Can't delete Persona, so can't Delete Forever any tracks that use that Persona.
Both the track and the Persona are in the Trash, but there's seemingly no way to Delete Forever the Persona once it's in the Trash. Until I can delete the Persona, I can't delete a track that uses that Persona.
Neither the Track or the Persona were ever made Public.
Expected behaviour would be to be able to Delete Forever any Track that uses any Persona, whether that Persona is still active or Trashed, Public or Private.

I keep getting the "a clip got stuck" message. Four days and counting, every time I try to generate, every time I try to use the Editor... I have a Premier subscription, this is really frustrating and dissapointing.

Iv'e been trying to edit one of my playlists for a while now trying to add 4 new songs and trying to remove an old one, but I've only managed to get one song to be added and the song I've attempted to remove many times is staying in the playlist

Today if you open Song Editor - it will automatically play all the songs somewhere in the background and you can't turn it off !! so you can't really use the editor anymore.... 🙁
The mobile user interface on the website ...The new play bar at the bottom, the scrubber touch area is not large enough and it conflicts with Android's swipe back.

I’m honestly frustrated that the voice-switching feature inside a single song still doesn’t work in any reliable way. Voice changes remain completely unpredictable. When I first started using Suno back in version 3.5, I already tested two-voice and three-voice songs, and the results felt better than what I’m getting now. With version 5.0 it actually feels worse. For songs built as multi-voice pieces or dialogues this makes the whole idea pointless, because the model simply does not follow the instructions about where the voice must switch. The result is random every time.
I'm trying to build a band with 4 different personas. I have a song where I want all 4 of them to sing. I've taken to trying to cover the song with each seperate persona and then stitch the vocals together externally, but the covers don't stay close enough to the original, regardless of the audio influence, so it's so much hard work!
Hello, I noticed a bug with Suno regarding the lyrics. When the text exceeds 4000 characters, it starts to glitch and doesn’t make any sense anymore. I write my lyrics in French since I’m French, but I’m not sure if this happens in other languages too?
Does anyone here use public persona's from other users? I used to do that a lot but now days it just never loads in, is it just me?

When uploading a file, or using record, it doesn't automatically generate style based on the input as beforehand
I'm currently getting around 60% of my song generations with glitches in them. Like a record skipping. It's such a waste of time and credits. I used to get the occasional one but this is too much. I'm doing covers of my recordings. This has got to improve. Does anyone know any ways to save a 'glitched' track?
on mobile it's not letting me properly create or edit personas. I go through the setup but the save button is not visible on the screen at all. I can't scroll to it. the only way I can get this to show is to change the layout to desktop mode. the page needs to be able to scroll more on mobile so that I can actually use the button. changing to landscape doesn't help, it only works in desktop mode

I joined the discord just to see if anyone else was having this issue. I literally just signed up for Pro to fine tune some songs too.
Edit, FWIW, the legacy editor doesn't seem to have the same issue
For me - the music starts before choosing which editor - I only use legacy & am having the bug in legacy.

Same issue here, but it seems that for now it helps if you don't select Edit from Library page. Instead, open song page in new window end select Edit from there
Just pitching in. I'm also having issues upgrading from pro to premiere. Upgrade failed etc etc. sent an email to both billing and support

i've been having some really weird issues one after another this month.
first it's random cut-offs in songs, butchered garbled vocals, generally unusable editor, lyrics being ignored, now it's like it consistently cuts every song short no matter what I do... and now remastering a song makes it sound crisp at first, but introduces a bit of noise little by little, before it's just an utter mess. maybe I'm just now seeing all the flaws and the upgrade issue is just sending me over the edge a bit... but like... the original version of this song wasn't great, but this is significantly worse.
anyone having issues upgrading to pro plan...i have tried many times ...any solutions would help

Is there any update on when the downgraded audio quality issue will be resolved? For the past week, the music quality from all paid models has dropped drastically. The generated songs are currently not usable, and this is directly affecting the value of my paid subscription.
What’s even more confusing is that the free 4.5-all model on a free account produces noticeably better-quality audio. But when I generate the exact same cover song and same prompt using the same model on my Pro account, the quality is much worse.
This raises an important question:
Is the free tier currently getting better-quality output than the paid tier?
If so, it feels like we are being encouraged to use the free version instead of the paid one.
If the situation continues, can you please clarify:
Do free accounts also come with commercial usage rights?
If not, will you offer commercial rights to free accounts so paying users don’t have to waste credits on low-quality, unusable songs?

for a whole year now I'm constantly saying that you CAN'T TEACH HIM TO SPEAK IN DIFFERENT VOICES NORMALLY! I've already explained to him in Russian where the male and female vocals are, but he still messes it up! When are you going to fix this!? and also it hurts me that I can't bring to life one of my songs. because you still haven't taught AI to sing normally separately and I have to spend a lot of effort and time to try to get a reasonable result. but I can't bring some songs to life because of such restrictions. I'm really looking forward to when you finally cross this line and I can bring to life songs with multiple singers without having to choose 10 decent options out of 1000 tracks
When I open a song in editor, it will start playing another song in the tab where I opened the editor, and there is no way to turn it off without exiting the editor. So when I'm trying to edit something, I've got two songs playing over each other, the one I'm trying to edit, and some other random one
Additionally, why has Suno removed the ability to extend a song using a persona in v 3.5? This was the whole reason I just paid for my subscription, and just now do I learn they randomly remove this feature that's been a thing for the past year\

Guys, what is going on? Why has Suno 4.5 Pro suddenly stopped following my commands when I assign which verse should be sung by a female voice and which by a male voice? It keeps mixing them up, even though it never did that before. And why does Suno 5, out of the two generated songs, always make one shorter than 1 minute, even though I clearly specified that it should be the longest possible duration?? It is so annoying, please fix this as soon as possible.

“We were unable to process your recent subscription renewal. In order to keep creating, please update your billing information and retry payment.”
However, even after checking my billing details, the error persists.I would like to clarify that I purchase my subscription manually for one month only, without auto-renewal.
Please delete the current payment method from my account so I can re-enter my payment details and activate the one-month plan.
My current plan is Premier ($30/month).

I just tried to create covers for one of my demos and I put in the lyrics with prompts, along with a Style prompt and instead of singing the lyrics the singer sang the Style Prompt!!! WTH??? It's happened twice now.

That's what you claim. They could do that intentionally, to "hook" the new user, but it sounds unlikely. Could it be unintentional, sure, one thing you get with a subscription is "Priority queue, up to 10 songs at once" so it could mean that we're running on a separate server which happens to have a problem/overload. The other hint is "Early access to new features" which might mean "new bugs, only for you".

That's clear, in general "no". But do you mean "can I connect a free account to my subscription, to show that I'm a paying user that just wants to use the free version somtimes"? Sounds like it could be a possible feature, but I doubt they see the need.

I'm sure they do too, so you should report the complaint more precisely. They are aware that the output is not professional quality, but if you can point out that it's not a model problem, that might be news.
I had that once in Studio. I closed other tabs and reloaded, then it worked. In my case the song playing was not even mine, but somehow linked to what was showing in the other tab.
It's the everyday life of prompting, they are hints and usually misunderstood. You probably need to change the prompt and it will eventually snap out of it.
Did you mean that it ignores the lyrics box and sings the stuff from the Style box? Behind the scenes, all of the prompts are fed to the same model, so the border behind the boxes aren't fully fixed. But it might be a current bug, let's see what others say.
If you meant that the [instructions] mixed in with the lyrics is sometimes sung, that's not unusual. Do you have very little or very much prompts? Is the input audio very long?
In general, I'd say that you need to approach Suno as an unreliable band - don't expect them to do what you want, but pick the output you happen to like. If you're a professional expecting to get what you ask for from a tool, Suno is likely too free-spirited for you. As with any tool, you'll also learn how to use it with more practice.

Is it still the case, or was it just for that cover/prompt? Not sure it will help, but if it was me I'd try to pinpoint when it happens, try the same prompt/style without "cover", then "cover" with empty lyrics box.

I haven't seen any long term (nor short term) roadmap, but Studio, personas, cover, extend, etc. is how I think they approach the "continue work" scenario.
BTW, this may not be the place to discuss competitors, but I read on Tunee FAQ they "integrate Suno's service alongside our own model". I didn't know Suno had such an API. What is the problem with Tunee, if you like their flow, but still use Suno?
This will usually be caused by the way the style prompt is written. If your style prompt looks like lyrics Suno may try to sing it. Lyrics are usually separated across multiple lines whilst styles are better as a single paragraph of text. The use of ( and ) typically indicates something that should be sung as a backing vocal so avoid those in the style prompt as well.
What kind of quality issue is it?

