1. Vulgar, obscene, inappropriate, offensive, or NSFW material will be deleted immediately and the user responsible will be punished accordingly.
• This includes, but is not limited to: Sexist, homophobic comments, racial slurs, political discourse, harassment, threats of any kind or otherwise offensive material.
• Please note that shaming, bad mouthing, or expressing dislike of a user on our forums or Discord falls under harassment and will not be tolerated.
2. Any links to or discussion of RMT power-leveling services, RMT boosting, exploits, private servers, gold selling, or any activity that goes against Blizzard's Terms of Use or License Agreement is not allowed in any fashion.
• Breaking this rule will result in the offending post being deleted, and the poster may be banned.
• While non-RMT services, like boosting, may be discussed; links to such services are not permitted.
3. Advertising is not permitted unless you have obtained administrator approval to post. To do this, please contact feedback@wowhead.com or @iron pagoda
• This includes, but is not limited to: Discord Servers, marketing or academic surveys, websites, personal content promotion (Youtube, Twitch.TV, FB Gaming) or otherwise similar material. (Exception: Discord servers can be advertised with a guild recruitment message in the appropriate channels.)
4. This Discord server, just like the site, is English only.
• The exception to this rule is the respective Non-English channels, Guild Recruitment channels and #wowhead-feedback-support.
5. Be mindful of channels and their uses.
• Pay attention to the channels and use them for their appropriate purpose; try to stick to World of Warcraft related chat outside of #no-wow-discussion
6. If you feel someone has not followed the Discord rules, report them appropriately by pinging <@&299347348847329281>
• Similarly, do not abuse the ability to ping Staff or <@&299347348847329281>'s simply because you dislike/disagree with a user.
7. You will receive occasional @ everyone pings in this server.
• Adjust your notification settings accordingly and/or opt out of some channels via #roles -- DO NOT add inappropriate emojis, spam other channels with ping rage images/gifs/videos, or complain to staff about these pings or you may be banned. This is Wowhead's server and we have every right to ping the server with content we wish to share on a mass scale. Use the Discord tools accordingly to lessen the frequency of pings if you find them to be unpleasant.
Breaking these rules will result in warnings, mutes, suspensions, bans, or any other action deemed necessary by Staff and Moderators.
