Just published my first mod. Took a ridiculous amount of time (12+ hours) just because I didn't know what I was doing and had to figure it all out. But very happy it's done now!

It's called "Humvee Enhanced" on the workshop.

Basically me and my friends always found it funny how BTR's were scary (because gunner is inside) and Humvees you always shot the gunner out as soon as it showed up. So I thought I'd make a mod that gave the humvee gunner a shield so maybe it'd be worth using. Still easy to kill the gunner straight-on and open to suggestions if it's still to underpowered or op for one reason or another.

As a bit of an update on my HMAS Canberra LHD, I am still working on it (I took a little bit of a break to work on the helicopter). I decided that to make it a worth while mod I should add the important parts of the interior. It's still a work in progress but eventually I want to get it as close to the real thing as possible. If anyone has any good interior reference of the Canberra, Adelaide, or Juan Carlos it would be greatly appreciated! Either way the Canberra is still on it's way and will hopefully be out before Arma 4. Sure would be nice if there was a way to get people to attach to it like in Dayz.

Just published my "Re-Light" Mod. I turns on every light that was off. Currently everything is indestructible and I will make another mod that fixes that. This mod lights up all of the navigational marker buoys and runway lights as well making night time ops for boats or aircraft easier!

The uh60 mod has just updated to version 1.1.1. This update includes:
Improved vehicle model and textures
Emissive panel lights with switch (see overhead panel)
Minigun should no longer be able to shoot tail section

Something I've been putting together for a few weeks for someone, for their group. Initially started out as a remake of Ghost in Reforger, turned into more standard versions, just finished building/piecing together parts from a few CG Trader purchases, plus some custom made items by me in 3ds and Substance Painter.

So far have put together the uniforms with full skinning, fake short sleeve tattoos (which can be customised and retextured), multiple helmet layouts (with aesthetic NVG per request), 3 different vest layouts, with and without two different versions of the combat belt, two different colour sets with more options available out of the box (via retextures etc). Probably the hardest part was the skull attaching to the balaclava, but it went ok I feel.

Halfway through the LOD models for all components, then making the custom ammo box and then hopefully by the end of this week, have it in the requesters hands.

Pretty pleased with how it has come along, learning a lot more about the workflow and optimising etc for the engine. All shots are inside the workbench, not yet in-game/workshop.

The HMAS Adelaide is now posed on the workshop! It's going to stay as a static object until linking makes it's way into the game but for the time being you can place it down as a object in GM. I hope everyone enjoys it!
There will be more improvements in the future but for now it should be pretty useable.

Work in progress Chechen Special Forces being put together with some modelling from scratch. 0.5.5 of the 5th Ranger Battalion modpack is now up.
Corrected a few clipping issues in prior gear options
Added new gear and options for the FIA opfor side (please note none of their gear is currently in the Arsenal due to the 5th not wanting it usable by their team as they are just fighting them). They now resemble a more modern force to engage against gear wise, apart from their weapons which are stock Reforger weaponry.

Optimised the beard models a bit, reducing overall poly counts on most/all gear to this point. No LOD models have been included yet. These will be added toward the end of the pack release.

Report any issues found.

There's a lot of really cool weapon mods out on the workshop so a small PSA for our amazing modders, if you'd like to allow my RIS attached lasers and flashlights (and in the future more attachments!) to be usable on your weapon, you can do so very quickly by setting up slots of type "AttachmentShortRIS" on your weapon. You don't need to use my mod as a dependency, it only needs AttachmentsCompatibility (so chances are you already have it for scopes!). The items use the default context to attach and their own context to toggle on or off. For attachments on the sides, you may need to add an Z angle offset of -90 and 90 to make sure the attachment rotates. duckshy These are currently being tested on a m4 block2 I've released on the workshop.

Also I need help deciding which weapon context to use for attaching and detaching the items. Right now I use default but it can be squished inbetween the scope and the mag, so for my weapon I've moved the default context forward (white square on the right of text on first image), but if you guys think it's better to add the actions to the magazine context (so at least they are in one place) I'll switch to this one. The only problem with the magazine detach action is that it is instant, so you may accidentally remove your mag instead of the attachment.

