Late to the topic but I recently recommended one of them race chairs for the bf. (A limb of the star base snapped apart on his last chair.) I had one of the chairs I recommended to him for 2 years before moving. Never had an issue with it.

Also the star base is super dense metal.

Don't recommend the lumbar pillow tho. Caused both of us almost instant lower back pain.

Depends per person. Every person is build different, sits different, for different durations at a time etc. For some those work, for others a racing type works, for others a regular crair or even one of those inflatable balls works.

For a good chair? Go to showrooms. Try different types. Find what suits your body etc. Then try different brands and models of that tyoe that fits you. Everyone is different so listn to your own body. Think in what your back needs in the long run. A chair that is so soft you sink into it could feel comfy in the short run but think of how long the sessions you sit in it last and wether it will still be comfy and good for your back after that.
Try that and find the chair thats best for you. Its your body. Listn to that instead of fancy advertising descriptions or looks or blindly following recomendations of others. You can use revieuws etc to see oppinions of users to find out if its durable and same firmness etc after being in use for a while

when i picture centaurs - they have their heart and lungs in the human half, and then a big stomach and everything else in the horse half

mainly because an animal that big needs lungs bigger than a horse

and a heart bigger than a horse

which would take up most of the human part of the body

it would also need more food - hence a bigger stomach and digestive system

and pregnancy would require more space as well

so shifting the heart and lungs to the human half leaves more room for that
