I really enjoy using Suno to turn my pre-written lyrics and melody ideas into full productions. My goal is then to replace the AI vocal with my own recorded vocal, but currently the downloaded stems seem to come from stem separation, which reduces audio quality.

It would be amazing if Suno could generate songs as true multitrack productions from the start, allowing users to download clean instrumentals or original stems instead of separated ones. This would make it much easier for artists to finish tracks professionally in a DAW.

The cost of the stems is charged against the cost of creating them. It's a generated result that takes server time which is charged against your credits.

A preview would literally be giving away the cost of that generation for free. It costs the same whether or not it is charged for or not.

I would like to draw attention to the pinboard system at Suno. Why limit users to 10 pinboards in their profile when we have several songs that we should be able to pinboard so that the songs we have created don't end up scattered all over the Suno homepage? I do believe you are not reading what I am telling you clearly. Stems are no more a gamble than is making a cover of a track.

Stems use the song as a prompt and generates the projected stems from that prompt.

Regardless of the output, it is still a generation. Energy has been expended. Costs have incurred which are agreed to when you submit for stems.

You are not paying for an outcome you prefer, you are paying for that outcome to be created at all.

like if a song is perfect, but there is 1 glitchy sound you cant catch with your daw, you'd need stems and if its a vocal glitch, it can still be hidden in a backing vocal stem which you dont get unless u extract all for 50

I tend to always extract full steams for glitches when I encounter them like that. I recall pulling my hair out for days on a song using a (then) new feature in testing which was perfect in every way except it had a glitch which made a cowbell like sound at places. I was able to fix the song by using stems, extracting everything and deleting the sections that had that sound.

Oddly enough it migrated through various stems at what seemed random to me. But once I was able to eliminate that annoying sound I could cover that output and fix the song. So I get it.

But yeah, always get the full stems and open it in Studio if you have Premiere.

I have forwarded the suggestion to where I hope it will be seen. Hopefully the wording can be made a bit clearer.

It is very annoying, that the comment box has a fixed height after you wrote more than just four lines of text. It should be flexible by either just to continue growing with each additional line until the maximum char count has been reacher or should have a grabber-like thingy to enlarge it while writing (e.g. like the lyrics box).

It'd be nice if, when extending a track, you could choose to exclude a portion of the original song that the extend is pulling from. I'm trying to create a song that starts as a duet, then moves to a single voice, but despite trying to encourage only the female vocal in the styles and negatives I keep getting the same back and forth between the male and female vocals when I extend the track because of the earlier context. If I could exclude some of the first part of the track to only the female parts, I'd probably be able to get the rest of the song extended with just female vocal I'm looking for.

Are there constant changes to Suno V5 Pro? I have lost four songs to trash again. This was not recognisable. The beat was wrong, the music was bad, and then two of the tracks became a terrible screeching interference, with no accountability for such a strange sound. I am completely perplexed by this. As other users have suggested on Facebook, this could be the result of server overload. Last week I burned through 2K credits just trying to get Suno to produce a single “decent” generation. Most of the results were endless reverb, mud, shimmer, random parts out of order, and out of tune. It’s a great way to kill both vibe and creativity. Yeah, I share your frustration! Also, makes me wonder why the generation pipeline doesn't have a simple step for a sanity check to make sure the result is not garbage (AI should be smart enough to catch its own boo-boos.)

Suno needs a standard way to recognize inline prompts using things like (lead) is inconsistently processed by suno. Sometimes it sees it as the lead singer, other times it just doesn't care what is there and puts any voice there, and sometimes it'll just sing it.

How about a setting in 'COVER' mode to allow us to generate songs that are much more like the original. You know, like keeps the same vocals and maybe just slightly alters things. No matter what settings on the sliders I try, the covers generated are far different than the originals. but as someone who spends most of thier time in the real world thinking about the world inside thier head, each of my genre bands has back stories. Members are all absurd and do absurd things. I find it helps give the music Co text. Think of it as virtual AI Spinal Tap. They all belong to a label (my prifile) and all interact with each other.

My point: why not make a "label" option complete with interview spaces, a bio description for each band, etc to really flesh out the music? Why IS that chick on all the album covers always dressed like she is at a Victorian funeral? Does she really medicate with leeches? Is the Capybara the actual label head?

Just saying, allowing folks to worldbuild sets you up to go beyond just music and postures you for all sorts of multimedia.

I am really pleased to see the introduction of the ability to create 'dry' (i.e. without FX) versions of the stems within Studio, however the actual implementation is a little clunkier than I was hoping for. Ideally the 'export multitrack' would include an option to export all tracks 'dry' (and ideally 'centred' in the stereo spectrum). Having do it at the individual clip level, whilst providing flexibility, could be very time consuming - particularly if the song was constructed within Studio with lots of small clips per track. Leaving the current implementation but adding the global 'dry' option at export time would give the best of both worlds.

Well, I think that all of what I proposed here would not just make things easier but would be a huge quality of life improvement.

It feels like a house where each room has some variety in standard things. Lets say in some rooms you find light switches where they normally belong, next to the door; in other rooms they are place on the floor under the window; in other rooms there are none... You get the idea I guess.

The various parts you find under Library seem to be done by different people at different times, it feels like every one of them "fragmented" a common (design) idea and only programmed the pieces that he/she deemed absolutely neccessary...

Something that's really dumb now, is the fact that when I open my song in Studio, I no longer have the lyrics etc in the left pane. Why not??? Where am I supposed to now get the lyrics from if I have Studio open already with the song in it... Am I now supposed to open a second browser so I can just be back in my Workspace or Library to get the lyrics of the song?? Seriously. Please give this back. If I click to open that pane on the left, everything is empty, where in the past my song's lyrics would be in there.

Just because I once happened to click on a random Suno shared link does not necessarily mean I want to FOREVER see a reminder to "follow" that person!
And it's not even working correctly: the "Following" tab only loads the first 20-40 profiles, and anyone who I'm already following but who didn't make it into those 20-40 is going to show up as a "follow" suggestion!
It also makes it so much harder to load the complete list of "Following"... you have to scroll to an exact spot between where the list currently ends and the darned "Suggestions" begin, and then to scroll very carefully to see new entries loading. Who ever thought this is a good UI design???

Idk if its just me, but I hate that you can’t update the release date of a song. Songs not published yet should have a made-date till published. This just makes sense. Granted, this could affect some contest, but then what you should do is let artist see the date the song was actually made.

So a example: I make a song 2025, released it 2026, it shouldn’t say “2025” and get pushed down. It should be new as a 2026 release as it was released 2026, just think about how many albums are affected by that feature, since their songs are older as they weren’t made legit in 1 day.

I have a suggestion. When someone uses another users persona, it should not be possible to overwrite the styles of the persona you use/borrow. I've had to take all my personas offline due to someone made a song with one of my personas and made something that isn't even associated with said persona. i aint used personas since i joined (2024), the reason why is because to me "personas" aren't really what they say on the can, it's more like a sample extraction tool for imitation rather than just pulling a vocalist's voice from a song and only allowing the use of that, like an accapella, and as a suggestion, i think they should make that more aligned with the latter so that "personas" are literally "personas" and are specific to the vocals only. this way you could make a coherent album or playlist without having to prompt whatever you used at the time of your persona, which could've been months ago and long deleted from the lyrics section and memory

It would also potentially eliminate the need for a Strength slider in Voice Personas.

Please give us the ability to manually adjust and define the voice of a Voice Persona (for example, through sliders for individual vocal attributes).

Suggestion for Improving Personas

I would strongly suggest a clear separation between voice identity and singing style. Personas should primarily define vocal characteristics (timbre, tone color, distinctiveness) rather than automatically inheriting a fixed style or genre behavior.

A possible system could consist of three components:

A) Synthetic Personas
Create voice personas via sliders (timbre, grit, vibrato, etc.) or prompt-based generation, with optional fine-tuning.

B) Extraction from owned/generated material
Optional voice extraction from SUNO-generated material only, allowing users to reuse that voice as a persona.