Coming with the next build of the 7RBN modpack. It's coming along, nearly up to adding the weapons and their vehicle. Optimisation pass will go through before that stage though, adding LOD's and condensing the number of required textures overall where possible by optimising some of the UVMaps down.

Version 1.3.0 for the UH-60 is out now! We have been doing a lot of work over the past month, and there's been many things we fixed and improved not mentioned in here because we were too busy. The largest recent changes for this version are of course the M240 option for the door guns, made by @tall dune and the experimental implementation of the Multifunction Color Displays by me. (There is a lot that's still not correct on it, I know, don't badger me about it.) You will still have to turn on the displays using the panel lights action context in the cockpit.

Hello everyone,

We wanted you to know that we have released the first public version of EARS modification that will allow you to interact with the modern radio on an immersive level.

Currently, Enhanced Arma Radio System modification will allow you to operate the AN/PRC 152 radio, but in the near future, we plan to create handheld radios for the rest of the factions available in the game.

While creating this painful but satisfying mod we have learned a lot of things that open up a lot of room for us to show off in terms of "electronic" gadgets. (MORE INFO SOONโ„ข๏ธ)

Progress update: OCP Blouse untucked complete, OCP Pants bloused for boots complete, Brown boots (custom model) complete and new build of IHPS also complete. The belt clipping will be fixed as there will be a completely resized belt build coming on the 10th Mountain part, which will coincide with the plate carrier update and new pack (see below).

These will be a spin off component inside the 7th Ranger pack update, which will drop once the new OCP plate carrier build is done and the new OCP combat pack is done. This update will also contain the sapper back panel and a couple other goodies.

Since I've been messing with modding vehicles I ran into some fun variables.

This led to 2 mods for 1 variable. One mod tweaks existing transmission efficiency so that vehicles are better and can realistically be used in a server. The other one cranks it up & rips the knob off for fun lol.

WIP dialogue system
so i've been toying with the idea of having some sort of narative delivery, i think it would be a nice tool for SP scenarios. Managed to put this together and wanted to get some eyes on it to maybe get some feedback and maybe some ideas to expand it. Legally, definitely - but in practice, "grey areas" do exist. There's things that are prosecuted and things that are accepted even if there isn't a formal permission.
Often, IP holders are comfortable with the existence of content, but don't want to give binding legal permission, as it could come back to haunt them. Obviously that doesn't mean you can just by default assume it's "tolerated", but sometimes it is.
For example, when I once asked a game studio for permission to release something based on their IP, the legal teams response read 100% like a "yes, very cool project - go ahead", but was very careful to formally not even comment on the request itself.

Hey everyone, I'm by no means an experienced map maker but I'm learning the tools on a small map with vanilla assets, the map is not even 50% finished. Aiming is done through the elevation and azimuth HUD for the gunner, I will be exploring more options for aiming solutions.

It would be accurate for the Sea Hawk to be transporting marines, especially from an MEU, as the LHD they are on could have the capability to do so depending on mission set and units stationed aboard her.

@spring ermine The M27โ€™s was the AI base weapon when we were shooting the video and the RHS NVGs sometimes wonโ€™t enable or disable with the buttons, I love how they look and RHS is like the best mod but they have their issues and the Ops-Core helmets nvgs always work so we use them.

Unfortunately not comparable, because Reforgers worbench sucks at downloading for Xbox users and imposes limitations on Xbox players. 50, 60, 70 GB mod lists like the average Arma 3 Milsim server are fine and all on Arma 3, but they're literally impossible on Xbox

do you want to check them? Sure. We can DM and stuff. I see. I had @heady idol look at the luchs. If these are stolen then I would be very dissapointed, but as I am friends with the creator and follow their project for a long time I can tell you that I have seen some of them being created in front of me. Also a note is that only the listed Tanks in the DMs from above are completely selfmade. The Sturmtiger is a self made super structure and the body is from Post Scriptums Tiger I. Hope this helps to clear up confusion.

Did you test in a Dedicated Server? So I loaded one HE round and fired for registration round. Then loaded 1 smoke round of each color and fired at same point. No smoke. Here is what the console log is saying.... but I don't know anymore with so many Wrong GUID/name messages what is good and what is bad.