Yes, i am expecting good quality songs, and use DAW to fix minor issues.
Can you share the examples?
Here are a few examples, but some songs were even worse than these. As soon as I listened to them, I reported them using the Report → Bug feature and deleted them. By the way these songs are in South Indian language so you may not understand them. You can clearly notice that the 4.5-all model on a free account is a lot better than the paid version models in terms of song quality.
Extending with persona was introduced in v4.5. The earlier models do not support this functionality.
If you haven't already, try with the sliders at their default positions and without any excluded styles.
When doing this, if v4.5-all sounds worse compared to your free account when using the same prompts, settings etc., please post an example of the v4.5-all output from your subscribed account and your free one for comparison.
Many if not most of the songs I create in Suno end up being useless because one or several of the following problems occurs: (1) they get cut short (usually under 50 seconds), and (2) they produce digital gibberish after a minute or so (or glitchily repeat the same 3-second audio phrase like an echo). Now I'm also experiencing problems typing text into Lyrics and Styles (I type but nothing appears). I've only had Suno about a week or so. Is this kind of unusability normal?
I’ve been using Suno AI for about 9 months, and issues like this are very common on the platform. No one knows when it will work, at what time it works for different regions, or when it suddenly won’t work at all. Whenever they announce a new feature or release, you can expect a lot of glitches across all features/models.
It often feels like Suno is trying to keep users hooked with the hype around "AI" but they don’t seem to care when we send emails or report problems. Unfortunately, there are no strong competitors to Suno AI at the moment, which is probably why this kind of behaviour continues.
I hope that if Suno keeps operating this way, another company will eventually come in and surpass them instead of milking users’ money under the hype of AI.

No worries — it has nothing to do with the user’s machine configuration or browser. It’s 100% an issue with the Suno AI platform and their models. They have poor infrastructure, poor feature-release management, poor prioritisation between bugs and new features, poor customer support, poor handling of high user load, poor front-end design and implementation, and poor testing. Even the payment system is unreliable.
The only advantage they currently have is the large amount of trained data in their models, which other AI companies don’t yet have. And I strongly believe this will change very soon, so music lovers and users won’t have to struggle like this.
I tried that combination as well, and it generated a song with vocal glitches and audio glitches. I can’t find that song now — I might have deleted it.

20 credits? Seriously? I'm getting 1,000 or even 1,500 credits for a single song, and I'm furious. They've intentionally reduced the quality. People are buying more. The best case scenario is when I do it quickly, and I get 400 or 500 credits.

Ah. Yeah that combination isn't supported (has to be one or the other.) How did you manage to add both? Usually if you try to choose one, it will get rid of the other.
I first add inspo, select from a personal PL, then i add a persona, because the option to use a persona is there after picking inspo
If i do it the other way around and pick persona, then inspo is not available, though.

I can try a different browser later to see if it's just chrome, but it shouldn't matter either way. I think this particular way of doing it just causes the website to get stuck or something.

That looks as I'd expect (pick either inspo or persona and it should swap out what's displayed underneath.) Could be something weird where it has actually selected both but is only showing one and then failing at generation time. 🤔 I'll try to reproduce this.
Seems a bug in being able to upgrade account from the pro to the premier account with stripe on both mobile and desktop. Trying to use the monthly subscription toggle it allows me to go through to upgrade while taking off remains credits and then when clicking the confirm button it says failed. I presume an issue with the stripe as have tried 2 different cards at different times on both mobile and desktop but getting same failed message. Maybe there is a stuck pending order in stripe or an issue between the site and stripe? Can you have a look so we can upgrade please. Multiple users having the same issue

I cannot buy extra credits as you can see I have tried over differing days, it is not my banks end. It appears to be abandoned by your site or whom / wherever accepts the transaction.
The issue with this is i would imagine that means i can no longer pay for my sub either.
I sent in tickets and while i did have some help regarding this issue it was a work around temp fix that didn't actually resolve the problem.
🫡 Hy SUNO Team, Having issues with my renewal of my subscribtion too! since two days it says it could not proccess the billing. as seen on screenshot. i checked my bank account, there is more than enough money, but everytime i try to renew the billing , It says, we where unable to autentificate your transfer! Not able to type text into the text fields in suno anymore. The problem exists for weeks, no matter what browser. Sometimes copy and paste works before dragging the field bigger. Can you please check and fix? Thanks.
i also can't upgrade but i have an open outstanding payment from a year ago that was confirmed "closed" by suno support a year ago. I was able to buy a pro sub just fine - but upgrading to premier is not working at all.

Several people reported this issue yesterday. Pretty sure they are aware. Mr Tree said he'd let them know. Apparently it's an old bug that's come back. I hope it gets resolved soon, I'd love to be able to use the editor again.
I can’t upgrade my plan to the upper plan, and I also can’t add credit to my current plan. I can’t continue my work. Even though I tried many different cards, it doesn’t accept the payment and gives an error.
so weird I've litterally never experienced any issues until today. trying to upgrade my plan. the platform has been relatively rock solid and I'm able to generate hundreds of songs a month as advertised. and am almost never disapointed with the results. save for the off time the song cuts off half way or just generally does some weird AI jankyness but thats just the Nature of the product.
So the bug from yesterday is still here. The AI is either getting stuck and won't generate even the simplest prompts in studio or else it cuts the clip way short and ruins any ability to use it...

Whenever I open a song in the Editor (Chrome), it opens but next song on the list start playing in the background without any control.
i am generating right now. Is working here in Chrome on PC. If you on PC try another browser or hard-refresh the one you use.
Yeah I heard a lot of people asking about that one last night too. Glad my problem is just an AI that won't listen, I can still do a little editing and record some stuff myself but the songs won't be complete till I can have Suno generate certain parts that I can't do myself, like bagpipes and percussion. 😭
oh, that...yeah...I think is related to the AI complexity, not meant like a tape recorder but a stubborn machine with its own mind and character. I wish I can punch it sometimes.
@humble rock Lol I wish it would tell me what it's issue is so I can adapt. It just either throws the "I got stuck" error or else it does whatever it wants including generating a whole new song even though I'm in the drums category and only asked it for undertones.. it's way over my head though so I can't complain too much. Really am grateful to have this tech to bring my music to life.

I don't think they can tell you what you do wrong since it may be the machine not you. This happens to me so many time that I just gave up on trying it anymore. BTW, were you successfull in getting a whole new track in Studio?
@humble rock Yeah, that one should get fixed pretty quick I'd think, it's pretty debilitating if you're trying to compose and another song won't quit playing.

I know my brother has the same issue from time to time but he said it usually fixes itself. Idk, I'll figure it out or else I'll find a work around.

@wary flare Should be, I'd listen for changes in audio and cadence from what you first heard. You can also use the song to make a persona and use that as a template to regenerate till you find a version you can work with.
Well, today's bug is that I cannot upload any of my audio tracks, either to create covers, or to work in Studio. None of the Upload buttons work.
One more thing, just to reiterate and emphasize the point. If I'm working in Studio and I add a track with one instrument defined, eg: drums or bass or sax or whatever - Suno should just create a track with that one specified instrument and nothing else - no other instruments. How hard is that? What is the logic to adding instruments not asked for? It is absurd and time wasting. Just give us the one instrument specified. Can Suno do that please?
Also, I specifiy an area to fill and it doesn't do that either - it fills less. Come on guys. Get it together. This is not ready for pro musicians. But you should be able to do it. Do you have pro musicians working with you to deal with these issues?

You are not dealing with a loop machine (as you may be used to) but with an alien intelligence...😂 Who knows, maybe it does think purposely to screw us up, to make fun of us. The main problem of this intelligence is, that it does not understand what we want, so working with the prompt is the best you can do.
"Professionals" I don't think too many as the sounds are not professional level. I think the machine is being trained on youtube (compressed audio, mp3) and that is what you get. Listen to the tracks on high midds and you'll see what's happening there. I am inclined to believe that although V5 is better trained, but sound worse than the previous V4.5. BTW, is Saturday, so the support team may be off.
Try another card. Also be aware that support may be off on weekends.
Are you satisfied with the sounds of V5? Did you try listening the midds? To me they are distorted and scratchy, and I worked my whole life as engineer in manufacturing studio products, and sound engineering.

When you go to buy more credits the purchasing button just keeps circling (loading) and the process never goes through. The purchase is not completed. Looks like a bug with the system.

Hello, I'm reporting a new bug. When I open any song in the editor, as soon as the waveform is loaded, another of my tracks starts playing somewhere in the background. Playing and stopping the track I loaded in the editor has no effect on that invisible background audio player.
EDIT: I was able to get the background player to stop playing, using the play/stop keyboard on one of my old keyboards. At least I can edit now without having to listen to a nenver-ending stream of my other tracks in the background 🙂

New problem here, i had a problem with the auto sub, saying card could not be autentificated, now those are gone, and my sub has been canceled, but now, new problem, i can't even do a new subscribtion, cause the SUNO site doesn't load the pay site anymore. allways stuck in a loading loop (a soon as i wanna pay), and then crashing the intenet browser down. ( Tried it with Firefox, Chrom, and Opera GX, on all webs, same issue.) allways the same saying, Card can't be autentificated! and by retrying to redo it, then the browser shuts down, cause it can't load the page anymore!
So Dammn! Can you at least look, what is wrong with your STRiPE SYSTEM! Nothing works with this paysite anymore!

There used to be a button you could hit to play the same song on repeat but it's not there anymore... it just goes on to the next song and unless it's been moved I don't see any option to play a song on repeat.