C) Verified Personal Voice
The ability to register one’s own natural voice after passing a liveness verification process (dynamic AI-generated text, time constraints, anti-spoofing measures).

This would allow Personas to truly represent what the name implies: a consistent, genre-independent vocal identity suitable for long-term projects, albums, or cohesive playlists.

Hello Suno team, I’m experiencing a frustrating issue while using the Studio web UI on my iPad. Whether I use my finger, a connected mouse, or the trackpad of my keyboard case to adjust the volume or pan sliders, the input gets 'stuck.' Once I touch a slider, it stays attached to the cursor, and the only way to release it is to refresh the page. If I’ve touched multiple sliders, they all begin to move simultaneously with the cursor.

This doesn't happen on my Android phone (Pixel Fold), where it works perfectly, but it's persistent on iPadOS. Since my iPad is my primary computer, this bug significantly impacts my workflow. I’d love to see a fix for this, as the iPad's screen size and aspect ratio are perfect for using Suno. Thank you!

I've noticed how the "mashup" songs start off strong, but in the last few minutes, the vocals are more in the background, making the difference between the beginning and the end quite noticeable. Has anyone else noticed this? It says it's in Beta, but version 5 still says it's in Beta too.

[Feature Request] Collapsible “Stacks” inside Library/Workspaces — stop the iteration clutter

Right now heavy iteration turns the Library into a flat cluttered feed. Stems, edits, extends, remasters, and new gens all land as separate top-level items and you lose the “which version led to the keeper” story instantly.
Please add collapsible Stacks per idea/run:

• New generations auto-group under one stack (v1, v2, v3…)

• Edits / Extend / Remaster / Stems show as nested children under the exact version they came from (no more top-level orphans)

• “Fork to new Stack” button when you branch in a totally different direction

• Optional “Flatten view” toggle to keep the current behavior for anyone who prefers it

This would keep every project readable at a glance, make version history obvious, and save hours of scrolling/hunting. Especially powerful inside Workspaces for album-length or concept projects where you’re managing dozens of variations per track.

I don't really know where to put this, but the quality of long tracks has become much worse, particularly while using personas. And by long I just mean 4+ minute tracks, not like insane 8+ minute tracks or anything. Most of what people do on Suno only requires the song to be 3 minutes or less, stream friendly beats and all, but the quality degradation of longer tracks hurts genres like metal or general self-written narrative tracks.

As well, personas have limited compatibility with a host of features now, as opposed to how they were previously. I do enjoy the increased vocal consistency, but they don't play as nicely with covers or any other kind of audio influence and they flat out don't work with extend. Are these issues known to the developers?

I’d like to give some feedback regarding the competitions. Honestly, it feels very unbalanced to have Free, Pro, and Premier users competing in the same pool. Users on paid plans have a massive advantage because they can re-roll and refine their songs until the production is perfect. Users on free plans are strictly limited and can't iterate as much. It would be much fairer if competitions were split by tiers, or if there was a specific category for free users. And I wish there was more transparency about the judging process. It’s hard to stay motivated when we don't even know if the original artists will ever hear our work. It feels like we're just throwing tracks into a void hoping a Suno mod likes it enough to pass it up the chain.

Same thing with the "'U.S. residents 18+ only'" stuff, It’s really unfair that Suno competitions are 'U.S. residents 18+ only' when we have PayPal for global payments.

Suno always seems to be good at doing things in the most pointless way. Their designers really have a problem with the way they think. This time, they want you to listen to a song before you can click like. It sounds like a good idea. I never like a song without listening to it first anyway. So it feels strange when you reduce visibility instead of making it easier for users to see how interesting something is before deciding to listen. You end up turning it into a question mark instead. The idea sounds good, but in practice it works out really badly

Free users DO invest in the platform: we provide as well the data and training that makes the AI better every day. Without the massive volume of free generations, the model wouldn't evolve as fast. We are not 'spamming'. The solution is fair tiers and entry limits, not excluding the global community that helps build Suno’s intelligence. The problem isn't the users, it's the system. Free users don't have the same tools or 'unlocked' features that paid plans have, which creates a huge quality gap. Instead of banning people, Suno should create separate tiers (Free vs. Paid) and, I agree, a limit on entries. This would stop the spam and give everyone a fair, global chance, regardless of their budget.

Rating our own music - some sort of 1-5 star system, when generating new themes it would be great to be able to not just like or dislike, but to be able to rank so I can sort my best ideas without losing the ones that may have value but just aren't there yet.

Sort Workspaces - by date, by name, by something - I have a blue million of these puppies now and they get out of hand

Batch Rename - you don't need it until you need it and you have to spend 30 minutes renaming a bunch of files that you generated before you realized you forgot to change the name and they are all mixed up.

Time Codes - I have been using Suno for brand work for some clients and being able to specifcy 15, 30, 60 second spots and/or being able to get Suno to create 15/30/60 second cutdowns of longer songs would be EPIC!!! Sometimes you gotta hit the time. I have had some success with timestamping in lyric and prompt but it varies.

Going to upvote @frozen scaffold suggestion for folders within workspaces - I do a lot of work for brands and right now am using naming to manage the different workspaces within each brand, but a folder structure would keep my workspaces cleaner.

Having said all that - the features you guys have added in the past 6 months alone are gold. Keep it up - such a great platform.

Feature Suggestion: Stem-to-Tab Export Option

I would love to suggest a powerful feature addition to Suno.

Since Suno already generates isolated stems (guitar, bass, drums, etc.), it would be incredibly valuable to add an option that converts those instrument stems into downloadable tablature.

For example:
• Guitar stem → Guitar tab (standard tuning or selectable tunings)
• Bass stem → Bass tab
• Drum stem → Drum notation

Even if the tab is “AI-generated draft quality,” it would be a massive creative tool for musicians who want to:
• Learn the parts
• Play along live
• Record covers
• Study the arrangement
• Modify riffs

This would turn Suno from just a music generator into a full musician workflow tool.

There is currently no clean, integrated platform that offers high-quality stem-to-tab conversion inside the same ecosystem.

I believe this feature would significantly increase engagement, retention, and subscription value for serious musicians.

A simple function in mashups where you can swap song 1 and 2. I find it helps a lot when the first song seems to dominate the generation. Especially if one is an instrumental. Clicking around always has the risk of a refresh undoing your work, so a button would help alleviate that issue.

i HELD ON TO ANOTHER MONTH. A slight change with Mash-up. But still, V5 does it's work to sing what is not in the lyrics. I have tried and more remix just mess the quality of the song trying to fix lyrics. Even in editor, it messes the melody of the song on that part you need to fix lyrics.

There is more work to be done. Producers should not worry too much because someone will have to take this to a studio to be fixed.

I want to offer feedback from the perspective of a serious songwriter who uses Suno for pitch-ready material. Right now, Suno feels like an incredible idea engine, but not yet a true compositional instrument.

The biggest limitation is lack of structural control. Many of us don’t need more DAW features, mashups, or social tools — we need macro-level determinism with micro-level creative variation.

Specifically, features like:

• Lock key and tempo
• Lock harmonic progression within a section
• Preserve vocal identity across regenerations
• Regenerate melody only (against fixed harmony)
• Control interval boldness / melodic risk

This would dramatically reduce the “roulette” feeling where a great chorus harmony is lost during regeneration. As it stands, every generation re-rolls too many variables at once.

For serious songwriters, composition quality matters more than production polish. Many of us master externally anyway. What would increase productivity the most is the ability to iterate hooks within fixed structural boundaries.

If Suno introduced a “Composer Mode” focused on structural control and melody iteration, I would happily pay a premium for it.

There’s a real opportunity here to move beyond novelty and become an essential tool for professional writers. 👍

---Bring back adding multiple songs at the same time using "cover"---

(Not the same as "mashup", it works INSANELY well for remastering and keeping the ENTIRE composition in tact. It only worked this way for a few days)

I have a long workflow that involves piecing a song together in studio, then re-running using cover, and doing this multiple times to get cool, specific compositions. Re-running helps multiple takes blend-soundwise so they don't sound like they're obviously multiple takes.

