It brings up a good point because I was trying to get a "chill laidback" voice but then it affected the heavier style song. In other words, Suno is not any good with contrasts. But yeah, for me, it is hard not to end up with a nerdy sounding fem-boy.
Question / suggestion: How are we supposed to size the cover photo for our profiles? It says 1280x740 but it always zooms to a different aspect ratio... No matter what I upload, it seems to always get it wrong, overly zoomed, etc. Is there any clear guideline on what actually gets uploaded and how to get the image to show up as intended, without cropping the outside so much?
Try this 1080 x 1920.
I use this for my SUNO Poster.
I'll try!
It's for a Music Track poster.
Are you asking for a profile page cover!
Which is located on the top?
For Cover use 1920 x 1080 px
And keep the contents in the centre.
Because it's rendered as cover so zoom a little bit.
It uses a 5:4 aspect ratio for cover.
The width is (1200 x 960 px)
Yes I was asking about the profile background image , like what's at the top. The dimensions they give don't seem correct, or there's some resizing happening by default which is very annoying lol always cuts out everything regardless of what I upload and you can't really zoom out or move it appropriately
The width is 1200 px fix but the height is 960 px fix for cover. Imagine a square size with the aspect ratio of 5:4. so you have to place your content in the center of the height. Or little above the centre so it can display correctly when the screen size changes.
Yeah it's not fixed size. It changes according to the screen size.
Check your dm for my template.
My issue is the lack of a "style summary" under "song details" when I have remastered a track or covered another track or remixed a track.
This is really annoying can we please keep a style summary for ALL tracks regardless of how we created them? please?
It's making our profiles look messy when there is a wall of style prompts instead of a clean few words so people can see at a glance what kind of sound/genre the track is.
Gifting for another suno user option ... wouldbe great .. 2 good people missing out ,, but other good people was willing to help out but ,, to much of a risk to leave details in their accounts
this stinks. default should be to show full art when sharing links
Hi,
Love the platform and it has evolved tremendously since I joined in June. I am sure I probably missed the conversation on a few of the questions I have listed below.
1.) Will the "Workspace" feature eventually have a filter option to organize the various workspace categorizes between recent, old, track count, A-Z, Z-A, etc?
2.) Are we able to add collaborators to a specific "Workspace" and edit/remix tracks in the workspace? If so,
3.) Will there be a private/public DM or chat function within the Workspace?
Thank you,
Is there an option in Suno Playlist to choose "shuffle"? If not, I would like to suggest that you consider that option as an improvement/update. Thank you.
Can we add a would you like to delete this song please on pressing the delete button
Songs will go to the trash bin upon being deleted, you can then permanently delete them from there or recover them
On the web interface in the playlist section
We need stable bps!!!!!!!!!
When entering lyrics, I'd love to be able to use some sort of phonetic notation, like IPA. There's always that one word that's mispronounced, no matter how hard you try to get around it. It'd also help when you're mixing languages, or trying to achieve a particular dialect, or get the accent in just the right place to match the song's meter. Maybe a new markup symbol, like [[ˈdʌbᵊl ˈbrækɪts]], so it can be embedded in otherwise plaintext lyrics where needed?
Hello Suno! Thank you for such a great platform 🙏
Can we add a tab for “Workspaces” in the Library? I’m currently using Workspaces as my main organizing method and I a Workspaces tab next to Playlists at the top of the Library would be an easy add, hopefully? 🤞 🙏
Would the community benefit from a separate Discord channel for Studio bugs/layouts/suggestions ?
Hey there! We have this here: #1420792719969878028
There are few dedicated threads that cover different things! Thanks for reaching out about this!
Note when sharing an album, please direct the listener to not use the app that Suno has developed instead tell them to go onto a computer or figure out how to use different various browsers on there phone or tablets or iPad in order to listen to it
Don't know which update got rid of it, but i liked being able to type in page numbers in the library by clicking on the page number and typing it in. Wouldn't mind getting it brought back.
Free remaster, from v3.5 to v4.5-all
Remaster either should have options for pro: v4, v4.5, v4.5-all, v4.5+, v5
Workspaces used to be sorted by modification time, which was convenient, since the most recent workspaces were at the top. Now they're sorted by creation date, and that makes coming back to older projects a pain, since you have to scroll way down every time you need that workspace. Can the old behavior be restored, please, or an preference added to the settings so users can pick the behavior that works best for them?
Please add Repeat song option on mobile, so we can just listen to the same song on repeat 🔂 till we get sick of it 😂
Vocal presets verses having personas, so that people can directly pick the voice to use instead of hoping and praying for a generations that fits the creative vision
Basic Plan - $10 (3000 credits)
Premiere Plan - $30 (10000 credits)
Pro Plan - $50 (25000 credits)
Why wouldn't somebody just create a second account instead of paying $30 for 4000 credits? Please don't force us to divide our accounts. We want all of our work in one location.
the current new songs section is misleading now, it's not really fresh new songs but they are already out for several days. Please bring back the previous new songs section coz it's the fresh new songs. Thanks.
it's called paying extra for convenience (ie: having all your songs in one place). a lot of companies employ this tactic
Feedback: Studio Usability on MacBook
I’ve been testing the new Suno Studio on a MacBook, and while it shows strong creative potential, some essential usability issues are making it difficult to work efficiently. These points reflect fundamental expectations for any digital audio workspace or creative tool.
-
Playback & Playhead Positioning
When pausing playback, the playhead does not remain where it’s stopped — it resets to the starting point. This behaviour also occurs when using the space bar.
This makes it frustrating to line up, compare, or edit specific musical moments. It forces repeated scrubbing back and forth, interrupting creative flow and wasting time. A playhead that pauses exactly where playback is stopped is essential for timing work and precise mixing. -
Timing & Grid Lock
The studio currently snaps too rigidly into grid units. This can cause sections to play back unevenly or misalign when trying to piece together two different musical ideas or segments. A “free play” mode or more flexible grid snapping would help users manage phrasing, transitions, and tempo shifts smoothly. -
Section Replacement / Remixing Behaviour
When replacing or remixing a short section (e.g., 8 seconds), the system tends to regenerate an entire 2–3 minute track. This makes it hard to refine specific lyrics or melodies efficiently. It would be helpful if the tool recognised when a user is editing within an existing section and generated only that portion — saving time and keeping the edit relevant.
Summary
The studio has strong creative promise, but usability basics — particularly playhead control and precise segment editing — need attention for it to function as a true digital studio. Once these are refined, it could genuinely become a powerful music-building space rather than a novelty generator.
This has been tried on both safari and chrome.
Can you guys show what levels we pick on the sliders when we make covers? Like above where the style description goes?
I tried to change my banner profile, knowing it would like a wide picture, so i made this 1280*300
But when i try to put it is, Suno seems to want to zoom into it even more? Its like Suno did not expect a wide picture, and dont know what to do with it? Of couse, it may just be me, just seem off for me it tries that
You can put any size there. I put 3072x2048 and it cropped it for me. Just be aware that the banner is heavily cropped on the web and on mobile, so don't rely on things to show up in the picture for the user, except in the very middle of the banner.
I would also suggest the Suno team to change the instructions. The resulting WebP image seems to be 1200x960, while the instructions read 1280x740 max.
However, it's not really the max. I put 3072x2048 and it accepted it fine and cropped it and downscaled it for me.
But in any case the minimum height for the uploaded picture should be 960px and width 1200px.
And if you want it not to be cropped, you probably should use 1.25 aspect ratio.
Let us pin and heart comments!
Even if I don't respond to a comment, I want them to know I saw and appreciated their words! <3 💙
you can heart comments
I mean one that shows, sort of like how YT has likes and hearts
I think it would be awesome if we could make written bios on our profile.
Dear Suno Team,
Current Situation:
I understand that under your current Terms of Service:
- Free tier users can only use generated content for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Pro/Premier subscribers receive full commercial rights to content created during their subscription
- Rights are determined by the tier active at the time of content creation
Proposed Feature:
I would like to request the implementation of a retroactive commercial rights purchase option that would allow users to acquire commercial rights for songs generated during their free tier usage.
Why This Would Be Valuable
For Users:
- Many users discover high-quality results unexpectedly during free tier experimentation
- Users may not know if content will have commercial value until after creation
- Provides flexibility for those testing the platform before committing to subscriptions
- Reduces friction in the user journey from exploration to monetization
For Suno: - Creates an additional revenue stream from free tier users
- Converts satisfied free users into paying customers incrementally
- Encourages more experimentation on the free tier (knowing rights can be purchased later)
- Competitive advantage over platforms with rigid tier structures
- Reduces support requests from users seeking exceptions
In my situation, I created several songs on the free tier while evaluating Suno. Some exceeded my expectations and could be valuable for commercial projects. Rather than recreating them with a subscription (which may not yield identical results due to the nature of AI generation), I would gladly pay for the rights to these specific tracks.
Thanks!
Suggested Implementation
This could work through a flexible, tiered pricing model that reflects the actual value and intended use of each track:
Pricing Tiers Based on Track Value
- Popularity-Based Pricing
-- Basic tier: Tracks with 0-100 likes ($5-10)
-- Popular tier: Tracks with 100-1,000 likes ($15-25)
-- Viral tier: Tracks with 1,000+ likes ($30-50)
Rationale: Market-validated quality deserves higher valuation - Attribution Options
-- With Attribution: Lower price, requires "Music by Suno" credit ($5-20)
-- Without Attribution: Higher price, no mention required ($15-40)
Rationale: Brand visibility has value; users pay premium for full white-labeling - Usage-Based Licensing
-- Personal/Small Business: YouTube, social media, podcasts ($10-20)
-- Professional: Streaming platforms, commercial projects ($25-50)
-- Sync Licensing: Film, TV, advertising ($50-150)
Rationale: Different use cases generate different revenue potential - License Duration
-- Time-Limited: 1-year commercial rights ($10-25)
-- Perpetual: Unlimited duration ($20-60)
Rationale: Flexibility for short-term projects vs long-term assets - Revenue Sharing Model (for Enterprise/High-Value Projects)
-- User pays lower upfront fee ($5-10)
-- Suno receives 5-15% of commercial revenue
-- Self-reported or integrated with major platforms
Rationale: Makes premium content accessible while creating long-term value
Combination Packages
Users could combine options, e.g.:
- Popular track + No attribution + Perpetual license = $60
- Basic track + With attribution + 1-year YouTube = $8
Business Model Precedent:
Similar models exist successfully in other creative AI platforms:
- Stock image sites offer single-image commercial licenses
- Some AI art platforms allow license upgrades post-creation
- Music licensing platforms offer flexible per-track licensing
i think with lower prices it would get more buyers
not everyone likes paying a lot
everyone likes paying the least though
100 people see $50 = no too much
100 people see $10 = might as well, let me buy more
Sorry, I'm not quite sure how Discord works. If you responded to me, I was just slapping together the prices out of thin air as an example. Of course, the marketing department should be the one calculating everything.
it's not greed to ask for it to work or at least an effort to resolve an issue in a timely manner. if it was a nickel a month it's still a bad deal if you can't use it or are plagued by bug - I been looking around, this is not the only platform on the planet -
or you could focus on fixing it. they can't handle what they got, why dump more in their lap.
For anyone who didn’t realize like me, there is a way to add a bio on the desktop version. 💕
Another idea, I would love the option to add both a cover photo (for sharing) and a background photo/video (because of the different dimensions)
Feature Suggestion: Add a Sound Effects (SFX) Option to Advanced Settings
I’d like to suggest adding a Sound Effects (SFX) option within the advanced settings of Suno. This feature would allow users to insert timestamps and specify the desired sound effects directly within the platform.
I’ve experimented extensively with different methods to incorporate SFX—both through prompts and community suggestions—but none have produced consistent or usable results. Having a built-in SFX option would be an incredible improvement, saving creators significant time compared to manually adding effects later in external programs like Audacity or other DAWs.
This feature would greatly expand creative possibilities, making Suno even more powerful for music producers, storytellers, and content creators.

An Option in User Profiles to Create a Radio Station Based On All the User's Music. 📻👤
(It Could Be a Way to Discover Their Songs and Find Similar Music or Users) -
In User Profiles, There Should Be an Option to View All the Songs You’ve Liked From That User. 👍👤
(It Makes It Easier to Find Those Favorite Tracks Again)
Consider allowing listeners to donate to composers for the music they enjoy by transferring funds from their Suno account to the composer's Suno account using the donation button in the composition's properties and selecting the donation amount. It's best to start with the smallest amounts, down to a cent (perhaps as little as 5 cents), as listeners may enjoy many pieces of music throughout the day to varying degrees, and donating amounts greater than 5 cents can be expensive. It's also important to show the total amount of donations already received for a given composition from other users, so as not to contribute to already heavily donated music, but to support composers who have received fewer donations.
Accordingly, allow users to top up their accounts with arbitrary amounts.
If such a system is implemented, two marketing strategies could be implemented:
- Aggressive – allowing only paid users (those with a subscription) to accept donations.
- But I recommend a friendly approach—one where users of any account can accept donations, and then the funds accumulated from donations can be used to pay for subscriptions.
So. I am forwarding this post to "layout" suggestions, to further suggest that this suggestion, as well as the inception-suggestion, both belong in a much needed additional channel to the server for server related suggestions. please & thanks. should i ping someone? idfk. <@&1082792303976001547> i am sorry to bother you guys again. i am just unsure if this is anything i should address to you guys directly. thanks for your work, guys! cheers!

I don't like the fact that you don't have active support on web or discord. Only via mail and it's taking a week of waiting for a response.
Right now I have a problem that seems nobody else on general chat has and I'm getting out of my mind slowly.
I suggest adding support chat
you can get general support from any of the active users here in channels like #📚┃suno-school, #🗣️┃chill-chat or #💬┃general-chat. There's no need for another channel.
For account related stuff, that won't be handled via discord for security reasons.
I don't think my problem is account problem, I tried logging in to different account without subscription and problem is the same.
After logging in on windows web nothing is loading.
I asked about it on general chat and didn't get any info about my problem because other users don't have it.
I deleted my browser data, relogged 3 times, did hard refreshes and problem still exist.
On mobile web it's working fine but I can't work on mobile efficiently.
I asked on Polish global chat but didn't got response from users if it's regional problem.
For mail support I will wait probably long time.
I personally think support chat would be good for personal problems and advisory, or at least some feedback to users problems
the community does its best, but things do get lost. adding a channel like #need-help or #1252236696968364043-support or like #ask-for-help, people can ask things there, but make it more clear that ticket support is for billing & account issues that require the actual suno team, & the help channel is just users helpin' ya.
anyhoo, the answer to your problem:
likely all you gotta do is clear all the cookies & site data & log back in. try it
I did it 3 times
oof.
@slate flame let's go to #🗣️┃chill-chat to not flood this channel so much. i'll try to help
We use also the app to listen to the songs created to find out which are the best ones. But one cannot see if one marked a song with like unless you dive from the library into the next level.
Thus, it would be useful and easy to implement a tiny colored frame (green for example) around the icons of the songs you liked already so you can see this when you are in the upper level of the library.
Remaster is a feature avaible only for Pro users and higher.
could we get formatting to allow rounds or corresponding chorus where 2 different parts are being sang at the same time
I know this was a somewhat old question, but I thought it was interesting. @errant dome should have posted in another channel too.
These are no longer the accurate numbers, it seems.
Pro is 2500 credits and the $10 options (heaper than Premiere).
The Free plan is free, but has a daily limit (50 credits), rather than the monthly you pay for. That's about 1500 credits/month, but rather inflexible when you get into it. Technically, you may have those free credits also when you spent all subscription credits.
Why wouldn't somebody just create a second account
First reason is that it's not allowed by the terms:
"You may not create more than one account to benefit from the free tier of the Service."
Second, free plan limits what you can do with your songs.
instead of paying $30 for 4000 credits?
It's not possible to buy extra credits on Free, they want you to have the subscription instead.
Maybe what you meant was "I have one Pro account, but 2500 isn't enough. Should I upgrade for another $20 or start another Pro account for $10?" If that's the case, I agree that the "top up" is even more expensive, and I don't know if starting another Pro account is against the rules. But apart from the benefit of having only one account to worry about, the difference of a one-time-payment vs. a monthly one is obvious. So I think you get a discount when you subscribe.
Even worse if you have a Prem account, but if you in case you've hit that ceiling, you spent quite a lot of credits in one month.
They were never "accurate numbers". That's why I put it in Feedback and Suggestions.
Rules #1 of internet commerce is to get someone's credit card numbers. By any legal means necessary.
Once you have their credit card on file there are two things that happen:
-
They forget they subscribed. This unintentional transaction(s) is massive! People forget these kinds of things. It translates into hundreds of billions of dollars, globally, each year.
-
They are only one click away from an appealing and encouraging advert (Hello Black Friday, my old friend).
So by getting that first credit card interaction you're already a success. Even if it's $1 for three months of service, you win in the long run. Bait and hook.
In order to encourage and motivate that first interaction, you need value.
Now revert back to my original post. The "value" in Suno is terrible. Where is the upsell?!
This is SO much lost revenue!
Anyway, there was more to my post than meets the eye.
They were never "accurate numbers". That's why I put it in Feedback and Suggestions.
Thanks for clarifying, it wasn't very clear. This is the layout suggestion thread, so we're still off topic and I'll leave it after this post.
Rules #1 of internet commerce is to get someone's credit card numbers. By any legal means necessary.
My assumption is that Suno is a tech company first, but that they did rather well in terms of attracting customers.
The "value" in Suno is terrible. Where is the upsell?!
Well, I subscribed, so they did something right. It may be quite fragile, as other services may appear with a better working product, but if I look at myself and see how much I'm willing to struggle with a rather bad output, they at least foster some sense of loyalty.
If your suggestion was to make it a rip-off, I'm sure we'll see prices raised, but making Pro more expensive (because most wouldn't notice) than Premiere is sinister. Maybe you should look at a mobile game instead, if you want to burn money.