It's a bug. I reported it 2 days ago, but it was Friday mid-day in the USA. They'll get to it, but wait 1-2 weeks. Same thing on desktop, if you make the window narrow enough.

This isn't true. I make songs in v. 3.5 with personas, and I used to be able to extend those songs with the persona still activated. This was when v. 3.5 was the free model, although the UI would bug and say I was in a newer model. Regardless of what the UI said, my extension would still be in v. 3.5 with the persona activated. Now, when I try to activate the persona on my v. 3.5 extension, it doesn't let me, and it says:
"Model changed
Model was automatically changed to support your selected conditions."
There is an audible difference in my v. 3.5 songs extended with the persona activated versus a vanilla v. 3.5 extension.

Suno is seriously broken 🙁 one thing is it failing to upgrade from Pro to Premier for at least a few weeks. Another thing is no replies from both billing@ and support@ for well over two weeks now (sending from gmail = not delivery issues, and no, nothing in junk/spam 🙂 ) - and now, trying to report the bug using the feedback function, telling me i need to log in before i can send it. Hi, I was reporting this few days ago and still - payments are not working. No matter how many times I try, how many browsers I use... It is just not working.
Yes I reported this here yesterday, this is so frustrating and I wish someone from Suno would respond and at least let us know that they are looking into the issue.
From what I have learned so far, there are messages that appear during payments, but Suno does not support them, so they are not displayed to users.

New question... Is has a cap been put on how long the AI will make a song? This song shouldn't be as long as the AI keeps pacing it at but it just cuts the song short at 5min 6 sec. Every time exactly that amount like it's not allowed to generate more or something...

Yeah I figured out a work around by taking my template and re recording it with a faster bpm and then making a persona out of that, song now is about as long as I expected but I did check and it wont do anything beyond like 5 min 10 sec or so before it will completely give up even if the rest of the song still flows. Guess the days of 8 min Woodstock music is over lol

Guys, SUNO just lost a cse in EU with GEMA. I hope it will not be forced to damage the voices it generates to sound like nobody else before.
IMO it was meant for general population that has no knowledge of creating music, more like a toy machine. It evolved, but still has a long way until you'll get professional results. With all the law suits at the door(they just lost one in EU), I'm afraid it will become illegal soon, something like Napster.
...and btw, if you check SUNO engineers demos on youtube, they have the same problems with the AI being stubborn and doing whatever it wants. It's like humans being stubborn after God created them.😂

Is anyone else having this problem with Suno? When I click on the edit button to enter the legacy editor, Suno starts playing the song under the song I selected with no way to stop it. The editor shows the song I clicked and the play button is off (triangle) but there is no way to turn off the song under my selected song from playing. If I press the play button, both songs start playing at once. I've tried it with multiple songs and it still does it. I also tried restarting Suno, closing and reopening my Chrome browser, and rebooting my computer and nothing fixes it.

Yes. Sometimes what I do is click into legacy editor and (thumb click mouse button back) return to the beta editor. a pain for now but is workarounds.

I'm jumping in without context, sorry if it doesn't help you... but avoid having negative prompts, they might be misunderstood and worsen the problem. If there is a box for "exclude" you might use that, but better make it very clear what the positive example is.
The other reason to ignore instructions is when memory is full, or it just gets inspired if you leave too little instructions. It's a delicate balance, so the other option is to allow the output to inspire you. 🙂 I tend to edit the output (cutnpaste) to get rid of the parts I didn't want, and perhaps take other bits to use for the intro. Also consider extracting stems to get rid of problems.
Not a huge deal, but on desktop the bar to expand the parts of create will get in the way of the scrolling bar. Image is from phone screen shot so not exactly the same

I just wanted to buy 500 credits more as my auto renewal doesn't cycle for a while and I am working on a couple of things.
Others reported not being able to upgrade. So the payment for credits in any capacity is not functioning.

Helpful: close all browsers but the one. Use space bar to turn the underneath song off. Some combination of those two often help.
Anyone figured out how to find a song's workspace? In "Create" you can only search for workspace. And in "Library" which should logically be with Workspaces, there's no workspaces, but you can search for songs. Once you found the song there's no workspace indicated anythere.

I notice when i want to use Advanced features and also version 5-1 method, my account keep asking me to subscribe to Pro version and it's confusing because when i checked my account in Suno's Apps i'm Pro version subscriber and my suno creadit still available but in Suno's web I'm in Free Version but still I can generate 150 songs left but without andvanced features. Why this thing sudenly happen?
The latest i found out i only can generate v4.5 free all prompt, if i choose v5 beta it ask me to register to pro.
Are there technical glitch on the back-ends?

I actually have a full list of different UI/UX bugs and nuisances, but so far I haven't really bothered reporting most of them, as I can live with those, but this particular ratio was kind of annoying at first 🫣
They are aware of the Workspace being an after-though so I think they will eventually clear the UI up. For now, I came up with two ideas for you:
In Create, first go into one workspace, the search bar will now search for songs in that workspace. You can then click back to "Workspaces" (top of screen) and go into the next workspace. The search bar will stay filled in, so you should eventually find the song in one of the workspaces. Note: The default workspace is "My workspace", but perhaps a song may be in NO workspace, then it will only show up in Library.
If you don't need to know the current workspace, find the song in Library, then click the menu dots (to the right) and select "move to workspace". When done, you'll know which workspace its in. 🙂
Suggestions (borderline bugs IMHO):
- Search in Create (top level) should show both Workspaces and songs (and styles and Studio Projects?).
- Indicate on Song page what Workspace the song is in.
- Perhaps: Indicate in Library what Workspace the song is in.
- Perhaps: Allow nested workspaces.
- Library should be the same as (the improved) Workspace search! No need for a different concept. Perhaps it could have the same UI as within Studio, and default to "all songs" but you can go back to see the Projects/Workspaces.
- Studio projects should also fit in the Workspaces. Why is a "Project" yet another thing (keeping track of stems) than Workspace is?
- Export full song in Studio should put the song in current workspace, not only in Library (default workspace).
V5 is consistently chopping off the end of generated songs as of today, at least for me. @magic kernel please look into this. It sucks dumping credits in the hope of getting one track which does NOT actually get chopped off at the end. Thanks.

The fact that people have not been able to buy anything via the browser is ridiculous. No communication whatsoever.
Anyhow, to people struggling, you can still buy credits (and I'm guessing also change your subscription), via the phone app. I at least have the iPhone app. Not sure if it works via android.
entire weekend no payments okay cool no emergency dev ops it happens. entire monday nothing. 5pm just said suckers will just have to deal with it and went home np. meanwhile it's something incredible small and silly that's wrong with the stripe integration which can likely easily be reverted to working backup. now if you tell me whoever shipped this to prod like a king on friday did not back things up before they did well congratulations!

This opens STRIPE
there will be a listing of transactions
Select the open button and complete your payment.

Yes that happens to me a lot. Usually just going back, refreshing the page then entering the editor again fixes it. Sometimes you have to do it twice.
I've also noticed that in the iOS app. There's no way to stop songs playing - the entire action bar with the play button is gone. (slightly different bug than you're describing I just realized)
haven't seen that bug, but as a workaround you could disable auto play

We’re aware that some of you are seeing an “Upgrade failed. Your saved payment method was not charged.” message. We’re working on a simpler fix to streamline this, but in the meantime, here’s a workaround that has helped some members complete their payment:
If your payment/upgrade fails, try this:
Start the purchase as usual
- Go to the suno.com/account page.
- Choose how many plan you'd like to purchase/credits you want and click Continue.
Close the stuck payment screen
- If you reach the payment screen and it fails or seems stuck, simply close that window/tab.
Click “Update payment” on Suno
- Back in Suno, click Update payment.
- This will open a Stripe window.
Open the pending transaction in Stripe
- In Stripe, you’ll see a list of your recent transactions.
- Find the one that matches your credit purchase and click Open.
Finish the payment in Stripe
- Complete the payment steps there.
- After that, your credits should appear in your Suno account shortly.
If this still doesn’t work for you, please grab a screenshot of what you’re seeing and contact** billing@suno.com** so we can take a closer look!

I've been having issues generating songs in the mobile web app for a few days, and today in the desktop web app I got a popup asking me to solve a CAPTCHA after logging in. I'm wondering now if this is what was denying my service previously. If I can't use the app the way I normally use it I'm not going to keep paying for it.
I'm not getting a pending transactions when upgrading so is this just for credits?