Still at the end of all that, I can end up with a mix that is OK, but not great. Stem separation usually leads to degradation that can make things worse, etc. "Remaster" feature does not make the mix pop. Re-covering is the best solution, but even with sliders cranked to retain as much of the original, it still easily loses composition halfway through.

For a few days, when you clicked "cover", it would add an additional instance to the cover box. Not necessarily a mashup.

I was getting amazing results re-running my studio compositions with two instances of the same song in the cover box. It was keeping the whole composition perfectly in tact most of the time and sometimes spitting out amazing mixes of the same song.

Bring that back. The "add instrumental" alone is NOT doing the trick. Two instances of the same song as a cover, or one instance as a cover, and one as "change instrumentation" was super-powerful.

Basically, please just roll back whatever update you made in the middle of the day today.
And what's even better is it would also listen to your prompt, so you could also remaster something into completely different instrumentation without hurting the composition. Please for the love of god bring it back. I had a whole album I was planning on remastering like this.

For a few days, selecting "cover" would add the song to the cover area similar to how it displays as "inspo".

I only discovered this because my workflow involves covering multiple versions and my covers wound up stacking and displaying similar to inspo, but each with its own dropdown menu.

Except each song (or instance of the same song) would have its own dropdown menu similar to the current menu when a song is selected as "Cover". My best results were with one instance as a cover and another instance as "change instrumentation", which I think has been replaced with "add instrumentation" which does not yield good results (presumably because it adds instrumentation instead of changing it).

This was not "inspo"

If it was that simple, I'd be finishing the third pass on my album without a headache right now.

1. Songs are not sorted according to creation date, nor publish date. The sort looks more like "top" does, but is also not exactly the same order. Sort strictly by publish date is my suggestion.
2. What is "top"? Some kind of weighing of listens+likes+comments? It seems to include the listens I made myself, which is ok, but not a measure of external popularity.
3. The default is to show "tiles" rather than "list". When I reload the page it shows tiles even if I selected list format before. The selection should be included in the URL so I can decide which to show.
4. The list view shows a "remix" icon on songs open for remix. This is helpful, because it's hard to quickly verify which songs are open for remix. Again, having the "recent" sort order would make it more useful. And I might wonder why this list looks different for "others" and "myself", why not show exactly the same and leave the administration the the "library" view?
5. The "visibility" menu can turn off "remix" for one song. This is efficient, but I noticed that sometimes the icon came back when I scrolled down. When I reloaded the page it reset back to "false". This doesn't raise trust.
6. If another user have the page open, it seems to allow remix until they reload. Considering it as a timing issue, it may not matter. One would however expect the backend to say no, even if the frontend wasn't up to date.
7. Remixing other's works are complicating the ownership. The default "remix is always on" is annoying if you prefer "off".

You should understand Suno as a company that happened to make a music generator and turned it into a buzz generator. You think your niche is "many" and "important", but they already found the mass market and will milk that dry. McDonald's "fast food" concept can not adapt to "real chefs" that would like access to the kitchen. Sure, they pay more, but it's too complex. And chefs apparently still eat the standard burgers, so "thank you for the tip".

The social tools and "publish popups" are us doing their marketing campaign. That is first prio. But I think the DAW features are actually meant to give you the control you ask for. Did you try them? All of your bullets (minus the last) seems to fit the Studio workflow.

How many variables do you think there are? I guess they are several millons in a complex mesh and nobody understands them. This AI is built to generate songs from random input. It's hard to remove the roulette and still keep the output exciting. And you would not even want to control all parameters yourself. So the input is cleverly designed as "text prompt" and "audio prompt". The more you understand them, the more control you have. Give the chorus and another version you liked a "mashup"?

The biggest problem I've had with Suno from the beginning has been removing certain sounds after getting that one version that really sits well.

I wont explain every single thing I've tried that will make this comment way too long. But the fact that cover/inspo/remaster does not fix it without completely changing the song, is incredibly sad. Even after 20-30 attempts, I hear the same "hickup"/"tiny glitch" sounds at the exact same place.

• Yes, I have tried different lyrics, cover, then cover the cover with the original lyrics - the track never remains the same.

Please, Suno, add a tool to fix this. I have many ideas on how you could approach this - let me know if you want more ideas!

1. A tool that scans for sudden waveform spikes out of nowhere that is not rythmic nor sounds like any other sounds in the track.

• Even better: Allow the user to pin point where there are problematic sounds.

2. Similar to the remaster tool: A "Remake" tool for melody and vocals (two separated tools).

• Remake melody keeps the vocals as is, but creates the melody from scratch.
• Remake vocals keeps the persona/sound of the vocals, but targets pronunciation of words.

“Discover Music from artist worldwide?” Suno artist or artist/artist? That’s a little vague as they are scrapping the core model system soon? Is this trained on the Warner catalog or the old way for v6. It’s been around for a while and use to be the homepage way back. Are these track derivative works compiled from producers at Warner and if so what does that mean for user that use them collectively?

Sometimes it’s best to just grab the back tracking in Studio. Find the stem that has the artifact and cover just that. In the advanced settings for that stem make sure you have Weirdness at zero and Prompt adherence at zero. You need to move the Audio adherence to 100. That should remove the artifact with a limited amount of tries. The model will immediately know it’s instrumental if you don’t have lyrics attached. Then simply replace the faulty stem with that one. These click/stops or anomalies are usually on the bottom stem/others/ not the core stems. Some times the stem separator cant make heads or tails of that stem. Many times the I redo that one all together or just remove it from the stack.

I've tried that too. The sounds are not present in a single stem, only when they're combined (tested up to four extractions of the same track, 8 versions of the stems). And since the stems combined aren't 100% the same as the main audio, I'm forced to fix all the other artifacts that occur when splitting stems too - just to get a worse end result than the original.

I've tried removing the exact part of the original track and replacing it with original and remastered stems. What happens then is that I get another "glitch" I don't want in the track, since the transition is not going fluently. I've also tested remastering the end result of that process in hope that would smoothen the edited part, but the transition is still there (like a volume jump or something)

Based on today's experiments, my current theory is that it might be a pattern in the lyrics that makes the sound being recreated in all covers and remasters:

• If I change the word/words sung when the problems occur into a similar word with the same phonetic ending, the problem remains because the phonetic pattern remains the same.
• If I change the words completely — so the ending sound itself is different — then a cover version of the song don't inherit the unwanted sound.

So, changing lyrics "works".

But! Now I experienced that the unwanted sounds return (even in another part of the section) when I cover the track with the new lyrics using the old/actual lyrics.
So, my theory now is that this can be one way of solving it: by replacing the specific words in the lyrics with other words that has a different phonetic ending.

Now I'm looking for prompting tips to stop humming and other "vocal fill" to occur... There must be something one can do to make suno stop draaaaagging words out instead of simply stopping at the last word. Anyone?

I was struggling a lot with that problem, and kind of still do, but I learned a few things that I hope might help you out:

• Extended tracks are almost impossible to "replicate" using the cover remix
• It's usually the vocal lyrics that determine the duration - and it's really annoying how hard it is to control the instrumental sections of a song. But adjusting the lyrics and adding cues can help.
• I have often solved my issues by rewriting the style description without changing the concept, just other words and different order

I think I have tested all the music AIs and I canceled all of them after trying Suno. Now I have about 12.000 tracks in my library with God know how many stems. That's ALOT of experimenting because of the lack of guides and consistancy. But now I have a somewhat better idea on how to fix issues using their tools as a workaround, which indeed is a lot of credit wasting.
Thumb of rule: AI (all AI's) are great at generating stuff, especially when they're given some creative space. And, all AI sucks at editing.
But, using Suno Studio can really help out sometimes. Instead of wasting 100 credits on 10 covers, spending 50 credits to extract the stems and then 5-10 credits to remaster the end result can save you both frustration and 40% credits in this example

I have a question. When creating songs with Suno AI, the lyrics often break up and are not sung exactly as they are written, or the audio is often ad-libbed with lyrics that don't actually exist. So, I manually cut out sections and remaster them by connecting the ones I like. Does anyone else experience any issues with this? Because of such phenomena, Credits melts away like snow.

