This one is tagged 1970s, funk, disco, synth..." Obviously this should be optional, but when you're exploring creators and tracks it would be kinda helpful.

Please allow Pro/Premier users the ability to spend credits (or for free) generate a 15-30 second preview of a non-public song they own from their Pro Active subscription. The preview of song will then display on their public profile for others to sample.

idk if i post here, but what do you think about trying to launch Suno on a platform (or launching your own platform)? I think this would be very useful for several things, my biggest example would be the regional price (the basic plan is $10, in my country this is R$61.80 + taxes because the government here charges 60% tax on any international purchase, including subscriptions, and I know that there are countries where this is more expensive). Anyway, I'm not begging, it's just an idea to attract more people in underdeveloped countries. Okay. I just opened suno and noticed ... WHY is the list of songs now reversed in my create tab? ... i was happy about the fact, that the list was everytime ordered, that the newest everytime appeared at the bottom. Also, that the player plays the "next" newest track after ending a song. NOW ... i have to manually click the new song one by one in order to have them played in the correct order.

I wish, i can get a option to let the sorting in the create-section choosen by me. That the newest works are now at the TOP just ruins my flow of creating music, because it getting back in my history everytime a song ended playing ... thats so annoying now ...

Please add a ‘Fade Out option’ at the end of created songs, even for those using the free version in the song editor. Sometimes trying to type in [End Current Song] at the end of all lyrics does absolutely nothing, and songs cut off right in middle of playing.’

Fade Out - slowly silences the song reducing the volume to give an unfinished song a finishing touch.

Please do this in your next update. It is really troublesome for new creators.

Give me back the old sorting when you create songs.

You generate songs, the first song is on the bottom. Now you click it because it's the first generated. Then it would jump to the next song in the list that wasn't even part of that batch. So you got to click manually the song above. And even if you wait for all 10 songs and then you click the top one, then you generate new ones and now you're in the middle of the playlist. It's just an absolute mess.
The system to have the songs top down and adding the newest song at the bottom was way better. It seems like someone made a quick change not having any thought on usability

It would be nice to have some sort of interface blocks that you could drop into the lyrics section! It could act as a guideline for the AI to use. A block where you can tweak settings, maybe tell it to do a thing, or change voices, singing styles, use a persona... A modular block of sorts. Like a meta tag in an interface that the AI needs to recognize before moving on down the lyrics. It could be a box with a drop down menu that let's you choose what you want it to do. This could for example solve the issue where the AI doesn't know if the singer should be male or female or if there's more than one singer or what instruments you want the instrumental intro to have. It also opens up for a whole world of customizing and control.

Love the update Suno team, let me start with that. My only gripe at this point with the new editor is that the "big shiny button" is both the generate replacement and apply replacement button situationaly. Because of the psychology of "big shiny button" I've found myself clicking on the button when it's in "apply" mode when really i meant "generate new replacement".

Fortunately you beasts implemented session state and section tracking so you can pop back into editor and the sections you already generated will remain in the rightside window, but its still a minor thing I noticed. I think the apply button should be separate from and not close to the generate button, or maybe add a "are you sure" catch popup. Either way, thank you for continuing to deliver.

It seems, now when you make song public at Suno, no one can use the same lyrics to create song. So far that is the best you can expect if you make song public on Suno. If you want to share song elsewhere, make YouTube video and then you can decide what you want to show to the public.

Question is why would you like to hide lyrics? If one needs it, he would be able to get it from the audio in some way. Maybe you want to hide how you created songs?

Gripes with the new 'Create' eco-system.

• Takes more resources than a lot of full fledged audio/video software I run, to run a website now.
• I do not find putting every single option, tool or other interactive button in a new submenu. Like versions, persona, upload etc. useful, if anything it's more annoying for an avid user.
• The animated boxes to fill in, while nice, do not work to make it easier. It lags the entire workflow by 0.5 seconds and it addss up if you're an avid user. Pair this with the inability to use simple arrow keys to rewind/skip. I do not see what the reason is for adding a minor graphical feature that seems to hog more resources than necessary while basic functionality that has been suggested for about a year still isn't there.
• Within the new (older) 'Replace/crop/cover' eco-system, and you use it for extends, you cannot chain it together by then extending from part 2, it appears to force you to go to whole or go back to library to find part 2.
• For new users, the optional box should be opened, the models/upload/persona being hidden in a sub-menu will make them near-indiscoverable
• While I appreciate the audio signature with regular extends, it's far too small to actually be useful. Instead perhaps repurpose the normal player. Also extend (haven't touched it since this change) in the replace ecosystem seems to limit it to 5 seconds from the start, where as regular is limited to 1 second. (I still want 00:00 extends however)

I probably have more things as/if I use it, it's genuinely unbearable to use atm.

While the "Add caption" is a nice addition, it breaks totally my workflow. Now the "style" section appears trimmed and I need to open the song in a different screen to see fully the "style". Since I use the format "style + name" to download the songs, it makes what it was a streamlined process into a much more slow (and error-prone) process.

My suggestion, keep the "Add caption" feature, but place it under the "Edit -> Song Details", where it should be.

It's an interesting feature, but I don't think it's going to be used so frequently to deserve a much-need space in the UI.

Hi. Not sure if it is the correct place to request help. I created a song. I wrote my own lyrics in hindi language. I love the melody that was generated. Only challenge is that it has mispronounced the some hindi lyrics in the beginning of the song. I spent 500 credits in regenerating that part. It creates a new melody (music) which doesn't fit well with the original song. I ask it to regenerate only 10 seconds, it regenerates 30 seconds at times. In the only case where melody wasn't that bad, it just skipped pronouncing last 4 seconds of lyrics.

A feature where it can simply retain the melody and just repronounce the lyrics would be amazing. If there are other ways to acheive what I am trying to do, it would be super helpful.