If there are any devs around that work on the code that actually creates the music we generate, can you please fix the inability for v5 to follow similar structure throughout a single song. It seems, at least to me, that the majority of you developers either really love mumble-rap or that you don't quite know how to make one verse follow the same cadence of another. Each generation attempt over the last week and a day or two is continuously speeding up more and more and more as the song goes, creating something akin to growling mumble rap. I have reported and flagged these generations as POOR STRUCTURE, because the beat, tempo, and cadence of them does not remain concise. Please, look into this. I like the sound quality of v5, but hate that most generations now turn into garbled messes of jamming words together or skipping some entirely in favor of rushing through when the song speeds up.
This method does not work for upgrading my monthly Pro to Premier and fails with the same error message. In no time can i see any history of a pending payment i could finish in Stripe either - just FYI.
And yes - i have send an email to billing@suno.com last week. :/

Yes this worked, thank god. I was able to top up.
I went straight to the update payment tab because I had three "Open" requests for credits on the same day as I had tried to top up and failed on that day so I picked one and went from there.
But we shouldn't have to do a workaround so hopefully this bug gets fixed real soon

This is literally a joke, people here 2 weeks are writing they can't give them money, and they say send us email to billing, where no one responds. I never say a company that does not care to get more money...
I solved my upgrade problem from PRO to PREMIER:
- Deleted all my old saved credit card entries on STRIPE
- Input my old credit data again as a new payment method
- Defined the entry as standard (i deleted the old one - no idea if that is necessary)
- Went to Suno and did a successful upgrade
I can also confirm that i succesfully upgraded to Premier. Also did all this mentioned above.
But, they clearly fixed something, an 2FA/3D secure window appeared, i confirmed code and succesfull.

well whatever the reason for it - i couldn't do it with my old data - i tried a second before literally.

update : regenerating the STEMS seemed to have fixed it
update : dowloaded mp3 stems still have the corrupt "song Length" metadata issue : each instrument has a different song length & none of them have the actual correct song length

Same thing happens with me for certain Workspaces, even though they clearly exist.
Having an issue replacing a small section of lyric (less than 1 second). Editor will let me replace the entire section using whatever lyrics including the original lyrics. However, it wont accept any input into the replace lyrics section for the short clip. "Lyrics contain copyrighted material". I even tried putting gibberish in there, but no luck getting a replacement.
Not sure if it’s a bug but it’s a billing issue , where I wanted to upgrade then for some reason my bank declined the transaction and suno took it as if I was already upgraded and my services got shut down for lack of payment when on the same day I purchased the basic plan now I cannot use both.

I have the current issue: I had PRO active, 3 days left, I renewed the account using google store, received credits, and then, out of a blue, my account is, yes PRO, but the features are stuck at FREE, even the 3 PRO days left before the expiring time switched to free (no 50 daily credits). Mailed to support, waiting an answer. The account is on hold, cause I cannot use V5.

From your browser's developer tools "Network" tab, look for "v3" in the list of requests. There should be one there which has a response of {"detail":"Not found."} as shown in your screenshot. Can you DM me the request payload (preferably as text, if not a screenshot should be fine) please?
Also does this happen in another browser or in incognito/private mode? (Just in case this relates to something that is cached.)

if you need only male, I wouldn't put tags related to it in the lyrics. Did you try selecting male here:

I'm hesitant to call this a bug as I've rarely seen it happen. I'm more inclined to believe it's related to a conflict in the lyric tags and style prompt you've got going on. like perhaps it cached the 404 version of the v3 feed endpoint and that's what we're receiving
Not sure.. All I know is I, and I'm sure many others, had thousands of generations going way back before workspaces were a thing so they were all in the default/original "My Workspace"... and I can't access any of them now. 🙁
though if you go to a playlist.. you can seemingly see those songs.
then if you go back to "create" you'll see just those songs as if they are the only songs that exist at all.
yeah playlist should work, and in your library if you click filter -> public you should see published songs too

It refunds if both fail (At least for me). But if only one of them fails, it took all 100 credits. A bit bogus.
anytime I try to bring up a menu or do any kind of right-click actions in the editor, I get this. No matter the song. Using MacOS and happens on Brave and Firefox. Seems to have started sometime around the video generation feature addition.

It’s now been about two weeks that a large number of users are reporting severely degraded audio quality across all models (4.5, 4.5-all, V5):
distortion, harsh highs, robotic vocals, muddy bass, artefacts, flat mixes… even with prompts that used to work perfectly.
Many of us have opened tickets, sent emails, and reported through the app, but no one is getting any reply.
Not even a simple acknowledgement.
I’m not asking for refunds — I’m only asking for clarity.
If there is a known issue, a technical limitation, a temporary overload, or even an internal update going wrong, just tell us.
It’s much easier for users to be patient when the team communicates openly.
Right now, people are burning credits on unusable results, and the silence from support is honestly the most worrying part.
Please, Suno team — we all love the platform.
Just give us a clear message about what’s happening and what we should expect.
Communication would solve half the frustration here.

hi. also having that error fetch v3 clips error over a day at least. randomly if I mash into it on web, I can temporarily get back into it, but it will kick me out eventually again.
would just use the app, but for some reason it never has the same or the entire list of tracks that shows on the web client
I've been trying to get suno studio to recreate a drum track, but:
1: It's ABSOLUTELY obsessed with including acoustic guitar, and no manner of negative prompting in any form or fashion seems to fix it
2: Cuts ALL recreated audio at exactly 4 minutes
3: Replacing audio just crashes and doesn't do anything
4: all created stems are completely unusable
I purchased the premiere plan to use the Studio and manually remaster a song, because the normal ""Remaster"" version degrades audio significantly.
like... I know this is a pretty cutting edge product, and I know there's bound to be bugs... but then don't charge like it's a premium product?
At least i got 9.6k credit to throw at the wall... cuz apparently that's the only way to get something decent

STEMS BUG: Despite selecting "Tempo Locked WAV", individualy downloaded stems are not tempo locked. The only way to get an individual tempo-locked stem is by downloading them all, unzipping and deleting the ones you don't want. Kinda PITA workflow-wise 😅 . @small shell @sand depot can you please look into this? I can confirm this is replicable, I have tested it many times. Thanks!
ALSO: The "disappearing" Extracted Stems bug keeps happening.

I paid through the Suno App and I came to play on the web. I didn't pay through the web.
I’m having an issue with SUNO when trying to create a cover from my own recorded song. The model perfectly follows the melody of the verses, choruses and instrumental parts, but it consistently refuses to follow the bridge. Instead of using the original bridge melody, SUNO ignores it and generates a completely different section every time.
The input audio is clear enough, properly recorded and mixed, and the bridge has a distinct melody line, but the model still does not pick it up. Is this a known limitation? And is there any way to force SUNO to follow the bridge of the original song exactly?
Had this issue for 2 days on PC chrome and android. Can't access my songs.

Re: feed_v3 bug. If I go to Create, enter my default workspace and sort by oldest while the page is loading, I can scroll through my entire library until it gets back near the top (took me a while) and then it throws out the error again. Makes me think it's a corrupted track or something, one that I haven't "liked", because page 1 with the like filter on loads fine. As soon as I disable it, boom, crash
Came here to post about this too. Been a day for me, I made a cover of one of my songs, then boom. Can't access my main library unless I tick off liked filter and tick it back on, then it's only liked songs on page 1. Page 2 won't work and I have to go back to page 1 and tick off/on liked songs again.

runs in curl fine if I skip over the first page by changing the cursor from null to a valid page string, but as soon as the cursor is null I get {"detail": "Not found."}. It also works fine if disliked:True even if cursor = null

yeah I noticed some people have trouble loading page 2, where it's just page 1 for me. so could be a malformed track - maybe created while Cloudflare was between life and death yesterday
Yeah page one for me won't work. Issue started 2 days ago, acted like it was going to work then when I made another song page 1 died again
having said that, I did try and move like 30 tracks from one workspace into my default in an attempt to push them all back to page 2, but that didn't help

Max Mode was in early access for a bit (or still is idk), could be related to that rolling out in the near future.

Right now is impossible to cover some songs with 4.5 pro. After 1:30 audio starts to get chopped or makes jumps, or if the song last 5 minutes it ended at 58 seconds. A lot of credits wasted because of this. And yes I report every song as a bug

I completed 71 tasks and have 360 pending credits, but 0 processed credits even after 24 hours.

Did you want it here or DM? I suppose the non-descript error messages are mostly because the front-end don't have access to detailed error information or didn't want to bog down the code with details. I like the effort to probe the community, but with fast development there's a risk that a more detailed error message in a later version will change meaning anyway. I think developers should track the messages shown most often and review them regularly.
From reading the forums, the payment errors should be more explanatory, providing a clear step by step what to do next - unfortunately I think that would be hard.
I was frustrated by the attached message. I suppose the message in itself isn't that bad, but I'd love an (i) icon with mouse-over text saying some basic requirements that could help me solve the problem. In this case I tried a 1 second voice only clip, then a slightly longer one with the same result. So I guess I need something longer, but I haven't seen any rules around it. The info-icons I've seen have been very useful, so a good way to teach the user.
EDIT: The reason I was trying this clip was because I tried to replace it in Studio, and the output was mostly empty or nonsense. So the error message is much better than that, you should have a warning when the clip is too short to work.
It's not an error message, but the Library view has a trash can icon in the upper right corner. This always scares me, I think it's a quick delete, but it's just a link (but not in the list of other links on top of page) to Trash. Drag-n-drop to the icon doesn't work. It's not as dangerous as I thought, but unintuitive IMHO. I see that in Create (Workspaces) there is a little lable saying "archive", saying "View Trashcan" hear could be a quick fix.
I hope the editor error is cleared up soon so it is useable again. Without the editor working I find it hard to get motivated to make anything since almost all of my gens for metal require some kind of touch up.

