Switched to my new macBook (m4) and there it works, so seems like they changed something which is not compatible anymore with older os like High Sierra and latest versions of chrome/safari working on these older machines. ;/

Extend didn't work anymore for me. Tried alot of them and no one was the right lyrics and for 6 Lines + instrumental section i get always 2-4 min extends. Should be around 30-60 seconds.

I tried to change it to legacy - the method works. But if the persona is not used, what should I do? Hardrock or rap vocals are obtained in the form of a chanson.

I think I have mine fully resolved now. I basically made a persona for 5.5, but what I did was make a cover of one of my songs that I wanted to use to keep the singer's voice with the persona/voice set on legacy. Kept the style prompts simple and put in the exclusion box the issues that were plaguing my 5.5 song generations. (In my case, I used these in the exclusion box: crowd, cheering, audience, live performance, applause, stadium ambience)

I then extended the new song and used that edited song to make a new persona/voice for 5.5

Edit: lol and that was what Suno told me in an email conversation... to just use legacy versions of the personas. And then was later told the issue I'm having has been submitted for specialist review.

I use Suno on 2 Macs and an android phone and have done since I joined. I was on one of the macs two
days ago (Mojave 10.14.6) and after a few minutes Suno suddenly closed and I got an error message on
a blank screen.
"Something went wrong!
An error has occurred. Please try refreshing the page.”
I tried refreshing it didn’t work.
Other things that didn't work include:
Closing and reopening Chrome.
Rebooting the computer.
Using Safari as a browser.
Removing all extensions in Chrome.
Browsing with an incognito window
Deleting all browser history including caches
Create a new user account on your Mac and try logging into Suno there.
Check system date and time settings, make sure they're correct (sometimes a mismatch blocks online services).
Temporarily disable any firewall or security software to see if they're interfering.
If you use a VPN or proxy on this device, try disabling it and access Suno again.
Everything but Suno works fine on the Mac where Suno won’t work and Suno works fine on my other mac
and on my android phone, but has not worked on the one Mac for two days.
I’m stumped. Any ideas?

Dude, totally wrong approach. It's broken on their side, and as you (and hundreds or thousands of others) tried "reinstall, removing extensions, updates" is not a proper solution. They should just fix something that WORKED totally fine.** "If something is working great - don't touch to not break it"** principle..... Just imaging, you use let's say 5-10 services, and each one will have their own bugs and put these bugs on you. No way, accepting that is a road to hell. So, I would sit still couple days and wait for a fix. (or if you have something urgent - just temporarly use firefox). I don't want update browser/system or somehow ruin my setup and workflow just to duct tape someone else bugs.... (and if society accept "it" - we will "install-reinstall-update" the rest of owr lifes)

Just relax and take a little break, instead of rushing "updating" on your side, and they will fix it soon. ❤️ 🤝

Does anyone know a working way to get a decent remix in 5.0 or 5.5? Even turning "Audio Influence" to 100% doesn't help (in fact, it makes it even worse). I don't even understand the point of these settings as they don't seem to influence anything. For example, a remix with "audio influence" 25% and other settings on 50% would resemble the original much more than a remix with "audio influence" 75%. How does that even work?

Is this when doing a "Replace"? If so there's currently a bug where this happens with v5.5 - this will get fixed but for now it's possible to use one of the other models to replace with by clicking the 3 dots at the top left and choosing e.g. v5.

Bro, same here. every generation is mega rushed, unless i give it heavy context via mashup. You literally have to give it no other option. Also, quality of v5.5 generations has degraded heavily since day 1. it was great at first, but now im getting nothing but garbled, sped up nonsense. poorly prompted v4 tier gens. I suspect it has something to do with the personalization data that theyre messing with, but lord knows the teething issues are ultra rough. idk if thats the case, but its something to keep in mind.

lyric magic wand in edit lyrics mode will get stuck spinning on a range of prompts and won't recover, thus making the lyric box contents unclickable and inaccessible even though you can exit the magic wand edit mode...workspace has to be reloaded, thus losing your existing workspace. It needs a timeout, so that control can be returned to the user when it gets hangs on a prompt command or the existing one is too long or not working.

This message: "Your lyrics contain copyrighted material. Please change it and try again." is frustratingly misleading, because it is frequently triggered even when the lyrics are public domain. Instead of properly distinguishing between copyrighted and non copyrighted material, it often blocks content that should not be restricted.

Documentation says you should have exclusive rights to the material you submit. Public domain material is non-exclusive by nature, and probably shouldn't be used at all based on the terminology in the TOS and pop ups you agree to before using certain features.

While some public domain works might pass the moderation check while others do not, because if there is a protected sound recording, it can get flagged. For example, "Jingle Bells" is in the public domain- the lyrics and composition are not protected. However, certain arrangements like the Frank Sinatra version are unique, and that sound recording is still protected despite the original content being PD. As such, this could flag moderation to avoid outputting anything that could resemble the protected work.

Even when the lyrics are only intended to be used with a Suno generated melody, the text gets blocked by Suno. Even the lyrics of “Jingle Bells” alone do not work, even though the lyrics are actually allowed to be used since they are in the public domain.