Idea: shuffle function. Realizing it costs the same to generate two songs at 4 minutes max as it does to extend for 2 minutes max? That's up to 8 brand new minutes for the same price as up to 4 revised or similar sounding minutes. Idea: extends provide 4 outputs since capped at 2 minutes each output. (I have noticed I get lucky, if extending an upload it will finish it off up to 4 minutes total adding the upload). Especially when there are creators using up 500 credits on one song, in my head I see that as like 250 potentially awesome brand new songs if prompted adequately. I understand that ai models typically are fueled by a reward token, possibly the credits are the reward token.. so maybe having Suno believe that when extending audio, it must produce double the output options, since there's an established time limit of 2 minutes each extended output it would be understanding that it has to do half the effort at the same reward. Revision idea: if cost per click is 10 credits no matter what is generating, adjusting output quantity variables that increases them to double for extensions, covers and remasters. I don't think that's too greedy. Remasters costing the same as a generation can feel like there's no value in it. I still love you and I'm not whining. But if anyone agrees give it a ⏫

So the highlight is not what is trending by the users, the trending lists are pretty much hidden. If you look at the curated genre playlist, you see bot accounts, with just one song, and most of the same people over there. It is clearly intentional

It feels strange. The site used to feel alive—you could see trending songs, the number of comments on each track, and all of that sparked curiosity. But now, it’s like watching a tree full of blossoms slowly wither and die. The excitement will gradually fade, replaced by boredom.

Before, every music creator had a chance to gain recognition through their recent work. But now, the value of that effort has been significantly diminished. When you check the trending page, you don’t see anything except an endless list of songs. Maybe it’s meant to create equality, but in the long run, it’s not a good move—nothing stands out, and those tiny thumbnails don’t help at all. It’s turned into just another generic feed, something that barely deserves to be called "trending."

This is by far the most baffling change I’ve seen since using Suno. And in the end, a tree without water and nutrients will die. Right now, I feel like a growing tree that just got its trunk cut off, leaving nothing but a stump. This approach is cutting off opportunities for creators who could have continued to grow with the support of the old UI, which truly helped them. With this interface, Suno will no longer grow.

I checked the top playlists, and it’s really strange. I recognize some users, but for the most part, it’s just as our friend mentioned—there are suspicious accounts scattered throughout. Many of them have only a few songs yet are being pushed in an unreasonable way.

I do enjoy exploring music from lesser-known artists, but the direction you’ve taken here is honestly terrible. Why did you place such large playlist images at the top? I can tell you right now—it’s pointless. No one is clicking on them. Please reduce the size of those playlist banners or remove them entirely, as they don’t reflect the true quality of the music that actually deserves recognition based on real popularity.

I strongly recommend that Suno bring back more space for trending content and other sections that have been pushed aside—or better yet, revert to the previous UI that truly respected the users. This move was a major mistake. Right now, people in other servers are criticizing this decision heavily. If this change were actually beneficial, no one would be complaining this much. Are you really trying to follow in Ubisoft’s footsteps?

Some friends' works made it to the trending list, but they’re part of a forgotten trend—there’s no new engagement after making it because the interface is deliberately designed to hide them. It’s even worse than Spotify in this regard. The difference is that artists on Spotify have an external listener base, while on Suno, users originally supported and pushed each other’s work to be recognized. But Suno has cut that part out.

As a result, being on the trending list now means almost nothing. I’ve noticed that my friends’ songs that made it there barely gain any traction. It’s really frustrating.

That said, Suno won’t die because it still provides what we need—high-quality music generation. But our generation of users will gradually disappear because of how they treat us. I can guarantee that. There is no respect, neither as customers nor as friends. At least, I’m already one person leaving.

The lack of flexibility causes a lack of engagement because I can’t emphasize what I want. Let me put my business hat on a second and guide my words directly to Suno, since others may strongly disagree. I spend a ton of TIME and MONEY on Suno because I play Suno like I play a video game. It’s fun and engaging, not just to make music but to also promote my songs, discover other cool songs. I like and follow so I can be liked and followed so that when I drop a new song I get the sweet sweet reward of likes and plays. It’s my dopamine. Maybe other users don’t like users like me, but people like me are the moneymakers for Suno. The “keep the lights on” kind of user. The “competitor buffer” and “loyalty customer”. Maybe that’s not your business model, maybe you don’t want people like me trying to game the system, and that’s why you changed it, whatever, that’s your prerogative. I don't disagree. My suggestion and feedback is a flexible user design not far from what exists today as a way to persuade Suno to make small changes that help creators and to dissuade them from making changes that hurt creators. Getting the RIGHT creator content to the RIGHT consumers is super important too, so I totally agree with what you saying. BUT IMO it's secondary to getting the creators to create anything at all. Having trending front and center drives creators to make content which helps Suno's bottom line and until a better system is in place, like what you suggest, they shouldn't be killing their golden goose. (I'm exaggerating a bit, to be fair trending still exists and they do have curated content geared toward the user, I'm just saying the UX change was not the best choice)

I don't know their statistics and my circle is certainly not representative of it, but everyone around me who started using and paying for suno do not share their stuff publicly but just amongst friends or own communities to carry the word further, i wonder if the main audience are the listeners of the featured songs on the page or 'just casual enjoyers' who have fun writing music
Not saying that they shouldn't cater to their most popular creators but not sure how important that section is for them to get people to pay for the service... i do like the featured section, as in i think community features are always good, just wanting to provide this viewpoint as well, I know of no one in my friend circle who ever looked at the homepage and they all started paying and creating music

but to get back to the layout, i do not think the homepage does currently a good job at providing what people might want to listen to, it feels overcrowded, too cluttered with images which to me personally hold the least importance when listening to a song, like i don't care whats on any image and that takes most of the space

I was going to say that the "create" button change was a good choice too assuming it was pinned to the top of each page, but I see that it's not. It scrolls away. Also I don't know what they mean by this:

I may have complained too much right after they made adjustments, and now it seems to have become more flexible. I can't say for sure how it will turn out, but I sincerely hope that these menus will be beneficial for everyone.

What I truly want is for recommended or trending songs to be displayed more equally. Of course, they are likely working on an appropriate scheduling system. I’m not sure what method would satisfy everyone, but one idea that comes to mind is counting how many times a song appears on the front page. Once it reaches a set number of displays, the system could rotate in other hidden songs to take its place.

This would help creators feel more satisfied with what they see, rather than having a fixed set of five songs continuously rotating. Some songs aren’t in English—if, for example, Japanese songs are trending, they might not gain much engagement if they’re displayed when most Asian listeners are asleep.