Yes, but it is not active, it's like this small part of the song is cropped out of the rest
reset all might be the only way, but I'm not sure. That's what I have always done. its a bit of a pain to go back through the edits and figure out which ones you used where, especially when it seems like the UI doesn't seem to respect your likes while previewing edits. so whenever I go back to look, everything is unliked.
I lost credits and had to make new edits... Combined with right-click error this is just a nightmare
Edits are there, but the app should work for me, not the other way around. It was easier to make new edits
I'm just going to put it out there: I would gladly give up the video generation updates if it were to make the editor work again. it is far more important to me than the video generation. I would say the video generation is like a nice paint job, but the editor would be the tires. Without the tires the paint job doesn't mean as much.

We are trying to discuss bug so they can be address, not clutter things up with spam about your opinion on how things sound to you. Besides, it seems like the list of instruments you provided includes so much that it would likely be a shorter list to simply name the ones you feel are working well. Not sure what you think the people reading this channel are going to do with this information, and it just makes it harder for the folks discussing ACTUAL problems from getting anything actionable done. In-fact, fixing the bug discussed here probably stands a better chance as improving your perceived experience than spamming your list of complains into a bug chat over and over.
It looks like other people have said this too but I lost A LOT of credits trying to make a song on the busted editor. For me it wasn’t even recognizing the lyrics properly and any edits turned into non coherent gibberish even with trying to realign everything. Then of course if I try to right click or open the menu I get this screen.
Sorry if my message is beating a dead horse as it looks like you are already aware.
Just imagine how many folks are out there that don't have discord and have absolutely no idea what the heck is happening. It seems like there isn't any announcement when site-breaking changed are rolled out, because according to the site there hasn't been any changes since a month ago.
If that's not a bug, then it is a systemic problem with letting users know what is happening to the site they pay to use, likely on a daily basis.
Does anyone else get a bug opening a song in the Editor and it starts playing music in the background that can't be stopped?
Makes it impossible to edit a song because there's just other music playing that you can't stop.

[BUG] Not able to edit songs in Suno editor
Platform/Browser: Web (Chrome/Edge on Windows)
Description: when I am trying to edit songs in Suno Editor i am getting an error as Message: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'showNav')
Steps to Reproduce:
Go to Suno
Select any song which was created using Create
Go to Remix/Edit-> open in editor
Select any section of the song from the editor and click on more options
It gives an error Message: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'showNav'). PLease advise what can be done to resolve this issue as i am completely blocked.

I want to use the android app. My log in requires discord because that's how I made my first account which I still use.
It opens operaGX for me to log in and verify. I log in and it opens the suno website. It doesn't redirect to the app, the app still asks me to log in. I cannot Use The App.
I've been trying for months now and it still doesn't work!
Can you just give me the option to log in using my suno username and a password I create PLEASE?!
This was driving me crazy for a couple of weeks now, but just today I figured out I could shut off the extra background song by hitting a pause media keyboard shorcut! I hope this works as a work-around for anyone else dealing with the player firing up when you go into edit mode. 
#🪲┃bugs-web Just a follow-up on a previous issue reported where songs would be generated, but the endings would be chopped off.
I've run through multiple scenarios now in an attempt to figure out what the issue is, and all my tests have pinpointed it to the lyrics used for the song.
The songs which exhibit this "chopped" issue have particularly long and detailed lyrics. The chopping off of the end of the song issue occurs in about 85 - 90% of generated songs, using the same lyrics.
I have confirmed this bug by asking Suno to "make the lyrics shorter", the result being that the end chop does not occur on songs generated with the shorter lyrics.
So just FYI for anyone who likes expansive lyrics in their songs: Suno can't handle it and falls flat on its face.
Hopefully this gets addressed sooner rather than later - pretty pointless having such a large character limit for the lyrics input while not being unable to utilize it properly.

I haven't used any app, so no real answers, but an idea: Did you try installing another browser, to see if they catch the request and redirect? Otherwise, I have used the web on my phone sometimes, would that work for now, I don't think the app has any added features.
I'm just a user, so don't have the details, but I think the 8 min max is a bit of marketing. Things are random. The large text box is also not a measure of the output itself, Chinese characters could be a lot of words, maybe French lyrics need a lot of characters for a few words. 😉
I've heard that the model "attention memory" is an important limitation. If you fill it with prompts/input, there is less room for the output. In particular, if you upload both audio or use persona, your output is more likely to end abruptly. Perhaps there are also different "complexity" in the lyrics. I kind of like that they give us more room to experiment in, rather than set a tight limit and no freedom.
I agree that the music should not cut off in the best of worlds, but I think you should try workaround, the "extend feature" was made to allow songs longer than the memory limit. It would be nice if there was a way to see what parts of the prompt that were used or ignored, though.

I upraded to studio last week. I was going to report an issue but I see it's quite widespread, and probably the team is already looking into it.

As a software developer myself, if I did this I'd be out of work in no time flat.
BP is to design your interface and related functionality (backend or frontend) around the limitations of your software, not the other way around. If they really want to test the limits of their AI then there should be a beta program for that - it shouldn't form part of what is presented to paying clients, resulting in wasted credits. That's just bad form.
It also begs a lot of questions about how AC is done on the QA and dev side of things, but I'm willing to bet that they're way short staffed compared to what they're trying to deliver.
Anyway... I'm sure it will be addressed at some point. Until then I suppose I'll just have to curb my enthusiasm a bit. 🤣
Agreed. I am also a developer. And I upgraded my subscription based on the promise of Studio. Also, the MIDI files, but those aren't really usable most of the times. They are based on extracted stems and have the same issues stem have (not clear separation, artifacts, incomplete, etc). So I feel like I paid for something that is a bit half cooked. All due respect, it's awesome and promising, but it isn't ready for production yet.
Agree 100% - there is really nothing that comes close to Suno at this stage of the game. That doesn't mean, however, that they should rest on their laurels. I'd bet the support nightmare they probably currently have would be a lot more bearable if they did a Prod/Beta split - I've yet to meet a person who appreciates being oversold something. At the very least, if they insist on releasing Beta features as "production ready" then they should consider implementing some sort of credit refund system for legitimate failures in generation/features. Probably a tall ask, I know, but one can dream!

When I try to edit songs in the PRO editor it loads the song I've chosen, but in the background it will play the next song in the library and will not let me edit the song I loaded into the editor.

I just saw a post about hitting the pause or stop button if you have audio controls on your keyboard. That was weird but it worked. I guess there is a bug with keyboards that have audio controls. (Web Version BTW)
No matter what I do, Suno keeps generating the same genre and structure.
I tested:
– multiple accounts
– different browsers
– incognito mode
– VPN (different countries)
– different devices
All prompt controls such as:
- tempo/BPM
- pacing/delivery
- no-intro / staccato / continuous motion
- orchestral-only / no electronic sounds
are ignored completely.
The model seems stuck in a single genre mode and refuses to reset.
This matches the known “Genre Hard-Lock Bug” reported by other users.
Please reset my server-side session profile and remove the genre lock.
I had someone like one of my Playlist, though it has never been public. Nor have I ever posted it online. Ive posted one if its songs last year, still not published/public.
The artwork is not the same as mine as well. Just seems a glitchy thing that a user views an unpublished Playlist.
OK... so for me this is a bug. Why all notifications are popping out right in a middle of the player - the most often used tool in Suno? Notifications about adding to playlist, moving to trash, etc.... cover the player and are staying there for way too long, especially if you are searching for that perfect version after generating multiple songs.
Also... having an audio waveform (half of it to keep it small) instead of a simple progress bar would help a lot.
Is there any resolution to this issue with Suno Editor ?

been getting this too. Also every time I open editor for a song a song starts playing in the background and it's not the song or version of the song I am editing. There are no other screens to go to or tabs to click on to pause the song playing and when editor does open up or legacy editor the song I am editing playing at the same time as the song that's playing in the background. Can't edit, can't do anything and can't cut song off but once I leave the editor interface the song stops playing automatically.

They are more than aware of the showNav issue.... Just not sure they are aware how to fix it at this point.
If it were me I would have simply rolled back the last update to get the site working again and consider making a proper staging or sandbox instance so these things can be tested. Surely there is versioning controls..... right? This is such a major breakage of the site, and not for the free users, but only paying customers. 😵

Hmm. I would be nice if when pushing these UI updates that the previous UI layer could be placed on a different url, maybe something like https://tested.suno.com since we know that one has been well tested and wait for the bugs to be worked out since we are all expecting to be paying for a working product. Then if the S hits the fan again, we can at least go to another room and keep working instead of being in the line of fire. Lots of paying customers will likely have unused or wasted credits because of the time it is taking to decide that this unannounced update was maybe a bit botched and rolled back where it could be fixed somewhere that isn't in the middle of the street.
Suno is hallucinating ridiculously long intro and outros for me again. First line of lyrics is [Verse 1] and I still get a 60 second humming intro.
Wasted a bunch of credits trying to change prompts, finally gave up and tried to trim them with the editor... which promptly crashes as soon as I do pretty much anything.
I’ve been having repeated issues with the web version of Suno and how it handles instructions. In many generations, the singer also sings the instructions themselves, different singers get mixed together, and the lyrics don’t match the words I wrote in the prompt.
I kept trying because I thought it was just a sporadic bug, but it’s happening consistently and I’ve lost a lot of credits because of it.
Could you please review this issue and check my account for the failed generations? I’d really appreciate any help or credit adjustment you can provide.

