When I signed up for my Suno account on the web, I used my Gmail account. I installed the Suno iOS app yesterday, but I don't see a way to log in with it. When I click Restore, it prompts me for my iOS App Store password. However, I never signed up with my iOS account for Suno. Any workaround?

“Restore” is if you purchased a subscription through the App Store and it’s not showing up on the app

Can I ask you a question even if it’s not iOS related? With the website I have a bunch of clips of a song I like that I’m feeding lyrics, but I’m having trouble stitching them together using Suno so I can order the parts / verses choruses etc in order. It feels like I’m painting myself into a corner of if I get 90% of something right and then need to change a previous lyric once I’ve extended from one branch.

I could download them all and manually stitch the audio files but that seems cumbersome and not as “correct”. Any tips on this?

On the last clip, let's say it's Clip 5, Suno will stick the clips for you with "Get Whole Song". On the website this is in the "..." menu. Then you will have a new clip labelled "Full Song" in your library. No credit cost.

If you didn't know about this feature, it may be that your clips include some extra repeated verses because you hadn't listened to them put together end to end. Just in case you hadn't noticed, when you Extend From a clip, you can choose any time you want, not just the end of the clip. In fact it's usually best not to use the end of the clip in my experience.

Thank you. Yes I know about the whole song option and about the time. But let’s say I start with clip A and extend from it and get clip B which uses the same melody but my verse 2 lyrics while A has verse 1. Then I extend from B and get C which I’ve perfected the choruses from A.

I’m not sure how to go back to A get the exact same cadence and melody but with my Verse 1 lyrics without extending from it or B. So I end up painting myself in a corner where the branches have different parts I like that I want to combine or tweak a lyric from earlier but keep the extended stuff it got perfect. Does this make sense at all?

I am having some trouble understanding exactly what you are trying to do. But in general Yyu can't rearrange Suno clips like that, unfortunately. (I've requested the feature too.) But some general concepts:

Workflow 1 On C, before extending it to create D, first do "Get Whole Song" on C. Then you have a "Full Song" that is made up of A+B+C. Then try extending that ABC clip to make clip D. If you are using the same lyrics you used in A, if it's not too far in the audio past, then Suno can understand and match the melody from Clip A.

If you want to do the opposite of this (if you want to forget about Clip A, basically), unfortunately you can't actually go back in time and remove Clip A from the song, that you do need to do in a manual audio editor. But fingers crossed, Suno is supposedly working on some features that would let you remove in the future. You would not believe how many times I have bugged them about that myself.

Workflow 2 You can Upload the first minute of your 'perfect' song (starting from the good chorus in C) and generating the rest of the song from there. If the song has vocals this will prevent it from being public though. And using manual audio editors you can do more things as long as the audio overlaps so you can stitch it together yourself.

If I downloaded a song and then there is a way to upload it as a new session and continue from there?

I don’t care about public sharing I just want to create and download. But yes, sometimes I want to use the same vocal style and have it seem like the same person

Yeah, on the create page there is an Upload button. Up to 60s only though. That creates a Clip 1 that you can then extend from like a normal song.

You can really get weird with Upload, like mix two songs and then Extend, and Suno will blend them, but that's not for a bugs discussion #💬┃general-chat message

I'm not that guy but I was just talking with someone who may have had the same problem in mobile Chrome (Android). He could type in the lyrics text input and press the generate lyrics button, but after it generated he could no longer type in the field, or otherwise edit it at all.

Firefox handles things VERY differently than almost every other browser, so knowing if the issue is isolated to a specific browser or type of phone is very helpful.

I just noticed that Trending on the app vs the website is very different. It looks like the app is set to "Weekly" (without an option to change it) whereas the website defaults to "Now" (and is customizable for timeframe displayed). The iOS app is really awful in how everything is designed -- the sliding up, down, etc. is over-use of the "sheets" or whatever they are called in iOS programming design. I really dislike it

Trying to move anything to trash has become a MAJOR PAIN-IN-THE-ASS on iOS. Any time you use the “move to trash” function, it automatically goes to one of the hyperlinked stylistic tags in the clip you were trashing. Constantly being taken out of the library and into the general style tag page. This really sucks when you were on like page 10 of your library, and it automatically navigates you away, and you’re back on page one Repeat over and over. 😡😡😡

Also, very hard to copy style prompts now because of the same issue, it will automatically take you randomly to the hyperlinked stylistic tags and not allow you to select the text to copy and paste. Generally, the UI has sucked since last redesign update of the page. Very crowded and limited space on the page, and trying to select anything triggers one of those goddamn hyperlinks.

I should say this is using the website on iOS, not the app.

It’s become so frustrating to use and so unresponsive that I just unsubbed.

Best way is to even report on the homepage (not just here on discord but it still good you do tell.) a hint I can give you. Even I noticed they had problem with this.

But if you use 👍 and 👎 it helps Suno to slowly find -what- you look for. So only generate 4 songs, listen to em and check. If you feel it's bad and it gives weird. You hit the 3 dots, and send a report there so they check. It gives them more help to find.

