Hi, I am here to ask for any clue that can restore my Pro, which I can’t access for around 2 weeks. I have asked for support on web, email, both replied by a AI bot. I have also ask for support in the support ticket for serval times, the first time I started seems normal, I have provided information that may required to restore, but for whatever reason the ticket was closed. I played a lot with Computer the last weeks and I burned almost 30k credits now. scheduled tasks are the killer feature but also the credit killer for me. going through jira / calender and so on ... to be honest I dont think it works out with computer and the current credit pricing ;(.
I always ask myself: can I do this with a differnent perplexity feature because credits are burned so fast! I dont understand the credit pricing ask 100 times and now one can explain it in detail. So for coding I am back with codex and my 10k MAX credits here.

Hi, i ran into a weird Comet issue today
After restarting my PC, Comet launched like a fresh install (onboarding flow, etc.). My tabs and extensions were still there, but all my Comet settings got reset and i had to sign back into my Perplexity account and redo everything
My issue is that i used to have Google as the default search in the address bar, but now the only option i can pick is Perplexity. In “Manage search engines and site search” i don’t see a way to set Google as default anymore.

Has anyone seen this before or found a way to get Google back as the default search engine in the URL bar?

I’m testing Perplexity for business contact sourcing via API and I’ve hit a consistency issue that looks bigger than prompt tuning.

Scenario
Target business: http://www.murwillumbahcombatclub.com.au/

Relevant page: /about

Use case: identify business owner/operator and return structured JSON

What the browser/Space does
In the browser, Perplexity finds the owners correctly.

What the API does
Using sonar-pro, the API returns no owner found.

Both use the same prompt

The structured output has blank values for:
ownerName
ownerSource
ownerEvidence
It sets ownerConfidence to 0.

Why this looks wrong
The About page explicitly says the business is: “family-owned and operated by locals, Ian McLachlan and wife Gemma”
So this is not a case where the owner is hidden in some obscure external source. The owner signal is right there on the first-party website.

Odd part
The API output includes the About page in pages_searched, but still concludes no owner or proprietor was named on the website.

So it seems the API:
found the page,
looked at the page,
but failed to extract the obvious owner evidence.

What I already tested
Same/similar prompt as used in browser
sonar-pro
higher search context setting
confirmed this is not an n8n parsing issue, because the raw API JSON itself has no owner in it

Practical impact
At the moment, this makes the API less reliable than the browser for structured sourcing and I have to do it manually.

Interested to know whether others have hit the same issue.

Do you install comet on the server and tell computer to run things on it? Or was it just a website or powershell access to like a Microsoft portal or something?

I'm trying to connect the Gamma MCP Server as a custom remote connector in Perplexity. Gamma uses OAuth with Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) and they require me to pre-register my OAuth redirect URIs in their access request form.

Since Perplexity handles DCR dynamically when connecting to remote MCP servers, I don't have a static redirect URI to provide to Gamma.

Could you tell me what redirect URI Perplexity sends during the DCR flow when connecting to a third-party OAuth-protected MCP server? I need to whitelist it on Gamma's side.

I was an Enterprise Pro owner and switched to a personal Pro subscription on March 29th. After that, all my Spaces, their configurations, uploaded files, and chat histories became inaccessible.

I contacted support via email - 4+ days ago about chat recovery, and 2+ days ago about Spaces recovery. I was told the Enterprise team would respond within 2 working days, but I've received no updates and no data has been restored. A follow-up urgent email also got no response.

This is critical - I need this data for work and can't wait any longer.

Your file upload slots free up individually on a rolling basis — each upload becomes available again exactly 7 days after you used it. So if you uploaded 5 files on Monday and 3 more on Wednesday, those 5 would free up the following Monday and the 3 would free up the following Wednesday.
It's not released in chunks or after a fixed 24-hour period — instead, your capacity gradually restores as each individual upload rolls off after 7 days. This means you'll see your available uploads increase continuously over time rather than all at once.

I’m facing an issue with the Airtel 12-month Perplexity Pro offer, and it looks like a backend problem.
🧩 What happened:
I claimed the offer before expiry (Jan 13/14)
During activation, a temporary Mastercard validation issue stopped the final step
Despite that, Airtel Thanks app shows my subscription as “Active”
There was a “Recover Account” option, but it disappeared after the offer expired
⚠️ Current situation:
Airtel → shows Pro ACTIVE
Perplexity → no Pro access
Claim attempt → error
Activation link with code AIRTRQK3WMM**** → not working
🔍 Conclusion:
This looks like a sync/activation mismatch between Airtel & Perplexity, not something caused by me.
🙏 Request:

Has anyone else run into the issue where computer gets stuck in a loop on a task and consumes all your credits without completing the task? I asked it to update a website for me, it used a few thousand credits and didn't finish, so I topped up with 5000 more credits and asked it to finish the task and went to sleep, when I woke up I had another message saying I was out of credits and the task was still not finished, it looked like it was restarting the task from scratch over amd over until all the credits ran out. I emailed support and had about 8 emails with Sam who said it was a known and frustrating issue but wouldnt provide any bonus credits as compensation before I asked for human support. Waiting to hear back. Just be careful as you can't monitor credit usage during a task, only after its completed so you could burn through a lot of money with no usable output

It's difficult though as there is no estimate or tracker for how many credits a task will use either before or during execution, only after completion so in this case it used somewhere between 5000-10000 credits and still did not complete. I obviously would not have started if I thought it would be that much and who knows how much it would have been if I hadn't set up to stop when my credits were consumed. Just warning others. Waiting to hear back from support on this ticket as I don't think this is good service so would like some credits back as getting stuck in a loop is a known issue according to Sam. I still think computer is really useful though. I had it update some stuff on notion for me and found it a good use of credits and value for money

40 a month for Pro and 20x that for Max. It’s on a rolling window, so it’ll recharge 1 use every 18h till it reaches that cap again.

This is a bit more of speculation since I can’t confirm this myself, but based on how every other limit in Perplexity works, it deducts it right when browser use starts. Length doesn’t matter; it can do 200 steps, or 2 steps, and it’ll deduct 1 use.

Sorry, 40 a month is for Personal Pro. Enterprise Pro is 2x a month, and 20x is Enterprise Max. Not sure what personal Max has exactly. Could be 10x or the same 20x etc.