I had that, of course it was creating a perfect track otherwise, it ruined a lot of tracks trying to generate more. anyway, hours and hours trying to get the lyric sections untangled chorus 3 kept running from editor and would create 2 more chorus 3 labels only and would not untangle for nothing. found out had to split the long outro in 2 spots then was able to get sections in order. Anyway i left it at that and i don't use that track. still had the unwanted intros and voices and my style was stuck with weird things. i had to go through that process to get that out of my style and reclaim myself. lost a lot of tracks but cleaned it all up.
I have 10k credits, it says I'm subbed, but anytime I try to create any song it tells me an internal error occurred and try again in a few seconds, it's been nearly 2 weeks. This occurs without fail on both my PC and my android phone. Both windows 11 and arch Linux. I don't get it.
Now it says I'm not subbed, only 50 credits, and the price seems to be double what it used to be for a month?!

Can't explain the phone thing, but Suno runs like a champ on Arch using Ungoogled Chromium from AUR with 0 extensions. I have had a few fails since I started out a few weeks ago, but they are fairly infrequent. Tried purging cache, etc?
Speaking of extensions/add-ons, could it be that you are running the same thing on both devices - assuming you're accessing Suno via the browser on the phone as well?
I've seen a fair few credits be returned through reporting bugs on clips and songs via the 3-dot/hamburger menu, though I suspect I've burned quite a few credits on similar experiences as well. Just figured I'd mention it in case you just let the glitches fade into the ether. :D
When ever i open the editor to edit a song, a random song plays stopping me from editing the song i was going to edit.

Until this is fixed, try enabling single-song repeat. I have this enabled and had been unable to reproduce this issue until I turned it off.

Make sure you don't have a track "selected" prior to jumping into studio. I'm having the same thing happen to me while A/B'ing clips for credits. I can press A to start playing the A clip and same for the B clip, but if I start/stop with SPACE, it'll also start/stop the main player in the background. xD
Not sure if anyone ever said anything, but thanks for fixing the editor bug. I would suggest making some sort of announcement or update so paying customers are aware, or at least feel like you are on top of things.
Can't add new songs to "liked playlist"...
The auto-play is broken. After finishing the playlist/create list. It plays some unwanted randoms song, now in addition to that.
When clicking to play another song in the playlist, instead of continuing the playlist, it plays another unwanted randoms song.
Please get a QA and Dev instance, actually test your stuff before releasing it.
This is not what the experience should be for a user. I don't want to pay to use a broken service, I'm working on my music when I'm in create, not looking for random music. Fix this please.

I have not been able to create new songs on the web. For some time, I had an error message displayed (see picture) when I tried to create a song some time ago.
Now, when I click the "Create" button, the error message does not pop up anymore, but still, no song is generated.
Also, in the library, the little pink dot next to the new songs does not disappear when the song is played. Looks like my profile is frozen in time.
I would appreciate being able to create again. Any advice?

A lot of privacy related add-ons seem to get in the way of Suno functioning predictably, which isn't uncommon, but rather than dig for the specific thing causing issue on an evolving platform, I've opted to just go with a dedicated blank browser profile for use with Suno and it has been working great for the most part here. :)
I also have this added vocal issue, I have specific instructions for an Intro with no vocals or humming, also in the exclude field "no vocal intro, no humming intro" and I get an into of "oOOohh ahhaoo" and all through the song lots of "ahhs and Oooohoos" This is V5, seems to be a thing.
I am not getting the long into though, actually for what I working on rn it's too short as I wanted a specific soundscape to open the track, but I'm getting vocal sounds instead, then straight into the first verse.
For me I think I was able to narrow the 'ghost song' that starts playing down to it happening to me when I press the next track media key button on my keyboard IF there is nothing playing. If I have a current gen playing and I press that button it will simply advance to the next track in the list, as expected. But if the previous track ended on its own it will start controlling some other media source (maybe another suno tab, or sometimes even a youtube video)
To me It seems like when a track stops playing naturally because it reached the end the tab is telling the OS that it has finished playing and no longer an active media source, so it gives up control and it falls back to whatever happens to be next in the list.
Brave browser (maybe others, I'm not sure as I use Brave and Firefox mainly) has added a music icon in the upper right that will give you a list of open tabs that are in the audio stack, so if something starts playing and you have a lot of stuff open like I do, you can usually quickly find it here and pause it without needing to go tab hunting.
Songs should no longer be playing when you enter the Editor. Please let me know if this is still happening (may need to do a browser page refresh before trying.)
Oh, for me this was outside of the editor, at the main library screen where I was comparing remasters.

This seems to be an over all trend. "Remaster" sounds much akin to the song being passed through a dynamic EQ and a compressor, which is absolutely wrecking the over all quality as the weird gargle one gets in certain parts of the spectrum when the context window during generation is crammed - also get more and more audible, so I'm not sure how it can be considered remastering. It's so far away from what a remaster entails it borders on misleading marketing (said jokingly ofc). :D
I have always just treated it as a way to get a new mix of the same song. But it is just making everything noisier now.
Regenerating whatever doesn't sound great along a copy of the song which doesn't have this track tends to be way better based on what little experience I have garnered. Another thing that is interesting is that somehow, the new track it lays down sounds extremely similar to the thing you're regenerating, often including the same imperfections, so it seems as if the context window jumps across Studio projects or is tied to the original track, completely ignoring what the current state of the project is.
Similarly when I were trying to do pretty much the same thing, but simply mute a bunch of botched tracks to regenerate, thinking that if it's muted, surely it doesn't count as context, but it sure does.
Closest I've come to a workaround is to export the track as described, download wav, upload wav, create new studio project and load the newly uploaded wav. Then context seem to be dropped.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm hoping maybe someone can correct my assumptions here as I'm just shy of 3 weeks into coming to grips with this platform. :D

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it seems like it.
My husband and I both use Suno daily. When I download the song movie the image covers the whole area and there's a song length timer. But when he downloads the song movie, the image is a tiny thumbnail in a box in the middle of the whole area and there's no song time counter. How does he get the same movie image format that I have? He contacted support, but never got a reply. Is there an option to change it or is his account bugged somehow?

The issue is that his downloaded videos don't look very good, because the image is so tiny. Mine look great.
Does he maybe download thumbs after generation, then generate more and eventually upload one of the downloaded ones? If so he's uploading a 216x216 pixel version and the original 1024x1024 is lost unless you have the url containing the UID of the original image. In that case one can prefix the filename in the URL so it looks like thisimage_large_<random-string-of-chars>.jeg.

Nah, we're doing the exact same thing to add the thumbnails. We both have a premium account too. Mine look like the one on the left and his looks like the one on the right.
My best guess would be that we're looking at a new version of what the vids will look like. This is a clever way to make low res thumbs not look horrible when scaled up to fill a screen.

I'm old fashioned in the way I title things. Including: Artist v/ft Other Artist - Track name (Genre if multiple). This way it's actually possible to relocate things besides memorizing how long a song is or the thumbnail while browsing the library.
And this is such a low hanging fruit type fix it's kinda weird nobody spent 5 minutes of adding a max character limit which then chucks a newline in there if things exceed. Or why not parse it and newline based on typical separator characters. 🤷
...It's fixed on the yucky looking thumbnails 😭 I hope they let us choose legacy style...

Its essentially splitting the Title string into vars containing whatever fits within the character limit, and if not true and separators are detected within each var, revert and replace leading and trailing spaces along with separator then check again until no longer true. Parse each new var to see if there are [] or (), then newline these and repeat the process.

Yea na, I just tested doing a manual remix by means of regenerating a guitar and drum track. v5 handled the drums quite well, but the guitars, oh my god. There's traces of drums, synths, and other stuff I don't remember mixed in with an extremely compressed guitar track that seem to just get worse and worse as it plays.
It's like listening to all of the worst rookie studio engineer mistakes, condensed into a single take.
If the target here is to essentially offer up affordable musicians for us to play producer with and the expectation is studio grade audio quality, oh boy. They need to retrain Suno on the engineering part. Holy heckers this is actually amazingly bad. And it's so weird that it's able to do so much better when generating the entire song based on nothing but text input. The second it's asked to recreate, the cracks start to appear.
Which reminds me, why on earth would any engineer find it to be a reasonable thing to fade out reverb that is still lingering? And not just at the end of songs, but during breaks, immediately as the instrument stops playing. Completely breaks immersion.
I can prompt my way around it, but it makes no sense that this is something that should be required.
Reverb decays. It is not a gate, nor should it be applied before one in the chain. xD

Not sure if this is a bug. Theres a spot incmy song where no matter what i replace lyrics with, suno has a stroke. If i put those lyrics anywhere else in song, they are fine.