(facepalm)
What dimensions should be used for the cover art. When I upload my art part of the image is cut off
The small bar at the bottom of the image can be used to scale it
Thank you Suno! for giving us a "style summary" on our covers and remastered tracks etc it was needed
😀
I made a quick 10-second video showing a working concept to clean up the layout and improve the overall experience when using Suno on a laptop.
All features and functions remain available, just arranged more efficiently than the current design.
Would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for improvement!
In Song Editor Beta can you make the Replace from 01:11:11 - 02:22:22 fields editable? would be super fast and you could probably just async it to the timeline object / selection. In this case I would just click 3:48 and make it 3:45. Thanks Devs!!
Wow
So whats the deal with uploading a profile background image? I'm trying to upload an image, with the correct size, but no matter what I do it just keeps zooming in so the vital parts of the image doesn't show...
Yes it is a real pain. Cool pic btw
If you have photoshop or another editing program like that start with a square 1200x960px and place your image in the center and up a little bit
It's a bit of trial and error to get the image to display and you might have to shrink your image or crop it? idk
Your issue with cover is solved!
I got there in the end, but not completely happy with the quality lol 😊
That's good. Happy for you 🎊
Would love to see a Featured Playlist option for my own suno page just like the one for featured songs🙂 like if I have one I really want to single out🧐
Noticed you can input apostrophe ', make sure your doing sql injection attack prevention.
Can we have a simple trash wastebasket? And a way to empty it? Or restore single items, if necessary?
agree, I don't think workspaces makes it much easier to organize your work. Basically, you have one Library and Workspaces that slice it up. But all we really need is hierarchical folders, like every file storage system we use has.
Thank you 😊 Got it to look decent at least
Looks Good!
Two comments:
- it should be nice to have a way to reorganized easily the featured songs of the profile,
- and a lyrics translation should be nice too ! 🌍🌎 I like the fact I can like songs from different languages. But it’s a pain in the *** to check every time outside Suno if the lyrics is not a problem for me.
If I do this for much longer, going to want Parent Category folders. Simple Parent/Child structure for the devs.
Parent: Instrumental > Rock, or Instrumental > Classical, or Instrumental > Dance etc. 2 to 3 levels might be enough, but probably code it not to matter.
Personas > Drums; Personas > Guitars; Personas > Bass.
We need LOTS more folder organization. Please do some Sprint planning around this. Thank you!!
Personas > Drums > Cymbals. we need depth. very important.
Why was the track time removed from the mobile web player? Terrible decision, I do not understand
Doesn’t look like it for me, then Again I generate via web but listen via app
When Remastered Tracks appear, if we could please see the Remaster level at a glance.
Could be (Remastered -S), (Remastered -N), (Remastered -H) depending on the level used to remaster the track (Subtle, Normal, High).
It looks better, but you can't see the track duration before it plays, which was visible in the previous layout. Please change this.
Increasing character limit for the song description to 15k+
Also, maybe image embeds? With the same moderation as song covers of course
Fix the music player in the middle section. In the beginning it's over lapping on the left and right side bar. Now you fixed the left side but still it's overlapping on the right side bar which contains music information and lyrics. Keep the music player in the center.
I noticed that it's only for the "thumbnail", in the song page the original (or at least not the cut I chose) image is shown.
I agree, I did the rename myself. I was going to say that at least it did show in the song page/preview pane, but I don't see it now. Did they remove it or did I dream that part?
Please change the Persona feature to be called style template or something descriptive. I thought it was to copy the style of the VOCALIST's voice for use in other generations, but it just copies the entire style prompt of that particular song, including the music promptings, so calling it persona is incredibly misleading.
It would be awesome to just have the singer as a persona.
I often use personas with alternative styles and it gives me some interesting results but really I just want the singer.
☺️
At least folder nesting..
/chirp
Would like to be able to access workspaces from the library or add it as a filter option.
day 1 of asking for a shuffle button on playlists
On ipad pro, the IOS interface look ridiculous small... Honestly, have you ever tried it? Can't even read the title... kind of Useless. Before adding more feature or plateform, try to make one very well, instead of buggy features which are there but not well working or not at all, a web system which is down right now (again), and an IOS application which is not better...
@azure owl I'll answer #🪲┃bugs-web message here instead, more of UI than bug.
- Moving song to trash should not show a red popup for success. I get the warning, but it should not be red, if easy to get yellow or green instead. The undo might be useful, but scary that it has a time out if you wanted to press it, also teach the user that all trash is available at any time.
Let's see if I find some more to add later.
it's a negative action (deleting something), so I don't think red/orange is the wrong choice here
because of its vibrancy it stands out more too, which is also useful when throwing stuff in the trash
Sure, I might be wrong, but in this case I selected delete myself, so getting an "error popup" is counterintitive. Light green (as the final message on video download) would be as vibrant, and the popup should be attention grabbing enough, if you didn't mean to delete. If you start getting used to the red popup being "OK", you'll ignore it and miss the time when the message actually is "failed to delete" or whatever.
Would love to have a dynamic playlist added that is sorted by most played, most liked, … that way one can more easily create a best of playlist or collection.
using green or yellow makes it hard to read for certain color blindness’s, red is less susceptible to that, though orange or amber would be best with white text and an icon.
If the songs used in the earn credits - are actually pushed songs - adding the link chain like the radio would be nice - there's been some that have been really good.
far too big, the little tiny seek bar button hard to grab with the moues. basically this is 80 percent wasted space. imho : )
Add “Uruguayan Plena” as a supported style
This is a rhythm from Uruguay with specific percussion: zurdo on beats 1 and 3 (“a tierra”), tambor piano steady base, repique calls, reversed cowbell pattern, and a specific hi-hat charleston. Current Suno outputs tend to resemble salsa or folkloric rhythms, not plena.
I can provide audio examples if needed.
When not a paid user the negative style prompts option should be hidden as it cannot be used by free users.
Can I please have back the opportunity to fit in cover art Suno? When designing yourself it does not always fit the frame. This is not artist friendly.
Hi Suno team ❤️
Could you please add a simple but super useful filter in the Library called New Songs (or Unread / New) that automatically shows only the songs that still have the pink new circle?
Right now every time I generate a bunch of tracks the pink dot is the only way to know which ones I haven’t listened to yet. As soon as I play one the dot disappears and it gets mixed with everything else. When I generate 20 to 50 songs in a session it becomes really hard to find the ones I haven’t heard.
Having a dedicated New Songs filter or tab that automatically clears once every song in it has been played at least once would make the workflow so much smoother and help us discover the best versions without losing track.
Bonus points if it could
stay at the top of the filter list
show a little counter like 12 new
auto remove songs from the list after playback just like the pink dot does now
This small addition would be a huge quality of life improvement for heavy users and daily creators.
Thank you for considering it you’re building something magical!
Hi everyone! I have a quick feedback regarding the library search. 🎵
Currently, we can only find our songs if we type words that appear in the Title. However, I often remember the lyrics or the specific genre rather than the name I gave the track.
Since the system already handles all this data, could we please get a search update that includes Lyrics and Genres?
I’ve been a user for years, and I’m actually surprised this hasn't been solved in older updates yet, as it feels like a fundamental feature for navigating our libraries.
Thanks for listening!
(1) Add multi delete so I can delete 15 songs at once.
(2) Add a listening section in the community for “Artists” who own their songs because they write their own lyrics and often the lyrics + melody (and registered it with a PRO/distributor) before creating a derivative work on Suno 🙂
Image selection in Song Details needs to include previous image historybecause I may find that the best image was 2 generations ago, and I have no way to get back to it. This is especially relevant with videos that cost 100 credits. It shows two versions, but if you find you are going down the wrong track with the images, you can't go back to the prior attempts.
Was #1 ever resolved? I'm running into this issue now : (
I’d like to see a blue note🎵 for verified accounts. The platform is full of “bot” esk accounts. It’s hard to identify real people.
I think that all Premier accounts should be given a verified blue note. Because of the cost of a premier account, more than likely those are real people. But I've also seen on X where scammers had a legitimate blue verified icon on several accounts. How they get that I don't know. So I guess even if Suno had verified accounts, they could always be circumvented somehow. Maybe the new changes will cut down on that.
Can we get an Album category? Would love to release albums.
Yeah, I'd love to see that in workspaces where we could start a workspace for our album, then a sub-workspaces for each song. Would keep things more organized. I'm currently working on my album and your suggestion is one I too would find useful.
💯 We desparately NEED a way to bulk send clips and songs to the trash bin and an empty trash bin feature. 💯 I just got done working on a song in Suno Studio and had a ton of clips and things to delete. I went into my library and had to delete every one. Then into the trash bin and click TWICE to delete permanently each one. I rather delete everything I'm not publishing as soon as I'm done so to keep things organized.
After splitting to stems, instead of having just "Detected Stems", have ALL stems shown and then auto checkbox the detected ones. Then let us choose any other stems that were not detected (checked) and when downloading all (I prever Wav+MIDI), have all checked stems (including any you added to the checked stems) download. There have been times when the FX stems were not included but contained information that could be used in the song.
when looking at songs, the 'see more' looks like it belongs to the above section, but actually its for the below section....so i click it and am confsued im lookingg at albums
I was coming here to say the same thing.
Please guys let us resize our images to fit!! 😳
- You can do that already from Library (and I think in Create/Workspaces). Select the first song, then hold Shift and select the last song. It's not super-visible in the list, but several songs are now selected (a bit grey). If the songs are not in a block like that, you can Ctrl-click selected tracks to unselect them, or on additional tracks you want selected. Now the magic part is that when you take the option "Move to trash" on any of the selecte tracks they will all go the same way. It also works with "move to workspace" and playlist by the way.
- Do you mean somewhere in the Discord? Where to share songs not created with Suno? Like a "before vs. after" post or just another platform where to get attention to your songs? Neither use seems highly relevant, but if enough ppl want it I'm sure it could be allowed by mods. It's not a Suno UI suggestion however.
I support your suggestions, but here are some possible workarounds:
workspacea albums: #1420796236872814612 message
multidelete songs: #🚧┃suggestions-layout message
I think the "detected" idea is that any stem that is "silence only" is deleted - no need to store them on the server nor to show them. How do you know there were useful audio in the stem that was not available to you? Were you able to download it anyway somehow? Or did you just wish that the FX from the source were properly extracted? I'd assume that it was included in another stem, not lost. So would you say the current UI was fine enough with these assumptions? If they need to fix the "silence detector" or make a better "FX stem extractor", that's another thing.
Do you guys make Brazilian Phonk? Not getting it no matter what prompt I put in
I'm sure people have asked for a separate section for albums and playlists, also the ability to organize the albums or playlist how we want the visitors to see them in our profile by default, and an option for them to sort album by date or popularity aside from the user's default ordering...if not, I am asking for it.
when we follow someone we should be able to decide what notifications we get...published music, liked songs, comments, each separately enabled...and only publish music enabled by default....if I recall in my five weeks on site, notifications seemed to have been only a working feature for 3 weeks or so...so I is the fine tuning coming on this....I pretty much don't follow people due to the lack of it functioning like i think it should.
This is a suggestion regarding language-specific translations.
In the iOS app and on the web, the term “play” is currently translated into Japanese as “遊ぶ,” which tends to convey the nuance of “playing a game.”
For media actions such as music or video, I believe that “再生” (“play” in the sense of playback) would be a more natural and intuitive translation.
I would appreciate it if you could consider this suggestion.
What prompts are you using? Personally never heard of it before, but ran with 'baile funk, Brazilian funk, Funk carioca'. Can't leave song links on here. I'll pm you a couple of tries.
Use Moises ai to highly enhance your ai song
suggestion: plug in a lyric translator so that everyone can understand (more or less) what the song is. Youtube and LinkedIn do it, so it can't be that difficult. Suno is missing much larger audiences for your songs, just because of simple language barriers.
Hello. I saw that library layout changed. I use web version with screenreader. Now the interface is a mess. Before it was easier because there was a nice table really easy to navigate. Now find my songs is a torture! Please restore the old version or give me some hints how manage this annoying situation.
omg thank god i'm not the only one! i just reported the issue myself. however i found out that if you delete the v2 in the url, the interface goes back to normal
#ScreenReaderSupport let's goooo! :3
Oooooh thank you so much! It worked!
Not sure if this has been brought up or if this is even the right space to suggest this but it would be nice for the "Inspo" when you select it, it give you 4 songs from that playlist, the 4 songs have "X's" on them to remove a single song from the 4 but no way of replacing that song so now it based on 3. What would be nice is to be able to replace that removed song with another from that playlist by clicking something that would add the song OR better yet just let me pick the 4 songs from that playlist. Just a thought.
My suggestion is to add the possibility to add a banner on your profile on mobile! The standard banner never matches my profile picture
I bought annual premier plan, and they charged my card twice. How can we contact with suno support, there is no support ticket system. They are not responding to my emails.
use suno.com/me instead of the other link I forgot what it was
it'll probably get removed soon
create a playlist w/ 4 songs for the purpose using it as inspo
I mistakenly selected a yearly plan. I wanted to select a monthly plan for $30. I can't change my plan now. Please help.
Hey there! Thanks for reaching out about this!
When you get a chance please check out the #support-guide channel for guidance on how to get a support ticket in place. Once that's in someone from our support team will help get this worked out!
Looking forward to getting this figured out!
I want better filters to clean up 1000+ songs in my library. For example: songs not published and not in a Playlist, show 'x' (200), and sort oldest to newest, delete all checked.
add version 3.5 back 4.5 suckz
I notice the create screen has been slightly altered. Before, when you were using extend, if you typed in the time point you want to extend from and hit enter, the song would start playing from exactly that point. This doesn't seem possible anymore? That was extremely useful, so I'm not sure why you would remove the feature, hopefully it was not on purpose.
suno please reverte back your ui to how it was before because now it's aweful to navigate with a screen reader!
I am agree. Now use the library is definitely a mes 😭
does anyone know how to post Call of Duty HOOK without failing moderation. This is the only HOOK I could do when I was on my way to Crimson last year https://suno.com/s/8HDeID3cYGUWOXXI Also when does hook count and layout change / update?
whats the point of paying for 4.5 and other people can get for free it makes no sense and how is a paid verson worst then the free version i had good music with 3.5 and then 4.5 all comes out now i dont even want to use the website and now you have to pay for 3.5 why cant people who dont pay for the subscription have both 3.5 and 4.5 all they should both be free like they were original it just makes sense in my opinion.
It would be nice to actually run the rendered sound files through a tool automatically that gives its audio properties and scores vs. the most prominent genre in the style list....this way people that are not using good speakers or don't have an ear for picking it out can get some kind of score on audio quality so they don't waste time on the render or know to try a re-master attempt.
I have two suggestions.
It would be amazing to have a "gifting" feature to make it easier to gift people a subscription to a Suno Pro plan. I got a friend interested in Suno, and when I tried to surprise them with a subscription, both of us had to jump through hoops to get my payment method on their account and get them one.
The other suggestion is a bigger one, but what if we had a "Collab" feature that basically opens one project between two accounts, and can be published on both? Instead of one artist showing up on the song screen, credit to both artists comes up (versus two artists doing one song but needing to credit them in some other way and publish on one account). One idea I have is to use the "Workspaces" feature, and have it possible to create a "Shared Workspace" where two accounts own and manage it versus just one and songs published from it are credited to both artists.
Interesting idea, but I think it might be quite challenging to make it accurate and general. Especially when expectations change over time. "Well, not bad, but it's AI so it sucks" might not be the most useful response. What about "It has the common v5 artefacts, but it didn't finish early and most people don't have good speakers nor ears anyway" vs "Oh, remastering to get worse quality, huh?"
I doubt Suno would or should go for it, but if you have an idea on how to implement it and monetize it, I do think you have a startup to build. Invite me to the early investor talks.
there are already free tools to drag and drop a file into a webpage that gives some basic stats, I'm just trying to remove some extra steps...yes comparison does actual require some user input on what the standard is...that feature would be mostly useless except for the most inexperienced adults and limited capability young adults on this site, and could be toggled on/off.
"Gra.i." pronounced Gray Eye. Is the term that I am hoping we can have added as a new category for describing what is a gray area of creativity... That's why it's called gra.i. "gray eye" it's not purely AI, and it's not purely human. Its a gray area. But the AI was used to enhance the artist's talent.. in all honesty, I don't really like the fact that I can't tell if it was completely AI generated or if there was any human talent involved... I really want to know because it's important to me and I think it's important to other people , and I believe it's going to be an industry standard , so i'm hoping that suno will see this and jump on it before someone else does , because it will happen
Hoping to get a response from the person that has the power to make that decision. 🙏🤞 @admin
gifting credits to other users might work. Another form of feedback, beyond "liking", which costs nothing (and you could argue is worth nothing). just an idea.
I don't really see what your suggestion is, nor how Suno could implement it. You repeatedly cross post about it though, so let me discuss it a bit (yes, I'm here for the reward 😜 ) .
I don't really like the fact that I can't tell if it was completely AI generated or if there was any human talent involved...
You may not be alone on that, many are afraid of the AI revolution. But thing is, if you can't tell the difference, why is one worse than the other? And how can Suno tag "grAI" songs if they are all the same? If there comes a future when grAI carries more value, then the system will be cheated. We already have "copyright" and established "roles" - lyricist, composer, performer, producer, mastering, project lead... There are 100 different use-cases for AI, which exact variants would be worthy grAI? You have a point that Suno should do, like spotify etc came to implement (although well hidden), is the proper tracking of maker credits: Yet, it could only be based on user input, impossible to verify. Inventing a "certificate" is likely useless, but could be done if the users and the record labels decides that it's valuable. Compare to "certified" choclate, coffie or bananas. I'm not sure the certifiation works at all, but certification requires control of all steps in the production chain, it would be hard for Suno themselves to realize your idea. They already have the "Made in Studio" tag, that indicates human work, do you prefer those songs?
it's important to me and I think it's important to other people
Let's see when the AI discrimination act is proposed. I can see why ppl worry, but to those who care that much, the only "separation" I understand is "no AI". Yet, is that meaningful? If we want the real human touch, should we accept computer DAWs, synths, digital recording, etc? Or will live unplugged performances get a resurge?
i would like to be able to playback songs at different speeds, i don't want to keep waiting 2 to 3 minutes to find a glitch or issue on each of the 2 renders from one create....i'd like to be able 2x or higher the speed for a quick pass through for glitches...or undesirable rendered sections.