I may have been complaining too much, and I apologize for that. I'm just waiting to see how this new system will be improved and how well it will perform.

Trending 4 me is/was the game.
One part is promotion and networking the other is the music it self.
There is 0 wrong with it and it’s actually as in the ”industry”
It’s/was definitely not perfect but it engaged ppl in making songs. It pushed me to become better technical at promting lyrics etc etc.. and that’s stuff I paid for.., and I am a ”power user” that spend money on this. To learn and have fun.

I am quite good at other programs like fl studio (and a lot of other ai tools) but suno had that lite something that other platforms lack… and that’s competition driven purely by the user base.. again not flawless…

Just a question how and why should ”suno artists” bring in followers from the outside,.. to build a fan base?

I am going to have my first real life event in a few months where l am going to play my music as a dj at a club… I was going to promote suno because I love it above other tools… but now l just won’t l am to going push that crowd only towards other platforms (social networks) and threat suno as a tool..

For Suno as a business model, catering towards users like Electrician makes logical sense. He's driven and he pays. Suno has three types of users. "Competitive Paying users, Competitive non-paying users and casual users who likes to just chill with it as a hobby. For you is designed for the third grouping. You can generally drift between the second and third based on your mood, but their entire business model is based on those paying them actual money. Because what the "for you" page does in essence is promote people who are not competively grinding out songs, but rather just want unknown lesser known artists to be seen, for an ego boost. It can give the illusion of more music given more music in circulation so to speak. These people are not even dependent on the existence of the community, as in they are doing so casually that they don't need to community involvement. (Which is an odd push considering suno is building a community). If you want to listen to more songs as you make your own, it boosts the casual users into using suno like a bit of a radio. Which is good, people enjoying other people's stuff.

But it is designed to boost variety to new users joining. Then narrows it down to a niche based on user input. I'm sure the data gathered from this is useful too. The problem with the way it's now, is that nothing sells new users to click on a playlist, because by reducing it to a playlist, it's not something you casually browse, you clicked an arrow and the slider pushes more. It was easy and effortless. Now it's something you need to be sold on to click. TLDR, the new design is just bad marketing.

There are different needs, but in my view, simply adding the ability to scroll through both "Trending" and "For You" should meet everyone's expectations. With the smaller image sizes, it shouldn't cause any loading delays. Maybe they could randomize 10-15 songs per category on the first page instead of just 5, which feels too few. It’s a big change from before when you could scroll through the entire board to find songs that interested you.

This is exactly it.. the ”for me” is pointless and enjoying… it does not give out quality songs it’s absolutely swamped with unfinished chatt gtp songs with the same rymmes coming back ( flicker, neon, chain, shadow etc etc ) in most songs…

I strongly believe that having a part of the community and home page to be highly competitive is a good thing and should be inquiring, however it’s also should be clear that here you need to step upp the game..(again not saying the trend system is not perfect by any means).
One problem with it is the positivity in al cases whatever is put forward… that needs to go,.. l am giving you a hand to help if you want. I want suno to succeed because I do love it.

I agree that the homepage is not done well but I'm mainly criticizing the content that is displayed to me as it is not personalised currently; trending wouldn't help that but an algorithm showing me suggestions based on what I already liked (like YouTube) and an extra tab maybe for the trending stuff which never will be of interest to me but would be dedicated to highly frequented music. YouTube has a whole "trending" tab for that but I never get it on my landing page because it's not interesting to me, there I get suggestions of things that could be interesting to me

Yo, Is this a layout request? When navigating to "Library", I would like a tab called "Workspaces". When I select "Workspaces" I am given a tiled grid with each workspace, displayed as a playlist. If that makes, sense? I have to go to "Library" OR "Workspaces" in order to find a song I've been working on or worked on. If it wasn't put into a playlist and I haven't used that workspace in a while, I have to wade through the songs made afterwards. Surely we could use "Library" for both.

Which prompt do you use for your vocals? I agree that it would be awesome to have a prompt field for vocals (How would duets work?). It's not exactly a song by the staff. Yes, some of them are staff, and they’ve included her song in the monthly hot tracks. However, in the global trends, there are songs with fewer likes and fewer listens. Some of these songs even belong to my friends. In a way, it’s a good thing that Suno is trying to create equality. Sometimes, good songs just don’t get the chance to be released to the public when users aren’t interacting enough with others. And of course, it’s not fair to everyone.

The point I want to make to Suno is that you’re breaking down the system and standards that were built before.

From now on, songs that global trend won’t be based on likes and plays as it used to be, but rather, they’ll be selected from creators they like during that time. And this will eliminate the true competition to select the right songs. Songs with a lot of likes won’t be able to enter global trends, and that's the truth.

I’m not concerned that complaining too much will cause my songs to be removed from the recommended tracks in various categories. They’ll eventually fade over time anyway if you don’t update your songs regularly. To be honest, I’m not enjoying releasing new songs right now. I’ll wait for a more standardized management process to return. Otherwise, I’m happy to keep my new songs in my personal playlist rather than release them during this time when Suno’s system is poisoning the user experience.

What I want to say is that you should create new categories. If you want to promote staff songs, you should create a catalog specifically for them. Or, if they want to participate, they should compete fairly with other users. Right now, you’re behaving like admins who are letting bots cheat other players. And if you want to push good songs that haven't had a chance, you should feature them in the recommended tracks or create a category like Suno Recommend or whatever. Don’t insert them into the monthly hot tracks or global trends as you're doing now.

I know that the staff here have no power to answer questions or make decisions. You’re just online collecting data. You can’t even talk to or promise users anything because you have no final authority in those matters. But I want to leave this message for the owners, the ones with the power to make the decisive decisions to fix what’s happening right now and bring it back to the way it should be. I still stand by my statement that the new UI design is awful, and what you're doing now is making everything worse. Thank you for listening. I’m not expecting a response, but I hope this message reaches the people who actually have the power to manage and think it over carefully.

Actually, it's not 'Hot in a month' but should be renamed 'Hot by Admin' because they choose songs they want without referencing actual popularity. The selected songs focus on selling products by showcasing their AI capabilities. Previously, they would rotate songs regularly, while sometimes keeping certain songs all month. Everything depends on the preference of whoever manages this section.

