Well, no. There is currently no auto sort but there are ways to make it slightly better less painful. First, sort your cheat into themes . Wood, stone, food etc

Then go to each chest and do shift r. This will put items into stacks that match it.

I have themed chests. That helps a lot. I have less then 10 chests (the biggest ones) in my house and one in every npc house. (except the farmer, she has 8 bc there are so many plants)
So for example i have a stone chest (every kind of stone goes in there) wood chest, shroud chest, overworld mob chest and so on. So i mostly just have to open like 6 chests in my house and the alchemists and smith chest.

Devs need to really work on their server roles specifically the banning. I literately just joined a game spawned into the Cinder Vault got ready to grab mouse and keyboard position then all of a sudden "your banned from this server you cannot rejoin". That or people need to stop being complete morons and making a lobby public if they wanted it as a private game. There should really be a "Ban > Selection List" and for the one that gets the ban to be able to dispute it.

It's a little different from an MMO where there's a set of main servers run by the devs. If you want devs to intervene between player disputes, the dev team would need to be like a thousand people just getting in the middle of personal issues.

The dragonling is definitely much more difficult than other bosses, but it's beatable with all 3 "main" class builds at around 150 skill points. Just can't really button mash or facetank it - need to learn the patterns. About 5-10 minutes to do it at default difficulty without exploits.

Yeah, playing solo or in a small group (2~4) of friends will work properly. Solo is a little bit harder to defeat some enemies, but you can explore more freely.
I f.e. have a solo savegame I'm playing while my friends are at work, and hosting the other one for us when they have time. No server needed so far.

Typically, 3D models are extracted from the game files themselves by some rather crafty experts. They are usually OBJ files and have to be converted to STLs. Your best bet is to check out Thingiverse or Cults3D for the files in the event someone has extracted them. If they are not there, they probably have not been extracted yet. It may take more time for that to happen. I suspect after 1.0, there will be more players that fit the bill and could pull off such a task. I can do SOME similar things but have never extracted a 3D model from a game.

Yeah, ironically I find LLMs a lot more useful for hyper-specific tasks, like brainstorming something you're working on, or getting information on something EXTREMELY obscure and then cross-referencing the information it gives you with a google search.

Like, I'm obsessed with animals, and I've had a few times where I found a random image of an animal online, had no idea what animal it was, so I asked chatGPT to identify it for me. That kind of thing is pretty hard to do with traditional search methods

See, while that's true, I hate that all AI companies are actively not marketing themselves that way. They're presenting themselves as a hyper-intelligent... well, artifical intelligence, that you can trust with your questions and stuff.

The reality is that it's actually a pretty dumb, unthinking algorithm, that is stuffed full of the collective human knowledge. But it doesn't actually understand any of that information, it's just regurgitating it to you, so you really can't trust it in any way.

But unless you're super tech literate and are following the tech closely, it's very easy to get tricked into believing it's something that it's not, in part because of how hard these companies are trying to brand themselves that way.

But if you don't know that, it really does look like it's actually "thinking" about the question you asked it. It's incredibly misleading, and makes people way more confident in the results than they should be.

I've also used google AI answers to see what it says about the effect of certain things. Like, in the lore of my TTRPG that I run, there's a character with an OP ocular ability that allows them to superimpose the pattern of a heat-haze onto their opponent to effect them on a molecular level, so I asked the AI what would the effect of that be? (You're basically screwed. Very OP, lol.)

LLMs are all, essentially, writing algorithms. They are fed ungodly amounts of text, and they exist to regurgitate text that mimics what they were fed.

So when it comes to purely creative concepts, like asking it to come up with fun lore for your TTRPG, it's pretty damn good at it, since it has been fed on so much creative material. So long as logic doesn't matter it will do a pretty good job.

But if you ask it to, for example, balance the stats in your TTRPG, it's going to fail miserably. It doesn't understand big picture concepts like balancing an entire game, it's just spewing out creative ideas one word at a time. That's why it's so common for it to completely contradict itself within just a paragraph or two of writing.

Googling around, apparently it's because consumer grade (DDR5) ram was less profitable to produce per wafer than datacenter grade (HBM3E) ram, and the demand for HBM3E ram was so high that the manufacturing companies were simply able to completely stop producing the consumer grade and focus entirely on the datacenter grade stuff.

So it's not that DDR5 is getting bought up, it's that the companies that make it have simply stopped making it in favor of a more profitable product

Things are currently set up because Keen are most confident that they work in that range, people have done a little cheat engine modding (Like extra altars, placing items that aren't officially craftable etc etc) And have had performance issues, things break in weird ways etc. I'm not sure i've heard of anyone actually extending LOD, but if you find someway of doing it, as J says, there's no guarantee it wont break something else 😄

The LOD would be lovely if it was greater, but yes it is a technical limitation and yes, they do know about it, and yes they will most likely improve upon it, but it's still not comparable to Skyrim outside of "Look its a game! Looks it's another game!"

And yes, you might be able to find a way to extend LOD outside of official channels, and you might have luck in making it work, and yes by the sounds of it, i don't think you'll get the amount of LOD that'd make you happy and still have a functional PC 😄

I'm not 100%, but chests take 30 mins to respawn, as long as you're out of the area, 560 meters away for that time. I think enemies might be slightly less time, But I'd give it 30 min's to be sure. as for your building question, there's no "upgrading" of walls, you can use different build blocks tho.

If you want a game that has a lot of content, with enough bugs to be amusing, be part of the development and have input on how the game progresses, then certainly buy it now, there is more than enough game and it's in more than a stable position to be well worth the purchase.

To be honest... in relation to other games, which have major bugs to make them unplayable, Enshrouded comes with very few bugs, runs very smooth and feels better than most of other games I played through the last couple of years.

There's plenty they still need to do to make it more stable and more (compensating for the untold combinations of hardware that people use and don't optimise despite complaining about games not being optimised. If you're playing melee, block early and block often. Take only what you need, but you can never have too much wood, resin, and string. Explore during the day, but try to forage at night.