I even suggest you check not only here on discord (some are wonderful and helpful too) so check in #🗣️┃chill-chat or ask em how to get an idea for help.

and check as well some lyric on Suno, how do they build and command [well spoken, male] command, ect ect. there's even suno's own wiki about that. It will help some there

and I am sorry you lost credits, I know myself, even I have lost. However, you should try to be easy on how to spend too. since I got upgraded, I noticed myself I went ham. But I did for a reason, and set plans too. Like example making a lofi track, perhaps ideas for next tracks. Make sure to have playlists (not public yet) but a fun project for you to work and later share it ^^

There is a bug where if you delete even one of the same songs that was added to the album multiple times, the song will be completely deleted. It disappears without even being in the trash list.

I paid several times to make these songs...

Admin, how do I recover my lost songs??? All three songs are too good to throw away...

Check the trash? It should still be in there.

It can be confusing. You have to remember to remove from playlist, not delete. That one bit me a few times as well.

If not in the trash at all then yeah, definitely a bug.

I can't finish the song, even though I indicate to end with 'and,' the software keeps going for another 50 seconds to over a minute, when I want a maximum of 15 seconds. What command should I give the software so it finishes the song without dragging it forever? When I tested this, I moved a track from my library to a playlist, then moved to trash from the playlist. My recently trashed song was the last one, on the last page of the trash- not visible on the first page. I'll make a note for our devs that it should be first so it's the easiest to recall in the case of a mistake

using this screenshot as a reference, it looks like the music player is cut off from the bottom of the image. Sometimes, you'll find a track is actually behind the player. If you try again looking for the track again, refresh your browser to remove the player from view, then go to the last page. to see your most recently deleted tracks with nothing potentially in the way

I just went in the browser to edit the titles and they are all showing correctly there...

Ok correction they also show incorrectly on my artist page but if I go to edit details the song title is filled in. I know why this happened ultimately which is that I used to just make a song and allow the title to be the first line of the song.

I fixed this was obvious solution just tedious. I went through each song and edited description and hit submit. If the song title listed was already applied it wouldn’t let me submit. Otherwise it rewrote the original title. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again….

• Cant swipe down to refresh notifications, Often have to close the app multiple times to see the new notifications (though I'll get all the push notifications)

• the longer the app is open the more bugs I'll run into. I have this annoying one:

BUG: When you look at playlists on the app, some playlists have a black header which makes the black text that has the playlist name unreadable. Black should be excluded as a playlist color or the text should be made white. They are all a little hard to read.

JFC, has anyone at Sino actually tried using the webpage on an iPad? It is virtually impossible to copy a style prompt from another song without triggering the freaking hyperlink for each and every word … and that takes you to another page entirely. I just tried 20 times to do this unsuccessfully, there’s NO way to click on the beginning or end of the style prompt text to select without triggering a hyperlink. And there’s that whole column on the right of similar things that I don’t even need that is making the interface window smaller than necessary
Then there’s the drop-down menus where you can select something like “reuse prompt”, and instead, it takes you to the tab below that, like “history”. Then there’s the basic problem of everything in your library or create feed, when you open the dropdown menu, you only get “add to playlist” or “put in trash”, no other options, unless you reload the page again.
I could go on and on, but the UI is just a total POS now, and it didn’t used to be that way. Do people even test this stuff before you put it out there?

Ich bitte um Überprüfung und Rückerstattung meiner Credits, da diese Probleme die Nutzung der App erheblich einschränken. Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung!

Zudem habe ich bemerkt, dass es in einigen Songs vorkommt, dass die KI die Beschreibung, die ich eingegeben habe, als Songtext verwendet und diese in den Vocals einsingt. Zum Beispiel wurden Begriffe wie ‘A-Dur’, ‘kein Frauengesang’ oder ähnliche Details der Beschreibung ins Lied integriert, was natürlich nicht beabsichtigt war. By default all generations come in pairs --eg click create once and two songs are created. This isn't a bug by any means, but instead a "get two for the price of one" kind of thing.

Regarding the errors you are bumping into, a lot of times prompt technique has a lot to do with why song/generation issues occur. If you'd like to provide an instance (suno link to a song) where you are bumping into something that seems to go wrong in the #📚┃suno-school channel, please ping me and we can work together to see what can be improved. I’m trying to think if I’ve ever used an interface so buggy that it makes me yell out loud at it out of frustration. Well, congratulations, you have managed to accomplish exactly that.
I started using Suno in April of last year on a tablet, and it was a breeze to use. Now it is just such a complete and total mess, I can’t believe you’re not ashamed to release it in the state! Worst is when you’re trying to delete the freaking trash, which you have to select one by one, and as you were selecting the 20th file on the page, it triggers the auto hyperlink text, which takes you to a different page entirely, and then you have to go back to the start of your trash again, which may be a completely different page from where u were working. Repeat times like about 50! Or how about using Create to do something even once, and then the create menu can’t be used because it won’t appear in the drop-down menus anymore unless you refresh the entire page. Again, not very convenient when you’re working on something that’s in like page 10 of your library.. I could go on and on, but I’m on an iPad Pro, running OS 17, which isn’t exactly a rare thing to be used, and it’s just buggy AF.. Trying to copy your style prompt from a previously rendered prompt is virtually impossible. Now, it just keeps activating those freaking hyperlink texts underneath the drag-down menu. You completely broke it when you added that stupid bar on the right in the redesign, and I’m sorry, but I’m out until the company starts to have some indication that users are not having a great time on the platform. And don’t get started about the increasing amounts of shimmer/feedback noise that turn up in every track now. Get your sh*t together Suno! Seriously.

