I found it at the top of the temple. I used my pickaxe to break the outer door and it was in a pile just to the left. Careful, the boss is right behind the door, so if it's a big and ugly you find, you're likely in the right place. I was able to mine a good 160 gold coins from that room.

Well that was a fun Hallowed halls. The first one. Infinatly spawning bats in the walls that the sound effects for went crazy. And the last room was broken so ||Normaly the doors open one by one and you do waves. But all the doors where already open I was getting spammed with the Door unlocked Notification and all the Mobs where waiting for me at the bridge. Considering i have increased enemy count in the settings that was a hilarious time to try and not die XD||

I hate myself. Last friday I fought with that stupid dragon on mountain. I had many tries and everytime I failed it. I lost my patience and I modified difficulty level. I took 500% HP and stamina to myself and I reduced damage for boss to 25%. Of course he killed my two time, but when he fall to the ground I bit him quickly.

#2 consider this practice and later you can do it on higher diffs

I just hate the fact that I'm aging and my reflexes aren't as keen anymore. I had to quit FPS and combat games because the reactions and combos and everything are becoming way too complicated and advanced for my poor aging nerves. So I have to play RPGs and even then it's not always easy so I take no qualms about cheezing the settings. I just dislike when games make achievements based off of difficulty playing. I'll never be able to max a difficulty setting and complete it to 100% an achievement list. At least not uless it's multiplayer and I'm runing around in absolute panic while my co player carries my lame self. lol

There is one other cheeze you could apply if you really can't.

There's a steam editor thing, that allows you to unlock an achievement with the press of a button.
But it's not fair, but if you really want it, and feel like you did your absolute best, it's a final option that exists

The roots respawn. You can go with him to clear those, or send him to do it himself lol. They show a checkmark on the map when they're done for you, so you can compare with his map to see which he hasn't done yet.

New to Enshrouded and absolutely loving it. My friends and I are all pretty new, we’re more into the exploration side of things than heavy base building.

I’m hosting the world, and I was thinking about using a saved/prebuilt base design. But I’m a bit worried, if I import or use someone else’s build, would it come with their Flame Altar level or exploration progress already done?

Just want to make sure we don’t skip any parts of the game unintentionally.
Can anyone shed some light on how that works?

The intent in the gameplay is that, once you get the final glider, you use high points like the Spires to glide long distances to get places. Honestly, I think that's kind of better because it allows more emergent gameplay where you're gliding to a location and you see something that looks cool and go, "Oh, let me drop down there and check that out."

After much thought, I realized something big about Enshrouded and its developers.

I was an early beta tester for a game called Landmark about 10 years ago.

It was from Daybreak Game Company, which used to be Sony's PC gaming division that made Star Wars Galaxies.

Landmark was a test bed for the voxel-based world they were making for Everquest Next.

Finding the perfect time of day, sun setting (or rising) weather is a bit gloomy, setting up shop in a quiet place with a school of fish, and casting a pole. The wresting of the fish that fights the trick of our trade and eventually capturing it. Taking it back to my base and grilling it for stats. Thats why I fish.

I tend to forget I have children running around my house when I fish in Enshrouded.

Fishing facts:

• Day or night does NOT matter
• Distance thrown does NOT matter
• Location fished does NOT matter (you can fish anything out of a puddle in springlands no different than veilwater)
• Poles increase the rng loot tiers and the fish levels (tested this last night with the ultimate ring of stamina, .primoris was side helping)
• Bait increases your "chance" to get said higher tier (depending on bait) but can also get higher or lower tier fish
• The Lucky pole gets more loot, but is less effective at catching fish

What matters is the bait you use

How fishing works is this: Fishing Rods increase the Strength and Endurance each has an additional chance to catch treasure. Fishing bait each "unlock" the ability to catch higher tier fish, so with common bait you'll never see uncommon or rare fish for example.

If you want treasure you use your best rod and common bait. Each biome has a different drop pool of items and rings.

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.

• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

when last played i didnt have cloud on

i added the new world i started to my local saves so i have the 4 worlds total i wanted

but now i want to move that character i started on cloud save to be on my local list as well

I recommend you don't mess with swapping between local and cloud saves, it has a bad habit of desyncing and losing progress.

But read the first part of that message by the bot it has the directory for both local and cloud saves

Open the cloud save directory, and make a copy of it. You might have to create another save file, load into it and then rename the copy of the cloud save to that save slots name

Grab the character save from the cloud directory. Open the game, create a new character and load into a world, either already know what slot it is or make note of whats created. Close the game.

Backup the character save from the cloud somewhere. Rename it the character save slot that was created. Open the game back up and you should be good to go.

respawns only happen every 30 minutes in game and also only when not in the vicinity. timer gets reset everytime you come close to the respawn area.

which isnt to say there cant be a bit of jank happening, its still an in development game which has to iron out all sorts of bugs. but thats the general idea

When you are in a region the region does not reset unless you leave the area or the game , the chest have been changed to not reset upon leaving the game to avoid farming this way

Now does that mean that the whole chunk does not reset as well when yoy leave ? Mayhaps I have not tried

It's per chunk not region. And its terrain, enemies, items you can loot along with chests.

Chunks are 256m squares, and you need to be at least 200m away from whatever it is you're looking to respawn for 30 mins

There are like 4-5 clams between Goldrock saddle and The Spire. They're near the town, a small cliff.

Is there a way to force a door to stay open a certain way? The door on the right is proper the way I want it to but because there is a wall dividing the 2 rooms I want to have the left door sort of open backwards to the right door that way both doors lay flat against the wall But every time I load back into the game the doors opened back outwards like this rather then inwards. Is there any way to force it to stay open inwards??

Does anyone know of a way to trigger the "Among the Bluejays" Quest if you previously had a Ghostglider in your Inventory? A friend can't trigger the quest to go north and the wiki mentions this quest as a prerequisite