Absolutely brilliant answer. Very very thoughtful and articulated extremely well. There are ideas that I hadn't even considered in it that now im grateful to understand. I can't argue with even one point and you are correct on all of them imho and no longer see the value in adding a grAI tag. Happy to send you the reward however you'd have to message me and I dont trust the messages here or that I would get the right person with all the scamming impersonators...so I'd have to message you if that's OK. Then we can work out how to pay you.
I was just kidding about the reward, feel free to select any charity if it was meant to make the world better. I also didn't mean to shatter your idea entirely, finding a good way to value "human creativity" is still an ongoing topic where discussion is one path forward. Labelling might be something (maybe or maybe not for Suno), but probably hard. "AI: good or bad" discussions are definitely building momentum now. It could be interesting to learn how Suno users register their human input/copyright, or if most don't bother, but such discussion should continue in another channel. We could try #1183790355192234105 for a while.
Thanks. Agree

There's one thing that bugs me about Suno, and that's the persistence on portrait ratio cover art. Most, if not all, music platforms typically use a 1:1 ratio for their cover art: soundcloud, apple, bandcamp, landr, distrokid. It doesn't matter where you go, chances are it's going to be 1:1 as the standard album/song cover size. But Suno looks more like an e-book shop than a music platform. It just really irks me, sorry.
It would be nice if we can save configurations of our featured song list so we can rotate different ordered list of featured songs in couple clicks....a playlist of sorts....80% or more of my profile page visitors just sample some songs for the pinned feature songs and don't go near playlists (I also rarely ever click on or listen to anyone's playlist..i use the web interface only).
Currently making a Cover or Extend adds that text as a suffix to song titles. Stop that. When we remove the audio the text stays. Instead lets place a marker on covers and extends. Same way you have a visual overlay when songs had personas. Something simple like that to identify that it is a cover without adding text suffixes.
Not to mention its additive. "Song Title (Cover) (Extend) (Extend) (Extend) (Extend) (Remaster).
Ya, we change the ones that matter. Not the point. It's cumbersome, and defeats the purpose to add a label to identify that the song is a cover when A) multiple gens share these same cumbersome name extensions B) when you removed the audio sample and hit create (but didn't change the song title, because intuitively we would not think to do that) now a song is incorrectly labeled as a (Cover) or whatever and is lost in a sea of generations with confusing, distracting text.
Suggestive auto-title naming checkbox option per each generation would be phenomenal as well.
Thank you.
Feels better just getting it off my chest. lol.
It was better when they had a slider so you could resize the image
can we change this back to the way it was
the change was made to the share links in both section's today
@soft siren 🖕
the ability to tag another suno username as an equal partner or collaboration instead of just covers and remixes, is this a thing?
is there any chance we could get that red message box at the bottom moved, when your listening and delete a song you have to wait for it to time out everytime, it would b perfect to the right or the top right
and maybe not make it red
the fact that it covers up the contorls just doesn't sit right
or just move it "above" the controls, sit it doesn't interfere with anything
I'm sure it has been suggested before, but it would be really nice to get sorting options for most/least likes and listens in library. Seems like it would be something that would be relatively easy to implement and would be helpful for quickly finding your best and worst performing tracks.
You can tag in the caption section
workflow and general navigation have been considerably slowed down now that the html tables have been removed in create, library and trash pages, making keyboard only navigation harder and more tedious. selection and especially multiple selection at once has been totaly impossible from now on, making me delete songs one at a time and making me totaly unable to clear out entire pages in the trash. @jaunty imp could you maybe considerate to put them back, please?
What's up with this "song"? It's just crazy!!! Music from this "song" is completely STOLEN from this video. This YouTube video was realesed 9 years ago, in 2015, Suno's latest top model v5 stole it in 2025! Not just some part of music, it stole WHOLE track entirely. It's very sad.
https://youtu.be/widZEAJc0QM
https://suno.com/s/X52UvqtVDGGRBSVR
Thanks for calling this out. The suno generated song is based on an upload of the copyrighted material.
Who did uploaded copyrighted material?
its a cover of a song from a 1952 finish film, fyi
And? AI must GENERATE music, not to PUT covers of 1952 Finish movies into them. Generation is NOT putting!
@smoky hinge Hello! Why does newest model steal music of real people?
I have watched this whole movie a few times during 2005 - 2020. It's pretty good movie.
FYI
@smoky hinge tells something about copyrighted material. But I have a question, why did Suno developers upload this "copyrighted material" into Suno?
I appreciate you notifying me that a user uploaded copyrighted data, and it has been removed.
If you come across other examples please flag it. That will help us detect and remove that material.
<@&1082792303976001547> Ban him, please
There is no functionality for USERS to upload anything! You know?
There sure is, and I'd encourage everyone to take advantage of it provided they aren't uploading copyrighted material.
You can find the option to do so here:
Ok, bro, listen. I have a free account, ok? I don't have this functionality. And you know what? I generated a song for myself and it contains 3 seconds of music from a song of a real artist. How is that possible?
Interesting, what's your account?
sandybay1
@smoky hinge Bro, listen, I have no idea why do you need my account username, but anyway I provided you with it. What you really need in this situation is link to generated by Suno song + real music of a real artist that Suno V5 was inspired by.
Timecodes:
0:24 - 0:27 of Suno song
0:43 - 0:46 of original song from YouTube

@smoky hinge How will we solve this problem?
I love your enthusiasm in tackling this problem. At this point I have all the information that's required on this particular topic.
Bro, every single song I created via Suno is a real song of real people. Do you understand that?
Hey SandyBay! Thanks for reaching out about this.
A great way to reach out and add extra visibility to such things would be through suno.com/feedback. By design, this channel is more intended for suggestions and things of that nature. Feel free to DM me directly though if you bump into any simlar instances and I'd be happy to help.
Hope you have a great day!
Feature Request: Make Remix OFF by Default (or allow us to set it)
Right now Remix is ON by default for every new song, and we have to manually turn it off one track at a time. It would be really helpful to have a global setting where creators can choose their default Remix state. Many of us prefer Remix to be OFF by default for privacy, control, and consistency. A simple toggle in account settings would save a lot of time.
Initially I opened Remix because I wanted more exposure, but I found several remixes of my tracks that weren’t credited properly. Some users didn’t use the official Remix feature, so Suno didn’t link back to my original song or my profile. That defeats the purpose of enabling Remix, so that’s why I want the option to turn it off by default
Add a nsfw channel in discord please
would love a place both on the discord and on the site to show off public personas so that others can find them easily and use them in songs, just like a sperate discord channel that we can post the share links in maybe have it the community section, it would be great have it on the home page of the site too or maybe it's own tab
that occasionally happens, the song is shown in the song details window of the re-mixer, and will show up in the remix list on the original song's creator profile page , but a link to the song won't appear on the remix song's landing page as the "remix of ".....i think it's a suno issue not an issue w/ the remixer doing anything wrong...
Yeah, I’ve noticed that too, it does show up in the details window and on my remix list, but the problem is exactly what you said: the ‘remix of…’ link doesn’t appear on the remix’s main page. That’s the part that matters for visibility and proper credit. So even if the remixer didn’t do anything wrong, the system still breaks the chain. That’s why I’m asking for a proper default setting and more consistent linking.
And just to add, I’m only sharing the issues I’ve run into it. I don’t know what’s causing the uncredited versions; it could be users who don’t know the proper way to remix, or it could be the system. I’m not blaming anyone, just pointing out that it’s a real problem. I’ve even commented on some remixes where the credit didn’t show, just to say thank you, and the creator tag beside my name still didn’t appear. So the chain breaks in multiple places
its the system i recently just made a cover, using a persona, no remix of.......its about 50% of my covers of others behave that way...I've tracked a few that have the link...my simple limited observation....most people are busy making music...not spending an additiona 3 to 5 minutes listening to the original song a cover they just heard was made from.....but that neither here nor there relating the system linking correctly
Thank you for your message. I’m not really sure what’s causing it, I’ve seen around ten covers of my songs where the credit didn’t show, but I can’t say if that’s because of the system or because people don’t know the proper remix steps. I’m not blaming anyone. I’m just pointing out that the credit chain breaks sometimes, and that’s why I’m asking for a more reliable setup.
UI-Feedback: the new UI setup update:
🔴 Workflow optimization: Decreased overview.
Right now I can't find a real use to the latest changes, but I'm missing something since it now:
- Thus I'd dearly suggest to please give us back the remaining credits amount overview thingy when the side bar is minimalized like it was displayed before. Yeah, I am aware it's there in the expanded side bar now, but the elements on the creation process are consuming already enough space on the screen, so you never have this open normally, which is (I guess) why you can collapse it to begin with. So please give back this at-a-glance UI element to re-optimize workflow on a passive basis. Thank you in advance!
@ other Users like me:
If you're missing the credit info yourself too, please leave a reaction like 💯 or 👍 to show you're missing it too. Thanks!
(This isn't because I really bother for reactions in first place, but to maybe put efforts together on things we wanna see changed agreeing.)
Adding vocal controls would be great here's an idea
Italic: choir ensemble
Bold: yelling/screaming
Underline: echo repeating the line
•Bullet: long pause between words
Just a thought, here:
Could we get a conversational window with Suno? I think it would make things a lot easier for explaining, conversationally, what we're trying to get in a track. If the LLM (heck, even SLM) had a Clarifying Questions module, then it could be twice as brilliant.
I don’t know what happened with the covers of classical, operatic songs. I know there aren’t opera voices, but until now they still felt right! The styles barely work: they all sound very similar, very slow, and sometimes shrill, and even when I say I don’t want drums, they inevitably end up appearing. I’ve spent months making covers satisfactorily—without drums, without pop styles, and without harshness. But something has broken. I try using 4.5, but nothing. Before, I used to get short pieces and subtle nuances. That seems to be over.o.
Y no sé como evitar que a media canció la voz se dispare en un crescendo chillón... es obvio que algo habeis hecho. Quizás funciona para estilos pop pero para nada con estilos clásicos!
Y todas las intros son muy parecidas!
Hi, I wonder if others are experiencing these problems I have. SNUO is impossible since they dissolved the AI help. I have submitted several melodies, and everyone is rubbish. I tried a simple CW solo on bass strings, and they did the opposite. I then uploaded a singer without any backing and asked for a backing track and solo guitar- they placed an entirely different singer with a track unsuitable. I had earlier typed eight verses of my own song, and they lost it? I'm at my wits' end with this setup? I hope someone has some answers to this. JIM
STUDIO SUGGESTION: Whenever I create a song with Studio I find that it does not get traction with listens. Even if I manually set keywords of the songs I wind up getting a few listens. This doesn't happen if i don't use studio. For this reason alone I shy away from using it. A core idea of Suno is sharing music you create with others. So, if that can't be realized then it just becomes a tool to replace my DAW offline. I hope you will consider looking into it. Studio is amazing, but this feels like an Achillies heel.
we lost the indicator if persona was legacy...so i forgot to note it in the description at the time of render for at least one of the pair that information is lost to the wind for me to go back and compare and analyze renders....we need a way to tell which version of the persona was used embedded in the render information visible to the creator
Suggestion - STOP adding new things if your still have broken things that is all thanks! (Hooks and Sunoverse and such)
when you skip song at bottom - song details also changed in sync with it
turn the time off on the posts. i dont want to know what time it is when im in my flow - its a major destraction
Please remove the Hooks stuff from the landing page of the app, it’s cutting off the sound of whatever I’m listening to when I open the app.
Never asked for this feature and it drains my data like crazy. It was fine the way it was before. Thanks.
Please add a way to request a collaboration with another creator. Thank you.
Can we please get back the ability to filter in workspaces for pinned songs? We had that before and it made it a lot easier to mark important tracks and then move them all at once to a new workspace. I've seen plenty of others who also would like this returned.
Also, it would be great if we could filter for only disliked tracks, so we can more easily clean them out. I know they mostly stay hidden, but that also seems to cause issues when you have a lot of them in a workspace. As in, if you have a lot of disliked songs, it seems like they block your non-disliked songs from appearing properly, even when disliked songs are hidden.
Edit: Just noticed we now have filter options for disliked songs and to show only private songs. You guys are killing it lately. Thank you.
IT would be AWESOME to have a feature that allows you to render stems as MIDI as well
homepage now visit-able and enjoyable to click on things....were-as prior to the update...the songs displayed made me not want to visit homepage again...click bait half naked women, same person in every category , etc w/ same sounding song, just different genre tags, ...etc...well done on cleaning it up
I have a suggestion, to be able to rearrange playlist song order so that we dont need to redo the whole playlist to get the songs we want at the top 😊 i like to use my sleep playlist for well...getting to sleep, but the songs I want to hear are not un the order I want. This would be cool, same with being able to rearrange your hook list
You can get the MIDI transcripts with the Premier plan
Man I was trying to find that info everywhere, no video or faq mentioned it, and i didn't want to just upgrade since I saw a ton of people losing all their stuff when they had the black Friday deal haha. Thanks dude!
can we have like those free tests we had when I think v4 came out for like every model? It would be very kool to have that feature back
(I know how to spell cool dw)
I need a battle!!
Like walking through the tall grass and BOOM... someone made some flame....
But you just have to redo the song..
It would kinda be like everyone gets a chance to make it better?
Idk think about that I guess...
Recreate.
Give the creator time to come back.
Like the versus battles. People would be able to vote on which is better.
Maybe a challenge button??? If the creator accepts its on!!!
Feature Request: Can you please add "Most Played" (i.e. on the Newest, Oldest list) to make it easier to find songs that you have created and played the most on the create section, library and playlists. This feature is intended to help find the songs easier if there's 10x types of the same song.
Ok, I have to ask, and I'm sorry if this is not the best channel for it, but it doesn't really seem like a bug, more of a strange design choice.
Why are the embed videos suddenly cutting half of the cover art off? The embeds kind of sucked already, because the sound when playing them is horrible, but it's honestly just ugly and annoying to look at. I've heard a lot of other people complaining about it as well. I'm really hoping it is just an accident or something that will get fixed. I'm also kind of curious why the embed videos haven't been set up to play video cover art. Seems like they would be perfect for that, so it is kind of strange to me.
Still love most of the new stuff being added (sounds, mashups, samples), just not sure why the embeds were made worse for seemingly no real reason.
will suno fix duet tracks? I specifically detail the gender to sing/rap their part, and yet the opposite gender sings. Is there a secret I’m not doing?
Users would like a way to toggle between the Suno auto-generated style description added to audio uploads automatically, and a user-given description. Something that relates to search fields as well, so that when they add their user-generated style description, people can find their music based on the style description as well.
Suggestion: The position of the error/dialogue window is really annoying in the web ui as it covers the play controls. I suggest you move it to the top of the screen instead and add an x-icon for manual closing in addition to the current timeout.
REQUEST ---------------
My suno is getting disorganized, when are we going to get Workspaces within a Workspace (You know, like folders within a folder in windows)
I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but I didn't see it in a quick search:
I would love to see the total play length of my playlist somewhere. Also, when the playlist ends, it would be nice if the play button on the playlist started it from the beginning instead of playing the last song again.
Simple QOL request:
Add numbers after duplicate song names.
eg. Neon Dreams 1, Neon Dreams 2 ect.
If you really want to spoil us, also implement bulk renaming in this format.
please dont block the controls with deleted popup, place it to the side slightly
usecase: i'm playing a song... immediately hear it "oh god this is bad" DELETES... then its still playing... and i cant click STOP, because the UI is blocked
Who puts the toast right in the middle of things? Oh right, Suno's devs have no UI skills. At least they make up for it in other ways... I guess.
It could be a lot smaller and an option to disable the toast would be cool. Also, make files in trash delete automatically after X amount of days option. Or maybe just a nuke option that fully destroys things. I have way too many blank audio gens in my Studio projects and I just want a one step that destroys them or automatically goes, "Oh, you probably wanted audio not silence, let me re-roll bro!"
haha fair, but its nice they have a discord where we can address these issues...
the above is like 4-5 prompts with Claude Opus 4.6...
i think they will fix it soon
lol I felt that (this is also a trigger for me)
It is a case of trial and error I think. Duets are notoriously difficult.
I've done two duets plus a mash up of both duets and it took ages and I ended up editing a lot of times to replace the wrong gender singing the wrong part but even that takes time to get it sounding okay.
I'm sure you do this already but adding instruction into the lyric sheet can help:
[Male vocal- baritone blah blah]
I went walking through the night blah etc
[Chorus, Female vocal, softly whispering etc]
Did you wait for me blah etc
Here is my mash up duet:

it's weird that featured songs are excluded from songs. my initial intuition when I open a creator's profile is to check their songs, only from setting featured songs myself do I understand how it works
if I wanted to, I switch to the (top) sorting, and what I would EXPECT is that some of their featured songs would naturally be some of the ones found here, but because of this weird exclusion principle they are not
pehaps some marking on the entry in "songs" to show that it's part of the featured set would suffice, if the idea is that users might listen all the featured songs first and then have a bad experience with repeated content when they go to the "Songs" part
also maybe something to show ahead of time if a song has vocals or is just instrumental so much of my experience is clicking play scrolling down see vocals skip to the next track
Time remaining:
Song timer should be able to display time remaining. So the track length counts down whilst it's playing. Having several extentions all made at different lengths, with the naming problem, we currently have... It's practically impossible to tell whats what. I have no idea of know how long the track is because the counter starts at 00:00 and counts up. Tapping it to display the time remaining instead is very helpful.
Extend:
On the app when generating an extention, you can't see what time the extend starts because you have a button over the ui of the waveform.