I've been creating a song using the date in the "Style" box and Title for the past 3 months everyday. It has created quite the library of songs.
It would be cool to have the "Calendar" Workspace, but within that a sub-workspace "2026 February" and "2026 January" etc.

I need to address something that honestly makes no sense.

I’m extending my own original traditional Irish track, and the only line I entered was:

“Do you know what I am?”

That’s it.

The system flagged it as copyrighted material and refused to generate.

This is a simple, everyday question. It is not unique. It is not tied to a specific song. It’s not even remotely identifiable as protected content. Blocking a phrase that generic makes the copyright filter feel overly aggressive and unreliable for serious creators.

If this line is supposedly connected to copyrighted material, then I would like clarity:

What specific source is being referenced?
Who owns it?
When was it published?
What exactly is triggering the violation?

If the system is going to block content, there needs to be transparency. Otherwise, creators are left guessing and wasting time trying to work around invisible rules.

I strongly suggest refining the copyright detection parameters. Common language should not be treated as infringement. We need room to write original music without being penalized for basic phrases.

I take my work seriously, and I use Suno as a serious tool. I need it to function with reasonable logic.

[Part 1/2]Suno Chart / Exposure Structure Improvement Proposal

I believe many of the conflicts we are currently seeing in the community are not caused by users themselves, but by the structure of the system. The chart currently appears to function largely around absolute like counts (Chart Score ≈ Likes). When a system is structured this way, competition naturally shifts from music quality to like accumulation.

This creates a chain reaction:
Music competition → Like competition → Like exchanges → Like farming.

As a result, we start to see community fatigue and conflicts such as:

• People liking tracks before actually listening
• Social pressure to return likes
• Frustration when likes are not reciprocated

Another major issue is that the value of followers is currently very weak. When creators gain followers but their new songs are not reliably delivered to those followers, the follow system stops functioning like a subscription and becomes just a number.

For context, I currently have around 3,000 followers, and even at that level it often feels like followers do not reliably see new uploads.

I would like to suggest two structural ideas that could help restore balance.

[Part 2/2] Proposed Fixes (Keep It Simple)

1. Like Weight Based on Follower Size
   Instead of treating every like as equal, the value of a like could be adjusted based on the creator’s follower count.

Example:
Like Weight = 1 / log10(followers + 10)

Meaning:

• Smaller creators: each like has slightly higher weight
• Larger creators: likes are slightly diluted

This keeps discovery open while preventing network-size dominance.

2. Restore the Natural Advantage of Existing Creators Through Follower Notifications
   Existing creators should not receive algorithmic privilege, but they should benefit from the audience they built. Following should behave like a true subscription system.

Possible improvements:

• New uploads appear more reliably in follower feeds
• Optional notifications when a followed creator releases a new track

If followers reliably see new music, creators will depend less on like circulation and more on genuine listening. This also reduces social pressure and conflict around likes.

This is not a new issue: SoundCloud struggled with “Like4Like” culture, while platforms like YouTube/Reddit reduce manipulation by not relying on a single metric.

Summary:

• Absolute-like charts encourage like farming and social pressure.
• Follower-based like weighting improves fairness.
• Follower notifications restore the meaning of following and reduce farming incentives.

Use case 1: change the lyrics while keeping vocal the same - everything including vocal style, melody, accents (other functions stay close to that but not exactly what I propose)

I absolutely love using AI for brainstorming and composition assistance—that is a fantastic use case—but I need a software that provides me with 'infallible' session musicians who perform exactly what I write.
​I need multi-track support, the ability to import MusicXML, MIDI, or even better, individual stems from Dorico or Guitar Pro for Suno to render. Ideally, I’d love an interface like Dorico combined with a music-literate AI assistant. Suno sounds better than anything else out there, which is why it’s so disappointing that it remains a 'toy' for non-musicians. You should really consider developing a professional PC software; with competitors like ACE Studio integrating EastWest libraries for rock and metal, Suno is at risk of losing the professional market. Please, give us a tool that empowers composers rather than replacing them.

For example, recording voices outside of Suno and then saving them as personas that we could reuse in our songs.

This would make it possible to create songs where several specific voices sing together.

Right now I’m working on a fictional group called AXIS, and I would love to make all the members sing together in the same song. At the moment, I can only do the usual duos or solo voices, so it’s not really possible to create a full group performance.

a few things that I've been silently begging for since I started making songs here during the days of V2.

1. Better version/project management. Right now, you generate a bunch of songs at once and it gets messy, really messy...really fast. a proper branching tree for switching between versions, ordered by the time of generation, then any remixes or extends we do off that track, like a git history for songs, could possibly let us track iterations without losing earlier takes. I've lost track of many gens in the flood before.

2. COLLABORATION FEATURES. I BEG OF YOU. No realtime co-creation exists on the site. This is an absolute gold mine. Develop a live session system where two or more users can real-time collaborate with each other on a generation and provide feedback in say, a chat system to each other about how they feel about certain things. Even a basic "share a session" link where two people can contribute prompts or edits to the same track would GENUINELY open up a lot of use cases.

3. Suno Studio on paper was an amazing idea. Stem seperation and MIDI export, yes, but it still feels like a sketching tool. Possibly tighter albeton/logic integration?

4. Prompt Feedback and Explainability. One of my frustrations has always been a lack of control. The AI that suno runs can misunderstand my prompts or create something totally different from what I had in mind, like creating a color bass remix of an EDM based song and it just not change anything about the original. A feature that explains WHY it interpreted my prompt a certain way, or lets me visually tag and lock down specific elements of the gen, such as the tempo, key, and vocal tone, or the synth, etc then REGENERATE based off of what I chose to lock in, could be a huge change.

5. This is an obvious one, but the iOS and android apps still have significant gaps in use cases compared to the web app, such as still not having personas. it seems like low hanging fruit to change that.

Feature Request: Options to Hide Metrics and Disable Social Interactions
I would like to suggest a new feature: the ability for users to hide play counts and like counts, and even the option to disable the 'Like' button entirely on our tracks.
I do not want my creative work to be defined by play counts or likes. To be honest, I strongly dislike the culture of "data competition" that these metrics create. While I understand that AI relies on data to improve, as a creator, I should have the right to choose whether or not to display these indicators.
Please give users the freedom to opt-out of these social metrics and let the music speak for itself.

I’ve decided to embrace these tools as a core part of my workflow, and after upgrading to a Premium plan for Studio access, I see the potential for Suno to become my primary production environment. However, to truly replace a traditional DAW for a full-scale professional product, there are three critical "Musician-First" pillars that need to be addressed:

   While the current stem separation is a great start, it’s still too "bundled" for a professional mix.

Individual Instrument Stems: If a track has three distinct guitar layers, we need three separate stems—not one "Guitar" track with everything baked in.

Drum Separation: A single drum stem is a bottleneck. We need a "Breakout" option: Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat, and Overheads as individual tracks.

MIDI per Track: To truly bridge the gap, every generated audio stem should have a corresponding MIDI file.

3. Integrated DAW Functionality (The Studio Vision)
To stop the "Export to Logic/Ableton" loop, Suno Studio needs to expand its "Pro" toolkit:

Virtual Instrument Packs: There is a massive commercial opportunity here. Let us swap generated sounds for "Suno Premium VSTs" (e.g., swapping an AI piano for a high-fidelity Studio Grand preset).

Surgical Channel Strips: Real-time control over Gate, Compression, and specific EQ frequencies per track.

Vocal Post-Production: Prompt-based granular editing for vocals, such as "Reduce sibilance on this clip" or "Add 20ms of pre-delay to the reverb."

Suno is unmatched for quick sketches, but the "detail tweaking" phase is still very labor-intensive and requires external software. I’m ready to embrace an all-AI workflow, but we need these surgical tools to move from "demos" to "masters."