I second this as strong as humanly possible. I am with you on the struggles too. Not only does it add the drums but it's the most generic beat imaginable. I am making tracks using Audio seed of nothing but Through-Composed Piano, and Suno is like "Uhh, youu,,, you need drums now?!" i hate it so deeply

But an actual Bug that keeps happening and I have burnt about 100 Credits because of this.

I am using an Audio Seed, I have tried varying Audio Influence thresholds, from(60-100%), but the generation will start about a middle of the way through the Audio Seed.

Also V5 is broken for me. Any song I generate (100% of the time) is made with artifacts and white noise that did not used to be there prior to the V5.5 update.

If you make a cover, bring it into Studio, you can slap whatever you want on the valid entry you brought in, exports all as valid entry track no matter what it is, mashup, samples, other songs etc. long as the valid one is in there.

HUGE BUG. This has never heppened until recently. I'm adding backing vocals to my track in studio. It gives me backing vocals but there is a guitar or drums on the same stem as the backing vocals. My Pro subscription also expired. Support only sent a bot reply saying a specialist would take care of it. Since then NOTHING! i did a mashup-up w/ 2 v5.5 songs that both had style text box of song details populated, both published songs, the resultant mashup song details did not provide an option a style text box to fill in in style/genres. There is a bug also in the pro editor that does this missing style text box in song details if the song your editing has unpopulated/empty song details. I have the same problem. I reported it to Suno and after a brief email exchange was told the problem I am having will be brought up for specialist review. Anyway, I found out that the problem is tied to the personas. When I put them on legacy, the crowd noise and other live effects don't get generated in. I've made some new personas to try and keep the same voice, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Putting the persona on legacy though has worked 100 percent of the time.

“Suno chat” i did a test now.
Asked to speak and sing an andersen history the fox and the grapes.
It elaborates the lyrics but try to make 8 versions, i just click the button one time, and doesnt complete no one.
And i cant delete nothing i deleted. It doesnt delete but give a message that the file was sent do thrash but it didnt removed. And when i click … again it calls me to report an infringment.

Adding my voice is broken for me in Google Chrome 146.0.7680.165 on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1
I select the relevant audio input but when clicking the record button it doesn't appear to pick up any sound. Uploading audio works, but then it can't verify my voice because it can't pick up my voice.
I tried it in Safari and it worked, so may just be a Chrome issue
Edit: This appears to be caused by a USB audio device being plugged in, somehow this prevents any of the audio inputs from working in Chrome.

The other “problem” is with vocals. It continues to screams and do unwanted melismatics perfomances , specially on last chorus . It is an unwanted build up performance that sometimes it does sometimes not. It is ridiculous. All songs, and i just use suno upping my own songs , are turning in something like celine dion, mariah carey. It is very corny and gaudy. I use to put “melisma, ad libs, falsetto, scream, yells, improvisation, performatic singing “ on exclude but sometimes it works and sometimes not. Unpredictable. It is not everyone that like these kind of vocals and my songs have nothing to do with this kind of music. The solution is stem in studio and correcting the vocals covering littleparts . Not an automatic task indeed

3rd is a question: will someday i can use my voice/persona on studio? Is it planned to any future uograde . And thanks for developers. . I use suno since version 3 and it is a game changer

I've found that my issue with using the My Voice feature in Chrome appears to be due that Chrome now asks the user to select the microphone input when granting access to the microphone and this has priority over the microphone selected in the web application, unless the exact constraint is used.

I am using the cover feature with my own uploaded audio, which includes two guitars and vocals. One guitar plays the rhythm part, while the second guitar plays lead and solo lines. The model reproduces the verse and chorus structure well and keeps the general style and melody consistent. However, it does not correctly preserve later sections of the song, such as the bridge, guitar solos, or instrumental parts that occur closer to the end. These sections are always present in the generated output, but they are consistently reinterpreted and do not match the original recording in melody or structure. This happens across multiple generations and prompt variations. The same behavior occurs in different model versions, including version 5.0 and the newer 5.5, so it does not seem to be version-specific. It appears that the model is strongly conditioned on the earlier parts of the audio (verse and chorus), while later sections, including lead guitar parts, are only loosely approximated instead of being accurately followed. As a result, it is not possible to recreate songs with more complex structures using the cover feature, even when those elements are clearly present in the input audio.

I want to report an issue I’ve run into with Suno Studio.
I never had any problems using my usual prompts to generate individual, dedicated instrument tracks before. But ever since the 5.5 model update, whenever I try to make a single instrument track, it always ends up with extra, unwanted instruments that shouldn’t be there.
On the older Studio versions, I didn’t even need to mute any separate tracks. All I had to do was pick a new track, type in my prompt, and it would come out perfectly clean and on point every single time.
Now, even if I mute all the other tracks, I still can’t get a decent result. Half the time the generated track just copies the vocal melody exactly, and the rest of the time it’s still packed with random extra instruments.
I really hope you guys can look into this and get it fixed soon.

