I checked the log from the other broken savegame. Task-Default01 had a peak count of over 80.
My world has a peak of only 12.

Gotta see what Itcus' world does to the task-count but looks promising.

Absolutly.
Problem was, the world wasnt in slowmotion but sooooo laggy that he could not move away form the spawn altar. It would just rubberband him back all the time.
Me having more CPU power than him made it laggy for me but I could move at least. Stood around in his base for a while and the game went back to almost normal. No idea why or how.

What I have noticed is that if I have no health buffs or any other buffs active I take 41 damage per tick. As soon as I use a health buff EG:Grilled Crab Meat that gives +240 health, the damage goes up to 49 per tick. the only thing I changed was the amount of total health I had.

Hey. Do not know if this the right place to ask but i got stuck on "Ignite the snowy mountains" quest and not able to progress, the glider was taken by the quest. The only things that stands out is that my friend rushed to this location and unlocked the spire, is there a solution anyone knows of or could share the save with blast furnace for me to move forward (read on reddit that helps to progress normally once obtained)

Unfortunatly no. but I'll offer this suggestion. Look at your journal, and in the middle is a section for 'missed quests'. Select personal progression and see if you get the quest put into your journal.

Why are Wands such absolute buns

As far as i'm aware they only exist as a psuedo-cantrip style spell while waiting for ur mana to comeback for using ur staff again

I done a playthrough using a wand for 90% of my combat. You make of it what you will.

But then there's tons of skills for wands that are kinda wasted by the fact their single target and do about half the dmg of most melee weapons

I feel like wand will shine best when it's got a bunch of the wand passives stacked on it.

It's not irrelevant.
You can use it as a means while filling up mana, you can also make it a sole playstyle. Does it bash everything away in area of effect? No. Was it ever intended to be? Also no.
You can make everything work with some work in the creativity department, thus I got a way to make daggers work in aoe.
I encourage you just to experiment a little bit, even if it does not "work", you're free to make the experience yours with sliders in mob density, health, etc. yadda yadda.

There's this concept of change and effect. If all gems were A+ tier, then there would only be good gems and no bad ones. The bad ones have to exist (or here: the defensive variations) to make the others stand out. For example, I use the Burning Gem because it can be activated with firearm damage.

And if ur guard breaks the Ice shield drops.. maybe if they made it so when ur blocking or aiming it boosts ur defenses and ur block stat and instead of charging up for 3 secs it's immediate and lasts 3 secs it could have more functionality around it's core intentions.

Make it function similarly too how that parry dagger skill boosts ur guard for a breif sec to offset mistimed parries

Example being the bow one that shoots tracking kunai.

I cant think of any other gem worthy of putting on bows.

Dying costs almost nothing, respawn points are left and right overall at the map, max time I needed (If I died) to get back to my corpse is like 20/30s, health potions have this arbitrary drinking animation where I get most of the damage dealt back while I drink, thus I just prefer being dealing (even if not much) more DPS or even gain back Stamina cause it's just more beneficial.

Not an exact timeline at the moment, but it's always on the team's radar. Optimization is going to be our highest priority from now until launch, so basically whenever we deem it "worth it" to set aside the time to implement this tech, we will. But we also want to actually optimize the game itself, we don't want to use DLSS/FSR as the only crutch for improving performance.

We're also keeping an eye on what NVIDIA/AMD are doing, as well. Our biggest priority is to make sure the game is in a good state at 1.0 launch, and, with NVIDIA for example, they are planning to release a major DLSS version before that point. In a lot of ways, it would make much more sense for us to wait for that version to come out, rather than wasting our time implementing 4.5 first.

For me it depends

1. On sunny days I don't wanna work honestly, because I miss out on the sun.
2. The day swapping from rain>sun and sun>rain is always a headache.
3. Too much sun burns the last leftover brain cells

So... I mostly can stand it being sunny in autumn and spring, but rarely in summer and winter. The latter from time to time okay, but not too often.

Because there's a start that seems to be the an equivalent of The North Star around which the starsky rotates at immense speed by Earth standards, counter clock-wise, just like Earth, but Embervale's sun doesn't follow this pattern, because it doesn't rise from the East, but more like from North-North-North east.

I have to guess that axis of the planet lays on the orbits plane.

I mean, did you guys try to restore Blue Goblet Inn ever? Devs hid windows in the walls, that show up once you start the walls. And restoring ruines of Fort Kelvin, or Willow Crush, and you can tell where people had some city in mind and then made it into ruins, and where they just made a jumping passle looking like a city.

I think what most want from such a thing is mostly freecam/flying and no resources for stuff. Then to add to that things like expanded tools - For excavating large caves quicker - or Customizeable shapes (In block format of course) So if you make a window design, you can just copy paste rather than having to do each window block by block, for example.

Freecams are so rare in building games. Valheim had one with cheat codes. Space Rupture has in-lore, though.

Satisfactory has multiple ways of 'freecam' in game and then you had the 'creative' mode which was a permanent non lore version.
