legion.

But his Horde Mage can't seem to use the board. It says "there is nothing interesting posted here right now."

is this a script issue, or can free players really not use the board, except hero classes for some reason?

I'd recommend comparing your playstyle to what's recommended on your class and spec's guide on wowhead, and then at the bare minimum at least using the ingame Adventure Guide to look over mechanics for the content you want to run--it even has sections in each boss explaining mechanics that each role needs to be aware of, when applicable

Not sure what you mean by "guarantee failure." If you join the random queue you join a random group for any available dungeon from that queue. If you queue for a specific dungeon you'll join a random group for that specific dungeon

Pricing depends or your regions currency and sub length month to month/3 month/6 month all have different pricing. Classic doesnā€™t have WoW tokens so you canā€™t buy WoW time with gold on classic.

In order to start playing you can make a trial account for free which caps you at level 20 or just paying the sub price which gets you everything up to 60 without any dragonflight content. If you want DF content you have to buy the expansion AND sub. No point of owning DF until 60.

After you make your character you'll be around 10/11 when you finish the Exile's Reach starting tutorial zone. Do I have to loot it again in the Champion/Hero rank (in higher mythic dungeons) to go further or there is some trick to "upgrade it" in the next rank (for example, getting a random new ring in champ/hero) ?

@high oxide If you have your Warswords in their power-up station (can't remember what it's called for warrior) a second tab should show you all the available colors/designs for your weapons. Clicking on each color square should tell you at the bottom of the tab what you need to accomplish to get that color. If it's an achievement name, search it up on Wowhead

Some people will do it for free to get the first craft bonus or the weekly consortium quest. But it isn't always free there is the ability to provide a commission, if you don 't provide one your stuff might not get made. No one forces crafters to do it.

If you like melee being Stealth and strike behind enemies and aoe them with the black barrel powder (how it is called) choose rogue! Also with shadow dance talent you can use your stealth abilities while you are not stealthed

generally it's either an issue where the windows version of it has got corrupted, or wow itself has a corrupted cache

Balance isnā€™t a very complex spec but it does have alot of buttons due ti multiple forms and alot of cc, healing spells and utility
Warlocks have slightly less buttons on average

If you do your key and time it you get a new key for a random dungeon but higher if you fail the key your key dungeon stays the same but the level drops

Almost every town (large enough to be a quest hub) should have a flight point. That's part of exploring is that you gather flight points as you go. Some folks will corpse-run themselves from flight point to flight point, THEN do quests. Not saying you have to do that, but it's an option

Hey guys I got a couple of questions for you all. Am new to world of Warcraft and a casual player. First of all I'd like to ask if horde and alliance share the same auction house. Second how to choose and realm and what are the pros and cons of choosing a full realm instead of an empty. Lastly I play outlaw rogue,(this information might be irrelevant) I have the option to choose between fist weapons, daggers, swords, axes. Is it just a visual difference or is there an actually impact on stats (assuming it's all the same ilvl) like a dagger gives more attack speed and critic that a sword? Horde and Alliance share the same auction house yes
high realms dont have much of a downside as queues are usually non existent and "full" doesnt mean you cant play on that server, it just means its higher pop
low pops have less guilds, less people using the ah so you're somewhat limited with who u can be in guilds with and the activity/supply of items the ah
the type of weapon used as outlaw has very little impact as main stat which for rogue is Agility is the most important

Awesome thanks guys! I just wanna ask, what's the actual difference between weapons in general. Like do swords have more damage than daggers but daggers have more crit? Like why not use just swords or fist weapons. Also increasing critical is basically increasing the chance to proc? Can you get 100% of the more you stack the less value to has?

secondary stats will vary on items
daggers have a faster auto attack speed but lower base damage to compensate, compared to main hands like swords
increasing your crit is the chance of it happening yes, tho for some specs their level of crit effects more than just that

and there are stat breakpoints for most specs, where gaining more of that stat has diminishing returns and therefore less value

#

however until you're max level and very well geared thats not an issue