I uploaded a video clip of the backing vocal starting to work which is great but at 30 seconds a drum and guitar part are added in with the backing vocal. This seems to be a recent thing it's been starting to do. Can you fix this? For more information here is more explanation.
I bring my song into studio. I add a track, select 'backing vocals'. In style i put 'male harmony vocals', in lyrics i put the lyrics. When I hit generate it starts to give me a clean male harmony vocal but then drums start or a guitar part starts to play with the vocal. It just started doing this now. It's not giving me clean stems of just what I'm setting. The same with an instrument. I tried to add an organ and it's not giving me just the organ part, it's mixing into the stem a drum and a guitar. I've tried it both ways with the selection and with 'custom' where I actually type out what i want it to give me and it happens either way. Can you help with this? Thank you! Not common with 5.5, but not the first time it happens: track progressively loses volume, -10dB over the whole 4min track. Spectrally it stays constant (UNLIKE a similar problem that's happening with 5.0 where the mid-range progressively fades out), it's the overall volume that dips for no apparent reason.

New version, new bugs 😩 Newly created songs suddenly disappear in the creations tab, just to reappear minutes later. Mostly happens to the other, when i delete the one I don't like. Another thing is, Suno seems to mess up my intros and is often stuck in a loop, before continuing with the song. The vocals in the intros sound like a weird mashup between spoken in reverse, but are reapeated normal but strangely distorted and reverbed. Sound in general seems to have improved, but hi hats are extremely "noisy" sometimes. Kinda hurts to listen to them

Even though the weirdness slider is down to zero it seems to add still a bunch of weird stuff. Gets somewhat better, when I switch to other genres, but I can't finish or fine tune my current project, until I'm happy with it.

Hi, I’m having an issue with Suno generating unwanted vocals.

Even when I clearly set the track as instrumental or leave the lyrics empty, the system still adds AI-generated vocals on top of the music. This happens especially when I select genres like rock or punk.

Sometimes I even try to guide it by writing random text, joking sounds, or nothing at all, but Suno still creates a full vocal performance instead of keeping it instrumental.

Interestingly, when I switch to genres like reggae, it often works correctly and generates no vocals — which makes me think this might be related to how certain genres are handled internally.

This is really frustrating because I’m trying to create instrumental tracks only, and the unwanted vocals ruin the result.

Could you please look into this behavior or let me know if there is a reliable way to force strictly instrumental output?

Exporting Multitrack is not retaining the correct BPM, its exporting drum, instrument, vocal channels that drift wildly. They are locked and solid in SUNO on the web, but the export is broken and unusable, massive time sink to fix. Hours upon hours ❤️ help 🙏 There was a little drift in the SUNO project, but I painstakingly went through measure by measure fixing it, then exported and its all messed up again, forcing me to fix it in Ableton.. which will take ages. Almost not worth it. Any and all advice most welcome. Adding quantization breaks the feeling of the channels, makes it robotic, so I cannot simply quantize everything, but even if I did, the issue is in the multitrack export anyway.. I did a test and quantized some channels to see if it fixed it, but the export is still broken. All I want to do is export multitrack and have it be the same as it was in SUNO, it is not

V5 plays better now when covering, and I found that if you cover the very song too many times, things go wrong. So I just change the name of the cover in order to tell SUNO it's a new song. so that the cover will work like the first cover.

Jeez, 5.5 is way more broken than I thought. The more I work with it, the more things appear on the surface. Yesterday it was all about the almost forced in WHOOP background ad-lib in rap songs and what not, today it's about voices and styles in general.

I write in the prompt: "a baritone, gritty emotional male voice is shifting between soft, intimate almost spoken lines and explosive raw screams..." and more, but what do I get in every song? A guy that sounds like James Blunt!

Next point: style variation. Each version of the current song I work on starts almost identical into the intro, then Mr. Fake Blunt steps in, very similar pattern in singing and song construction.

Do you know the german word "Verschlimmbessern"? It's a con word for trying to fix things and/or making them better but with each try it gets worse somehow. In short: reverse improvement.

Using the personal voice persona, it doesnt enhance the voice. So lets say you cant sing but want to use your voice to hear what you sound like you did, i doesnt enhance it. It worked for 1 song and i was like, so this is what i may sound like if i took classes. But then when you cover another song or create one, you have your horrible voice lol, it doesnt enhance it or work. Not everyone here can sing unless its rock music. If its suppose to enhance the voice, it doesnt always do it.

Google’s authentication is working perfectly—the failure occurs within Suno’s internal database mapping. Suno is failing to link the verified session back to the original User ID, creating redundant "ghost accounts" instead. This is a classic mapping/index error on Suno’s side, affecting both Google and manual GMX/phone logins.

Nobody wants to take the blame, but that doesn't help me at all. ^^ Even if I delete the new email they forced on me, Suno probably won't recognize my original login anyway. And knowing Murphy's Law... if I delete it now, that'll be the exact moment someone actually starts working on my ticket. ^

FINALLY!!! It took Suno like... 3 months... since December 12th, 2025, at least, according to my first email to Suno's support team, regarding the issue, but I can finally generate songs again!