I've been dumping credits at end-of-cycle (July, August, September, November last year) and reviewing old gens lately. Listening to the songs themselves, not sound quality. The songs from those months feel more interesting: better song structures, unexpected progressions, melodies with real twists and turns. December onward? Safer, flatter, more predictable. Even when I use the prompts that used to work.

As someone who's been writing songs since 1987 (started at 17, some major labels stuff), in my opinion a boring song that sounds sonically amazing is inferior compared to a musically interesting one that sounds rough. You can always fix the sonics of an interesting song. You can recreate stems in a DAW, swap in real instruments, proper mixing…whatever. But a bad song is just bad. Steve Albini once told me, “You can’t turn a sausage into a trout - it may be a Jimmy Dean but it will never grow fins and swim.”

That frustration led to an idea: after 100+ failed attempts lately to get anything with real musical spark, I tried generating at 6 AM EST this morning (low-usage window) vs. the usual peak times (12 PM–10 PM weekdays, pretty much all weekends). Used prompts that worked last year, plus the modern detailed style blocks ([Fidelity], [Separation & Clarity], etc.).

Does timing actually change the model's behavior? Maybe more creative inference when servers aren't slammed? I did 16 gens with what should be excellent original lyrics between 6–7 AM EST today. Will follow up once I've reviewed them properly (car stereo test incoming).

Anyone else experimented with off-peak vs. peak for composition/creativity differences (not just artifacts/polish)? I am curious if this is just me or something real.

I've been using Suno about 5 months now and I definitely notice a difference during peek hours. It's not that you can't get the vibe you're looking for, but rather the level of artifacting and gibberish lyric delivery increases when more people are using it. for the web app, I find it way to easy to accidentally hover over the library (see screenshot, the bottom channel, that has the description of something from the library), which brings up a little descriptor window, (see screenshot) so if I am muting or selecting a channel, I often have to wait for the little library description window to open, then move my mouse to get to where I want to go, I do these ALL the time. Its just a little annoying, I never use the library, but I am constantly going from channel to channel. I see a lot of frustration over perceived negligence toward longstanding bugs. In reality though, I feel it's much more likely that they are being addressed or are in the pipeline. I feel like you guys could assuage user frustration over frequently encountered bugs by simply adding a public bug fix road map.

I played a fair amount of Star Citizen previously and was very impressed by the front facing communication the company maintains with its users. The game is hopelessly buggy, completely unusable at times and yet they continue to get record breaking revenue streams from donations and vanity sales. The functionality of the game itself can't explain the warm reception, but the communication with it's users certainly does. They are extremely communicative about bugs and upcoming features and are realistic about the current functionality of the game. Check out how much they've raked in over the years, while their game isn't even close to being out of beta after over a decade ha. I've played while the game was almost completely non functioning and users are mostly super chill about it because the SC team is out there saying, "Yo, we know it's a mess, but we're definitely working on it. That thing y'all mentioned, we heard you, we're working on it, oh that other thing? Yep, we're on that too!" That's money.

I would like a way to force Suno to generate only backing tracks (Karaoke style) when using the "Sample" feature.

The Problem:
Currently, when I generate a song using a sample, the AI almost always tries to include a lead vocal or a lead instrument that plays the main melody. Even if I use the "Instrumental" toggle, the AI often adds a lead synth or guitar that mimics a vocal line. This makes it very difficult to use the generated track as a backing track for my own recording or songwriting.

Why this is needed:
I want to use the "Sample" feature to create a high-quality musical foundation and then record my own original vocals or lead instruments over it. The "Cover" feature already does a great job of creating "Karaoke" style tracks—bringing that same logic or a dedicated "No Lead Melody" toggle to the Sample function would be a huge improvement for creators who want to add their own performance later.

Cache information in Create: When you have added Lyrics, Prompts and options settings, if you refresh the page all is lost... That can be some hard work lost if you have in your browser a "hibernate" mode when it refresh when go active again (happened me several times to lose changes made along different track iterations.
Also, when you copy a track profile for a new creation, add to copy also the options from it, and/or an option to clone a track (what has been used for it) useful for example for tracks where you have used other ones for inspiration... I used several iteration tracks and when I find a good one then I do not remember what I used for that track.

However, stem extraction has two major issues for high-quality production:

Audio Degradation: AI separation always leaves artifacts and lowers the overall fidelity compared to a native instrumental track.

Arrangement Gap: When Suno generates a track with vocals, it creates "space" in the arrangement for that lead. If you just remove the vocals, the remaining backing track often feels thin and less dynamic because it wasn't designed to stand on its own as a rich accompaniment.

That’s why a dedicated "Backing Track Mode" for the Sample feature is essential for creators who want professional-grade results!

It'd be nice to be able to use inpirations when extending a song. I'm trying to make a song with a tonal shift after the second half that extending would help with, but there's also a specific reference to a previous song I need to make in the second half that I can't link to when extending.

Former professional songwriter here. Suno Version 5 is fantastic. The voices are amazing, the production quality is great, and the lyrics are SO good. It would take me years to write lyrics like that. They even fit the melody really well. You guys have done an excellent job.

The one and only area that Suno could be improved is in the quality of the chorus melodies. You might improve them by fine-tuning your generation model on chorus melodies from every song that has gone to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. I would love to see Suno become better than human songwriters in every way.

Also the chorus lyrics should be a little more repetitive. Instead of this:

a good way to bring old 3.5/4 songs to 5 is:

audio influence 50% or higher - depends on your tolerance for changes. 100% might suffer audio quality a bit though. I would try 50 to 75% for a start

Then you get a quite good authentic experience and works far better than the remaster feature which copies over the old model artifacts too

But the context window is with persona around 2:30. So you need to cover the song in parts to keep it accurate
From 2:30 on when the cover context window is exhausted, then suno will do its own thing again. Especially because of it being so accurate this way, you will notice immediately

But doing the cover in parts its a good way to update your old songs 🙂

I just wish the context window would stay higher. So probably the 8min cap is still too short 😉

If you’re not willing to take responsibility for user safety, then you should seriously consider removing the trending system altogether. Right now, it’s being used in ways that enable harassment, and that shouldn’t be something your platform allows so openly.

Suno is already a strong music creation tool. People are here because of what it can do, not just because of trending. Removing that feature isn’t going to drive most users away. If anything, it could help restore trust in the platform.

Would really like to be able to generate a real Southern Gospel quartet sound. I have come somewhat close, but it has never come out right. I'm finding it impossible to use Suno for professional production due to three critical technical limitations:

Artifacts in Stems: Even in WAV, "Instrumental" or "Stems" outputs sound filtered/phasey rather than natively generated, making them unusable for mixing.
Vocal Bleed: "Instrumental only" generations consistently include vocal remnants or mumble tracks.
Structure Loss: Regenerating an instrumental version fails to preserve the original arrangement, timing, and melody of the vocal version.

Suggestion: To eliminate artifacts and phase issues from current stem-splitting methods, please consider an optional toggle for high-fidelity clean instrumentals. Instead of post-generation splitting, the workflow would generate instrumental and vocal tracks as separate, synchronized passes before summing them. This would deliver studio-grade instrumentals for DAW integration while ensuring the arrangement and timing remain identical to the vocal version. As an optional setting, it would avoid increasing generation times for casual users while providing a professional asset for creators.

1. Solve all bugs ocurring this last week, specially those who make us unable to keep working on tracks (and the reason we are paying monthly). I mean the tracks being cutoff at 4:30, at 5:30 or really bad quality audio on some of them (shouldn't be that bad in v5).
2. Better communication with community regarding updates and troubleshooting.
3. Cache saving of your configuration of a track (lyric, style, options, etc) also if you have inspiration tracks, keep them on the list, is so tedious when you accidentally go to another section and lose all your progress there.
   3b. Also apart of that, a way to "recover" a full configuration from a track, including options and tracks used as inspiration (if they are available).
4. New metatags for duos, trios or groups specifying all kind of vocals on song, and tag them on lyrics.

