What issues?
When i loaded game master it wouldnt let me interact with the world
just got a weird bug where it would only let me "yaw" or whatever in the corner
couldnt use my gun ect

I will need to have a look and see if my workshop has missed a dependency update that may be breaking the mod. Worked OK yesterday for me.
The majority of vehicle mods do not show up in the entity browser perhaps overwriting each other since they do if I disable them one by one
Auf far as I understood it, this is currently the only way to make vehicles to replace the test vehicle @minor dragon as far as I understood it there is no documentation yet to make it a own file

I'll never understand why people spend so much time and effort to add civil props in Arma
Your rifle works fine for me on Xbox. The only thing that doesn’t work from memory is the laser sight but that doesn’t work even on the rifle provided with the laser pointer mod itself, so not tied to your mod.
The flashlight works though!
Some like to play as civilians who also are criminals and in their spare time police while also being drug runners 🏃♀️

There are specific games to do a lot of things that you can also do in Arma, some choose to do them in Arma due to the freedom given to them by well, Arma.

@coarse flame I am not sure exactly why, but anytime I have your laser mod enabled, going up to an AK74 to either equip or pickup, my game and tools both crash to desktop. I just tested it with just your laser mod on, no other mods. Turning off your laser mod stops the crash.

Someone has asked me for permission to use MK18 in some mod pack some time ago, and wrote to him that he could, dont know if he is from his devteam. But that someone said that credits will be added.
Asking because the workshop mod (Karmakut weapons) has my attachments copied (not as dependency) and I dont see credit which would be nice.

To any folk using my M4A1 Block II mod, a hotfix will be dropping shortly, disabling the lasers/flashlight and removing it as a dependency due to a crash around soviet weapons with that mod enabled. I've spoken to the creator of the mod and he has not had time to get into investigating so believe this to be the best course of action at least in the short term.

Are you implementing a proper flight model or is it something that feels good enough? It'd be cool to replicate something like javafoil or xfoil for airfoil simulations
Seeing as BI is creating one themselves I wouldn't go to hard with it. Something that is good enough while the vanilla version is being worked on would be great.
I would agree. But idk how detailed BI goes with their sim models. I'd be curious what was done previously in arma 2/3 and whether they will opt for something more advanced for reforger/arma 4. Also have they mentioned they're working on one yet?
i know arma 3 used rotorlib for helicopters, I don't think thats the same for fixed-wing stuff though
I wouldnt get your hopes up for DC type realism. The game needs to be jump in and play. Something on the lines of easy to learn, hard to master.

A little bird told me they are implementing a custom flight model, even though BI is also working on one.
There are 2 reasons for this:
- They don't want to wait for BI to release it
- They actually help BI by pointing out what is needed in the engine for a perfect integration
"DCS level flight dynamics would be awesome for the people who care about it" which is a very small minority compared the the entire Arma community.
The normal vs advance flight model is the perfect example. What I was more or less trying to say is that there should be just one flight model that is hard for the casual sim gamer to figure out. The casual guys do outnumber the full milsim guys by quite a large margin. So if they could follow Arma 3s approve at two different flight models then that would be best for all parties.
We are using what BI has in the engine. I wasn't at first, but once we got it working, it is at least better from a compatibility and controls perspective.
We were originally working on something in pure script. I actually got it to the point where it was working well, but after we got the actual engine component working, we reconsidered. I have also offered my feedback to BI but I don't think I've told them anything they don't already know.
I also would care to have DCS level flight dynamics but it's just not reasonable to script anything like that. At least not now, that's not where our priorities lie.
Im thinking of trying a potential flow vortex panel method from scratch. What troubles were you running into that made it unreasonable? do you know anything about the internals of the BI model? Im assuming its a helicopter flight model specifically, or do they have fixed wing too?

Main troubles with the engine component are issues with some of the controls (very minor), lack of premade procedural animations for blades, blade blur, or pilot hands. Lack of blade breakage or damage modeling as well. But they have a very good start on a very usuable core component. Just needs better documentation (and script accessibility...)
Haven't looked too much into the plane flight model if there is one. That would be even easier to script than the custom heli one I originally scripted though...
I don't see as much of a reason to do planes vs. helis right now though, considering the main map in reforger only has one main airport. However I am super, super excited for what sort of stuff we can do with planes once we set our minds to it.
Over at #creators_recruiting would be your best bet I guess. Fill out the form and see if anyone replies

Hey, If anyone wishes to make a Large terrain and is willing to show me how the hell to at least launch It I can do the work to create roads, City's, Forests and the likes on the terrain, I am very detail oriented when constructing, Though I am quite shit at typing

The fireworks doesn’t throw light on objects I guess this is why it is not lagging at all
probably, this is exactly the reason I didn't add lights

It is a good idea, but I'm not sure it's worth adding as I think Reforger themselves have something planned already. IIRC looking through the code there's already kind of mentions of this (I think). The waypoint mod was just a quick relief until it's added in the base game ;p

Hello! I just discovered yesterday that your mk18 mod was causing my conflict server to crash when a player holding one is killed. Something about player controller not assigned? After removing your mod, all is well.

For me, it works fine, no crashes. It’s only the mk18 mod coming from karmakut’s weapon’s mod causing audio bugs and crashing issues.

Like the mk18 mod by riverx I think? I’ve noticed a few times now(doesn’t happen a lot) that sometimes the audio for putting a magazine in and pulling back the charging handle isn’t there.
I would comment on the black hawk mod but I think everything that I can think of is covered for now

Whoever made the revive friendly player mod, it seems to take away the “take control” option for npc’s. After I downloaded it and enabled it, it took away that option I explained and when I disabled the mod, the option to “take control” of npc’s came back.

The mk18 mod doesn’t have the option to use the short dot on some of the optics(console)

I’m talking about one of the optics with the red dot on top of it. It’s the default optic for the mk18 rn and some other weapons I’m able to swap attachments

I can too, it’s just that scope, I can’t switch to the red dot. I’m not sure if the creator forgot to add the feature for that specific optic or if it’ll be added at a later date

This is the same problem I've been having too, and to switch between other optics is up on the D-pad for me not left or right.
I can't edit any permission it seems. You can dm me, but make sure you have everything updated , remove and download it again with all dependencies
I'll do it again see if it changes for me as well.
After making 100% I reinstalled your mod and all dependencies, I can confirm that it now works 100%. Also fantastic job 👍👍