From December 12th of 2025 to March 30th of 2026, I was not able to generate a single song.

I only got that power back today, on March 31st of 2026, but like, come on. Suno's support team needs serious reforms to fix more of these problems, like this one, sooner, rather than later.

• V5 Audio is constantly producing artifacts for me. Regardless of how I make the song. Even if making the song with the same audio seed, and threshold values, or using persona or not, the artifacts are much more obvious than before the V5.5.

• The summary of style genre was appearing from within the create screen but it's no longer doing so.

• negative prompts are not working.

• Using V5.5 the song structure rarely matches the audio seed, this is mainly when using a persona/voice though.

• Tasks are broken (again lol!) It shows 10 tasks then goes to 0 after submitting the first one. Or some days it doesn't show up at all.

I've expeirenced this issue with about 1 in 3 renders on v5 before 5.5 came out. I kept reporting them. Where everything sounded scratchy and it would semi ignore my instructions. Now that 5.5 has came out.. those bad renders are exactly what 5.5 sounds like to me.

I am sure there's some sort of server compression going due to the amount of traffic causing it

The songs would generate 2, and then im looking at others songs while im waiting, and then 1 of 2 of the songs disappear, sometimes both of them. I would play the one that is generating, and then when i turn my head, the other one is gone. Boof.

What is going on with extends? I have instructions for an instrumental only extend, and I'm getting wither the last word of the song repeating over and over and over or unintelligible lyrics sung in a different voice and a completely different sound/genre to the song I am adding an ending to.

I ran into this too. I can find them by changing the search criteria randomly. Turning on stems, or samples, or turning on/off other random things even though it did not make sense the song might reappear in certain conditions.

(unless you're doing a remaster, then it's another bug, you've got to mess with the "hide disliked" filter for them to appear)

Note: I noticed a consistent pattern related to the Persona feature. When Persona is enabled, regardless of whether I use my own voice or a generated one, the bridge and other later sections are always reinterpreted and do not match the original recording. When Persona is disabled, the bridge is reproduced much more accurately and closely follows the original. This suggests that Persona may override or weaken how the model follows the reference audio, especially in later parts of the song.

The lyrics filter in v5.5 appears to falsely flag the German folk song “Grün, grün, grün sind alle meine Kleider” as copyrighted material.

This song is a traditional German folk song and is in the public domain. There is no active copyright on the lyrics or melody anymore.

The exact same song text could still be used in previous Suno versions, including v5. Since v5.5, it is no longer possible to generate, cover, remaster or extend the song because the system immediately returns a copyright warning.

I wanted to create a new cover/remaster version of this traditional song in v5.5, but this is currently impossible because the lyrics are incorrectly blocked as copyrighted material.

Please review this as a false positive in the lyrics filter.

The cover feature in v5.5 will change the melody and BPM, which is more noticeable when handling the accompaniment separately. Adding the accompaniment option has similar problems, and it seems to affect v5 as well, causing the BPM to be unstable and change randomly. Additionally, it does not freely follow the prompts.

BUG: if you like songs in your workspace while songs are freshly generated and not clickable they generating songs disappear from workspace view and not visible even after turning off all filters (to workaround the bug where they hide them under a filter), the workspace shows the song count indicating they are visible if you open workspace in another window (obviously i'm not reloading and losing my workspace)...this happened to me twice since v5.5 release. Also I ended up missing a song, w/out a message about song not being generated or note on getting credit refunded or only charged 5 credits.......legit bug, liking a generated song while new gens are being created but not clickable yet causes them to disappear...repeated consistently 2/2 times.

Hi, I have trying to upload my sound file, where I was humming with "Da da dam da da dam da da dam dam" some melody and I got information about copyrighted text. I think it is a big mistake, because nobody should have rights for represetation of humming sound.
I have noticed similar situation for some historical texts, which are public domain like middle age Greensleeves. So this is also no okay.

I'm having issues with replacing lyrics in the editor. I select the line or lines I want to fix, then set up the replacment lyrics, and it all seems fine after I click to replace the lyrics. But the second I play the suggested inserted lyrics, the lyrics for the song truncate before the end of the line I want to replace and the resulting new segment has either a word missing or a weird blend of the old word and new word at that location. It happens whether I pick several lines before and after, or just the word or two. Tonight, it didn't update the lyrica audio at all. The more I reset and start over, the worse it seems to get. It's been this way for a few weeks now. I've tried purging my cache, to no avail. Is anyone else seeing this or something like this happen? Could it be my VPN or an ad blocker causing the problem?

I decided to try the new editor over the legacy, and this is why i dont use it but i use it when i need something out of it. It bugged and its taking parts from the new editor into the legacy and bugging the snot out of it.