Star rating:
Implement a 5 Star rating system for tracks. This way when I have lots of variations. I can sort them. This is great. This is okay, this sucks. Then I can use filters or arrange them by that rating. Helping me filter out the bad quickly and help me focus on the good.
This star rating system will lessen the demand for a large file tree. Because it's meta not pathing
I love the intuitive UI.
BUT there are at least 45+ rounded corners in this work space.
I feel like my eyes are subdividing into a ball pit.
Discord is a example of rounded corners without the space gaps.
I think this would make long hours working on it easier?
The Following feed sometimes hides songs I haven’t heard yet when multiple releases happen in a day. Adding a sorting preference (like Release Date) would help users make sure they don’t miss new releases from artists they follow.
is there a way to nest workspaces? that way you can write songs under a parent workspace (concepts / albums)?
🚨 - PLEASE...adopt a consistent size for your images. Honestly... just go with instagram size. I mean... Im required to upload artwork at 9:16 Ratio This is what i need to upload in order for it to fit...and obviously not make "everything" I look at ugly. But then, as soon as I leave the privacy of my own interface... everywhere in the App the images are different sizes. Users see different sizes images, so the ones i upload never fit....or i have to make 4 different assets. The tall for my personal use, then 2 for suno, insta size and then theres something else. Its like before ive even begun to promote or present my work, ive needed to generate 10 different assets for your site alone.
Sure this isnt issue if people are happy to use and display Ai gen artwork. But Some of use take our work seriously and believe that each one of our projects deserves attention etc. Just standardise the Image ratio on ur site . Bam. responsive hurdle elimated.
Please I hate the fact that I cant represent my work publically because. I would have to spend more time actually building the digital assets than the actual tracks themselves.
This took me forever to understand😅
Suggestion: "Activate if the generated results don't match the selection."
OR : Activate if the generated audio does not match the selected lyrics.
I have a report detailing at least three serious vulnerabilities. How do I report this to the responsible parties? I would appreciate a reward in credits for this.
For the BETA sounds feature..... only generating 2 sounds for 2 seconds of audio each is not enough..... please generate 4-8 sounds... and create a branch new browsing UI for it...
Kling has a text-to-sound feature and it is far more usable because you can see the preview of the small 2s sounds that have been generated.... and it generates 4-8 sounds on one track... so you can easily pick and choose....
current suno SOUNDs only generates like 2s and usually within that its only 1 sound. its not very 'information dense' and thus makes the whole experience slow and tiresome.
after generating 8 sounds... i want to BULK download them... i dont want to download 1 sound each time.. (annoying)
For the "SOUNDS" beta... a really nice UI to navigate would be like the FMOD folder structure they use in FMOD Studio the game industry sound standard, (or Ableton live... heck... msot sound programs have this i think) where you can use arrow keys to navigate up/down, and when you move onto an audio track, it autoplays, with right/left arrow keys doing 20% scrub increments along track length.
It has too much fade, on the instrument channel it is noticeable that it needs fade, I think you have a good fade on the drums, try at 5.0 and give the sample fade time in the workflow to be smaller and to position the instrument correctly, not close, the same for the track, so that the voice does not modify the vocal timbre, that is, to position the persona, so for audio samples it needs a Lora node, train a secondary model for artists, I notice that the voice is trained by the instrumental channel, I recommend that the voice be together with the bass, the bass shows how harmoniously the instruments follow the bass, it is time to change the nodes and add nodes in the middle between the model you have and the audio processing.
can you please put the followers/following in alphabetical order on our suno pages? it is extremely difficult to find people the way it is, thank you.
There is a chrome extention for bulk download you can search up suno in the chfome store
CMD+BACKSPACE hotkey is the biggest QoL change in a while... saves so many needless mouse movements and clicking... thank you
Please expand payment method with Chinese payment methods: Unionpay, Wechat pay, Alipay and others. Thank you for your attention.
Hello Suno Team,
I need to address something that honestly makes no sense.
I’m extending my own original traditional Irish track, and the only line I entered was:
“Do you know what I am?”
That’s it.
The system flagged it as copyrighted material and refused to generate.
This is a simple, everyday question. It is not unique. It is not tied to a specific song. It’s not even remotely identifiable as protected content. Blocking a phrase that generic makes the copyright filter feel overly aggressive and unreliable for serious creators.
If this line is supposedly connected to copyrighted material, then I would like clarity:
What specific source is being referenced?
Who owns it?
When was it published?
What exactly is triggering the violation?
If the system is going to block content, there needs to be transparency. Otherwise, creators are left guessing and wasting time trying to work around invisible rules.
I strongly suggest refining the copyright detection parameters. Common language should not be treated as infringement. We need room to write original music without being penalized for basic phrases.
I take my work seriously, and I use Suno as a serious tool. I need it to function with reasonable logic.
Thank you.
From Arsenal Empire Studios, A Suno Music Artist
hello there suno team please, i'm begging you, change or reverte back to the previous ui/ux with the html tables in the trash. it is litteraly impossible for blind people to select and delete multiple clips, the pages are gone so we end up with an infinite list of clips and the "hotkeys" you seem to have provided just don't work at all. the trash is just a pure bother at this point, since i can't niether delete all or even have an easy search for a clip i'd like to restaur.
i love suno but it's become more and more painful to use lately. please, think of the accessibility.
Hello SUNO Team. German user with fluent English here.
Would it be possible/reasonable to add an option to switch languages on the SUNO interface to English or other languages? I am in the mildly funny position where most of my musical experience is English based, but the interface appearing in a mixed English/German variant is just very confusing as whenever I discover a style of music in the suggestion box I have to translate it to English 1st in several ways as some of the German translations make little to no sense and pose difficulties in researching what kind of music it represents.
I can't reproduce. Can you post a link to track you're extending from?
why is there so much empty space on the ui - why cant u fill it with actions /? the #1 for me would be download - toggle in proj for wav - and dont make me hit download when its finished just download it ???? like why are you making people have to wait - put it off to the side and just tell us its downloaded then make that go away after a few seconds - your download system is so clunky and so many clicks - when are you going to get a batch downloader - $8 gets me 100's of songs a month and you make us do like 4 clicks and wait 20 seconds to hit the last click that's over 400 extra clicks i don't wanna do - hours of work just to download stuff - why ?there are obvious better ways to do it - and again why are you naming the 2 files generated at the same time the same name ???? so you make us rename every other file cuz having 2 files on my computer named the same is incredibly confusing and impossible to know which is which
Is there somewhere I can offer suggestions to improve your support service? I've been without support for 51 days now, even after trying every possible means of communication...
What happened to the automated style summary in the Song details?
@final cloud please bring back the Dashboard before the update as it has sent the whole experience backwards. We love to listen to New Songs and Artists, as well as those that we follow, but the update has made this harder to do as it is all more condensed and far too many clicks to find what we are looking for. This "update" to the UX has been detrimental so far. Please revert it.
PLEASE! Give us an option to not generate a Queue. @final cloud
Do you mean this? I started typing "dr" and then clicked it. As you can see it got populated. Chrome. PC. Windows.
No in "Song Details" on a track , you go to the the three little dots next to "Remix/Edit" and go down the list to "Song Details"where you can add a pic and add details like a comment.
The style summary seems to have come back since I posted that msg
It's the tags that show under a track in your profile for eg "Darkwave" Metal" "Rap" etc
Allow square thumbnail selection for album artwork to align with text in the image or to center the image user preference or visual balance.
/// Also another suggestion: Move the “creators to follow” section to the explore page with a permanent toggle option.
Give us the option to make the song generation column into two columns that are resizable for users with wide or high resolution (4k+) monitors. As it is, there's a lot of wasted space that's just displaying a list of songs, while my lyrics and style and "more options" are always expanded out and the song details column can't even expand like it used to, meaning all the horizontal space of my monitor is wasted.
Additionally, I'd like the ability when using the Inspiration feature to choose how much influence each track has on my new generation individually. So let's say I have two tracks used as Inspiration, but I want Track A to be used as 10% influence and Track B to be influencing at 30%.
Why did you change this!!??? I use it constantly to organize my songs!!! I cant keep track unless I can add a song from anywhere to another Playlist!!!!
Please please please change it back!!!!! I use suno all.day every day and I have a full subscription....
Please please please change it back!!!!!
Please!!!!! Im begging you..you just fkd my life and work and made it 10x harder to move songs to different playlists!!!!!!
Why are you pushing hand-picked, curated lists to us, when we you already had a poll that showed the last thing the community wants
is curated lists? They are always weeks or months behind, they are always dominated by just a few creators you pick, you're killing visibility of your own user base with each iteration of the UI.
The whole site is now hand-picked lists, nothing is driven by data, there isn't single list to show which songs the community ACTUALLY listens to! If you don't like your own trending list, make a better one, a different one, at least try!
Best of V5.5 will fall to the same problem as every other static list on your site, you can't keep up with the user base.
It's completely unfair to your whole user base that you pick 10-20 songs from thousands and show them for months.
Personally i think this is exactly why they should leave the whole trending thing removed. Just look at Abel's reaction not even a day after trending got removed. It's worrisome what that silly feature does to people and if anything this underlines that.
hand picked curated lists work fine, if you have a fair submission process and actual curators 😄
worked a charm on other platforms
failed here as we literally release a curated list like 'BEST OF X' and leave it there for 3 years
What do you mean, the front pages will be nice to check in on once every 3 months to see if anything has changed
Tbh I don't wanna listen to any of the people on the trending list unless I know them personally. Most of the people who trend ain't cuppa tea. Efforts lackin in a lot of it. Let it be gone.
and the 'manually curated ones' where a rare handful of somewhat thoughtout picks, and a load of thematic searches with no checking of the song and dropping stuff from like V3 with distortion (no plays/ no likes/ no comments) into a modern playlist... and they seemed to give up on releasing them after a few months anyway
The search feature still barely even works, so it seems they just don't want anyone to ever find songs on here
Keep it to new songs and the genre lists alongside the "for you" section, forget curated, forget trending. We don't need those, we don't want those. they get abused the moment someone finds a shred of ego, and there are by now more bots than actual humans on this damn site. good riddance, now remove the rest of the offenders.
Please f king change this back...I cant move songs to different playlists because you took away the add to playlist button while in playlist window...now I have to search each f king song through every version to add it to a new playlist and this is how I organize because im working 99% on my phone ....
Can someone please respond and talk to me about this
You already had a remove from playlist window in the drop down menu. Why on earth did you move it up and replace the ad playlist button? Everything was working great
you guys just wrecked my workflow so hard? Now I have to manually search each song directly.Instead of adding it to a new playlist... I have gone through five thousand iteration in four months, and this is how I organize by creating new playlists.... I create a new playlist for better versions and keep adding new ones..... And I just got bent over hard by you guys with a needless and mistaken design change.
Regardless of the fact that I find your phrasing passive-aggressive, I'd say these are typical layout adjustments that don't affect the possibilities. Perhaps you just haven't found the right workflow with the new arrangement yet? And honestly, do you seriously think you'll get an answer with that kind of attitude? I suggest you try a slightly nicer approach 😉
I apologize for being so lit up. I really do..the problem is when I go to do a search I cant even find songs to add to a Playlist. I have so many versions it wont show me all of them and im in shock and cant believe everything just fell apart over night.
I'm trying the best I can to describe how much this has changed everything. Im heart broken
The high-energy heavy dubstep track opens with 32 bars of tight, punchy drums, sharp percussive fills, warped synth stabs, and swelling FX tailored for seamless DJ mixing. Drops unleash frantic chopped male/female vocal cuts, gritty riddim basslines, aggressive complextro synth riffs, wild screech leads, frenetic micro-edits, and sharp DJ scratch accents, maintaining relentless intensity throughout. 128 bpm,
Can I ask to please add a button for adding a song to a Playlist? When you are in a Playlist there is no button to add to a Playlist..i.e. a different playlist.
Sounds epic
ohhh.. hahaha.. wrong paste-text in my clipboard 😄
I understand your frustration. Every change disrupts the familiar workflow, but there's definitely a way to implement your plan easily. So try to understand the new layout. <-- that is what i wanna say 😉
I wouldn't mind a small change but there is no add to playlist button in certain windows (when in a playlist) and it literally wrecks my main thing mode of operation. But adding an Add to playlist button in all windows would solve it
well.. i understand that..
Thank you for being so patient and tolerant lol I definitely was little on the rude side ..im very sorry for that im a normally nice person.
One thing you should never forget... the SUNO team is always working on the layout in addition to the sound models. Some things are changed again after release based on feedback. Even if a particular language was a bit harsh, it's possible the programmers read it... so stay relaxed and wait for the next updates 🙂
You didn't read my post carefully dear Raven. I clearly explained that the problem is the lack of visibility, and that the hand-picked lists
barely show a couple of songs, they're often weeks\months behind. I mentioned trending once, I didn't defend the current one either,
I said if THEY don't like it they should at least try to make a better one, not erase it from existense. Is it that big of an expectation to have
a better, data driven (not curated, not hand-picked) list to show which songs people engage with?
You were absolutely right in your diagnosis. Removing the Trending tab was a huge mistake.
There was already a poll where the community clearly showed what direction should be followed, so I really don’t understand the point of asking users for feedback just to ignore it and do the exact opposite.
I literally just opened the app hoping to check out the Trending section, support other creators, and discover new music — and it’s simply gone. Replaced by a tab that was already getting plenty of visibility (Best of V5.5).
Global Trending wasn’t just a feature, it was something that kept the community alive. It motivated people to create, to engage, to listen, like, comment, and support each other. Many great songs got their moment there.
Now that it’s gone, a big part of that motivation disappears too. This kind of change doesn’t just affect visibility — it risks discouraging the very community that keeps the platform alive.
My apologies. The conduct shown in recent months may have clouded my judgment and led me to misinterpret your intent. If that is indeed the case, please carry on, as I fully agree that user visibility is a serious issue.
would be awesome if we could manage multiple different artists under a single Suno account. this would expand the current Workspaces feature and adjust the current behavior.
Instead of song artist being listed from the account level, it should move to the Workspace level.
I have multiple artists and having to juggle two different Suno accounts simply isn’t an option or practical.
also, congrats with v5.5 release!
Agreed 💯 and not only that. They also took away the Playlists which were used by many AI music creator communities. There is zero possible visibility for anyone now. It's like a ghost town (curated lists that aren't curated aren't a viable solution).
If they want to build up engagement that won't happen with Hooks. This is not TikTok.
Even if there's a small chance at getting seen it's better than this nothing that was created right now. Unless they are planning to introduce a paid way. I'm just waiting for that.
this should default ... so done with my own music going to others when i dont want that and vise versa
I would really really appreciate having the workspace filter back for showing only pinned songs. The way it works now is still useful, but I liked being able to filter for only pinned songs for helping while sorting. I used to really like using it to differentiate a liked song I wanted to hold onto from one that was the more finalized version or the best of the batch, that sort of thing. Relatively small and simple thing, but I really liked when we had that.
Remix Contest Songs created in a new Workspace and PINNED to the top. Don't have to go fishing around for the original. Stay organized.
can we get the featured songs in customizable order?
Suno needs to give us waveform display at the bottom of the screen like they have in Studio to view as we enjoy the playback of songs. It gives great feedback on song structure and other stuff .
What's with this nonsense—why can't we see our credits anymore, and instead it just says “Pro Plan” or “Premium Plan”?
Why are they constantly changing things just for the sake of change, even when it makes absolutely no sense?
It's the "Move fast, break stuff, never look back" school of thought, which is just annoying to have to deal with
Are you still seeing this? I’m not seeing on mobile web
"Credits Remaining" has disappeared. It's inconvenient to use. Please fix it.
That's exactly what I just wanted to write: "Credits Remaining" has disappeared. It's inconvenient to use. Please fix it."
Yes please fix this it’s annoying I would rather not go to a different page just to check to see how many credits i have left.
I was thinking a shuffle button on an artist profile/playlist would be nice.
The decision to intentionally try to hide credits remaining feels so scammy
By the way, now that the credits aren’t visible anymore and I always have to check the account tab, I’ve been thinking about canceling Suno, or at least downgrading, because now I actually notice how much I’m paying every month.
Bring back credits on the side of page, why we have to go to Account to check, also "report song for bad audio" is also on the very bottom of the multiple options for reporting a person, is very bad choice, bring the button back, "single button" for reporting bad audio
Please return the field that shows how many points I have. It's extremely tedious having to click the upgrade option just to see how many points I have.
I'm not asking, I'm demanding that the credit counter be put back where it was. We pay real money for this service, and people work hard for the money they put into Suno. You should not be moving important account and spending information around without clear notice, and definitely not in a way that leaves users blind to how many credits they have left while creating. That looks anti user at best, and scammy at worst. This should not be tolerated. Put the credit visibility back on the create page.
Even if they fix it, it won’t really matter. There’s no trending page anymore, and the music style categories are gone too, so nobody’s going to see your song anyway.
The UI/UX changes have been terrible. Half the time, no one even realizes you released a new track.
It all feels pretty pointless.
I’m definitely going to downgrade my plan.
I don’t need Studio anyway, especially if it’s still buggy as it is for now. // sry 4 that Suno but i cant work like this :/
This is a service where users spend prepaid credits to generate content in return, correct?
With that in mind, this recent change feels a bit off.
For example, imagine a mobile game saying,
“We want you to enjoy the game, so we’ve hidden your premium currency balance,”
or an online store saying,
“We want you to enjoy shopping, so we’ve hidden your prepaid balance.”
Most people would feel uneasy about that.
Credits are not just a “limitation” — they’re a key piece of information for decision-making.
This is especially true given the current level of inconsistency in generation results.
If this were a system with unlimited usage, I could understand the philosophy behind it.
But since that’s not the case, I believe it’s important to be able to see your credit balance while working.
Since navigating away from the page currently resets working data such as lyrics or styles, it’s even more important that the credit balance is visible without requiring a page change.