I have 3 IDs that create songs in different styles, and I've had songs featured there before. It could get the most likes and comments compared to other songs in that section, but they removed them after 2-3 days and chose to keep certain songs there for the entire month.

Sometimes they promote songs with only a few dozen likes and less than a hundred plays, turning them into songs with hundreds of likes by unreasonably featuring them in that spot. With greater visibility than other songs, these eventually achieve what they want. That's what they've been doing all along.

Of course, that's their right because they own the system. They can do whatever they want, and feedback from other users doesn't affect their decisions because it's really 'Hot by Admin.'

I'm not attacking them, just explaining what it was or might still be. But there's been a positive trend in the last 2-3 days where they've introduced new songs, mostly from actual users, not as many from staff or people they personally prefer as before.

However, there was a time when the system was better. There was a period when songs in 'Hot in a month' would rotate on the homepage, allowing visitors to choose songs they were genuinely interested in and giving other interesting songs a chance to be featured. That period existed before the variety rate decreased until last month when it became frozen, and it seemed they weren't updating songs in that area based on their true popularity.

I'm not here to attack anything today because now they're trying to get many things back on a better track after the terrible changes that happened recently. But of course, I still hope for better changes. I'm not sure if it's because they're focusing on improving their song AI for its new version, or because they're neglecting overall user care, but I really hope the management of different sections will improve from what it is now.

In the old trending which i still feel that playlist is the true pulse of the suno community without interfenece from "the staff" or "to be fair" we've seen enguagment fall to pre-3.4 levels of efforts because of all this without a true "leaderboard" many who pushed very hard just now lack motivation to do so anymore and there is a general feeling of being lost everywhere. Kinda funny how that works and sad at the same time some of those people really pushed the model in new directions even if it really was all just random luck in the first place didn't matter because that music did have "something special" behind it. a lot of them barely publish on suno anymore and go directly to youtube now keeping their tracks private from the audience here. just like a dj rotating the dance floor the new layout has effectively rotated the things that probably shouldn't be even remotely considered as best output.

It's their right to do that because this is a platform they created. There are still many people who enjoy it and new people will continue to come because we can't deny the efficiency of AI that can fulfill music creation needs almost perfectly. In fact, they don't even care about our opinions on how we feel about it. I still want to create music but from now on I probably won't publish it. They can still select work from many users to increase their product sales. It's disappointing to see low-quality songs mixed with genuinely popular ones, and we can't do anything except speak up occasionally, and over time that voice will quiet down on its own when there's no response in the way it should be.

Now I've talked about their structure and how they manage it completely, and there's no use repeating it because anyway they don't care to listen to user opinions. I have to thank their recent actions because finally now I can refocus on my own work after my attention was with Suno to the point that sometimes I even dreamed about it. Maybe their poor management now is actually beneficial for many people. It's like when we were heavily addicted to a game and then one day the admin released bots to cheat other players, and that made the desire to play this game disappear.

To be fair, they do listen to our opinions. Most of the features added recently were all things users asked for. There was also complains about trending making the homepage look bad or unprofessional and too easy to game, and so we are where we are now. Now they even changed the algorithm for trending to try and track real engagement.

Pins came out of a survey they ran on discord, users requested a way to showcase songs and personalize their profile page more.

I agree with you that I preferred when Hot In Month rotated songs, and completely changed every week.

The playlists are now dominant at the top and thoses picked by curators who are trying to be fair and recently try to include more languages too, and smaller users.

But what I pointed out were just two main topics: the Hot of the Month songs and the trend display format that has become more difficult to use. Local language songs have less chance to enter these charts unless you're a user with many followers. I give them justice by appreciating what you mentioned, and point to where they manage it inappropriately, creating discomfort for some users. Not everyone, of course. The UI takes up a lot of space on desktop now. I appreciate the ability to resize the style input box, but I'm not liking the way the lyrics box constantly defaults. It used to be that I could toggle instrumental and have that persist as long as I didn't navigate away. It's annoying to have the extra click every step of the way, but with the larger UI, it's also taking up a lot of real estate every time it defaults to lyrics/non-instrumental.

I could identify a list of who they are, but never mind. The current trend system is now handled correctly in the case of Lucilius. He appears in trends because of the likes on his own songs. It comes from the good relationships he has built with other users.

What I'm saying is that this chart should select songs based on the likes they fairly earn. Songs that enter here should have their time to accumulate likes and stay there for about 2 days. It's not about song quality but about selecting songs based on actual likes received.

Because just a few days ago, newly created songs that earned more likes than those in trends didn't appear in this chart. That's the main issue. They ignored certain songs and selected songs with just a few likes to be there.

We're talking about trending songs. For example, K-pop songs from famous labels. Do you think those artists' songs are truly good? In terms of song quality, they're not necessarily good enough to attract us. But they have a fan base supporting their sales, along with good stories that encourage fans to support their work. It's not strange that songs from artists with large fan support sell better than artists from small labels who, despite good quality, won't make enough sales to appear on charts if they're not truly exceptional.

So songs in global trends should primarily reference like counts, which is correct. But the abnormality a few days ago was that they included songs they personally wanted there. And AI has never recommended this kind of music to me, because I like all my friends' songs, no matter what kind of music they create. I try to listen to increase their play count and like all their new songs. So AI won't be able to know what kind of songs I actually want.

But if they want to truly improve song recommendations for users, they should create a page where we can set what kind of songs we want. Or even better, create a system where we can specify the genre we want from sample songs we select ourselves and have AI find that kind of music for us. If they could do this, I would start using their song recommendations. But right now, what AI presents isn't close to what I want at all.

Personally, I think the front page is way too cluttered, I’d strip it down. Ditch the infinite scroll of all the different genre queries. Replace it with one clean post block and a “Show More” button. Above that, add dropdown filters: one for type (song, persona, playlist), one for genre (with main genres), one for sort (trending, listens, date), plus a checkbox to show posts from people you follow, and a search bar. Keep the image cards, load 25+ at a time depending on layout. Scrap the featured playlists and “Hot in April” section, feels rigged, like someone at the top picks who gets seen. The title section is missing, where you can enter the title before the song is created.