But in experimenting with the voice clone, I noticed that the song I generated seems to morph into another voice that's similar to mine, but definitely different from the voice in the beginning of the song. No matter what persona, inspo or even the new model, I get my songs with the volume increasing slowly over time. It's been like this for a few months and I have been using different workspaces + crated new ones. Leaving style box empty doesnt matter, over-prompting doesnt matter. Covers doesn't help. Remastering doesn't help. It's pretty much happening in 90% of my songs. No pattern that follows that could explain it since I'm struggling hard to pinpoint the issue. MAJOR BUG: I'm noticing when i select a single song in the create screen and delete it, other songs dissapear! The don't delete but they drop from the list. If i open the create screen from another tab they are still there but they vanish from the screen where the workflow is. This is a serious problem. It looks like they get inadvertantly deleted. it's happening with a lot of regularity and took me awhile to figure out what was going on. The screen glitches a bit. 1 song gets deleted but mulitple songs are removed from the list causing a "ground truth" issue.

In all outputs since 5.5 dropped, the effects (most noticeably the reverb) on percussion instruments disappears and never returns mid-song, in addition to that, the treble response in the track gradually increases noticeably across all instruments. Recording engineer here since 1993 - this is real.

Songs will disappear if they're still generating sometimes. If you like a song for example, the tracks still generating will disappear - especially in studio.
They usually re-appear once it has a proper time stamp.
Just search for a blank space in the search bar like and you should see the missing track re-appear.

Suno generates music in Images, it has to generate a chunk of time all at once. so its really hard to just generate a little slice as big as a word - it has to actually generate like 30 seconds of audio and then cut out everything but that word, find the right place, etc

I would like to second, third, fourth, and infinite this issue, as it is extremely annoying for something to start as, some would call a banger, only for it to peter out into something that sounds cheap and tinny at best, especially with the hissing vocals. The tinniness was something that was a huge problem in 4.5 for a while, and y'all devs worked that out. It shouldn't have to be said that putting that same effort towards these newer models before they release should be the norm.

Secondly, another thing I notice in 5.5 that I find extremely annoying - any intro that has lyrics sung or spoken (especially spoken) are oft repeated, sometimes more than once or twice, before the verse lyrics kick in.

Hey <@&1108435550475653161> Team / Mods. I need to escalate a severe privacy flaw. The UI restrictions on Suno can be easily bypassed right now because there seems to be no backend validation.

If a creator disables remixes on a track and even explicitly blocks a user, that blocked user can STILL remix the song by simply using a direct remix URL. The backend doesn't check the author's permissions or blocklists at all.

Could a dev please look into this? Relying on UI-only blocks is a massive issue for creator privacy. I can provide the direct track URLs and the blocked user's ID.

I checked, and while I can't speak on suno's behalf of what it chipped your song as copyrighted for, I'm pretty sure that if you distributed the real version, to a service (distrokid or others) they may have included a copyright protection db service. I see this song on your soundcloud and on spotify, as well as amazon, so I assume you have a properly published song, which means whoever your publisher/distributor is, has your lyrics / audio in a copyright DB that suno uses on the backend, so, suno's lyrical match is probably correctly flagging your file as copyrighted/prior art, just there's no way it can know that it's YOU who actually own that song lol.

Also, the AI, is indeed nuts... just... I can't.. Gemini said this song was from Izal and Estelares , and from two different albums and 3 songs of estelares, and 2 different Izal songs, and then this screenshot :S

Just to clarify how incredibly easy this exploit is (this is a classic IDOR vulnerability). It's a double backend failure:

1. Data Leak: By simply pasting ANY track's UUID into this GET request in the browser: https://suno.com/create?remix_clip=[UUID]&remix_type=cover, the system completely bypasses the track's privacy settings. It does not matter do you allow to remix your tracks or not. Smart (bad) guys already know how to bypass that.
2. Broken Access Control: Hitting "Create" from that page bypasses backend validation entirely, ignoring the original author's "disable remix" flag and any personal blocklists.

This takes zero technical skills to abuse. Anyone can do it in 5 seconds.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Editors (Regular and Legacy) are curently completely incapable of creating smaller fragments of sound. When trying to fix small parts of a song it keeps generating 30s.+ to 2m.+ fragments that aren't compatible at all.
Something that in the past was super easy, changing a single word or 5-10s. fragment is now completely impossible. Is there an ETA in when this will be fixed?

I believe it's tied to v5.5 as I just tried to recreate the song in v5.0 it sounds better, has more consistence in tone and the generation keeps following the prompt without for some reason changing the single voice into a who group jamboree! And the v5.0 generations seem to function better when editing smaller snippets of sound. (At the moment I think I won't touch v5.5 for the forseeable future anymore).

I received a message from somebody today that I had blocked them from viewing my profile when I absolutely did not, I would attach a screenshot of it but the bot here just censored it and slapped me with a warning which is.. 😵‍💫 lol...

In the newest version of Suno, creating any type of dubstep or brostep consistently creates a song that sounds extremely similar, with the exact same signature type of growl bass sound that has almost no variety at all. It's a massive downgrade compared to previous versions and I don't see anyone else talking about it. I'm using the Pro plan, version 5.5, and I've used like 150 credits for a song with original lyrics. The root note of the songs and the structures are exact same, with the same old, boring, classic growl bass. I've tried changing the prompts from "heavy dubstep", "brutal dubstep", "dubstep", "brostep", it all makes the same thing! This never was an issue in the past. It used to have sooo much more variety, now it all sounds like it's made by the same person with the same plugin and same preset.