As I said, the way the credits are hidden is absolutely user-unfriendly, so I've deactivated my account for now. I'd gladly come back since I was generally satisfied, but it makes you wonder if any of the people working there have ever had anything to do with marketing?! If not, I'm currently looking for a new job and I have a marketing degree, just saying 😄
Suno's marketing team is scaling fast, and we need a Marketing Analyst to be the analytical partner driving smarter acquisition decisions. You'll own the data that tells us which channels work, which creatives perform, and where to invest our next dollar. You'll design and analyze marketing experiments, build attribution models that actually ref...
I mean... It is an open position...
Thank you for the link, but I can't just hop on a plane to have a job interview in the USA 😄 It wasn't entirely serious, my English is far too bad, I'd have to brush it up first.
@jaunty imp i'm sorry for the ping, but i just read the latest annoucement #🚀┃updates message and i just wanted to say: no. just, no.
i don't feel empowered to create more or reassured at all wen you say my credit amount is hidden. on the very contrary, i specifically like to keep track of my credits for multiple gens moments, it helps me to determine what i'm gonna work on today. plus i am a screen reader user and being only able to see credits while on the create page/dialogue (it still appears as a closable dialogue on firefox for some reason) i struggle to keep track of credits enough already. i still remember the days where credits were visible at all time, and i liked that.
please, could you reconsider? or at least maybe just add a togle option that will turn the credits view on and off?
sorry again for the ping, and thanks for reading. have a nice day.
This announcement is hilariously bad
i barely woke up 10 minutes earlier, then i read this and instantly felt the headache... 😞
Seriously, i prefer credit visible so i can double check that i spend my credit and get things in return. I found many times that i got one track per create or some bugs with low sound quality which i never get refund back anyways. Hiding credit isn’t a good move for user friendly, if you want to create a user friendly then fix those bugs instead of hiding credit.
They probably only took credit visibility away so that when they add it back in a few days they can pat themselves on the back and proudly announce how good they are at "listening to their community."
I'm also annoyed about the recent changes. Pinning songs is buggy, and the order gets messed up. Trending tracks are now invisible and only accessible to tech-savvy users directly via https://suno.com/trending where individual songs have significantly fewer likes and plays than usual. On top of that, there are opaque playlists that aren't updated (I myself have an old song on one of these lists that's suddenly getting attention again). While it's generally a good idea to give lesser-known artists more exposure through such playlists, I'm afraid it's pointless. I did a quick check, and while they might have a lot of likes on one song, their other tracks get little attention. This matches my experience with my old song on one playlist; people like it, but they generally don't listen to my other songs. The only remaining visibility is briefly through the new song list and the hooks. Regarding the hooks, it's noticeable that the price for high-quality videos has recently doubled to 400 credits—a scoundrel who thinks ill of it... Furthermore, the remaining credits are no longer displayed directly; you have to click on the subscription menu each time. Personally, I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably release less, if anything at all, and just make songs for friends and family, like I used to. Unfortunately, my premium subscription still has nine months to run, and I honestly don't know what I'll do then...😐
i still cant access hooks and they dont show up on my profile
my pinned songs are still out of order
going to post this every day until i get a reponse
Exactly, as if the credit indicator was interfering when creating the song... sometimes...
Nope it was interfering with their profits,. It was not interfering with creation they don't want conscious users they want spending sheep,.
Yes, this is a totally illogical choice for Suno to make, I suspect like others have said it's to force us to upgrade.
Which is pretty devious of them. Freedom of choice and all that.
yes, pls bring back the credit visibility, it is important for UX to know exactly how the credits spending goes when we click generate, not hidden on the upgrade page, thanks
Greetings Suno team, I’d like to offer my thoughts regarding user profile pages to strengthen discovery and collaboration across the platform is the goal here.
For me, it’s not always clear what an artist’s core style or creative intent is when viewing their profile or even when receiving a new follower notification. Listening to a pinned track helps, but a single piece rarely represents the full scope of an artist’s direction or what they’re aiming to create on Suno.
How about a “Preferred Genres / Creative Focus” section in the profile banner?
Expanding collaboration tools alongside this would like Clear indicators for tracks available for remixing, optional signals that an artist is open to collaboration, and maybe the ability to send remix requests directly ?
From my own experience finding artists and opportunities would make sense to complete the [ALLOW OTHERS TO REMIX opt in Option] with collaboration tools accessible and simple.
Make collaboration easier to initiate - Help creators express their artistic intent beyond a single track
- Improve discovery of like-minded artists and remix opportunities
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
There's an option for that available. The creators can choose up to five styles and present them above the profile description. If the preferred genres change, the user just has to alter the description.
You do this via Edit Profile:
Add up to 5 genres to describe your music style. If this is empty, the genres will be inferred from your most popular songs
I’ve noticed this available for the webpage but it’s not available for IOS
Maybe put it in the suggestions for IOS then? I don't use Suno on my phone (avoid the apps like the plague). I can't make songs there. 😅
I certainly will and thank you 🙏🏻. I use the iOS app primarily because it offers an extend functionality Ui that is exclusive to iOS version 😩
we still cant even arrange the Pinned songs ... on our own Page ... its ridiculous.... :/
Suno, can yall redefine the layout for the library, for instance, more ways to sort and organize songs and tracks, would mean more to us than ever, like making a file selection, where songs aren’t just continually piled up in one giant render library, but instead, would prompt you to create a new file specifically for a new song you want to generate, for that song alone - including any and all extensions or sections of that same song within that file, that way everything for one song, stays in one organized folder / file, and the files are stored in a preferred chosen layout of users choice, “large, small, extra large, mini, similar to a desktop file layout, but in a modern sleek format, - and just clean up the overall experience for creating songs, for an amazing generation experience, that way, we get on our accounts right, and upon going to the create section, we are given the prompt to “create new folder” and I’m not talking about the current “workspace” situation, I’m talking about actual separate files / folders for “specific song only content” that way I can simply close a certain song file, and it keeps everything nice and tidy within that folder alone, not just stacked on each other in a messy library, and I can create a new folder / file for a new song that I want to start, - okay cool, - then, I wanted to point out a proposal - to design and implement a completely separate sub Suno model category of sounds, - a sub Suno version that is specifically trained on super duper high quality sounds and audio, for a premium, - a version that would be a given selection that is simply and specifically designed for ultra high quality sounds and renders, a versions not just trained on a whole plethora of random sounds, but a specific genre model that is uniquely designed to cater to users preferences, each sound, for users to get super defined with their sound, choices. 👍🏼✨🙂
Hey my SUNO fam...on our Profiles, we need the Featured songs section completely within the control of the user. Right now if you "Pin to Profile" it's a cluster lol. I think it used to put the most recently pinned at the far left...which while that's still less control than needed, you at least could play tetris by pinning and un-pinning to get the order you want. Now it just puts them in totally random order when you pin them. Not useful at all for a "Featured Songs" section.
Yeah the playlists, along with regional trending (which in my opinion matters more than global since it affects a lot more people, was a great stepping stone for beginners) they completely shut down visibility, I honestly don't beleive it can stay like this. I mean currently what's the point of upvoting, giving your support to a playlist or a song, it does absolutely nothing.
can upls add paypal or banking called Ideal we cant use creditcard plsss add paypal at least
How about being able to change the order of songs in a playlist.
Now the trendings are completely gone, even the direct link https://suno.com/trending doesn't work. Probably time to say goodbye....🙁
I just discovered I hadn't seen 2 notices in What's New. (I read them on the Discord, anyway). But I would suggest that What's New is more important than Labs. And there is plenty of space for everything on the More list to be displayed without having More
How difficult would it be for you guys to add a "SOUNDS" tab to the Library page? I think all Sounds created with Suno "Sounds" feature are tagged with an icon. So... can we just create a Sounds tab in the Library and have all the audio in our library that was made with Suno Sounds (and has a tag already) to be found there?
Some users still don't know it's a feature.
A filter for sounds would be nice too, but the a Library tab would be great for now. Maybe not as easy as it sounds. (Pun wasn't intended, but made me laugh on proofread.) It is very difficult to locate sounds and usually want to make lots of them to find a good one.
Also, I am not trying to sound sarcastic in this. ☮️
Why did the profile page get these unnecessary changes?
Please bring the 10 pins back. This new mode reduces the displayed songs to 9. 👀 And you only see one of the pinned songs.
We are getting to reaching ZERO visibility on Suno (even on one's own profile!). This is terrible. And I can't change the placement of the profile sections like before. The artist description is at the bottom. Why?! 🫣
I want to display my best songs and not keep people guessing or letting them see just one. Again. Why?
New profile page:
-Songs are tiny hard to see the images.
-Why have the artists banner at the bottom of the page? Should be at the top!
-Pinned songs displays one and it's huge, why? At least let me set the order of display, but better yet don't reduce it down to only one visible song!
-I would like to have the likes displayed again, I found it helpful to view on the profile page and not have to literally open every individual song to it's own page
Edit Ah I just saw that if I expand to see all my songs likes are showing there 🤔
I need to know which songs are in my custom models, please consider this.
Dear Suno Team,
The new profile page has a serious problem, it only uses 50% on my 43", and in the remaining 50%, it only displays one song. Are you designing for mobile only?
Suggestions:
- Make use of the whole screen on desktop.
- The play progress bar should use the whole screen width.
- Display all pinned songs at once. NO ONE will use scroll buttons to scroll through songs, they must be visible at a glance.
- Better: Remove the limit on pinned songs, make them multi-row, or add an option to just sort ALL your songs for display, and of this sorted list display the first n songs as "pinned".
The lastest changes to the profile page reduce its utility to near zero, everything is tiny, most screen real estate is completely wasted.
why if on the same pc we log in with discord we get the new ui, but if we log in with google we get the old layout? also remove the remix icon from peoples songs who have remix turned off! (basically if i log in with discord I can steal any song on suno and make it mine... really?!?!?)
the mobile layout on a PC must die
sorry for not "being positive", but I've been reporting this to support for months with zero acknowledgement from a human, and this waste of space is, frankly, ridiculous
Have you tried rotating your screen so it becomes a giant phone?
See? Looks perfect when you rotate the screen.
very helpful, thanks👍
I have not
Glad to be helpful. Hope it works better for you this way.
Although its obviously meant as a joke, please consider that rotating a screen 90 degrees gives blurry or jagged text because the subpixel layout of most screens are horizontal stripes of tiny RGB LEDs, and font subpixel rendering is optimized for these hotizontal RGB LED stripes.
Really? I wonder why so many coders tend to use screens this way if it makes everything so blurry? Or why it was so popular in IRC days to rotate the screen to get a longer view of chat?
Not saying you're wrong. Just surprised. Anyway a different perspective on the whole new Profile thing.
Hmm...(Offtopic) but now I'm going to have to reconsider my dream of getting a GPD Pocket, since those screens are all rotated.
Really. I've used screens for a LOONG time this way and the effect is noticable, especially for smaller fonts. There are several wikipedia articles about it which I would link, but linking external sites here is not welcome. If you consider ancient IRC times (I've been there too 🙂 ), these were CRT tubes which do not exhibit this effect (Tho I cannot remember anyone tilting a CRT, so maybe your ancient times are not THAT ancient 🤣 ). It's mainly a problem for RGB LED stripe displays (not all use stripes, but MANY do).
How does this impact tablets? I tend to use mine in reversed so it's vertical rather than horizontial. Am I hurting my eyes?
I think tablets do not use stripes... that's kind of the reason they have a hexagonal layout of subpixels.
Maybe that's why no one complains about the GPD Pocket? Still something to think about.
Some tablets also have a diamond layout where subpixel rendering is too hard to calculate so they just go with the high resolution. Interesting.
new layout is lame. put the three dots back on the songs page. made the UX Worse. Show more than 1 featured song.
anyone reading this..please, know that.....
using carousels in UI/UX has been proven to be a bad design pattern for almost a decade
Feedback: Please stop using carousels in the UI.
Carousels are proven to be one of the least effective UI patterns for actual engagement. Usability research from the University of Notre Dame found that 84% of clicks stay on the first slide, and only 1% of visitors interact with them at all.
By burying features or information in a carousel, you’re basically making them invisible to the majority of the community. It adds friction, causes "banner blindness," and is a nightmare for accessibility. Please consider a "bento-style" grid or a static hero banner instead so we can actually see what’s new without having to hunt for it.
all our songs are now unpublished until this is sorted.
Allow us the option to upload 2 different sizes of artwork for a song?. One for use on Suno itself, and alternate artwork which is used on embedds and other places that use the song artwork. One artwork that is 9:16, and the other is 1:1. It kinda sucks seeing my nice artwork partially cutoff on Suno's page/videos, but they view perfectly fine when embedded.
Or Allow us to pick the aspect ratio we can have our song artworks displayed. Either a 9:16 Ratio, or 1:1.
Do you have an example track where remixing is enabled inspite of remixing being shown as disabled?
are you from suno? i don't want to share where it is for the whole world to see.
I know everybody else has said it but wow the new user profiles are hideous. The only part I like is having more vertical space on the banner, that's it. Using a phone layout on desktop makes me want to invert my stomach.
there is also now a banner on iphone app says 'Introducing Remixing, Remix any Suno track, not just you own' so....
good news, so today, when i try a remix from the method, I now get an error messages stating we don't have permission from the owner. So i think its sorted! ty for your time all.
I don't think the profile introduction should be at the bottom of the profile. That doesn't make any sense.
Also why aren't we able to choose what is displayed or the order of it anymore? That was such a nice feature.
If anything we should have gotten more control over the layouts of our profiles, not this weird mobile streamlining. Smoothbraining as I'll call it. I want to be able to properly format the bio section and I want to be able to explain playlists better without somebody clicking into them to read each individually. I dread what horrible layout they're going to change the create page to now, because the last several changes have already been terrible. I hate the new sidebars we've had for months that aren't resizable on the right side any more and the ridiculously wasteful use of space where nothing fits vertically even on a 4k monitor but literally all of the width of the screen goes unused.
Would be nice if we had an option to share songs from specific users in our profiles, have something like a feed, or artist suggestions, something like that.
a randomize button for my playlists would be 🔥
I'd really like a "custom tags" feature that I can add to my tracks to allow me to better differentiate different tracks. In a workspace list of 100 different versions of the same song using different settings, different custom models, different voices, different genres, etc it can be very difficult to quickly identify which are which. Other examples... being able to tag songs as great intros (even if the rest of the song is not great) , having more granularity than just the thumbs up/down, tagging genres (rock/pop/etc).
Ideally, the custom tags would work in the following way:
- Custom name
- Custom colour
- Only able to be added to my own songs
- Only visible to me
- Filterable
- Fully visible in song lists (for my songs)
- Visible in song view, etc
I second this!!!! Current naming scheme I am using (perhaps others to... if not feel free it does help me.) and well... OMG this sucks, I tend to forget to change model names if I "try" to build on different model and then, go back rename idk say 10 takes (totally take me outta the grove) and hope I remember if I didn't just keep generating new songs thinking I was still on same model!
SUNSHiNE-HSM-T13-C7-i1-C1
Lets break it down..
SUNSHiNE <- Song name duh
HSM <- Custom model name shorthand
T13 <- 13th take or "new" generated song
C7 <- Cover 7 of 13th song
i1 <- Inspiration take of the 7th cover of take 13
C1 <- Cover 1 of inspiration 1 of cover 7 of take 13
And that's a short one! 😭
The latest Bug Report is not as good as the previous one, being able to type out exactly what's wrong is the best. The current options for problems just don't convey why a song might actually be bad...."I just don't like it" doesn't describe the problem...
They don't want written complaints which highlight the issues 🤣
IOS and Android apps are totally different from each other needs the same layout.
Because of how difficult workspaces are to navigate when I'm trying to find songs, I tend to open songs in new tabs in my browser so that I can see which ones I want to bash together. That makes it really annoying to later add several together as inspirations since every page goes to a new create window. I don't know how to make that smoother, but if everything I have is named the exact same thing it's not like I can easily search for tracks either.
I still think there needs to be a better way to control generation length, at least for instrumental tracks. I'm struggling to get anything longer than 90 seconds, and it's ridiculous because they cost the same as a 7 minute track and if I want it longer I have to spend the full cost of a new two tracks just to get an extension. It feels like wasted credits every time.
It would be nice when you are not working a workspace, and you get the full list of songs, it would include (workspace) beside it.. many of us like to organize our songs.
bring back listview for our main songs page...I don't understand why that option would be removed, also bring the back the ability to click the style for the song in the thumbnail view under the main page, I like to be able to go the style list by going to my profile then click on the sytle under one of the songs visible in the recent songs list
Please revert the new profile page. Its so awful 🙁
why does it have an option to leave a caption but cuts off the caption if its longer then the text box for entry...even though there is so much blank space next to it..........i mean come on man....thats poor design for desktop users not turtle-necking on phone screens
I finally got the new profile page, and the pinned song design is incredibly awful. Sorry. Please fix.
I really wonder who at Suno was like - YES this is better!
It is fine, except for the pinned section. It just makes no sense.
The point isn't to improve, it's to make it different. Drives engagement numbers. The only thing that matters is the spreadsheet. Besides, if they attract more phone users, that's a much bigger pool of financially illiterate people who will dump money into the pit.
For some reason we are back to square-ish art formatting on profile pages only? So inconsistent throughout the site
Everything takes up more space than it has to take.
I can't even imagine using the site on a 1080p screen. On a 4k screen at 100% zoom, nothing crazy, I can barely see everything at once and yet I have ten miles of empty void on either side of a pool of featureless cards.
Looks like I'm scrolling Pinterest.
Sounds like standard 2026 design
you think?
I find it in every way awful
We can get out our CRT monitors again. Design made for 4:3 monitors
Cover images very very small
impossible to feature a new song because of that damn carousel picking random song. Only 5 songs in the queue, only 1 song at once visible
profile description at the very bottom
Its incredible terrible
There is only one good thing: My characters on my profile banner are not halfway cut off anymore. the persons are now fully visible. And I like the profile banner animation when opening the profile
But thats it. All the rest is in my opinion absolutely terrible and the worst possible way to marketing your songs
There's crap hidden in drop-down menus when it takes up 10% of an empty bar, there's gigantic empty featureless areas, every button looks like a swollen toe with a tiny little ant of text inside it.