Extension scope: As models got better, their memory got MUCH better and can take an entire piece of music into account when extending. However this can sometimes be a disadvantage and makes the model generate extensions which are low in quality and messy.

My idea is that a new slider is introduced so that the context that the Ai is given when extending can be modified as an alternative to sending in the entire song.

1. I know for Cover/Remix, the original creators would see what covers/remixes other creators have done once they have published the song publicly. BUT, what if they don't publish it, download the song and upload to a different platform and say this is their original?

I think it would be better to let original creators gain access to ALL covers and remixes done from their original songs, whether or not these are private or public. Would be great further if we can opt in or out to be notified of these other covers/remixes, just so we can track everything. This is especially important for me as someone who writes their own original lyrics.

2. Would be great to have the ability to "Request permission to Cover/Remix" with just a click of a button. For creators like me who have Remix option disabled by default for my IP's security, but open to having other creators remix it too.

Then creators could individually grant access to other creators who request permission, and also get notified when their songs get covered or remixed (aligned with #1).

3. With the option Use Styles & Lyrics, because it doesn't necessarily take the original's seed for generating the new music, who now owns the IP of that newly generated song? Just wanted to say that I think this option is not very useful or that it does not help protect the IP of the original creator.

To improve, I'd suggest that newly generated songs that Used Styles or Lyrics will appear as Inspired By the original song, same way how Remixes appear. But also would be great to opt in or out of these updates too (aligned with #1)

I would really love if the filters also included a “Never played/listened to” option. Often when I create songs, I make a lot in a short time, and so it would be helpful to be able to just view all the ones I haven’t listened to. I usually give the new songs a listen so I know right away whether I have to generate new versions of a song.

I would also really like it if the filter Hide disliked songs isn’t turned on by default. I would either like to have it turned OFF by default, or that Suno at least remembers that I want to view all songs in the library and not hide disliked songs. Even if I dislike a song, I still want it to appear among the others. When on web on desktop, I can “hop” to s different spot/page in the library by scrolling down a bit to get the page x/xx to appear and then I can type in the page I want to go to. But if disliked songs aren’t included, then the page number is off. The page number might differ a lot if you sometimes view all songs and at other times you don’t see disliked songs.

Another request: I would also love it if I can do more than either choosing to see the newest or the oldest songs first. As far as I know, you can only switch between oldest/newest on web/desktop and not on mobile. I can live with not being able to sort the songs in my library differently on mobile, but on desktop I’d like to be able to sort all songs alphabetically too, and maybe also by number of plays.

Here's a suggestion, before working on releasing new models that do more damage, fix the features that exist right now. Fix the remix feature so that one can actually remix a song without wasting hundreds of credits before the AI creates a remix that doesn't have distorted audio , fix the editor and especially fix the lyrics replacing feature as trying to replace a line in a song seems to be a whole new type of hell where one can easily waste thousands of credits when being charged for each attempt (that the AI will mess up in various ways 99.99% of the times, and when it doesn't mess it up, the generated replacement piece ends up being a different voice), fix the inspiration feature, fix the voice feature, sync the android version with the web version so that users on android can actually use the features that are only available on the web version. Fail to do this and you will find that the community of Suno users will slowly dwindle and fade away as more and more of us bet frustrated enough to move on to other similar apps. I for one will not be renewing the Premier tier subscription until all of these issues are fixed and I'm already researching on what other alternatives are out there and I'm pretty sure there are lots of Suno users out there that feel as frustrated as me. Oh, and the fact that there is no feature to straight up replace lyrics without messing with the style and voice of a song is really a joke. How is it that the AI doesn't keep track of the song it just made and can't replicate solely for the purpose of replacing lyrics.

I would really appreciate it if you could share, within reasonable limits, what issues you are currently aware of and which ones have already been fixed.
Right now, it’s very difficult to tell whether the behaviors we’re seeing are intentional (but not well received by users) or unintended issues.
If this information were shared, users could avoid repeatedly reporting behaviors that are already recognized as issues and instead wait for fixes. At the very least, it would provide reassurance that these problems are being addressed.
If something is intentional but simply not well received, we can give more specific feedback on what would make it better. However, without clarity, all we can really say is “something seems broken,” which isn’t very helpful.
It’s also unclear whether the fact that certain issues appear and disappear over time is due to ongoing fixes or something else.

I would add to this that if we can see reported bugs and issues, there should be a way to up vote them. That way when other people see "my bug has been reported," they can add their voice to show it has happened them as well.

Otherwise, there is no way for the developer to know how frequently a problem comes up. If an issue has 300 up votes, it is an indication the bug may be systemic, or otherwise impacting a lot of people. This can raise it's priority for resolution.

here's another suggestion, update the lyrics generator as it seems to be obsessed with jackets and coffee cups. I create songs in 4 different languages and in all of them, Suno likes to start the song with a coffee cup on the table, a jacket on the chair or in the corner, it gets tiresome. Title: Suggestions Regarding Spotify and Record Label Integration

1. It has been reported that Suno’s music is being removed from Spotify. I hope you can collaborate with Spotify to prevent already released albums from being deleted.

2. Please consider establishing a record label. It would be great if users could register their Suno music for release, and Suno could provide a full-service distribution process through to official release.

3. For free users, please introduce an ad-supported model. Similar to Spotify, users could listen to music for free but be required to hear advertisements. Additionally, it may be worth considering sharing a portion of the ad revenue with Suno users whose music receives a high number of plays.

4. For paid users, please ensure they can use the service without seeing or hearing advertisements. While free users would be required to watch or listen to ads (as mentioned in point 3), paid users should have an ad-free experience.

5. It would be great to have a shuffle (random play) feature. Also, having a shuffle option for favorite albums would be very useful—especially one that changes dynamically each time.

6. As mentioned earlier, in the Android app, when creating music, the lyrics and style currently reset after each generation. It would be much better if these settings remained unchanged, so users can easily regenerate music with the same style if they are not satisfied. The current reset behavior is inconvenient.

7. It would also be appreciated if the app supported MP4 video downloads.

Looking ahead, I anticipate there may be ongoing challenges with Spotify. I hope a well-balanced collaboration can be established. It might be a good idea to create a dedicated section on Spotify for Suno music or even introduce an AI music category.

When you permanently delete a song on suno, does suno still keep a backup of that song on their server or not? Because if former, my concern is it user could possibly lose ownership of that song once it's out of your account.

if you delete it from the library suno sends it to the trash bin. the trashbin is found on the top right corner in the library and thats where you can either delete your gens completly or restore. but most likely people move gens to the trash bin if gens are just garbage in general.

Can I suggest that workspaces are tiled the same way playlists are? Having a single list is a pain, when I create a workspace for each individual song. That list can really take up a long scroll down!

I know that. What I am curious about is that if you remove it completely from your trash bin, whether Suno also removes it from their server.

• If suno removes it from their server, then I would like to imagine that your IP is safe.
• But if suno keeps a copy of any song you permanently remove from your account (by deleting it from the trash bin), as far as I understand the terms of use, any "input" you use in Suno, it's still yours, but any "output" generated using Suno, is theirs, and that by deleting it from your account, would mean that you're kind of forfeiting ownership of that output.

I wish Suno would answer this, because I believe it's not explicitly stated in their ToS.

if your voice is weak, you need a mic boost, in my useage, it feels that the volumn is tied to your actual rercording, but , you are righjt there is a weights/bias issue as even at 100% audio influence on a pure written no othe raudio source track (or "Not a cover") It tens to favor/bias/weighted-to the AI singers and always makes me a secondary/backup/background/respond-to-call/etc. which.. at 100% Audio influence and it "My Voice" on my song... not good. So, volumn? that's probably you. But if you're just "where am I??" in general? That's probably on SUNO and the weights/bias. IMO

I came by though for an idea, a program to give a trickle of credits to users either free and paid/or just paid,
either way works.