This is very helpful and facilitates the work flow, especially if you have many songs created. Now it is totally cumbersome and eats up a lot of time. This is a bad improvement,....

Hello. Suno could not catch the rhythm of my lyrics, therefore I uploaded a file of music containing my vocal. It helped, but after that I discovered that all the songs, derived from it with Cover and subsequent edition procedures, cannot be published, notwithstanding that the songs have almost nothing common with the uploaded mp3. People in bugs-browser chat explained me that it's official policy of Suno. But this restriction does not look logical, moreover Suno really recommends uploading the vocal in its user manuals. I propose to review this policy and allow publishing such songs, at least those ones which no longer contain the initial vocal.

Just to mention my routine. Pretty simple. First I write to force the meter, so, often a 4 line, 8 syllable, end-rhyming scheme is out for most songs.

Varied lines, varied rhyme schemes, work best.

Suno looks for rhyming words and will force a meter based more on rhyming words than lines in a verse.

Given that, I hopefully write a song that can't be too off from what I'm wishing to hear, anyway. So I don't even need to write to a melody, but can if I wish. And so I then often must Create 20 or 30 generations to let it cycle through different metering and schemes. But most time it finally hits.

There needs to be a drop off in trending and searches for types/genres etc... like when Suno began. Because the ONLY songs showing up when I do a search are the ones created when NO one knew what they were doing and everyone liked everything because ...New... Now all I get in trending are parodies on coffee, capybaras, cat..... and when I search for genres, I ask for Pop or rock or Hip hop and ALL I get, for pages are the songs that are titled Pop with the style of Pop and the ONLY lyric is the word POP over and over and over... I find that the software is not user-friendly for Chinese Mandarin. Even when I specify "Mandarin" in the style tags, the generated songs still have numerous mispronounced words. I have to painstakingly correct the pronunciation bit by bit. I suspect the software confuses Mandarin with Cantonese pronunciation. To produce a perfect song, I often need to make over a hundred revisions just to fix the pronunciation of each word in the lyrics. There’s no better workaround—adding pinyin annotations to the lyrics doesn’t help. This not only wastes my subscription credits and money but also significantly drains my creative energy and time. I urge your company to propose solutions promptly, such as allowing pinyin or pronunciation annotations for each Chinese character in the lyrics, providing a certain number of free revisions per song, or enabling users to mark and batch-correct mispronounced words in the lyrics during post-generation editing. These improvements would be a game-changer for penetrating the Chinese market and would greatly attract more Chinese creators to your platform.
Secondly, in the song editing process, it’s inconvenient to add interludes between sections; I can only edit by referencing existing parts. Additionally, there’s no way to freely combine materials from different songs. I hope you can enable songs created from the same material to be linked, allowing mutual use of shared elements for editing—for example, using the intro of Song B in Song A.
Largely due to the first issue, I’ve only managed to create fewer than 10 satisfactory songs, yet I’ve wasted nearly 5,000 credits editing mispronounced parts in my works. This cost is excessive. I hope my suggestions are helpful, and I look forward to seeing SUNO upgraded soon.

Suno recently updated the icon that shows whether one of our songs has been made public or not.
Before there was a “right-left” on-off slider, now a “Publish-Published” button that makes it harder to tell which songs have been published.
Too similar to each other (Publish-ed).

In my opinion, this could be remedied by making it so that when we publish a song, the wording in addition to becoming “Published” is colored by... light green? light blue? a light color that, however, immediately gives the idea of which songs are published versus which are not.
Or, more simply, remove the world symbol from “Publish” and leave it in “Published,” so as to better differentiate the two options.

Unfortunately, the way generative AI works is like chiseling a sculpture from a block of marble. SUNO takes your instructions figures out the placement of everything at once then removes as much needed until a shape is formed. It has not really recognized yet what is vocals or instruments, drums or audience applause. It cant "combine" two separate entities without reassessment and getting a new block out to chisel away on. Then, once that happens you can't split that into "original stems" again.

Stems is a poor nomenclature for what's really filtering out frequencies recognized as voices and creating a new track. So it's not going to catch everything within or without those frequencies.

This is a concept for an evolving style prompt over time. The blocks contain prompt fragments that can be saved to a library and reused, libraries can be shared. Blocks can be repeated multiple time on the track, they can be dragged, extended and multiple layers are possible. When generating, the prompt is built based on which blocks are active at the time, with ordering from top to bottom. The limitation the maximum number of characters that model support, which is the total of all the vertical blocks added up at any given time.

The prompt then evolves over time, as if you manually extended the song at each block change, but now it can be generated all at once with better context handing and fewer wasted gens (and cpu, and storage).

Exact time setting doesn't have to be part of this suggestion, it could be relative time and stretch/contract depending in the final generation time. (Or be in bars)

Yes, 100%, I make my cover art in 1:1 always because it is what I use in my mp3 tags and what I use in my Youtube uploads. I just prefer it all around, and even when I tried to use 9:16 art it doesn't look right then either. I have an idea for , say, version 6.5

I think it's possible to take one or two genres. Let's say House, chillpop, trance, hiphop. And offer a novelty tool of just clicking the box and with any old output song, create a "remix", if I may, of a dance version of your song.

This is what remixing was all about in the 90s. I'm doing this now with my songs manually and its a fun few minutes to get back a "Remix" track with snippets of the original blending throughout.

Suno takes your song, uses grammar structure, key words, etc and truncates down to just a few top lines and tags, recreates your melody , adds in arpegios and riffs, vocal expressions, and adds to a genre choice of , say, only 5 different styles. And you get what you get. Any output you offer from a 30 second jingle to a 10 minute opera or rock epic, ends up a 4-7 minute chill dance tune to impress your friends. You can augment after the fact, but can't add lyrics, change genres -- nothing during the process. Just click and go.

Sure, you could do this with other genres and create novel deathmetal pieces, for sure, they are certainly possible, but gotta limit it somewhere. But in real life, there not many remixes of heavymetal into a dance tune. I'm suggesting limit it to what's already familiar from old school remixing.

Please consider adding a settings (cog) icon to customize which notifications users receive.
For example, I’d really appreciate the option to turn off notifications like “User liked your comment.” That one feels a bit excessive to me.