I completely sunk into a rabbithole here now, but holy heck. It is well past time for a roll-back. v5 is completely unable to follow basic instructions and is tripping hard.

I've tried not prompting style, recreate, replace, new track + create with and without prompt, and it does not at all follow the tracks which aren't muted - nor does it matter if I remove the muted tracks. Over all it will halfway do a decent job, but the structure of the song is entirely new so I'll have to do a lot of cutting to make it work. I have burned about 600 credits on this experiment alone, and after thinking about it, I suspect maybe 70% of my credits have been spent on stuff like this.
All I wanted to do was recreate a percussion section and a sitar, this after one-clicking a recreation of a kontrabass that mostly followed the old one.
The entire point of this exercise is to replace poorly extracted stems which are filled with gargling and weird noise that is entirely out of place, or possibly belongs to another instrument.

Suno be like: Excuse me while I teleport myself from a perfectly dead room to another room which has no damping - in order to play this entirely different drum set for like 7 bars, then teleport back to something that kinda sounds like the other thing.
Naturally my response is to try to fix it, 6 hours later I've done it by hand by cut and pasting. Then if I do a cover with 100% audio and style similarity with 20-30% weirdness - I get the exact same song fed back to me, but it sounds so, so much better than a remix or doing it instrument by instrument within Studio....
Ofc, not entirely identical, but at this stage, I'm so fed up I just accept it in order to be done, and the cost of credits is so rediculous I'm starting to wonder if it's intentional.
Note to self: Rant about what our time is worth in exchange for A/B-ing reported clips.......
Anyway, I'm not done yet. But the fix: Have suno generate a template song by means of notation. Then have Suno create each instrument separately - then the Stem extraction (which is a trash tier thing to ever think is viable in production that is supposed to sound studio grade, when what it essentially is good for - is karaoke) - is entirely void and unnecessary.
Contemplating how many credits I've wasted on stems which I find to be full of artifacts and just weird moaning and wheezing, is actually infuriating.
But the point I'm working towards is - how many kilowatthours have been spent on stem extraction and regeneration because the foundation of how these things are created is super duper flawed, if not entirely backwards?
What is the point here? To burn resources and peoples money for a potential profit sometime in the future? There's no way this adds up financially at present, so why make it worse by going this route?
It turns out that even though I've enjoyed most of my experience, I have a lot of pent up anger xD
Like it should be so easy. Have suno write notes. Have suno generate each instrument with emphasis of maintaining consistency with respects to mic placement, the harmonics of the instrument, one at a time.
If it takes me like 200 covers to get the result I want, how on earth is that not more expensive in terms of running cots vs what you get to keep from my subscription fee?
None of it makes sense from a business, or developer standpoint.

Has anyone encountered the issue when exporting a video from Suno where the song lyrics contain Unicode characters? Mine ends up with very bad font errors. Does anyone have a solution?
i don't know if it's just me getting crazy working on the same song over and over again but i feel like v5 has a lot of high frequencies these days. and a lot more of artefacts than usual. i had to trash some very nice gens cause the quality or the errors just broke the vibe.
and when i tried to switch back to v4.5+, it sounded strangely flat, or just less concistant.
but like i said, it could also be me cause i'm trying to cover a song for several days almost in a row.
dang it, i remember having to trash one because the audio was slowly fading to the left overtime! and it was one of the best gens i had music-wise! i reported it, but i was so sad
You're not crazy. It gets worse and worse as clips or songs are remastered. It's about every single "Listen and Earn" A/B comparison I've done today.
Export to multitrack, get any DAW type software (Ardour, Reaper, etc), import, convert tracks to mono and hope there isn't many instruments bleeding over to stems they have no reason to be in.
I'd try copy and pasting the text into Notepad++, Zed or basically anything which is an IDE and not Microsofts latest attempt at invading their customers privacy otherwise known as Notepad. I guess the old, real version of Notepad.exe will do as well - *heaves for air* - then copy and paste it back into Suno to clear out any shady glitchy characters of unknown origin.
As I read my summary, it almost feels like someone pushed a dev build to production by accident and it's haven't propagated far enough to affect all users...yet.
What I mean is for languages using Unicode (such as Vietnamese), the song itself is fine but the lyrics displayed in the video are messed up - it is not an issue of weird characters.
i'm only covering from the source song though. not doing a cover of acover of a remaster or so, just still working from the source material so to speak...
Ah, sorry, misunderstood. I guess it's another post-it for the board related to parsing, specifically failing to handle certain characters, and somehow not throwing an exception and bailing out.

My workstation once more sends its regards and hope that this interpretation of what I attempted to say above is ...less confusing (even to me, and I wrote it):
Anything beyond creating a cover of the full song or an export containing only the isolated track you wish to improve quality for, will inevitably sound like the work of an inexperienced engineer. Specifically, one who hastily processes the track through a free dynamic EQ found online, then further ruins it with excessive compression settings—like a 2 ms attack time paired with a short release.
With careful BPM specification, along with Style and Audio influence set to 100% and Weirdness set to a random low number, will likely result in a cleaned up and fairly exact copy which can be opened in Studio, where you can then extract and export the cleaned up stem, then finally re-import it back into the original project.
As I'm polishing this rant further, it hits me how utterly absurd this is. Much less the sticky context stuff requiring me to download a wav file, only to re-upload it and create a new project in order to clear out old context from muted/deleted tracks/clips - which seem to cause new attempts at generating, regenerating or recreating to fix consistency/stroke issues by consistently replicating the exact issues I'm trying to get rid of. This also happens regardless of doing so on top of the original track or a new empty one, with or without a copy of the clip for reference during recreation/regeneration.
The amount of money lost to running-costs due to this quirk alone is slightly alarming to contemplate at scale.
Now, food - and a rage nap. This is ludicrous.
Also, I suspect the Trash Can might be of the forever-variety, or at least with a 2+ week long grace period before it's actually emptied.
Might be worth having a look in there to see if you can find that song of yours. :)
... what is even the point with my problem? i don't dl tracks to remaster them, i'm usualy fine with what suno offers and use suno tools such as extentions to get what i want. the only times i got to edit songs was for very specific things, like reassembling a song which will never be finished, or to use additional sounds and samples. otherwise i'm fine, and besides the few times i tried to dl stems they were of poor quality, so i decided to not work like that
Additional context: When I say I'm trying to get rid of things, it's not just playing a wrong note or things like that, but it literally reproduces the exact terribly broken guitar amp and absurd EQ that interrupts an otherwise excellent "recording". Even if this glitch is no longer present in the project, like....at all. It remembers.
So long attempts are made at fixing a clip which "stems" from a shared source, you can bet money on it also replicating the glitches unless using settings that inevitably end up in a completely new song being generated.
The project doesn't matter as much as the file which was first imported into a project does. Anything happening after that, will survive as the connection to the source remain even if nuked from orbit within any given project.
I'm just ranting in hope that maybe someone will catch any misconceptions, misunderstandings or confirmation bias that I may suffer from at this moment in time.... xD
But I feel you, completely.
It would be a horrible business model to make users want to flee into an actual DAW. :)
It dawns on me that it's not entirely unliky that Suno isn't utilizing a rolling context window.
It opens a whole new can of worms, but at least then it wouldn't end up with windows so crammed that it think the first thing it have memories of - must be how it shall always be.

Hey everyone, I ran into a bit of a bug with my Suno subscription. I was originally on the $8 normal plan (2,500 credits), and I bought a couple of extra 500-credit packs for $4 each. When those ran out, I decided to upgrade to the Pro plan, which gives 10,000 credits a month.
However, when I tried to pay for the Pro plan, my card didn’t have enough balance and the payment failed. At the same time, I got credited with both the 10,000 Pro plan credits . Now my account has those extra credits, but it's also stuck waiting for the $30 Pro payment that never went through.
Could someone help me get this sorted out? Thanks in advance!
Suno still doesn't understand simple instructions and still messes up the simplest of lyrics, I'm tired of supporting something that promises new quality, new innovations without addressing underlying issues which have appeared since the first models. I'm sorry if my message sounds bitter, but I burned through credits, trying to get SUno to do simple things, like male voice saying a couple words, female a couple other worfs. Well prompted, spaced out, emphasised who says what and still, it does what it wants regardless of the sliders as well. It's a fun pass time, but not a serious tool.

After 1 song is played (from the created ones) , instead of continuing to play the next created song, the player goes to a random song
Shuffle option is not enabled (obviously - and can be seen from screenshot).
I don't know if tech guys from Suno even look on this chat to address such issues but im 100% sure they need better QA and/or better time and resource management to fix user experience issues.
Another problem with the playback function is you can't even turn off auto-play, it used to work a long time ago and I am talking months and months ago. But now it will always play the next song or as you say some random song now.
I encountered a bug with unpleasant consequences. I cleaned up my library, deleted some songs, and transferred others to other workspaces. However, it seems that everything was sent to the trash instead of being moved to a workspace. Please tell me there's a way to recover them, to view the “trash”... I discovered this after finishing sorting through an entire workspace...
To view the trash click this button on the Library page at the top right. You can recover songs from the trash by clicking the 3 dots or right clicking the song and selecting "Restore to Library"

WAV downloads are restricted to paid plans. It has nothing to do with what plan the song was generated on (unlike the ownership).