Voices are kind of mixed for me
When it works which is not often, it works well and almost always keeps the persona throughout the whole song (try putting [exactly match the persona's voice and vocal style] right at the start of the style instruction, it's not 100% reliable but noticeably does improve the odds of it doing what it's supposed to)
But out of the last 50 attempted generations, 44 were unusable because of glitched vocals in the first verse, which can't be fixed by remastering and often not by Replace Section either

Suno has some literally backwards logic on their block functionality. If somebody blocks you, You cannot block them. meaning they can block you, And then still see your comments and stuff

Replace function in editors is not working in Classic mode, all generations just timeout (using v4.5+ and v5, don't know about other models). Hello, I found a really annoying bug. When I use replacement feature, Suno creates two sections as always but they disappear in few minutes. I can't listen to them or do anything with them. The worst is that it takes my credits!

It also seems to be connected to gradually disappering effects (reverbs) on percussion instruments. We've have tickets in for this and we haven't even had an acknlogement that they were received. This started around February in v5 and it's still present. It's worse in some styles of music than in others, but it does make most tracks unusabe for anything. This problem did not exists before February. It's easily spotted in the narrowing, smeared waveform at the end of the track. We have been wrestling with this and the only near-workaround we have come up with is to use MIDI to replace the drums and the bass... That's better, but it's not a real 100% fix. What a mess...

Bug: v5.5 render was missing style text in song details, unable to set style, when song it was covering had empty style prompt/0% style slider. I repeated the render w/ the v5.0 model and it didn't have the same issue, the cover w/ a style prompt for v5 was able to set the style text box in song details, unlike the v5.5 render w/ the same prompt.

This is started at the end of January. The problem is not only with reverb effects - a problem is in collapsed stereo field. Most instruments sounds monophonic - either centered or somewhat panned, but there is no feeling of the air (room) anymore, so the sound scene is dead. Other significant issue is the lack of clarity at high frequencies - they are very noisy. All sibilants, hi hats, bright synths having significant shimmering tails. Female breathy vocals sounds especially bad and metallic. I only use Suno to create some "analogue music" of the past century, where rich sound and arrangements is expected, and this is where significant drop of sound fidelity is noticeable. I also noticed, that situation is getting worse. I mean, all those problems started to occur in February, but outputs of mid-February have better sound fidelity compared to current sound, so things are worsened.

It's hard to say what is causing this, but I think there is zero chance that this situation will improve anytime soon. Most people are don't care about high fidelity, and impact of low quality on modern commercial music is not very significant. Besides, competitor platforms are even worse, so Suno don't care.

So, I have two versions:

1. sound decoding was "optimized" (simplified to reduce server load). This means diffusion transformer doing less inference steps than before, and is using simplest sampler/scheduler. Also, decreased number of inference steps means higher error accumulation during generation, that's why sound degradation towards end of the song is more noticeable

2. sound decoding was changed to be compatible with upcoming v5.5, so there were some compromises made and v5 quality was degraded as a result. Actually, v5.5 was brought at the end of January (almost same time when quality issues started to appear). During whole February v5.5 outputs were randomly popping out with some low probability instead of v5. Those were worst outputs ever.

I have rather pricy planar magnetic headphones and a preamp setup. I've been hounding Suno about the fidelity of the generations for years. The low-end has gotten a little cleaner, less muddy, but the current problem is that the transients are getting screwed as runtime goes on. At one point in v4.5+ there was an issue where I'd get the stereo signal out of phase and it was basically making ghost percussion 1/32nd off beat. I haven't seen that specific artifact happen in v5 or v5.5, but v5.5 is definitely worse at the whole noise creeping in artifact. Somewhat can be mitigated by remastering the track, but then you're just throwing credits away hoping that it'll clean up eventually.

Personally I don't think they're turning a sound quality dial up or down over the lifespan of the model, I think what's happening is that when the model first comes out it sounds different from the previous one so your ears need time to adjust to it. I know for example when I've gone back to v4.5+ generations that I've been shocked at how dull and dark they sound, but then when I listen to them for a while and go back to v5.5 some generations are too harsh, even the ones I've tamed the sibilance down on. v5 also had this problem but it was much more consistent from beginning to end, whereas now with v5.5 it definitely gets worse at the end of the song. I can only imagine they're doing some kind of reinforcement training on the models that tries to keep them structured, so that the rhythms and melodies are consistent, and somewhere it got overtrained on this harsh white noise.

If the guy doing all the testing of each progress stage on the model had headphones with no highs or he's a basshead, he might've accidentally overbrightened the audio, but that still wouldn't explain why songs creep towards more static, so that's why I have to think it's the model aggressively trying to correct itself back to the original structure of the song. It'd also explain why lyrics loop and ambient songs have a tendency to acquire a beat nobody prompted for. It's trying to fall back to a rhythm.

I wonder if they did training on making music loopable if it would unintentionally help non-looping music maintain a similar color from beginning to end.