Favorite Artist Notifications
Allow users to mark up to 10 favorite artists and get notified every time they release a new public song.
This would make it easier to stay updated on creators we really care about.
Of course, also continue to occasionally show new releases from other users you follow, just like it works now.

Under this model, Listener Accounts would feature a simplified, consumption-focused interface with access to:

Music discovery tools (search by genre, mood, style, etc.)
Curated and community-driven playlists
A feed showcasing newly released tracks by verified creators
These accounts would not include access to studio or creation tools but could be upgraded to Creator Accounts at any time.

This separation could enhance the user experience on both ends — reducing interface complexity for non-creators and improving scalability and engagement within the listener community. It also opens opportunities for monetization, analytics, and social features targeted specifically at listeners.

I’d love to suggest a feature: could you consider adding basic audio settings after a song is generated? For example, being able to adjust vocal and instrumental volumes separately, or having access to simple tools like EQ, compression, or a de-esser to soften strong “S” sounds.

Sometimes, after generation, the mix isn't well balanced — vocals might be too loud or too harsh — and having just a bit of control would make the result much cleaner and more usable.

It's probably way too frivolous, but maybe you could add a third lyric/comment tab for the original prompt (which can be kept private via a toggle switch on Publish), and attempt to automatically strip out prompt tags to fill the lyric tab?

Perhaps all generations are created only with the prompt tab, and like with the video generation button, you can generate a lyric tab prior to publishing.

Hi, I'm having an issue uploading audio files on mobile (Chrome browser).
Every time I try to upload an MP3 file — whether it's a new one or an older file I used successfully before — the upload option becomes unresponsive. The file appears grayed out or untouchable, and I can't select it.

I've tested multiple MP3s, all under 60 seconds, and none of them work.
This issue only happens on mobile.

The Remox window pops in when we click for a Remaster. Its not needed or used at that moment. Just click Remaster and stay in the Library.

I much preferred it when the playing song continued when you switched between Library/Create/Lyric Page/. (desktop PC/Chrome) --- edit - Ahh, It was a problem with the Gener8 browser (a Chrome hybrid that may have blocked a cookie). Resolved by no longer using Gener8.

I'd like to see improvements to navigating through your generated songs. Abit like windows file explorer. we need a similar system for Persona's. Having produced for 15~ish years, the key to good workflow is file/folder management haha. I think a similar system should be introduced for the library section. I made like atleast 15k songs before workplaces were a thing, and if i want to go back to my earlier work i'd have to endlessly click ''next page'' for hundreds of pages probably by now. Give us the option to sort on date/genre/alphabet, version (v3.5, v4, v4.5 etc) and possibly covers/remixes etc. And while we're at that, add the same kinds of sorting options to playlists and workspaces. This would GREATLY improve navigating through your generated songs.

sometimes i wish there was a way to somehow revert back to the legacy replace section layout from before the february update. cause since then, it became totaly unusable to me. i'm blind and using a screen reader and the layout how it was was nice. needed a little help to fidle with the mouse to go on the wave form at the begining, but then i could simply adjust the timestamps and then the corresponding lyrics would automaticaly appear in the lyrics box, and you could actually listen to a preview of your selection in the player. the generated clips were likable and dislikable, and more of that when you disliked them they were removed from the current window, which was in my opinion better for organisation. also, the generations, even if pretty messy sometimes, were still relevent to the song, no quality change, no weird skip etc.

what i mean is, the current replace section, not to mension the complete new edit ui, is completely and totaly unaccessible for blind people with screen readers. no lyrics bxes, no clear timestamps, no keyboard accessibility at all. and the replace section itself is so, so hazardous. whywhy is my lyric box full? why aren't the buttons labellized correctly with clear words so i know what they do? why the setting don't seem to apply at all, and why can't i just dislike/remove the bad generations anymore?

i know i might be a very highly minority around here, but it's still important. all users shoud feel welcomed on this amazing platform, i had so much fun creating my songs over the year i spent on this website. please, suno team, try to also think of accessibility when you program your next steps.

Really interesting to hear your perspective as a blind user. I feel like Suno is just adding more and more bloat to the UI making it harder and less fun to use in general. I like the idea of more features and control, but in reality the UX is becoming a mess. The biggest improvement Suno can make to its product is fix audio quality degradation - songs almost always seem to fall off a cliff between the first and second chorus of tracks.

It took me ages earlier today just to crop 5 seconds off the end of a song. Legacy editor throw an error 3 times in a row. Managed to do it using the new editor, but it wasn't intuitive. I selected "Crop" but in the editor you need to 'Create new song from selected section' or something. I'm not against editing features - in fact the crop and fade out options has saved me hundreds/thousands of credits trying to finish songs! - but it all feels a bit like throwing as much as the wall and seeing what sticks.

Moving items between workspace is pretty tedious at the moment. If user has a lot of workspace, then finding the desired workspace leads to frustration. Here are few of the things that could improve the flow:

1. Multi-transfer: Instead of moving items one by one, i think it would be great if there is a functionality which allows to select all files that need to be move to another workspace, and then move at once.
2. Integrate search: When user clicks on "Move to workspace", it would be great to have a search functionality there so that the clutter is reduced.
3. Workspace filter: If user has moved a filter to workspace before, it should be on top of the list next time user click on Move to workspace. For simplicity, this can even be based on session or cookie.

Workspace as a whole is difficult to manage. I try to use <z:Workspace_name> and <c:workspace_name> to distinguish the ones which I am currently working vs which I am done with. But lack of filters and sorting option really does not help.

Adding functionalities like Projects and giving ability to archive similar to what Chatgpt provides would be a great step forward. It should be easy to implement and would bring a huge benefit when organizing workspace and genres.

Believe me i notice the differences and i appreciate you for seeing me, paying attention, and taking action as many times as i know you have.

1. We have too many windows on one screen.
   -When in editor mode, the left most pane collapses into buttons, those are sleek and clean, maybe we could keep them that way across the site?

• Dragging window panes should consume the window next to it, if we're going to maintain the multiple windows then allow them to overlap each other, and clicking one of the buttons on the left will reset them back to default maybe just to keep it consistent.
  I love that theres the ability to slide window scaling left and right. thats awesome as it is. And i appreciate that you've made it so the editor has a clean functionality.