In that, if you complete the following:

• 1 hour of suno radio listened to without large break (some grace for the other items and technical etc.)
• 1 or more likes on songs played on radio
• visit a song from radio and comment 1 or more
• not sure if follow should be a req - changes user data and listings and some may be particular on their follows... but not biggest deal either could do follows same way
• currently has less than 2000 freemium-creds from this or other free sources (future proof and anti-hording)
• good standing, has actual content made, not tagged for any botting suspected etc.

when all above after true:

Get rewarded say 20-40 credits? enough for a song gen or two :

Idea is:

• Incentive to get the flow going on SUNO on various fronts.
• Get people out of libraries and other services and check the radio out
• Minimal other interactions to entice ppl to actually interact and look about, though many will auto pilot but still.
• More comments more talking more suno community and jolly cooperation!
• and of course incentive with credit allowance (feemium)

Struggling with studio

Add a list of what not to add in the Custom Add instrument so that you just get the instrument you want. Set it to 100% listen to audio, 100% listen to the style suggested, keep the style list minimal as possible, only choose a smaller section of the song, ask it to be a solo cello and it adds other instruments like drums and piano (which are already in the song), it adds a second cello line over the top of the solo cello.

The ideas can be great but you can't control them the way you should be able to with the commands. And then you just use up all your credits trying to get a single line that should be maybe one or two takes to get a decent idea that is usable.

Surely, you use the create to get the whole creation of a song down, or have a song idea that you want to add to. Then use Studio to add the instrumentation that you want. If you've already got a drum part, bass part, and piano part, and you just want a solo cello Studio should be able to easily provide that because of the commands and the silders?

I've used 4k worth of credits over 2 songs and don't have any lines that I can use.

If I wanted two cellos one with sweeping lines and one with stabbing short notes I would have that in the command prompt. Isn't studio about refining the song and idea?

For covers, there should be a way to cut audio influence in two: one lines for Voices one for the track you want to cover. Having both of them under one single 'audio influence' means most of the time the new voice you want to add to an existing track doesn't work

It drives one batty - It is also playing phrase in front of where they are. I'm trying a cello line and it is playing parts before they happen in the song. Seems very buggy at the moment. I just use so many credits, trying, trying again, trying again. Have to try again later.

Even the solo cello has a second cello in it doing stabs over the top. Sometimes it gets separated in the extract, other times not.

Ask for a solo trumpet line, get a full brass section with two trumpets a sax and a trombone all at once

Play a single trumpet line, play it so that it fits in with the other music that is already there.

You guys need to realize that Personas were not just voices. It isn't just about recording your voice.
Personas are needed for the instrumental part. It's needed to constrain the music to the same shape as the input.

The fact you don't allow using Studio gens in persona is preventing remixing audio of the same shape as the selection making studio much less useful.
Personas are not voices - they're audio prompts. Don't limit horizons to Vox / voice - personas are so much more than a microphone recording.
For psytrance a Persona is full of Textures and shapes. This is more than Vox. It is Constraint.
It is a structure that keeps the cover timing and shape to be the same as the input audio while changing the Texture.
It is a style transfer while not changing the image..

So reducing everything to vox and forcing me to verify its my voice - like -- it's literally a choir ahh and sounds -- how can i verify that?

Personas can transform instrumental music with zero vocals, but you're preventing simple style transfer or images.

Imagine Stable Diffusion saying "Please verify that this image belongs to you by painting it on screen" whenever you generate an image..
That's what you're doing - it's ridiculous. It's image-to-image diffusion of mel spectrograms and CLIP encodings.

** Like -- the ONLY way to properly make any cover is to first make a persona of it -- and then generate the cover with that persona on. Everything else goes way too far outside of the input audio. You need personas to be more than Microphone recordings. **

Feedback about v5.0 and v5.5 vocal behavior

In the past, when using v5.0, about 1 out of every 30 generations would produce a vocal style similar to what we now hear in v5.5. When that happened, prompts seemed to influence the result quite well, and I could achieve the type of vocal performance I was aiming for.

However, since the release of v5.5, that kind of vocal output no longer appears in v5.0 at all. It used to happen occasionally, but now it seems completely gone.

At the same time, in v5.5 prompts appear to have very little influence on the generated results. Because of this, it is difficult to control the output and it makes the model hard to use for my workflow.

Ideally I would like to continue using v5.0, but the vocal behavior that used to appear occasionally (around 1 in 30 generations) seems to have disappeared.

Could the team confirm whether anything changed in the backend affecting v5.0 vocal generation or prompt responsiveness after the release of v5.5?

If this continues, I may unfortunately have to stop using the service, as the previous behavior was important for my music workflow.

Request to restore the original v5.0 behavior

I would like to request that the behavior and specifications of v5.0 be restored to how they were before the v5.5 release.

Before v5.5 was released, v5.0 produced results that responded much better to prompts, and certain vocal styles appeared occasionally. That behavior was very important for my workflow and allowed me to generate the type of music I was aiming for.

Since the release of v5.5, the behavior of v5.0 seems to have changed. The vocal styles and prompt responsiveness I relied on no longer appear.

If possible, I would strongly appreciate restoring v5.0 to its original behavior before the v5.5 update.

I don't use Suno's Studio because I'm not ready to find time to learn it and I already have FL Studio, so whenever I work on a project and I get few good parts in different covers I download all of them and do some magic in FL Studio to make it sound like one track, and after it I uploading it back to Suno to make cover, and when I finnaly got what I want I also want to make a Persona from it, but Suno thinks that track I've uploaded is not Suno's so I don't have full functionality over it. My suggestion is whenever I upload anything to Suno I want it to recognize it's own content or atlist ask is it or is it not made with Suno.

Also I want to have whole backlog of work I did with track, with all credits that was spent on every part it's made of and with links to all parts of it (moved to trash too), not only one it's think it's originated from.
I have few tracks that sound completely different yet they originated from really old one track, and I have really hard time to find that one variation that bring unique sound.

And it'll be great if there is possibility to restore v5 from september-october 2025 without all those adjustments that break it and make even completely different genres songs sound alike and ultra noizy (voice adjustments), I'm ready to overpay for it (and many others too tbh)

I saw someone mention in bugs-web that the “bug” option had disappeared from the song menu, so I checked—and it’s true. The 🐞 bug option is gone from the per-song menu and has been consolidated under “Report.”
On top of that, the field for writing detailed information under “Other” has also been removed.

Could "Workspaces" be added to the filter under Songs? This way I can view what songs I haven't added to a workspace rather than trying to re-add them when they're already in a workspace.

Also, fix song endings. Suno does a bad job with ending songs in a meaningful way. I've tried adding tags like [Outro] and even though they sound like they're going to end, Suno will abruptly cut the music anyway which ruins the ending. It's frustrating to have a song that's 95% there because the ending ruins it.

• Please add the ability to search based on votes, e.g., "less than 10 votes" or "exactly 1 vote" or "more than 50 votes," etc., ideally with the ability to specify the number.

These Remix events... it would be nice if there was an easy way to actually hear the song first. Clicking the link in the announcement took me to a page that appeared to have a play link on it, but the button did nothing. So I logged in to Suno and clicked the link in the event again. Same result. So I tried going to the artist's page using suno.com/@willionus or whatever his name is. "Profile doesn't exist." So then I said 🦆 it and clicked "remix." And I can't use the model and prompt for a longer intro for example, it just goes straight into business like the songs I fed into the model. It just strips me of any freedom. I understand the idea behind the hidden credit display – you want us to worry less and be more creatively free. That's a nice motive.

But honestly, for many of us, the implementation doesn't feel like freedom, but rather like a loss of control. If I can't see exactly how many credits I have left, I can't consciously decide when to experiment and when to be more frugal. Instead of "freeing up," it creates uncertainty – and when the "not enough credits" error suddenly appears, the frustration is immense.

Without a visible counter, you're blind. You're not acting consciously, but blindly – ​​until a mistake suddenly occurs. That's the opposite of being empowered.

The claim "You can find the details on the subscription page" is poor consolation.