I am using Suno Premium. I have tried v5.5 and I am finding that it is unusable because it is not sticking to the lyric melody and chords of the uploaded audio (first verse is usually ok and then it goes off and produces what sounds like a completely different song tune-wise). I have songs which generated fine on v5 but if I try to generate them again on 5.5 I get the weird behaviour described above. I can see on the 'Studio-Feedback' thread that many other users are experiencing this odd behaviour as well. Moving the source audio slider has no effect - it still won't stick to the tune of the uploaded audio. (I have tried between 20% and 100% and no setting in between has any impact). I am keen to use some of the new features on 5.5 (particularly my own uploaded voice) but it is just not working well enough for me to use it. I really hope that you can get this issue fixed soon!

Why does the autostyle button pick BPMs it knows Suno won't even bother listening to? It'll decide on a whim to pick 197 BPM and then the resulting song is barely half that. And now, if you don't pick a BPM there's a 50% chance the song slows down as it goes. Why can we lock BPM but not just... generate the song that way to begin with?

Unfortunately this is NOTABUG.

The documentation says you should have exclusive rights to the material you submit. Public domain material is non-exclusive by nature, and probably shouldn't be used at all based on the terminology in the TOS and pop ups you agree to before using certain features.

Now some public domain works might pass the moderation check while others do not, because if there is a protected sound recording, it can get flagged. For example, "Jingle Bells" is in the public domain- the lyrics and composition are not protected. However, certain arrangements like the Frank Sinatra version are unique, and that sound recording is still protected despite the original content being PD. As such, this could flag moderation to avoid outputting anything that could resemble the protected work.

I assume you're just a moderator and you're only informing us 'why', so I'm not complaining to you. But c'mon — public domain means material that is available to all people. That's why it's called 'public'. Everyone should be able to freely use public domain lyrics.
It seems absurd that someone cannot make a song using 'Jingle Bells' or any other classic song written in the 1800s that is in the public domain. At first glance, it feels ridiculous. Why? Nobody can legitimately complain or make a copyright claim. Why artificially limit people? It just doesn't make any sense.
It's like someone trademarking the word 'tire' and then forcing all car owners to pay a fee every time they use the word. Or like bad actors on YouTube who falsely claim ownership over videos from the early 20th century that are clearly in the public domain, just to abuse the system.
Public domain is public, period. It's not 'a little bit public'. Just like someone can't be 'a little bit pregnant' — it's either true or false.

That seems like it's because there's a band called "winds" and that annotated data is in their training set, so they can't let people use the word "winds" in the style as it might cause a recall of that particular (infringing) training data. If the data wasn't in the training set, mentioning that wouldn't mean anything to the model

and presumably wouldn't generate anything infringing (as there'd be no specific reference for it to pull)

Another possible(?) bug I encountered twice now while going from a gen -> Studio -> export, usually to trim the ends off of otherwise fine gens that had the 7:59 bug: Sometimes they export without touching anything, but then sometimes they export with a bunch of junk added into the lyrics area. It doesn't change the song, but it isn't there when I export and then if I come back 5-10 minutes later it's full of instructions I never added.

Right now my only vocal bug is that instrumental tracks with no lyrics in the lyrics page, never had any lyrics, nothing in the prompt - are still getting nonsense vocal utterances sometimes. It seems to mostly happen when I'm trying to cover a track from older Suno versions to do a more extensive remix than just a remaster. I don't know if it's tied to the weirdness slider like back when this happened on older models, but I know that with V5.5 so far the weirdness slider is way too strong. If I go anywhere over about 25% it just completely screws any structure I had going in a remix chain. I ended up making a whole song out of the nonsense because it was funny.

Anyone else encountering this? I have been having problems today when using Cover on any file, 8/10 times it will render a song within 7-8 minutes long, no matter how short the song was that is using the cover feature.

The song's "ending" can be perceived much earlier, but instead of it ending, the tempo gradually slows down where an ending feels it should take place, and then it renders many more minutes of poor quality additions.

Always in the 7-8min range.

Yeah that's happened to me a lot. The inspiration version seems to work fine more often, but covers are messed up right now. It seems less likely to do the glitch if you keep weirdness very low and style influence lowish, but obviously that's not very helpful when you're trying to make music sound the way you want. I've seen other people report the bug so it's pretty widespread.

I sent an email to Suno and they used an Ai to answer my email. I get the same response after, here is the email:
As noted earlier, missing songs and sections after generation are often linked to temporary system resource issues. These can cause content to disappear or not load as expected. Steps like refreshing or switching songs may help, but aren't always guaranteed to restore missing parts.

• Quick Replace and editing features won't recover vanished sections. Instead, try extending a song or previewing alternate versions for stability, but full recovery is limited by system conditions.

• For vocal enhancement, use the Reuse Prompt feature (triple-dot menu in your library) to create new versions with updated lyrics or style. Direct enhancement of a weak initial vocal (especially at the start) isn't adjustable beyond these options currently. The system can't isolate or pro-tool a recorded voice in detail, but it's always evolving.

• Credits display for web users is on the left-side toolbar. If your credits aren't visible there, let me know precisely what you see now, so it can be investigated further.