2. Editor audio dragging should be able to overlap previous audio rather than unveiling.
3. Splitting stems now costs 10 no matter what, no big deal, but when in the editor mode, after splitting, why did it split it twice and now i have two vocals and two instrumentals of the same song. An "undo" would be phenomenal, as in to undo a remaster (only once) or undo a stem split. Also only one time.
   I use Suno for most of my waking life, and have extensively enjoyed my use. So thank you for everything you do to implement every little detail we ask, You're the best and we love you. I feel like nobody tells you that. You are enough ❤️

Click on the small arrow next to my workspace on the left, there you can switch to other workspaces.
You can delete multiple files by selecting them with shift or strg + leftclick and then rightclick move to trash.

Its subjective. But its where its at, at this moment. Create something, stick in a workspace to edit and massage, all song edits automatically go in that same workspace while you edit. When done move finished song to your Playlist and remove the workspace, if preferred. Library is just a catch all archive of everything.

Devs: I have never clicked "upload audio" from the Library page to upload. I always anchor myself into the Create page and then click upload. Newbies wouldn't know where it uploads to until it finishes, so it cant help a newbie much either.. Do others often use the upload button in Library? I'd rather remove it there and leave more room for the search bar, which at the moment in certain larger formats , is just a small bubble and can't see any text while typing, unless I turn my phone landscape view.

The main Workspace and Library are exactly the same thing, but workspace has filters and is searchable, such as "rap" or "soul". So , until then, you might manipulate your titles and song comments so they show up in your workspace searches.

Hardcore is a genre which e.g. the band "Hatebreed" does. Suno stylebox understands this genre and makes such songs. Thankfully its not blocked there. I have no idea why you blocked it for the new profile info, but it makes zero sense and I really, really hope this stays at least promptable in style box. I have 103 personas..(not a flex) when I wanna see which ones are public, I click each one individually and when I go back to the personas, it's at the top of the page. May I please have a toggle bubble on or off within the persona image? Also with that same concept in mind, all songs could have a like thumb within the picture image. Right? Its teeny tiny way over there but hey, it's there and that matters. So if I'm not mistaken, if the song itself Is not published, but the persona is, as an outsider looking in, they can still use the persona? I honestly havent thought of a way to test that out. One thing I noticed, is when listening to songs and not choosing, letting them just play, I have to open the songs page itself to go and like it. I don't think that's too much of a pain, but if it was on the bar that is on the bottom of the page, showing what's playing, would that remove the space for the shuffle and or the repeat one? I love the shuffle function, it's so cool. And I use the repeat one button regularly. I think I've asked for too much by hoping for a like button down there too. Maybe, it could be like overlapping the song image, where if u click the image it likes it rather than takes u to the song page. The core editing tools—like trimming or replacing segments—depend on visual sliders that aren’t accessible via keyboard or screen reader. Playback controls are also inaccessible, preventing blind users from navigating or reviewing their songs. These barriers make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for screen reader users to participate meaningfully in music editing on the platform. Several members of the blind and visually impaired community have reported these issues to Suno but have received no response. Accessibility should be considered a core feature, not an afterthought. Clear labeling, keyboard operability, and accessible slider components would significantly improve usability. Suno has great potential as an inclusive creative tool, but these limitations currently exclude blind users. I would be happy to assist with accessibility testing or provide further input if the team is open to feedback.

I see the workspace as the manipulation of files, so filters are fine.

But I see Library as an archive of everything. So id prefer the defaults in Library to be different than workspace. Default should be to see all outputs.

Now when I do a stem separation or an edit and check Library to make sure it worked, habitually I expect NOT to also have to flip switches in filters to make those outputs appear.

I did a 2 stem separation where it zapped away back to home page, so I checked Library to find no stems.

Assuming it glitched, I clicked Get Stems again. There was no comment to "click to see stems" in the 2-stem box, so I assumed no stemming was performed during the glitch. So I clicked to get 2 more stems.

Thinking I should check filter to show all files, yes, both stem executions showed in the Library. If Library is set to default to show all outputs, (and Library doesnt lag worse for it) this would be more convenient and make sense.

We dont go to Public Library and have to ask to see the hidden books.

Suggestions/Wish List

1. When using the editor, three filters are automatically checked that hide the sections created when we return to the workspace. I had several "blank" pages in my work space, blank because the files were hidden. Please do NOT have this filters automatically applied. It's a hassle to uncheck them every single time in order to delete unused/unwanted files. The system should remember our own settings.

2. While the newest version of the editor is nice, when replacing lyrics, it sometimes uses a voice that's nothing like the one used in the rest of the song. It's a waste of credits to keep regenerating to get the right vocal sound.

3. Give us an option to permanently empty the trash with one click. It's a waste of our time and Suno server space to have "trash" just sitting there because going through the pages and pages of unwanted files is too tedious to bother with. There must be tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of these trashed files across all users.

4. I'm not a fan of always having other users songs play when the last song in my workspace has finished. The option to turn this "feature" on or off as desired would be great.

5. I have a lot of songs that could be great (to me) that were made during the shimmer phase. I've tried remastering them, using them as a persona, making a cover of them, but nothing seems to eradicate the shimmer—it comes through in any and every effort to clear out the shimmer and salvage the song. I really, really wish you would develop a "de-shimmer" feature.

I love the app, incorporating these suggestions would make it even better according to me. Thanks!

If you make songs on the Free plan with Suno and then later upgrade to Pro, you STILL can’t use those original songs for commercial purposes — even if you remaster them as a Pro user. 😡

And guess what?
There’s NO upgrade option and NO warning telling you this before you create a song on the Free plan.

⚠️ New users get NO popup that says:

“Songs made on the Free plan cannot be used commercially — even if you upgrade later.”

That’s a huge issue for creators who are investing in your platform. We need transparency and options.

Optional ideas. Update the terms of service and do away with the Free Plan and only offer free trials. Otherwise all of these Free Plans doing is creating a huge amount of storage for Suno to pay and service these Free accounts. If you want to keep the Free Plan and if they’re worried still about abuse then charge $9.99 to upgrade a song to commercial usage from the Free Plan and advertise $9.99 Pro Plan with all new generated music as commercial usage. That would satisfy me and other users.