If I'm in the middle of a creative flow, generating 20 variations of a chorus, I'm not going to navigate to the subscription page after every generation. The credit display needs to be contextual and immediately available where I'm working – directly in the creator interface.

A counter that you have to actively search for is no longer a counter, but a hidden value. It's like a speedometer that only lights up in the trunk – "you can always pull over and check how fast you're going."

I know you’re doing your jobs, and that not everything is decided collectively — I’m fully aware of that, and it’s completely normal. I also understand that the model engine and the overlay/UI are probably handled by separate teams.

However, I’d just like to point out that many (or at least some) users don’t see Suno as a social media platform — and don’t want it to be one. The homepage is so minimalistic that there’s simply no real reason to check it anymore. The “For You” tab mostly shows my own songs, which doesn’t feel right to me.

The fact that you can no longer see credits during generation is more of a downside. You can’t really estimate how many credits a song has cost or whether you can still extend it or not. I understand that this is meant to encourage purchasing more credits, but personally, it makes me use Suno more cautiously and much slower, instead of going full power with generating, extending, and covering tracks.

Please focus on fixing the real problems of the platform. New features tend to introduce new issues, while the old ones are still there and end up being consistently ignored. You don’t need to worry about not generating revenue — Suno is still “too good” overall for that.

I’m well aware that not every problem can be solved fairly for everyone, and that’s completely fine. But technical issues like noise, shimmering, or a sudden restart of a song that already played for 30 seconds are a different kind of frustrating.

Nonetheless, you’re all doing a great job, and I’m grateful to be part of this — to be here.

People hate losing control
When users have a limit, credits, minutes, attempts, or generations, they almost always want to see the remaining balance at a glance. That reduces anxiety and helps them plan their behavior. When the balance is hidden, it creates the feeling that:
“Something is being hidden from me”
“I’m being pushed to overspend”
“This service is inconvenient”

Hiding the metric almost always hurts UX
Users come to the main page not only to “spend,” but also to quickly understand their status:
how much is left
whether they need to conserve usage
whether it is time to top up
whether everything is fine with the account

If basic information architecture is broken for the sake of marketing, that is almost always a bad trade-off.

Spending may increase, but often only in the short term
Yes, the hypothesis is understandable: if the remaining balance is not shown, some users will consume less consciously and then buy more later. But that logic has side effects:
more frustration when it suddenly runs out

So you may gain a little ARPU now, but lose LTV later.

1. Many users want the “Trending” section back. I think it's a great tool for exploring what's being created.
2. An option for a lighter web version—I'm not sure if that's possible.
3. An option in playlists to automatically sort tracks by creation date.
4. The web version has a shuffle option, but it only plays songs that are currently loaded in the browser. If I open a playlist with 70 songs, the last ones will never be played until I scroll the bar to load them.
5. Sort your songs in the library by the number of plays.

Suno v5.5 needs more training on tribal rock, psychill, psybient, and electro-breakbeat. These genres (and probably others) tend to go towards a dance four-on-the-floor beat, which is incorrect. Also, it inserts unwanted vocals on instrumental only tracks.

In your Circles, would be great if you could add the social profile links beside their names so it's easy to look out for them rather than having to go through their profiles one by one and then going back to your page. " - this is often asked for and I believe the explanation that that is not a feature is because this could give a user the opportunity to download other people's playlists without permission.

This button is only needed by the song creator and won't be available to others. For example, I need to download my songs to a flash drive, and there are over a thousand of them. How do I download them? It's currently time-consuming.

Why were library pages removed? You know, when you went into the library before, it showed 20 songs per page, and you even had a little bar where you could say what page you wanted to go to. This infinite scroll thing is trash. 20k songs in my library, and now if i wanna go back to the first few that i ever did to see the difference in what i used to make as opposed to what i make now, I have to spend HOURS scrolling through thousands upon thousands of songs just to get to them. Worst change to the UI ever.

Hey Suno, here's my suggestion.

If you want to feature an artist, that featured artist can set a feature price. (e.g 5 credits). When you click on a profile, there's a button saying "Request Feature" or something like that. If they decline, nothing happens, but if they accept, you can invite them to a work area in Suno where you both can work on the lyrics in real time, like in Google Docs or Slides. Below the work area, there should be a button saying, "Complete Lyrics". Both artist must click the button to complete, and the featured artist will then give their credits (The cost to feature) from your account. You can even feature multiple artists at the same time and work on the lyrics in real time together. If you don't want feature requests, that's fine, you can turn it off with the click of a button. Now you may be asking, "Why do we need this?" "Can't we just feature for free?"
When feature requests are completely free, artists may receive too many random invites, joke requests, or low-effort collaborations. A credit cost makes the request feel more intentional and serious, so artists are more likely to pay attention.
Featured artists are contributing their creativity, voice style, writing ideas, and audience value. Giving them credits rewards their time and makes collaboration feel fair, even if it’s just a small amount.
A paid feature system would encourage more real partnerships between smaller and larger creators. Bigger artists may be more open to collaborating if there’s a built-in reward, and smaller artists get opportunities to grow through exposure and clout from those features.
If you think your popular and professional, set your price high, if not, go cheaper. It's your choice.

Also, I cannot find how to customize my profile page. You used to be able to specify which sections appear or are hidden. I can't find that now. I'd like to hide whatever that weird carousel thing is that seems to show some (but not all) of your pins? What the hell is this even for?

Also, Pins just act weird. What is the actual order they appear? On the web, Pins are first to be listed in your library, but on mobile, they just seem random. Random on the profile page, random on the library page.

Why are you doing such weird things? Why can you not implement basic functionality that are established user expectations on web and mobile apps? Do you need a UX person? I can help. I have nearly 15+ years as a software engineer, working in business, games, healthcare, and military applications.

You added infinite scroll to the library. This is such a dark pattern, why would you do this? And why are you wasting your time moving the furniture around the deck of the Titanic? Most people want paged search results so they can quickly navigate to different locations within the list. Infinite scroll is garbage that was invented by social media and trash websites to keep people scrolling longer to view more ads. Setting aside the fact that is despicable, it doesn't even fit what the library is used for anyway. This was a change literally nobody asked for, most people hate, and is a step backward in useability. A change for the sake of "change" with nothing but negative impact on the UX. A change that took developer time and budget money. What a colossal waste.

We want to be able to sort (or filter) by publish date, creation date, song length. And we want to go by listens, by comments, by likes, by Suno version, and combinations thereof. And not through some awkward drop down list with check boxes, some of which are mutually exclusive. Checkboxes shouldn't be in dropdowns. Mutually exclusive options shouldn't be checkboxes (they should be radio buttons). These are common UI/UX conventions that have been established for literal decades. This is how people expect interfaces to work. Reinventing the wheel is fine, when it's actually better, but this isn't.

We also want to be able to rearrange songs in our playlists. And play songs in random order on mobile.

Please stop wasting time making useless changes that nobody wants and actively degrading the experience of using your product.

Seriously, do you need help? I'm a senior software engineer with a Masters degree and 15+ years experience. You guys need someone that understands UI / UX and QA. Let's talk. Please, let's talk. Good grief.

I would like a feature that allows me to optionally bypass all Suno DSP filters (any added compression, stereo effect, reverb and so on, which is not part of any direct AI generation artifact) - on any stem / master bus / vocals, so people who use Suno stems as part of their own productions get better control over that part of their workflow

The new layout of the creator page is simply not well designed.
Endless scrolls? Hell no!
In some way, creators should be able to recognize themselves in it, and above all have control over what is pinned, where it is pinned, and in what order it appears especially when the number of pins has been reduced from 10 to 5.

The fact that the website now runs faster and more stable is noticeable, but the layout itself is not good.

Placing the bio at the very bottom is also a poor decision.

Once again, this raises the question: if something already needs to be changed, why is it not made optional?
Or, even better, adjustable for creators themselves?

Or, perhaps a completely radical idea, if such a deep intervention affects everyone, why is there no survey or feedback process upfront regarding the layout?