Yeah I am not really worried about mp3/wav, that aspect just seemed weird to me (I am going to guess they are computing a copy of the file at request to save server space, so I guess subscription makes sense in this case). And yes, I haven't published a single song since my subscription lapsed.
I say lapsed, but I should be more concise: I simply reverted/downgraded to a free plan. It's not a case of lack of payment or declined payment etc.

Also, that error message? It's under the popup dialog box. For the first half dozen times I tried, I didn't even see the box, so I shrank the view to 90% and there, under the box, grayed-out, barely visible is the error. That most people aren't going to see on a desktop because of its placement. So that's a UI bug. I hope this feedback helps.
Yes it's happening to me. It stating that I can't create a persona out of a song that was created by an uploaded file. The only issue is it wasn't created from an uploaded file, nor was the song that I remastered. So I'm not sure what is going on there.

I confirm : sometimes, the "move" (to trash or to another workspace) had a bug.This seems to happen when actions are performed in sequence. I would say that in this case, the last selection remains “checked,” even though it has been moved, and is moved again with the next action (even though other songs have been selected and the action applies to them). I had this today : move one song on a workspace 1 , another song in another workspace 2 : the two song are on workspace2 and workspace1 is empty.

I found bug about the editor the other day. When I went to the editor the next song in the library list started playing another song. The solution I found was to go to the last song, play it, stop it, and then open the editor.
That seems to be solved in the browser now, though. So you probably already knew about it. But Ill just shoot it out anyway in case you don´t. Thank you.

Just in case it's this: Make sure you have the same lyrics displayed in the song you are remastering. The remaster uses the displayed lyrics so if they are missing it's likely to not sing them properly.

The "Subscribe" button for the Annual Pro Plan (₹408/mo) is completely unresponsive. It loads but fails to trigger the payment gateway (Stripe).
Comparison:
- ₹408 Button (Pro): Fails silently. No pop-up.
- ₹1200 Button (Premier): Works perfectly. The Stripe checkout page opens immediately for ₹14,400.
Suspected Cause:
It seems like a configuration error with the INR currency threshold for the lower-priced plan in the payment gateway settings (common RBI recurring payment issue).

Do not purchase any subscription on Suno. You won’t be able to cancel it at all. They will keep charging your account, and their support doesn’t respond.
I've canceled several times when taking a break and it worked fine on my end. Support can take up to 4 weeks or so depending on backlog. If you need an emergency follow up to an existing ticket use #archived-ticket-help and hopefully a staff member can chase it up for you

Ahoy Suno Code/Dev team - please look into whatever goes into the code for generations around "rock" music. Any semblance of a "rock" based prompt I have tried for generations in the last day or two keeps spitting out "songs" where the instruments go dull, fading into the background, then come back as some sort of garbled roar that overpowers everything else.
Unable to extended sub with the black friday deal.
I am on my second annual subscription with suno. Wanted to take advantage of the Black friday deal to add a year to my sub..... but it won't give me the option.
Is it a bug or a lack of loyalty to long time subscribers?

No picture being generated at song creation time, at the moment. Web browser.
I can't create an image either, and it's created with a blank background. And when I create it and play music, it starts playing from the third time. The second song is skipped. I tried deleting cookies, but the symptom is the same. It's a bug symptom.
Image generation is broken
ok, refreshed create page, I can see that the image is there now, though its taking an age to appear. More worringly is that the last song I created has now disappeared, not even in the Library. And the song generated before the last song seems to be 'hung' as I am unable to play either version.
My Google Play subscription is active, but my Suno account is stuck on Free mode. Support email only sends automated messages since January 13. Can a moderator please forward my case to the billing team?

Hi, my Suno account is broken when I log in with Facebook.
Profile area stays grey, no username, and I can’t use Create. On my phone I get “Create Form Error – There was an error loading the Create Form”.
I already tried clearing cookies, other browsers, incognito, PC and mobile, but the issue is still there.

When you stay it's stuck in free mode, what happens when you Sign Out, and sign back in with your email address (assuming you previously Signed in with your phone number). Alternatively, try signing back in with your phone number (assuming you previously Signed in with your email address).

I’ve downloaded both and combined them in a single one in my DAW and have uploaded the merged version in Suno in order to continue to amend it (via the cover feature).

Dude, this happens because you are uploading copyrighted material. Nothing to do with Suno's error.

Cannot accept the Black Friday Deal. Am on Premier and would like to re-up for another year. However, there is no button that says "Immediately Prorated" for upgrade / downgrade / cancel / etc. It just wants to renew on Dec 1 and doesn't seem to have any way to resolve that. Downgrading fails 100% of the time, BTW. So I can't do that at all.
Any ideas? Sent a message to billing@suno.com but not holding my breath on a turnaround on response.

The truth is that Suno isn't doing well with the Black Friday offer; many people aren't getting it, and you're getting it completely blank.

So, here's a weird one that's happened a couple times now. Suno will sing the song description in the style box.
This can happen if your style prompt looks like lyrics. Typically if you have the prompt on multiple lines, and with certain kinds of punctuation (brackets for example are used to indicate backing vocals.) Usually for this it's best to keep the style as a plain text set of instructions, just in one big paragraph.
Ahh. I thought it was because my lyrics are like 2 words per verse, so Suno was trying to make it up lol

I’m trying to generate a song using the public-domain text "Hanuman Chalisa", but Suno keeps blocking it with a copyright error. This is a historical devotional work that is legally in the public domain, so it shouldn’t trigger copyright restrictions. Could you please review and allow its use?

Weird. Black Friday deal shows up on iOS app but not on website. Would rather upgrade from web browser. Anyone else having this problem? I see the deal before I log in but after I log in the offer is no longer available. Is this deal not available for existing pro member wanting to upgrade to the Premier Plan?

The Android app has been updated and the Black Friday deals are now showing, but when you try to rupdate, it takes you to the website and the Black Friday deals still aren't there. The website is bugged.

I have no idea how to put this nicely, but Suno is bugged pretty bad. It is completely incapable of recreating a single instrument. It'll either ignore the instruction entirely, or include/bleed other instruments (often just sounding like garbled garbage).
Like I instructed it to Recreate a bass track, and you can hear poorly reconstructed parts and bits of everything else fade in and out - and the bass is barely there, but mostly not to be heard at all - and when it is it is out of sync with the rest of the track.
I do not fathom what has changed the last week, but it needs to be reverted. This is absolutely useless as a tool now past creating covers of covers of covers of covers HOPING that something will land where you want it to. There's 0 creative control.
Just in case this is not at all obvious: There's production, that's where paying customers live - then there's the testing branch, that's not where paying customers should be unless explicitly asked to be so - and if so; they should be able to switch between the builds. This is absurd. Sorry, but it really is.
And the constant switching of how an instrument sounds.......is not getting better. On the contrary, it's way, way worse. Electric guitars now is mostly just hollow distorted noise that sort of sounds guitar-like and is rescued by the presence of other instruments filling in the blanks - rendering the concept of stems entirely useless.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that when it actually does create a clean sounding track of a single instrument, has a habbit of compacting the full track I'm asking it to recreate down to about 75% of the original tracks duration, which is keeping the tempo, but aligns with nothing - so it's more akin to a speedrun of the parts it's supposed to recreate that requires heavy copy-pasting in order to fulfill it's function.
I don't know if it's a bug, but...read above.

Yea, this tends to happen. If you like something, download it before Suno decides it's a good idea to "redistill" the track...
If anything, this product has gotten me interested in production again, but I suspect I'll be shopping around for another platform relatively soon.

@dusk flicker @queen willow Once the songs have finished generating, they don't get processed further (even if you choose to remaster or edit them, you will get a new song - it won't modify the old one.) The only time a song is likely to become different is if the generation of that song needs to be restarted - this will happen within a few minutes of the song being generated / before it has finished generating.
If you have a specific song that sounds different when downloaded compared to how it sounds when played on the site, please send me an example of this so I can look into it.

Hi, I got this message yesterday.
The earn credits functions seems to have a bug.
I did 6 songs, then it reseted to 10 credits without giving me the 20 I earned just before.
Edit: It might be a delay. I think I got some more credits all of a sudden.

Suno dying? My uploaded videos are flickering for the thumbnail and aren't showing up at all.
Are Stems down? I clicked to extract all stems, and after 2 hours, I still have this screen. I've moved to a new track and tried it again with the same result. Firefox. MacOS Sierra.
Then there's a very late last pass that takes place after the spinning circle has cleared out. :P
I would have to guess at this stage, but if I identify any note-taking-in-title pattern that is likely to be one of these or it happens again, I shall let it be known.