I won't be surprised when they begin rolling out new features only for mobile users since they aren't interested in making a 16:9 or 16:10 format usable by those of us who possess a frontal cortex.
also interesting how at featured songs the cover images are finally following the 1:1 standard, but the rest of Suno is still 9:16
someone at Suno loves the phone way too much it seems like
Everything is a rectangle inside a square inside another rectangle, but they've helpfully rounded the edges off with foam pool noodles so we can't hurt outselves.
Here Suno if you want another idea for how to help us burn through our credits faster, how about allowing us to make landscape banners for our featured songs category? Or all categories for that matter.
Animated banners even.
Why not profile backgrounds?
Just make every part of user profiles a giant flashing epilepsy risk, that'll draw in the TikTok crowd.
i mean i have no idea why you wanted to hide the style of song in the songs view...so basically all I or anyone in my song list can do is see a partial song title....a partial persona name...and a huge ass 👎 thumbnail...that seems to be now the most important thing about a song...you know that subpar default ai thumbnail you get from a combination of song title and lyrics and style. We lost the list view giving details, we didn't get any sorting of song in any meaningful way...to what end?👎 [exclusively PC user]
the big cover images should be at main profile page, but there theyre now all tiny
And you can’t even swipe with your finger 😭 or at least I can’t…
I do use a mobile phone, but I also got this absolutely awful new design. This probably means I won't be publishing anything anymore and my subscription is expiring.😡😥
The fact that the new layout looks creepy is one thing, but the fact that the captions aren't displayed anymore and I'm asked to insert a "new" caption —isn't that more of a bug?
I would like to take this opportunity to express my great dissatisfaction regarding the recent developments concerning the layout of the Suno website on a widescreen desktop PC, as the developers seem to be designing the layout solely for users of the mobile website. As far as I am concerned, the old layout as it was before these radical changes was perfect. First, the home page was changed, making the 'For You', 'Following', and 'Trending' tracks very cluttered; consequently, this page has become unusable for me since then, meaning I no longer look at it. However, with the change to our profile pages, a line has truly been crossed that I deeply regret, and for which I call for these desktop changes to be reversed. Here is what is going wrong with the new profile page that was previously completely fine:
-
The overall problem is that the profile page no longer utilizes the full widescreen format of a monitor, causing all elements to appear very small.
-
The banner at the top of the page no longer extends from left to right, making the banner appear very small.
-
The bio and the genres specified for your profile are located at the bottom of your profile instead of at the top, where it not makes sense for those discovering your profile to know what to expect from a creator.
-
Pinning first 10 and later (unfortunately) 9 songs to your profile has been replaced by a carousel that you have to click to go to the next song, which is confusing and very unpleasant for those visiting your profile and for yourself.
-
The cover art and the full song titles under the "Songs" heading have become so small that you can no longer see what is depicted without having to squint.
-
The cover art and the full playlist titles under the "Playlist" heading have become so small that you can no longer see what is depicted without having to squint.
-
The disappearance of the button on the profile page to alternate between recent and top 9 songs.
-
Displaying 5 hooks instead of the 10 you could previously set.
-
The disappearance of the ability to view the cover video directly on your profile without clicking on a song, but by hovering over it
-
The function to sort the categories on your profile of your choice
In short, as far as I am concerned, none of the changes have benefited desktop users, so I would like to request that all these changes, which represent a deterioration in every respect, be reversed.
I see that even more complaints about the redesign of the profile page have come in today, and I completely agree with you all and gladly join in.
Totally agree
to express our dissatisfaction about it in this channel and to call for a revert to the old profile layout on PCs
can`t agree more and have made it also visible in suggestions-web the other day
#💡┃suggestions-web message
and additionally:
The new layout is actually stopping me from exploring or browsing through the creator pages like before.
I don’t want to have to scroll all the way to the bottom just to see who did what, why, and how.
Doomscrolling is absolutely not my cup of tea either.
And I still don’t understand, given all the well-known bugs and issues, why changing the layout so drastically is considered higher priority than, for example, preventing 7:59 bug-songs, the unwanted shimmering, the strange noises and scratches in many tracks, or the incorrect pronunciation in almost all languages.
Also came to express dissatisfaction with the new layout of the profile page. I am on desktop. Not a fan of changing the way pinned songs are displayed, now being a carousel that you have to scroll through to see them rather having them all displayed when first clicking into the profile. Kind of defeats the purpose of pinning the songs to try make them stand out. The song cover images for the rest of the list are now much smaller and again, this stops them from standing out, and the video covers no longer play when hovering over them. And if anything, it has gone backwards in terms of customisation. We ideally should have the ability to order our songs in whichever way we like but at least I could choose whether to order them by most recent or most popular. Now it just defaults to most recent and I couldn't see an option to change it. Rather than changing the website to be focused on mobile users, it would make more sense to put more effort into fixing up the app for mobile users, and then leaving the website optimised for desktop users.
What the hell is that new unlock your sound banner on the create page? and is there a way to remove it permanently? I am not here to collect fake trophies.
and just to add to this it is so poorly implemented as well, to even see all of the "Accomplishments" you have to close all the side bars just to see them. feeling better already about having cancelled my account.
This new layout direction is absolutely terrible...please for the love of god roll it back. Whoever is making these web layout decisions should be fired...
temporary workaround, half window mode, 80% or 90% zoom is what I am doing
The new layout is awful, as others have already mentioned. What I find particularly bad is that the music genre is no longer displayed. This means you can no longer immediately see which songs you'd be interested in listening to based on their musical style. And because the images are so small, they're no longer helpful either.😠
Un toggle and delete the words then replace with a period or something or it will come back.
This 100% over and over and over.
some people prefer the small images...our complaint as desktop users is the images are too big (it's different then the mobile view...i can get your mobile view if i change the window to a half window or split screen mode...and i actually prefer that view for my desktop view than the app style too big thumb nails)...its as if they almost crossed their wires and give the app users the desktop release and the desktop users the app's release...but that is a different level of suno being suno ...if it were true
please make other payment method to subsciption like alipay or qr code or gcash
Question: If a user has multiple custom models, is there any indication provided to specify which custom model was utilized for the generated song?
I have a suggestion. Swap the design of Hooks and Pinned songs. You want to describe what a hook is, you want to showcase the cover art of your pinned songs. So naturally, swap the design for them. Seems like the easiest fix. I would also suggest increasing it back to a top ten, because a top five just is bad in my mind.
with the changes to how the pinned songs are displayed now, which looks nice gj but; because it's now just one at a time, what I'm replying to here is now an even much more destructive "feature quirk".. nvm me gj
They are not excluded from songs, they just aren't placed at the top anymore. The curation of songs kind of disappears when you check songs. I've been thinking about if I should unpublish my entire library of songs and then publish them in the order I want them seen, because apparently they show in order of published, not order of creation.
In my mind that is the only option left if I want a return of curation.
oh damn ur right, yeah I do see them now nvm me
its weird tho the order of the pinned songs are different when I'm logged in compared to if I look at my profile in incognito tab lol
Absolutely agree with Seb. The new layout is horrible, the new pinned sequence is illogical, the fact that you can't even move things around or choose how you want your profile to look is frankly unacceptable.
It's been about 2 months that things are just going downhill - the creativity and versatility of the new models, the way the profiles look, engagement in general... and FUN above all... just downhill
Honestly thinking of unsubscribing until it gets better
I'm not publishing anything anymore; unfortunately, I have an annual subscription that still has a few months to run. I see no point in visiting this ghost town as an invisible visitor. 😞
Tragedies with the UI aside, I'm having a lot of fun with the model personally. Just is kind of invisible atm, but it is what it is. My exposure to my work is entirely based on external suno communities now.
6 more months to go on my annual Premier subscription. Had I known...
Yes, I took advantage of the special offer for Premium last year, partly because it said that unlimited downloads would only be possible with Premium in the future. Now I'm very annoyed, also by the inconsiderate way they handled it and the lack of communication. And then they want the community to support Suno in a competition...🤨
hate the new layout
The new profile layout is garbage. When I publish a song I hardly even want to pin it. I guess it fits with the useless home page now. Ever since trending was removed I don't even look at it. 20% off annual sub right now, I hope that don't mean things are about to get even worse.
Homepage is the same garbage yeah
trending still exists, www.suno.com/trending
and trending songs are still trash ai slop lyrics like this one i just saw: Static humming in my veins, yeah it’s getting louder
Shadows stretching on the walls like they’ve got the power
i mean if you like trending music, you don't have good taste in music...facts
Nah LF playlists
I don't just want to complain, so here's a constructive suggestion: How about, instead of the pointless carousel, giving users the option to present various songs by other artists that they currently like? I wouldn't mind if I couldn't pin my own songs anymore.🙂
I wish they would make it customizable. That could include a few different styles and positioning of different sections. That would help cater to everyone's preferences. The current design is definitely not ideal.
and trending songs are still trash ai slop lyrics
Of course. Because spamming slop = High Quantity is what makes people find you
Quality content goes under which is sad.
spamming slop makes people see you, the people are annoyed by slop and dont know its possible better either, because they only see the spam
So yes the guy who publishes one or more songs a day will reach people and not the one doing the quality high effort song once a month
I wish instead of a garbage pinned song carousel, they invented something new to spice up pages. Like here's an idea: split playlists into two different features on profiles: the same playlists we already have, and then something like a "label." They could even brand it as a way for multiple creators to get together and collab and release into one pool, but I would simply use it to bin my music into different genre-specific groupings. I don't just make one thing. I experiment with all genres. If somebody only wants to hear my metal music, or only wants to hear my downtempo or orchestral or EDM crap, they could just follow my "labels" for the genres they like. And eventually, I could invite other people to my "label" or they could invite me or something.
I would like to: 1) added the ability to search by song on the user's page so that they don't search for it in the general search. 2), the ability to write messages to users, both on social networks and on forums, and not just in comments. 3) to make a free suno v5 model, but with the added control sliders feature. and add something new to the paid version instead.
- I absolutely DISLIKE the pinned song carousel. Worst decision ever. It was much better before.
- Yes, a messaging system would be great! I really don't like to communicate with others by having to post messages in the comments under my songs or theirs, especially since everyone can see them.
I think the collective opinion of Suno users is that the pinned songs in a carousel style click through is a bad layout decision/design
Seeing only one track is annoying, before at least we could sort the order so our best/favorite featured track was first up
bring back the persona tag in home page song list
Bumping this again cause it needs to be addressed. Easier to delete than address it huh?
Yesterday my bumping was deleted, too. If I handled complaints like that in my profession, all hell would break loose...🙄
Here is the link. Anyone who finds the new layout and other "improvements" terrible should read this.
As someone who has been both in community management on a large scale and done customer service for various tech giants around the world, It's strange to see non of this get addressed in anyway shape or form. I would get raked across the coals by my old bosses if we somehow avoided answering and give some sort of acknowledgement that the customer has been heard. Because yes, we are customers not just "users" we pay for this service and we should expect a minimum of acknowledgement and transparency.
They are hiring: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/suno
No thanks.
I don't understand it either. People here aren't hostile towards Suno; in fact, they love it. After every online purchase, you're constantly begged and pestered to give feedback, yet here people give it voluntarily and in large quantities. And what surprises me most is that I initially thought no one would read this. While I wouldn't have liked that, I would have found it less annoying than the current situation, because now, due to the deletion of posts and the sporadic replies to other topics, I know that people are indeed reading along. They've simply chosen to ignore the whole thing or wait it out...
It seem this is the strategy they are going with. Which is really sad, as I love SUNO, it has let me find a side of myself I never knew I had (a writer) I would never have known I had that in me without SUNO, I would never have been able to develop my own distinct sound design without SUNO. I owe a lot to SUNO in terms of finding myself. And it's disheartening to see they choose to ignore the core-users over chasing dying metrics and numbers that in the long run change and die in place of new trends, alienating their loyal users in the same foul sweep.
You're absolutely right! Please excuse the slightly delayed reply; I just had to give the squirrel in the garden some nuts. That's somehow more productive than this. The squirrel always gives me feedback...😆
As a moderator I often remind myself that despite being a fan, I only get to use the software. I am only a volunteer here. Suno the company is run and owned by others.
The people who own it and who work there, they are the ones who make the decisions. It's their company. They get the rewards and the downsides whatever those may end up being.
I am with you Hepcat, this is a multifaceted problem. But I feel this is one the community can solve WITH the people at SUNO, we are not asking for the world to change.
No we're telling Suno that we don't like their design choices. That's worse.
It'd be like walking into someone's house and insulting their decor.
Hey, maybe it is easier to change the world 🤣
No, it's not their house; they've made it publicly accessible. It's more like the pub next door that you no longer go to because of the renovations with the uncomfortable plastic chairs and garish wall paint.😆
It wasn't me who removed the post but as a suggestion to maybe avoid its removal, try making a condensed version next time you want to re-express yourself on this issue. That way it doesn't feel like a wall of text being spammed.
This will also show that you're dedicating effort and energy to the issue instead of just forwarding it and maybe will inspire others to join the discussion?
Swear they already had community people
I've been telling them that for almost two years
Here to keep that discussion alive I'll make my own suggestions on how to lay out profiles better instead of the mobile-on-desktop experience:
- First off, if you want to be really lazy, two-column it. Creator info and their voices/pinned songs on the left column, and then their playlists and "loose" songs on the right column. That way pins are always visible. If the person's screen is too narrow to display the two columns, then they're simply combined into the same column and it's exactly how it is now.
- If we go one step further than that, I'd like to see catalogues for the creator's different moods/genres. At least let us sort a single creator's songs by tags, give an optional tag-cloud view or something.
- Pinned songs need to be less of a carousel/21st-century-Rolodex and more of a person's "Greatest hits." 10 pins? 5 pins? Why not just let a person pin up to something like 25 and leave it up to them if they want to actually pin that many or keep it a smaller number?
- Even if we don't change playlists at all, I still think it'd be useful to let people organize their playlists better. I want to make albums. I want to make soundtracks. I want to make mixtapes. These don't have to functionally be any different from the playlists we already have, but if I could sort them on my profile that way I feel like it'd explain my intentions with my music better. Let people pin playlists too if they have a bunch.
- As for profile customization, why not let creators choose if they have pinned songs up top or pinned Hooks? I hate Hooks, but since they're not going away I think there's an opportunity to let people choose what they want to show off. If our two-column view is a thing, then that means if you put Hooks right under your profile thingy on the left side then your pinned songs will be on the top right side, and vice-versa.
- Let people share remixes of their songs made by other users, possibly in a little showcase section.
- Speaking of showcases, why not let people show off their custom voices, custom models, favorite prompts, maybe let people share stems in a separate way from songs? Make that into a more interesting thing on profiles than just "Here's some voices, whatever."
Bring back the persona tag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After they ruined persona with voice, now they took another thing i love about persona, it's the persona tag information on the small song card displayed on the home page and profile page.
We used to see song title - creator name - persona tag - play count - genre
NOW PERSONA TAG IS GONE!!!!!
SUNO IS BEING SUNO, RUINING THINGS EVEN IT'S A LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTERS TO USER
RUINING THING TO THE MAX
You don't need to yell, we can hear you.
Can they stop changing the UI for covers. It looks bad, not portrait during when I am create section
Currently, when generating dozens of versions, it’s convenient to mark liked tracks using the “like” feature. However, in practice, among these liked versions, there is often a need to further highlight 2–3 final candidates — the best of the best.
At the moment, pinning can be used for this purpose, but it has some limitations:
- pinned tracks are simply duplicated in a separate panel, which is not always convenient when dealing with many generations;
- pinning is not integrated into the filtering system, so it’s not possible to quickly filter only these “final” selections.
In this regard, I would suggest adding an additional level of rating, for example: - a “double like” or “super like”;
- or a separate marker (such as a crown icon 👑) to indicate final selections.
It would be important for this marker to: - be displayed on tracks similarly to the like button;
- be supported in filters (e.g., show only top-selected tracks);
- allow quick access to the best versions among already liked ones.
And if a track is marked as "champion," then you need to protect the dislike button - make this button inaccessible.
Such a feature would greatly simplify the workflow when working with many generations and make the final selection process more intuitive and efficient.
Or a five Star rating System for own use only (Not public).
Your suggestion is even better )) —I do it that way: I add a rating on a 5-point scale to the file name. But this is "unsportsmanlike" )) It should be built-in.
A comment (also private) is needed to highlight the track's strengths and weaknesses. Better yet, two separate comments: one for weaknesses (and notes on areas for improvement), and one for strengths.
I believe that both systems should be used simultaneously: both ratings and the "champion" mark, since it happens (in my experience personally) that several tracks have 5 points at once, but only 1-2 make it to the final. And when you give a track a "5," you don't know in advance how many such tracks there will be or which of them will be the most successful. If you don't use the champion designation, you'll have to adjust all the ratings, leaving only one or two "5"s, and that's also not very convenient.
I am absolute agree with that. 5 star system for the work process rating and the king marker for: "Ok that's it" 👍
Developers are probably holding back from introducing new features out of concern that the interface will be overloaded and that most users, who use SUNO less professionally, will be dissatisfied. It's necessary to create a customizable interface: leave the default interface exactly as it is now, but in the settings, provide the ability to select additional elements - ratings, the "championship" sign, comments, and a host of other improvements. Then more experienced users can customize the interface to suit themselves, ensuring everything they need and nothing they don't.
Could just add to the title and then filter
Yes, that's an option, until they implement a standard, convenient mechanism. I simply add "[f]" to the track name—which means "final." But it's still inconvenient and unreliable.
I see no indication of rollbacks to recent UI changes, here is my 2c:
- Making major changes to the UI of a tool/website is not a good idea unless the changes are bringingin substantial new features. In the case of recent changes to the Suno home page and Suno profile pages, the changes are clearly NOT bringing in any new features or value, therefore, it is no surprise to see the strong negative reaction from users. Customers are losing something they are familiar with, and in the case of profile pages, they are using a layout they may have spent time on arranging to their liking and functionality. Even if we leave important aspects like functionality, easy access, and aesthetics aside, the fact that new layouts for the Suno pages are not bringing in any new features or value is sufficient to classify them as wasted engineering effort that triggers customer aggravation. Any sane company would not make such a mistake - look at Amazon, they have been using basically the same website layout for decades with only minor changes.