1. It would be great to have an option to show only private songs.

2. It’d also be helpful if, in addition to the "personas" filter, we could filter by a specific persona.

3. And it would be awesome to have a way to filter for cover songs we’ve created based on tracks from other artists.

4. And finally, having a filter to separate songs with full commercial rights (created in paid mode) from those without full rights (created in free mode and/or remixes of other artists) would be really useful.

I have a feature request regarding playlists/albums organization:

Currently, when I manually sort the track order in a playlist, the order only stays temporary. After refreshing the page or sharing the link, the custom order resets, and others cannot always see the sequence as I curated it. For music releases and storytelling albums, it would be super helpful if we could permanently save and share a custom tracklist order that stays consistent for anyone opening the playlist link.

Is it possible to add this as a feature in the future?

It should just ask short for confirmation, with the information that the vocal gender and persona might interfere with each other.

Do the right thing and make album covers on the webface when viewing songs, meld to the 1:1 ratio of people use squares, instead of forcing them to zoom it out, which messes up the videos, cos then it clips them. really, it's not difficult, as not just as someone who uses it, i hate going to someone's song to see the album art they made, in only 2/3s looks unprofessional, insofar as the service goes. Even for mobiles, that weird arsed aspect is just... an odd choice. similarly on mobile web, it is at the top of the screen, the variability in album art display is... the oddest choice.

1. Add preferences to what you want to be shown on here. At present there are so many genres on here that people are not interested in so can we have more genres added to this and then have the users to pick and choose how many or how few genres they actually want on this.

2. Limit the ammount of tracks per artist can be featured on the homepage. This will allow for more discoverability for other suno users rather than them being drown out by content from more established users in the communities.

3. Users to allocate tracks for homepage submission so the users will have to pick and choose their best tracks that would be able to feature within a quota limit. Increasing the Lyrics Prompt Box to 5000 and the Style Prompt Box to 1000 characters was a great improvement however, both of these should be at least double to provide enough space for all the declarations tags, meta tags, and style tags that could/would be used by advanced prompters. Also, publishing a tag list of the Meta Tags used during the training of Suno's ML/LLM would be most helpful to understand what does and doesn't Suno know/understand.

I get it, but I'm pretty sure the issue is that it is less about greed and more about AI is costly. Very costly, not just compute per generation (and higher param models inherently require more compute / vram offset] but the Training it takes also must be accounted for along side the training on the new models they're working on. Free isn't free, it just doesn't cost the US. It costs Suno to give even 3.5 uses each day, freely. and the cost of 4.5 v. 3.5 very likely is a good bit more compute cost... cos, it's not just about the model size, but also context windows of prompts (the amount you can use for lyric length, style prompt etc) and and total song length also. One person, it isn't really such a big deal, but hundreds of thousands becomes an exponentional increase for each model step given for free up and up,

The fact that I have to post this and ask for this for the it must be 100 times now add a freaking play button vertical or horizontal orientation on Safari and Google Chrome is incompatible with the most basic button of all the buttons possible it’s a play button. Why in the hell do you have it designed to not play any audio till after you get the exact timing you would like chopped or replaced without even hearing it in the interface you’re trying to edit it at you have to go outside write it on a piece of paper in order to edit it in order to listen to your edit. Just add a f n play button to the screen that people can see and use.

Suggestion: A system that benefits both SUNO and its users.

Problem: Many users struggle to get their songs heard. After putting in significant effort, lack of exposure can feel discouraging.

Solution: Similar to the existing “earn credits” tool, allow users to spend credits to promote songs. Other users could then earn credits by listening to and rating these promoted tracks.

Example: A user spends 1,000 credits to promote a song. SUNO guarantees it will be played in full by 50 users, each receiving 5–10 credits for listening and rating (thumbs-up or thumbs-down).

Benefits:

For users: A fair way to promote songs without begging for exposure in comments.

For SUNO: An additional credit sink that could also improve the model by collecting listener feedback.

(Keep in mind, this is just a rough concept. There would likely be certain concerns/flaws to work out)

Using desktop site via Chrome on an Android tablet, in landscape view everything works (except the new editor, but that's just due to unbearable lag). But the legacy editor won't scroll, so the Play button and anything else at the bottom are inaccessible
Portrait view technically works but is awkward as hell because the UI isn't designed for a tall, narrow screen and some parts aren't horizontally scrollable
Surely it should be possible to make a page scrollable both vertically and horizontally, regardless of which way I hold my device?

I also think that Suno is good for making music, but it doesn't matter anyway in terms of reach... Either way, you have to target other platforms and take care of it yourself. But maybe I'm completely wrong about that, but this is how I see it: if some people like it, that's a bonus, but nothing more.

The new features in version 5 are excellent. Now, it would be very useful to add another functionality. When I create a song, then another version of the same song, and then yet another… there are often parts I really like in different versions — for example, verse 1 from one version and verse 2 from another.

At the moment, I’m forced to go into my DAW to cut and combine the different parts I like, and then return to SUNO to refine them.

Could you consider adding, in the editor that separates the parts of a song (and where stems can be made), the ability to place two songs created in SUNO one under the other? That way, I could copy a part of one song and drag & drop or paste it into the other. For example, I could take the intro and verse 2 from song 1, which I like, and insert them into song 2, which I also like — replacing its intro and verse 1.

I remain at your disposal to discuss this new feature if I haven’t expressed my needs clearly enough.

Something like a vintage scroll like the stuff in advanced options. Similarly to "weirdness" and "style influence" we should have something that impacts the sound, making it sound more vintage.

Every time I put a song specifying the year, the vinyl popping and such, I get a "modernized" version of it. Like it was influenced by someone in the 80s but was made in the 2020's.

Older versions took the style/prompt influence on older songs well, however, v5 tends to make it modernized.

I just want something vintage with better audio.

Hi. Can we please get a "Shuffle" on Suno Library files?

I would love to play my songs while streaming. But I made them in genre batches. Techno for example, I made 10 of them. I have other genres in there. I want to randomly shuffle them during playback.