I haven't logged into the web version for a long time but when I tried recently using the same Google SSO it created a new account and none of my songs are there! I don't understand how this is possible on their side because surely they can't have the same google account linked to two different users?

[BUG] Multitrack download produces corrupted zip file Platform/Browser: Web (Chrome on macOS) Description: Once the download is completed, attempting to ‘unzip’ produces a Error 257 . Steps to Reproduce:
1 Go to Suno Studio
2 Stem split reference audio.
3 Go to Export and select Multitrack.
4 When download complete, navigate (In Finder) to folder where download was put
5 Right mouse/pad click and select Expand Open With menu option and select Archive Utility
6 Immediately the Error 257 pops up.

Bug Report: False Copyright Positive on Public Domain Lyrics
Issue: I am trying to generate a song using the classic Russian poem "Ты меня не любишь, не жалеешь" by Sergei Yesenin (Сергей Есенин). The AI blocks it with a copyright warning.
Why it's a bug: Sergei Yesenin died in 1925. His works have been in the Public Domain for nearly 100 years. This is a false positive by the copyright filter.
Request: Please review and whitelist these lyrics.

The documentation says you should have exclusive rights to the material you submit. Public domain material is non-exclusive by nature, and probably shouldn't be used at all based on the terminology in the TOS and pop ups you agree to before using certain features.

Of course some public domain works might pass the moderation check while others do not, because if there is a protected sound recording, it can get flagged. For example, "Jingle Bells" is in the public domain- the lyrics and composition are not protected. However, certain arrangements like the Frank Sinatra version are unique, and that sound recording is still protected despite the original content being PD. As such, this could flag moderation to avoid outputting anything that could resemble the protected work.

But the technical reality is, Suno most likely didn't bother to gather a huge database of public domain stuff in order to protect... no one.
The reality is most likely that there's a lot of public domain stuff in published songs, from which databases have been built, and Suno's database is carelessly being updated with that.
(+ it'd be technically impossible to gather ALL the public domain text that could be used as lyrics)

Not for 100 years, but only for 30, since 1995 (70 years after his death). But it just means that some artist (artists) made a song (songs) based on this poem, and the Suno copyright system has those songs in their database. Try to change the spelling of some words.

This protection system is virtually useless, because there are a lot of ways to successfully bypass it if you want to generate a track to someone's lyrics or even if you want to use the same music.

They just added lyrics from different published songs into their database. No one bothered to check if a lot of them were in public domain, because it's a huge amount of work.

The voices sound great. mellow and not lifting. That would be fine if i wanted vocals. I don't. V5.5 starting to mumble/mispronounce lyrics like it was doing in V5... Also, when I delete a track, the other track that generated with it disappears also only to randomly re-appear at some point later on. Please go back to showing us how many credits we have left on our create page... having to go to our account to see is inconvenient.

With regard to the credits not showing you can see how many credits via the Profile avatar in the accounts, not a solution of course and I have noticed the credits are not 10 credits per generation anymore. Maybe someone can see how they are worked out now - maybe length of song genned or the model used or if they are a specific number now.

Well I tried the 5.5 model again and it did take 10 credits off. So maybe it was just something with the browser or just me, lol.

yeah I don't understand what's going on today but I only have 7m59 songs as well. Since it seems to be happening to absolutely everyone today, surely its related to something. Like server overload because there's too many people on doing songs at the same time or something. When I do songs during the night like 2-3am, not only is the overall quality much higher but this kind of thing almost never happens.

Yes I have had 7.59 songs where it starts repeating the first verse and it runs to 7.59. they can be edited of course with a crop and a fade out so as not to use any credits up. Also the 5.5 model is very consistent with songs as in if you use the same prompt again with the same lyrics you are not going to get a massive difference. Honestly although the audio quality and the instrumentation quality is better the overall song creation quality has gone down or it may need better prompting and/or lyrics with more info for instrumentation as it does seem to follow that better. But on the downside a lot of the gens are very samey. I think maybe they have had to strip back on artists they use in the newer models for obvious reasons.

Just did a few tests because I was curious if one of the reasons they hid our credits was to do something fishy like this but how many credits did they take to generate your songs if not 10?

From my tests right now, it's again pointing to intense server lag and massive desync because it's not taking my credits at all when I generate a song. But if I wait for them to do done, close Suno entirely and then open it again to check my credits, a ton was deducted.

So everybody's brought up the 7:59 bug where songs will seemingly restart from the beginning. What I've been encountering sometimes while doing shoegaze tracks and other intentionally hazy generations with lyrics is that sometimes the song has trouble actually starting at all in v5.5
The singing will start but it's mumbled and gibberish, and it keeps restarting the first few lines. Then it discards the hazy sound and comes back much clearer to sing the later parts.

The 7:59 thing is really bad today, as mentioned by others too. Also at times I have 2 generations, one is the 7:59 and the other is fine, actually really good. As mentioned before also, that gibberish and mumbling I found to be an issue also. Hope it will get fixed. I call it a day for now as it has used up too much of my credits already, thinking it was me.