- The new layouts fail miserably in terms of basic information presentation and ease of use. On the desktop, the home page layout is a monument to bad UI design, with lots of empty wasted space, images too small to see even on a large high resolution display, and multiple clicks/page loads required to access content. The profile page is even worse. The carousel like behavior of the the new profile page that shows only one pinned song is a disaster in information display. If the browser window has enough space to display large images of 6, 8 or 10 pinned songs, why switch to a carousel that only shows one song (with a very smal cover image) and require the viewer to have to click to see the next song. Why not let the profile owner pin 10 (or even more songs) and just show however many fits in the available space and carousel the rest? If you want to add value, give users more options to organize/present their conent, not less.
I completely agree (even though it will ultimately make no difference, I fear).🙄
the new profile is such a poor use of white space. clearly designed mobile first and disregarding the web users. instead of fitting 5-6 large thumbnails (that people sometimes put a lot of effort into making look cool) a long blurry strip that covers the entire row.
I figured out a "hack" to make the new song preview panel a bit more useful: Open your browser dev tools and remove the width and height properties from the class .css-1fghomw .
What I don't understand is that responsive, scalable design for frontend has been in use for years now.
Meaning that the same website reshapes itself for: desktop, tablet, mobile, etc.
Using flexible layouts, media queries, scalable images. This responsive design
has been a standard for a long time now, yet I don't see it here at all.
Maybe the design is only meant for mobile phones now, my friend. But I mostly use my phone too, and it looks awful there as well, for example, the images are unrecognizable. I've lost the desire to publish. 🙁
this suggestion would really help a lot:
put a simplified mini piano roll only to help guide the AI instruments correctly to fix the part of the song that was made incorrectly in Pro Editor. it's veeeeeeeery frustrating when you know exactly how to fix the song, but you don't know how to explain to AI how to do it. That piano roll would be a great solution to that.
The goal is to allow users to provide MIDI data (either via upload or a simple UI) to serve as a structural "anchor" for the generation process.
Instead of the AI having full creative freedom over the melody, this feature would work similarly to a "Replace Fixed" logic, but for MIDI input. The AI would interpret the MIDI notes and adapt its generated instruments to follow that specific melodic and harmonic path.
Suno scales coverimages with nearest neighbor and you ask for that xD
The new profile view is kind of lacking features from earlier versions. The about section is now at the bottom - and no chance to move it back to the top.
WHY THIS MATTERS: It is not possible to show the most important information at the top of the page any more. And way too few users scroll down to the bottom of the profile page.
they tried best efforts to make it maximal bad, instead good. Thats how it looks like
I mean absolutely every element was changed in a way that its maximal bad. profile description at bottom, tiny cover images, just 1 and even random song featured, narrow like a phone on PC, song titles cut short with no full title shown on mouse over, every element is made maximal terrible
profile description at bottom 🤦♂️
What bothers me immensely about the new UI is that you can't identify the song genre, meaning you can't specifically search for songs that might interest you. There are song genres I don't particularly like, and when I'm short on time, I primarily want to listen to music in genres I enjoy. With the new UI, clicking on songs then becomes a matter of pure chance.🙁
I updated the info with a little more of details
one of the things that I hope Suno does is a desktop version (to make it easier, using electronJS that already allows using HTML to make desktop application).
If this really exists one day, you could take advantage of the desktop structure to make a cheaper Suno Plans option where Suno projects are saved locally on the computer (logic is simple, using less cloud storage service makes it cheaper) to make a cheaper version of the Suno Song tools.
I want to reiterate the absolutely unfortunate situation with the new UI. It should be obvious to everyone that placing the profile at the very bottom is simply a bad solution. The lack of customization options and this pointless carousel should also be changed. Furthermore, PC users are complaining about a "mobile phone look." I primarily use my phone, and the no-longer-recognizable thumbnails are incredibly annoying, as I put a lot of care into my photos and videos, and all that effort is currently wasted. It's also extremely frustrating that the music genre is no longer displayed in other users' song lists, preventing me from easily selecting which song I'm interested in listening to. I haven't found anyone who likes the new UI; it's completely demotivating and ruins the enjoyment of Suno. I myself will be switching from the Premium plan to Pro or Free, as I simply don't need 10,000 credits in the current situation. Unfortunately, my subscription runs until November, but I've already canceled it.😞
SUGGESTION: The new "Featured Song" section on the profile is a major step backwards.
- You have half the songs
- It takes up so much blank space
- The captions you can add are too short
- It makes it harder - not easier - to see what songs I've missed by a user. I wind up going to all songs.
- It defeats the purpose of showcasing a song if you can't see them
- It doesn't look good.
I really see no positives.
What would be much better is a way to customize this section the way you want. Layout options, perhaps 1 song takes 2 tiles, and the rest are 1 tile. Just give the user 10 tiles and let them make what they want.
But at the very least the old way was much better.
I wonder why this STILL isnt reverted yet. When everyone hates it, this would be the most logical way to do and should take the least effort to do
I have a feeling they sit it out until we give up
We only move forward, but feedback is always taken into account for future designs.
but you moved backwards 180° with this design 😄
I wonder why this did need feedback in the first place to realize that
who came up with this design and thought it is good?
Unfortunately, I can't express my opinion on this server, as I would certainly be illegally banned for violating the server rules.
So I'll just support those who have spoken out.
every single element is made in the most terrible way on this design and the absolute worst way to marketing your songs, dont you see that?
I dont understand how you thought:
- Presenting just 1 (even random) song in tiny size is better than the big 10 featured songs we had before with own sort order
- having profile description at the very bottom
- having the songtitles cut off and mouseover over the title doesnt show full name either
- having it so narrow that you feel on a phone on PC
- [...]
ah damn I repeat everything now, but I dont understand why you dont realize that yourself, I dont understand how someone at you suno devs thought this is an improvement. I just dont get it
Life is full of mysteries.
yeah sorry its frustraing that I have to give my followers now the songs in discord, because the design fails to show them properly
the previous design was perfectly fine
I get it. Believe me. I'd say, as long as people keep the focus on the product, and don't drift over into the team, all feedback is good.
an improvement wouldve been: Keeping the old design but:
- Make the sort order of the pinned songs changable via drag&drop
- possibility to arrange and create own categories like you can do on youtube (e.g. for presenting an album)
Make it better, not worse please.
It's also important to understand some decisions don't make sense at the time, but are part of a longer term vision that will make sense later.
That vision might be months away, but it's all built piece by piece.
and you love phones too much. I cant say it often enough
9:16 cover images while the albumcover standard was forever 1:1 with good reason
9:16 videos - why? :/
now the profile page narrow like on a phone
🙁
and please make the cover images bigger on profile page. Why is it so tiny?
even that one featured song is now tiny xD
I mean yes if you just showcase a person on your cover, then 9:16 shows more, but in all other cases than portraits, it shows less because the width is so limited. Especially on videos.
In an ideal world the cover/videoplayer would adjust to the uploaded aspect ratio like my tampermonkey script does or youtube does in windowed mode.
The Suno devs seem way too focused on “improving” profiles and publishing features—while actually making them worse. Meanwhile, requests for quality-of-life features in the generation tools are still being ignored.
Please show credits again in their full, unrounded values so we can clearly see how much we actually have left at a glance. Add the requested rating features so we can evaluate our own versions and keep track of them.
Stop making the UI worse. And please don’t forget about desktop users—we don’t want a mobile-style interface!
Then show us your vision—bring us along so we can understand it. Why keep it such a secret? Or finish the UI before releasing it so there’s less room for misunderstandings. It might also be better if you posted fewer challenge pings in the update channels and shared more actual updates instead.
I also think it's important to consider who you want as a user base. In my experience, a significant portion of the active users are no longer students. They are respectable, working professionals who can afford the premium subscription, want to interact with each other, and have no interest in illegal activities like copyright infringement, hate speech, or similar issues that caused Suno problems. The current UI is driving these users away; I can't stress this enough. It's as if they're trying to create a new user base of 15-year-old smartphone users who can only use Suno for free...😐
To illustrate the issue with the credit display—here’s a screenshot. Why does it need to be shortened like this? If you replaced the “k” with two digits, the credits could be displayed precisely. There’s more than enough space for that.
Look! That's possible - This should be a simple 10-minute fix.
Yeah it takes about 10 seconds to realize this change is a bust.
I understand that desire, but it's a private for profit company...
They do post surverys from time to time, so filling those out in addition to feedback here does get processed and reviewed.
Anyhow, people can be as positive or as negative as they want to be here about the product so long as they don't attack the team behind the product for making the best decisions based on the best available data at the time, or the team trying to make the discord pleasant for everyone.
That’s understandable—it’s your product, and in the end you decide what gets implemented. But just because it’s a for-profit company doesn’t mean you shouldn’t engage with your users. This Discord gives you a very valuable opportunity to shape the product around real user needs. But for how long, if it increasingly feels like we’re talking to a wall?
We all love Suno, and I think that’s exactly why emotions sometimes run a bit high. Don’t see this as an attack—see it as people defending a tool they genuinely care about. For months now, I’ve noticed growing dissatisfaction among your users. And without us, there is no revenue.
You would really stand out in a positive way with better communication. For example, you could give feedback to users who make suggestions—whether you’re considering them or rejecting them. That would also prevent people from submitting the same suggestions over and over again.
I understand that desire, but that's also valuable business intelligence for competitors who no doubt also watch these channels as well. Probably the best way to get closer to decision making is simply by providing thoughtful feedback, and then end up being considered for the alpha or beta groups.
That’s a totally fair point. But the key here is finding the right balance between communication and secrecy. Not everything needs to be disclosed—but not everything has to be kept secret either. If you keep too much hidden and don’t bring users along, you risk losing the trust of your paying user base in the long run—and that trust is very hard to rebuild once it’s gone.
Even for-profit companies can communicate openly without exposing themselves to competitors—it just requires being deliberate about what you share. But sharing nothing at all isn’t a good approach either, as I mentioned before. You don’t need to go into detail. Even a simple message like: “Here’s our new UI update—it’s part of a bigger plan, stay tuned…” would already help a lot.
And not everyone has the time to meaningfully participate in beta tests. I personally wouldn’t sign up for that, because I know I wouldn’t be able to properly engage with the testing due to time constraints.
With instrumentals, Suno tends to do whatever it wants with the track length, even if sections are added in the lyrics. Is there a trick for this, or is there any way to have at least some control over it?
I'll use that line next time I leave some raw scrambled eggs out on the kitchen counter.
"Don't worry, it'll be a cake in a few months."
Feel free to use it.
PC browser version.
Please revert the display size of the cover art when playing playlists back to its original size.
Too much space is being taken up by less important elements such as the like button and caption.
Laggy playlists
There should be a read-only indexing library for Suno that uses a grid/list file-browser format. When a user clicks an MP3 or README file, it should expand to show more details in a dropdown-style panel. Users could browse and organize files in a structure similar to Linux or Windows folders, but designed specifically for Suno projects, songs, stems, metadata, and related assets. This would make navigating large music libraries faster, cleaner, and more intuitive.
Stop touching core visibility and calling it improvement, this is getting old fast, first you hide the credit counter and people lose track of what they’re spending, then you quietly walk it back after everyone calls it out, now the song count on mobile disappears from the library where the actual work lives, and the only number left is the public profile count which is not the same thing at all, I’m not asking for polish I’m asking for basic awareness, I shouldn’t have to dig, calculate, or publish everything just to know how many songs I’ve made, that’s not a feature that’s friction, if this is intentional it’s a bad call, if it’s not then fix it, bring back a clear total song counter in the library where it belongs and stop turning simple things into scavenger hunts
More than 5 "pinned" songs please; video longer than 10 seconds, please
It seems to not make sense, but it was a real decision. they went mobile first. You look at the native app layout, they emulated it on the web. it's a disservice to their users for the sake of what they think is "cohesive user experience. " when in reality it just ruins the web experience
It all depends on what experiment group you are in. there's about, maybe 10 or so different combinations of layouts that different accounts get served based on which experiment layer they are in (all of this is easily seen with your user data stuff that comes through the network requests in the browser)
I have two accounts with two different emails and they have two different layouts and those still change sometimes every hour sometimes every 2 days. it's ridiculous
as a veteran now retired UI engineer, I respect all of you. I can tell y'all are dealing with a massive massive amount of tech debt in terms of your experiment groups. I've had support ticket open for months about not being able to create hooks. about different feature flags turning on and off randomly. I pinpointed it down to the exact flag on my account. just looking at the json in the browser.
I pray for you and your colleagues. I can't imagine what the pull request reviews look like.
I will tell you one thing. 90% of the feedback that I'm reading in the last couple days in this chat isn't people complaining, it's people frustrated with the lack of consistency in the user experience, and the changes that have been made recently are taking away and minimizing and hiding things unnecessarily.
Crispy, you’re right on this. That actually explains why half the arguments around this keep turning into people talking past each other.
If different accounts are being served different layout experiments, then users are not even arguing from the same interface. One person still sees a counter, another person lost it, another has a toggle, another has a web layout that changes every other day, and then the room acts like everyone is describing the same product. They’re not.
That makes feedback messy as hell because people start blaming each other instead of the experiment layer underneath them. Someone says “this is missing,” another says “mine is fine,” and suddenly the issue gets dismissed when the real problem is inconsistent UI exposure across paying users.
And yeah, the mobile-first thing explains a lot too. A native app layout being forced onto web might look “cohesive” from a design document, but it can wreck the actual web workflow. Web users are usually doing heavier creation, more tabs, more comparison, more editing, more catalog management. Treating that like a stretched phone app is how basic visibility and navigation start feeling worse.
So the bigger issue is not just one counter or one layout. It is unstable visibility across experiments, paid users being split into different UI realities, and core workflow information getting moved around while people are actively spending credits and building catalogs. That is exactly why this keeps feeling like friction instead of improvement.
I feel heard. lmao. I've been barking this here and there for months now and thank you I feel like I've been heard. you summarized it perfectly.
PIN THAT please mods!
That means a lot, seriously. You explained the missing piece I couldn’t see from my side. Once you said different accounts are getting different layouts, the whole mess finally clicked.
weird that I'm crying right now? want to be best friends
Of course
There you go
🫂
☺️👍
I'm not even being sarcastic about pinning that message if any mods are reading this. if everyone read that or understood that before they came with their grievances. it would be a better experience for everybody.
have a good night y'all! nano you a Legend 🤘
We're like most consumer products in that we're constantly running experiments and no two users have the same experience. That will only increase over time. That's sort of the nature of modern development.
Certainty would make development easier if that weren't true, but it is what it is.
Alex, experiments are normal, but not all experiments hit the same.
Changing layout is one thing. Changing visibility around credits, counters, catalog totals, or core workflow info is different. That affects how paying users track what they’re spending and creating.
When every account sees a different product, feedback gets messy because people argue from different realities. So yeah, experiments happen, but core visibility should stay stable.
That's why we run experiments... you run the experiment and gauge the reaction. You can assume people will like or not like something, but you test to see if that's true.
I like some experiments. I dislike others. I'm just one guy though, and if Suno worked how I wanted it to work, everyone would be even more sad.
That's why everything is tested and analyzed.
Alex, I get the reason for experiments, and I’m not saying testing itself is bad. My point is more about what should be safe to experiment on.
Layout, button placement, visual flow, sure. But credits, counters, library totals, and core workflow visibility feel like baseline information. If those change between users, the feedback gets distorted because people are not reacting to the same product.
So maybe the issue is not “don’t experiment,” it is “keep critical creator awareness stable while experimenting around it.,.
People vocally complaining providing constructive feedback here is helpful though even if people don't feel heard. All this is analyzed as well
Alex, I get that complaints are analyzed, and I’m glad they are. But paying users should not feel like live data points first and customers second. When experiments affect credits, counters, library totals, or core visibility, that is not just preference testing anymore, that touches how people track what they are spending and building. Feedback is useful, sure, but the baseline should still be stable enough that creators do not feel like the product is shifting under their feet while they are paying for it.
I think part of the learning experience internally is "what are those core items." To some, credits isn't part of the core experience and so it's something to run an experiment on, and see what happens. To others, like many users here, touching credits is sort of a third rail. The experiment was successful in that the team certainly got a lot of feedback right away about the experiment.
I've never heard someone show up and say, "let's make this place even worse for users." Also some things are just bugs and not experiments.
Alex, that actually explains the disconnect. Internally it may have been a learning experiment, but from the user side credits are obviously core because they are tied directly to paid usage. So when credit visibility changes, users do not experience that as layout testing, they experience it as spending awareness being tested on them.
I get that the feedback taught the team something, but the reaction itself shows credits should be treated as baseline visibility going forward, not an experiment surface.
Alex, that’s fair from an internal learning perspective, but from the paying user side that lesson had a cost. The team learned “credits are core” because users had to lose visibility first and push back hard afterward.
That is the part I’m trying to underline. Some things should not need a live experiment to prove they matter. Anything tied to paid usage, spending awareness, or creator output should be treated as core until proven otherwise, not the other way around.
If we ran every single experiment successfully 100% of the time. We'd all be arriving to work in private jets, and the dollar would be Suno credits. Sadly this is not the case yet.
I get the frustration. I do. I can't convince you not to be frustrated.
I'd be frustrated too if something I valued changed in a way I didn't like, so don't think I'm saying, "be happy about something you don't like"
Alex, I get that no experiment succeeds 100 percent of the time. I’m not expecting perfect calls every time.
My point is that some things are hot-stove obvious from the user side. Credits are tied to paid usage, so touching credit visibility was always going to burn trust fast. The experiment proved it, sure, but users had to feel the burn first.
That is why I think anything tied to spending awareness, creator output, or core workflow visibility should be treated as protected ground before experiments happen around it.