Whenever I use it, my first creations of songs are always 3m 20s meaning having to use extend because it’s 40 seconds short of the full 4M 00s allowed.

I’ve noticed a major issue recently with the Instrumental setting in Custom Music Creation.

Previously, Instrumental songs were up to 4 minutes long with no vocals at all. Now, songs are much shorter and unexpectedly include wordless vocal sounds. I use the same prompts as before, but the output quality has dropped significantly.

This is critical for me, as I can no longer create the music style I need.

There’s a problem with my iPhone. When I tried Suno app and tried sign in with google, the button is pressed and there’s a loading animation but after that nothing happens. What is the difference between setting characters and setting prompt words? Or how do we get this character to generate songs inside other lyrics? Is there a custodian or a technician?

This isn't really an iOS app bug, but more of an iOS workflow bug. I usually record song ideas using iOS Voice Memos and then share to the files app that creates an m4a file. I cannot upload m4a files using a browser on iOS, so instead I use the iOS app which will upload the tracks...it also burns credits on a couple tracks that are typically trash. Then I switch over to the browser where I can generate covers.

The bug is that today, I just noticed that a lot of my uploaded tracks cannot be played. I think this might be that they were put into the system as m4a files. What is odd is that I can download the tracks as mp3s just fine.

Not sure if it is just a ios/app thing but more often than not it automatically generates new songs from the prompt given (deducting from the credits) without me requesting for it.

songs uploaded from m4a voice memos do not playback. The mp3 that gets downloaded from Suno for the upload is janky too. FFMPEG would not convert it to wav. Adobe Audition wouldn't open the mp3. VLC player would open the mp3 and convert it to wav. Something is going on with m4a files in Suno.

I would also like to be able to upload m4a files directly to Suno again using the browser on my iPhone. I was able to do it in Nov. '24, but something changed in December where I was no longer able to upload directly. Now the only way to upload m4a is through the iOS app and I have to generate a couple songs there. Then I can work with the upload as normal.

Also, if you could edit it that’s a possibility, but you have lack the brain capacity as a developer to put a play button in the audio portion where you would like to edit making it almost impossible to accurately edit and use the tool for the intended purpose

What was the edit option called that used to appear after the second song of a render when scrolling up? Giving the option to tweak the style and lyric prompts to re-render the songs. This was extremely useful in iterative crafting. And I was really close to finishing a song I’d been working on for for over a week, (still working on it) before that feature disappeared.

Before, I think it would auto-credit users 2500 on the refresh date but lock the account from use until pay was posted [day of deposited- not day of debit ]. That confused a few users to think payment had completed when it was still in transfer. Now i think it allows a grace period that you can still use the account (past renew date) and either use the credits balance still in subscription or, at minimum, provide 50 a day. OK. Glad you're current then.

Hello! I believe Suno just released a new feature for iOS? I don’t believe it’s playing well with my account. The dropdown options on the songs are now completely unresponsive. Pressing the buttons respond similarly to touching text. I’ve tried restarting the phone, logging out then back in and am using Chrome as the browser. I’ve sent an email to support and am awaiting a response. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just to double check, is this through Chrome?
For now, a current workaround is using the desktop context menu by Holding down on the song entry for a few seconds.
It will open where you had pressed, though only for entries in your Workspace or Library (like in the picture here #📚┃suno-school message)

Alternatively, try using another browser in case it is browser-specific issue. I had no trouble opening it in Opera on Android in mobile mode

I was billed and funds taken from my account (I can share invoice and confirmation if required) however my account is still showing the basic plan and the song I created has vanished. Same issue on iOS

The problem with Suno is the stems when separating the vocals from the instruments.

The separation is poor — I have version 4.5 and it's still just as bad. For professionals, it's completely useless.

Unfortunately, I won’t be renewing the monthly plan because the stems are still terrible. I don’t understand why they don’t generate vocals and instruments on separate channels. The issue is that they generate everything together, so when it comes time to separate, it sounds awful.

If you tell the ai in two different ways the same thing in different places it’s more likely to give what you want. If you are extending try go a second or two either side of what you are doing. If your part 1 has a section tag like [chorus] and your new part has the same then try change the new one to [chorus 2] etc. because when you extend everything in that part is relative to the overall structure.

Do some research on suno ai “song structure tags” in chat GPT or google or Ask chat GPT to structure and format your lyrics for suno v4 for you.