Understood.
Alex, one practical suggestion, why not run a test-bench lane before pushing core UI experiments wider. Even a small opt-in beta group or separate test server would help. Let a few power users hammer the layout first, especially on things tied to credits, counters, library totals, and workflow visibility, then push outward after the obvious friction is caught.
That way the team still gets experiment data, but paying users do not feel like the live product is the first warning system. A hot stove still teaches, sure, but it is better to test the stove in the kitchen before serving it to the whole restaurant.
Appreciate you hearing me out. That was the main point I wanted to get across.
Not a problem. I appreciated the discussion. I use the product more than any other employee. I use it more than most of the users (I kinda want to look into this stat...). The changes to product impact me as well. I understand and empathize with user frustration.
My hope is the product keeps moving forward, and there are no bugs and everything feature is amazing because that keeps me happy as a user, and keeps my life easier as a member of the team.
Alex, I appreciate that, and I believe you when you say the changes affect you too. That matters, because it means this is not just staff talking down at users from a distance.
But I do want to push one wording point. A lot of us are not just “users” in the passive sense. We are creators and collaborators with the platform. We are stress-testing models, building catalogs, finding workflow cracks, surfacing UI friction, and creating the actual output that gives the product life.
So when core visibility changes, it does not just affect “usage.” It affects the creative process itself. That is why credits, counters, library totals, and workflow clarity hit differently. Those are not just product surfaces, they are part of how creators steer the work.
I appreciate the discussion too. I just think Suno gets better when creators are treated less like data points and more like active collaborators in how the platform evolves.
I believe hook issue is related to legal requirements. Depending on the state you live in or the state you appear to live in we can't allow you to use hooks.
I don't recall the specific law, but I believe that's the reason
Alex, if hooks are restricted for legal reasons, can you point to the specific law or policy driving that? Right now it sounds like a blanket explanation without clarity.
Also, if it’s location-based, what exactly is being detected, user state, billing region, IP? Because from the user side it just looks inconsistent without explanation.
If this is truly compliance, then clarity matters even more. Otherwise it feels like a feature limitation being explained after the fact instead of a defined requirement upfront.
I'm certainly not going to speak to legal issues. Best bet there would be reaching out to support@suno.com.
Alex, I get not wanting to speak beyond your scope, but that creates a gap. If “legal requirements” is the reason being given publicly, there should at least be a clear, user-facing policy or documentation that explains it.
Otherwise it comes across as a justification without a source, and redirecting to support just pushes the same question somewhere else instead of clarifying it.
If hooks are restricted based on region, there should be something concrete users can point to so they understand what’s actually governing that behavior.
Under follow or beside have a follows you symbol so it’s easy to see if someone follows you. Or put your name at the top of someone’s following list.
Less of a niche thing:
After clicking a song from a hook, the song that plays should not default to playing another artist after the song is done, it should showcase one of the pinned songs from the same artist plus it uses the first artists cover art and someone else’s song so it looks like the same artist but is not.
Just wondering if all the likes disappeared off of all the pages is normal… if not that would be cool to have them back.

Hello Alex,
It’s always great to see the platform evolving—when new features are added, user feedback is incorporated, and things noticeably improve. Unfortunately, experiments often carry the risk of frustrating your users.
So here’s my suggestion: if you want to find out whether a feature is perceived as a core function, consider using your other available channels. You have a great and fairly large Discord server with many active participants—how about running polls there? Or make use of your UI for surveys. Just like you often inform users about updates after login, you could also display a survey with a specific question.
Nice
Despite losing the Sounds-showcase section, I still like and use it as a feature. One thing that could really improve it would be to have a Sounds section in the Library, like there is for Personas Voices and Hooks.
I would like to have a way to organize published songs into albums, and then edit track order. My suno handle is travis_eaglebeard.
Give it a try to the Playlist option. You can treat them as albums and reorganize the songs. Go to Library / Playlist / Create Playlist / Add songs from your songs home using the + Add to Playlist option clicking on the ... of each song you want, drag the songs up/dpwn to change the order inside the playlist.
When clicking on "themes" you should be presented with a variety of colors to choose from--like a spectrum. You can choose up to 2 colors. Primary and Secondary.
Is it possible to restrict the ability to listen to published songs on this platform?
It is convenient for me to manage my songs by publishing them — much more convenient than using workspaces — but I absolutely do not need them to be listened to on this platform.
Instead of publishing, just move to a "published" workspace.
Ok. Tnx.
That's not exactly what I was asking. But the answer is clear: it's not possible.
Then another question: is it possible to remove songs from publication en masse? Or will I have to click on each one?
Because I don't want to get banned for autoscripting, or can I use it?
It's a one by one operation at the moment.
Thank you.
Yes. This may be useful.
On a 14-inch laptop (macOS, Chrome browser), when clicking to play a song, the default width of the right block is too wide, so only 3 song cards can be displayed in one horizontal row.
But! If the song title is longer than the card width, the layout breaks, and the version badge is no longer attached to the card properly and breaks the row.
If the dimensions are different, then on the 4th or 5th card, if the available size allows it, everything is displayed correctly and the badge stays attached.
Suggestion: Commonly used Advanced Slider setting presets. Right next to the refresh button we could add a button for reccommended, or common, settings for wanting High Audio coverage. Or just a custom slider setting button?
Revising my suggestion for a credit renewal date being visible: An option timer that counts down the hours and minutes until reset would be nice. I just lost 1,800 credits I could've used for animated covers because I misjudged what hour the credits reset.
I think creators should be able to toggle if the playlist a song is part of shows up on that song's page when you're just looking at the individual song. It'd help with soundtrack and album discovery, since I can't be alone in using playlists for that purpose. Besides, as listeners, it'd probably help when going through a creator's page, especially if a person does multiple genres.
Another thing - the lyrics helper/writer/whatever. I just realized it would be much nicer if we could have it as its own little popout panel where you could save segments of lyrics you like and regenerate the parts you don't like. If I could highlight the bridge and say "You know what, actually I want a Verse 3 here and I want a chorus and a post-chorus segment" and then that'd feel much more intuitive than the weird enhancer situation we already have.
I may simply not have noticed recently but is a blank playbar now a permanent feature to be at the bottom of every page? It used to not be there and would start showing only when we playing something. I guess then the suggestion is to go back the way it was?
Piggybacking on this, if the player could simply be able to be on the side or as a permanent popout window (clicking play in any tab "sends" playback to one window instead of me having to remember which tab is playing audio and stop it before going back to the tab I want to play), that'd be fantastic. I also wish on wide screens that the volume slider were always visible and could be raised/lowered by scrolling.
Suggestion: Hooks. Ability to select the preview thumbnail image. (I have a fade-in from black at the start of video and thumbnail is just black; from first frame)
I'd really appreciate a way to see at a glance which of my published songs are not in playlists on my page.
I’m sure it has been mentioned before, but having workspaces on the mobile app would be fantastic so I can clear up the clutter in my main library without having to delete songs
On mobile, have the text boxes open in full screen
the new feed page layout for your followers is the worst layout change I have ever seen yet. And some of the recent changes like our profile pages are really bad. I'm getting use to the profile page stuff, but I hate how my songs show up by publish date now. I use to withhold publishing songs so I could sort of control their ability to show up in my feed, now they always show up first even if i publish something from years ago. and why don't we have a random songs button next to the new and top button? I have asked for this several times. but users with thousands of songs, we need another button that says random, that just loads a random set of songs into the profile feed like the new and top button. and we need a search bar. so users can search our songs. But the new feed page is silly. you can't see like counts anymore etc. I know a lot of my frustration is that Im just use to the old layout, but I think it's a bit of both... bad new layout and being use to the old. like i said, getting use to the new layout, but I don't like it. You can't make up your mind on videos either. What size will they be next week. lol I uplaod a video for every song and I try to consider aspect ratio cuts and such but I see that's pointless to think about now, it might get shown full size in hook, it might be a square in profile it might be a portrait in the side bar when and if it shows up, which is another thing, that side bar has been soooooo buggy since the big update, sometimes shows sometimes doesn't. and the playlist pages???? wtf???? i saw it shows sometimes but usually doesn't very annoying... I know we roll out these layout updates in batches to groups of users, but I hate these changes, they feel very backwards to usability. but the site is faster now finally, it got really slow for a bit and crashed a lot, but its better now
we should have a random button, a new button, a top button, a search bar, and a show by publish date and show by creation date fyi 😛 these are simple user features we really should have
and search has been broken for months fyi, if you put a space in anything the search usually fails. so you can't look for your songs by title, you have to like look by a single keyword, very annoying,
same issue in the hooks creator, you literally have to scroll to a song, search almost always fails in weird ways. maybe i have to many songs and it's messing up the code or something, but its bad
I also have a bugged hook about 200 hooks back, that prevents my acct from seeing my own hooks. ie, i can't edit or delete or view any of my hoooks past a certain date from my acct, but other users can manually scroll back because it only shows the broken videos on my acct and one of the videos is apparently crashing the code.
v5.5 and custom models is so amazing tho, i can't say enough good things about it 😛
nah its in purpose. i have hooks every once in a while, i can see my past created hooks but cant do anything with them or create new ones. its a UI experimental feature that our account ids got put into the control group of. due to bugs their experiement groups are always messed up. my layouts change every other day.
Why was the Pinned songs reduced from 10 to 5 and without warning even deciding what tracks to take off without our concent!!! 😡 We want the Pinned tracks to be at least 10 as our top 10! Get it? Understood!? That shouldn't bother your web design layout especially after tou condensed the Pinned tracks to only open by clicking arrows left or right, Please give us our 10 tracks back ! What the heck is 5 songs going to do for anyone?... and who's bright idea was it to limit our pinned tracks!? Real smart aren't you!?...
Freaking genious I tell you. Set the Pinned tracks back to 10 songs please that's not too much to ask for! Thankx.... Suno Member !!!!!
To Suno Corporate: please review and follow up.
We are seeking immediate clarification regarding the recent change that reduced pinned tracks from 10 to 5 without prior notice or user consent.
This adjustment directly impacts how we present our work. The ability to showcase a top 10 is not arbitrary—it is a meaningful standard for many creators who rely on pinned tracks to highlight their best material. Reducing this to 5 limits visibility and undermines how we curate our profiles.
Additionally, this change appears unnecessary from a design standpoint. The current interface already uses horizontal navigation (arrow-based scrolling), which can easily accommodate more than five tracks without affecting layout or usability.
We respectfully but firmly request that the pinned track limit be restored to at least 10. This is a reasonable expectation and aligns with how creators actively use the platform.
Please treat this as a priority and provide both an explanation and a timeline for resolution.
Thank you,
A Concerned Suno Member
Probably meant to drop Here’s a more professional, firm version that still carries urgency and pressure:
Lol yeah bit i don't see that !
I got it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Pins are a pretty contentious topic internally, and everyone has an opinion on what the number should be, so it's not just users with opinions on this topic
Yeah I hear you, just think 5 is a bit too little , im thinking in terms of top ten lol 10 should be in my opinion the nuber respectfully to everyone elses opinions as well ❤️🩹
Pinned songs wouldn't be a problem if we could pin a playlist and call it "My Best" and add as many songs as we want.
I agree, but not just pinning, what there needs to be is a multiple rating set, + / - are good for I like this I don't like this. But, we need a second tag set, eg. prospectives get mixed in with things I liked for style, but if I gen 10 songs, I want to mark those to choose from, but if I change lyrics, I don't wanna remove the + rating when it is good and has elements I want to not get lost in the no votes and downvotes, also a version tag, since some songs have tons of revisions in the process. it just gets hectic. I think there needs a whole versioning, sort by same "song" and sort by revision and differences.
A cleaner way to unify UI/UX across platforms is to treat the interface as a shared component system, not as separate platform-specific designs.
The goal is not for web, mobile web, Android, iOS, and desktop to look identical. Each platform can keep its native feel. The important part is that the same product concepts should be represented by the same underlying UI/UX components everywhere.
For example, if a generation setting changes, the "Generation Settings" component should be updated once as a shared design concept, then adapted across each platform.
If library organization changes, the "Library View" or "Project View" component should be updated as a single product pattern, not redesigned separately for web, app, and desktop.
If a model tool changes, such as voice, cover, remix, extend, or add-instrument behavior, the related "Model Tools" component should be updated as one coherent UI/UX surface.
This approach keeps the interface consistent even when the underlying codebases are different. The backend can vary by platform, but the user-facing structure should remain predictable.
A component-based UI/UX system would make changes easier to scale:
.. one product concept
.. one shared component pattern
.. platform-specific implementations where needed
.. consistent user expectations everywhere
The result is a product that feels unified across platforms without forcing every platform to be identical.
That's even better, I was keeping it simple but this is legit 🤘🏻
Hello!
There's a problem: a user achieves a good-sounding track (not perfect, with stress errors or typos) and publishes it as is because they don't have the time to perfect it, or because it wasn't possible with previous versions of SUNO. Such tracks are quite common. However, authors can subsequently rework them. I suggest preserving the track ID, all its statistics, and reviews when perfecting the track (that is, making minor changes to the lyrics and stress). The link to the previous version of the track should be changed and indicated in the description of the modified (improved) track as the original source.
why not just make the pinned profile a playlist? Then you can put what you want in there and rearrange the order like any other playlist.
I wanted to share some feedback about the Pro Plan credit system. I’ve subscribed to Pro multiple times, and in my experience, 2,500 credits doesn’t last the full month—especially as an active creator.
Once credits run out, it feels limiting to have an active paid subscription but no ability to continue creating without purchasing more.
It might be worth considering adjustments to the model—such as higher monthly credits, rollover credits, or a fair-use unlimited option for paid tiers. I think that would improve the overall value and flexibility for dedicated users.
Appreciate all the work you’re doing and just wanted to offer constructive feedback 🙏
Is there a way that we can get a button on playlists that simply splits the number of songs into new playlists each of fifty or less songs?
I've got at least two or three that I kept adding to without thinking or realizing how hard it would be to get through that many songs in a playlist. I'll do better from now on. But I really wish there was an easy way to fix the mistake for legacy playlists that are too long to reliably browse through.
Or... playlist viewing could just be optimized to be less laggy. If they add a split feature it'd be nice to also have a merge feature.
Hi Suno team,
I really love the Workspaces feature, it’s super useful!
However, once you have quite a few (I’m already at 15+), it becomes hard to find the right one quickly.
Right now, workspaces are sorted by creation date (most recent on top). Could we please have the option to sort workspaces alphabetically (A → Z)?
Ideally, a small dropdown menu at the top of the workspace list with these options:
By creation date (current)
Alphabetical (A → Z)
Alphabetical (Z → A)
This would help a lot of users who use many workspaces to stay organized.
Thank you so much for all the great work you’re doing! Keep it up 🔥
I think the volume slider needs to be a little more obvious and a lot bigger. It's kinda twitchy at the moment, where I have to pixel hunt to get it at the volume I want.
"What the heck is 5 songs going to do for anyone?" I get that you're frustrated, but this made me lol. Bro, one song (albeit a pretty long song at 6:41 with a lot of lyrics) changed my entire worldview, Don't underestimate the power of music.
Hello Suno, Would LOVE the option to categorize songs by Genre/Sub-Genre.
Hi I am my name is @sgtbrecords on SUNO, The Interface NEEDS a better way for saving and organizing tracks. It seems ok for a couple songs, but I am almost at 4000 songs, I also understand how to use the workspace and playlist. So here is what happened. I am currently making playlist and workspaces, while DISLIKING the songs so they can move from the Songs category and I can i know which song is next to put in a playlist and or workspace, without doing this, all the songs are just there in Songs. Especially for NEW users (cause I believe i might be moderate or advanced), you can easily get lost if you are having too much fun creating and not organizing. So I am suggesting:
1.) A New Aesthetic Song Layout Display for Professionally Organizing and Tracking User Song Creation.
Extra Suggestions:
2.) Suno Goes Live! on a platform It's own platform (it has a live space specifically for Suno and not users) and assigns judges to watch the next Top Suno Star.
(Also)
Suno Goes Live! On its own platform to Officially Display Rising Suno Songs, Artist, Producers, and mainly the HUMANIZATION Process, to reduce the tension About a AI Takeover.
3.) Suno Motivational Tour, Suno contacts me to setup the SUNO
Empire for Major Music Events based on my Vision.

Put a goddamn length option on instrumental.
Having 10 rolls under 1min length is just ridiculous. Sometime it procs 6:45 long instrumental nobody asked for and most of the time it's not even 2:00.
A good instrumental sits between 2:30 and 3:30. So just train that goddamn model to stop being lazy or overdoing his job.
I mean....
Use "." to pad out song length on instrumentals.
Seriously. Just add 5,000 "." to your instrumental
Or however many you want, and it'll increase the length
Use advanced and hold "." until you see the 5,000 warning.
The music binds to your lyrics, but in an instrumentals there's no lyrics. This tricks the model to bind silence to the music increasing the length
You aren't wrong a slider would be better. I could probably just hack the "." workaround in at some point....
honestly... they could add a slider. It's not extremely hard to instruct, putting it in the prompt solves it partly. manage to get around 3:00 by prompting it in XML
so it can be added as a slider
oh, also, it doesn't work.
Former model were dumb enough to be fooled. Not anymore. To have an instrumental above 2:30 it takes dozens of generations
it is, obviously, unacceptable when competitors have easy to set sliders
Confused. Are you saying a purely instrumental song cannot be made longer than 2:30 or are you saying that having an instrumental solo is not possible after 2:30 of song time?
I'm saying that 90% of the gen range from 0:45 to 2:15
when you seek 3:00 to 3:30 average song
it is annoying
I literally made this instrumemntal song to demonstrate to someone else. It's longer than that...

When it is the playlist update in web, where it does not lag. It lags when you scroll. If you have lots of songs on the playlist. It is unusable in web.
Make it so you can customize your own theme colors instead of just dark mode and light mode. Like a spectrum of colors. Create a primary and secondary sections, and maybe you can even customise the color of the play buttons too.
