geez man, that's just plain wrong and hateful. The game maybe just isnt for you. To me its the best game out there (besides ex33) and i played enshrouded for about 1,5k hours now and do not regret a single hour of it.

Every class has it's pros and cons. Yes playing mage at start is a little more tricky, but therefore the mid/lategame is insane.

The game isn't perfect, there are quite alot of things that I personally think could be improved. But you have to keep in mind: this is early access!! It already got more than most full-release games out there to offer in total. I play the game since day 1 and the amount of work they put into this with all these updates is just mind blowing. Its literally the opposite of milking the money. Its so wrong it even offends me, as a player, who got nothing to win/lose out of this argument lol.

Pointless convo, honestly. I hate the idea of getting scammed by early access and waiting 10 years for something actually worth playing. At least this game is kinda cheap that’s the one thing that saves it. There’s not even an option to properly customize the world in the settings 🇫 but instead of giving us flexible world settings they nerf stamina regen and remove the only exploit that actually made the game playable nice.. And they add WATER.. like seriously I didn’t even notice there wasn’t any until they announced the update 🤣

I’ve played many many games since I was in diapers, and this game is by far one of the better ones in my opinion. It’s one of my favorites

I can say, I play the worst playstyle (daggers) with zero aoe effect and on max enemy density, while I may struggle at times or die, that's how I choose the game to be.
One can customize the difficulty up and lower to the wish he has, even turn off major mechanics like durability etc. if it annoys the person.
So... c'mon. The smol testing group already gives a tonload of feedback about stuff, trust me.

@slate anchor Iv'e "finnished" the game as far as I know. I've made sure to fimd every weaon skin/name, as well as lore. I've hit every single POI via wiki. I've also built a nice base out of DeepCut. After ALL of this, I"ve only spent 400hrs. 1000hrs seems a bit excessive, and JUST to get to the end? And, once you're at the end, you can respec to what you feel is right for the dragon. After such, respec again if you wish.

The twig-stuff was excessive, thus the feedback rolled in to dial it down.
But that's what it comes down to: Reasonable feedback given, will change things for the better.

As far as RNG, I'll agree. It's not the greatest. Even with the "logout/in" per chest... it STILL takes quite a while to get what you're wanting. I'm not complaining, just... Now the "logout/in" will not work, I hope the RNG get's increased. Otherwise, we will never be able to complete 'whatever'.

if there's anyone in #troubleshooting they can probably help you role back your save but you basically need to delete the most recent saves (there's 10 per world) and you can undo the damage)

Boars are half the reason I take the animal friendship skill. That said, weakening them with a bow or spell first is a good plan (preferably fire damage), and a bit of practice will let you parry them easier than some scavengers.

Don't need the part where they come to your aid, but there's only one node between animal friendship and Vukah Language, so...yeah, kinda nice to have safe passage through more areas. And all the stamina you pick up along the way is good for every build anyway, what with sprinting, climbing, and gliding all being things.

Won't stop you from attacking boars on your own terms, when you want to practice fighting them, of course.

Even if you have no points in Dex, get yourself a bow. Really handy for taking out the archers on platforms, and anything to weaken the melee types before they reach you.

Especially if you can just headshot the wolves. They really do hit pretty hard for their level.

Friendship won't work on Scavenger wolves, but at least wild ones won't sneak up behind you to get some backstab damage in.

If you bring enough ammo, you can mine your way into a nice sniping position on a nearby hill and plink away most of the hostiles, even.

If you're not geared/practiced enough to fight "fair," tip the scales in your favor! You know those mining bombs? They're also good at destroying bridges, like the ones archers tend to stand on. NPCs even take fall damage, so this can have hilarious results.

"Practice until you git gud" is always part of advice, but there are steps along the way to reach that point. Only way to practice parrying attacks is to leave 1 enemy alive and just learn their animations, but ya gotta kill everything else first to do that!

Oh, yeah, some of those salt mines have some bad choke points. Easy way to practice parrying, though.
Create a new world on custom difficulty, with 400% player health and stamina, 25% enemy damage, and durability off. You can practice all you need, and bandages are always good because they're %HP healing.
Which skill tree are you putting most of your points into, btw?

Ah, healer doesn't do much for you in single player, but great with a group. If you're putting points into Int and Spirit, there's a magic skill that gives you a fire damage aura to all Fell enemies. It pretty much passively cooks critters, and even damages the humanoid ones while they're blocking.

And with points in Int and Spirit, it's worth grabbing a staff instead of a bow, and running off for that Eternal Spell quest ASAP. Infinite ammo is kinda nice, ya know?

Yeah, those are gonna involve quests to get the tools needed, plus just finding the materials. Some of that you can shortcut by mining your way into later biomes, but some actually do need shroud protection levels so you can get the tools.

Only thing between you and the mountains is how much patience you have for digging your way up cliffs!

Do love how many options there are for pure decoration, especially ones that survivors actually interact with.

Remember, this game hits your graphics card/vram the most. You should worry more about that than regular ram. Obvious, ram is good, but graphics card is key.

I've got decent GPU, but 'only' 8gb VRAM, it's kinda tight, so that makes me worry at times with resource-heavy stuff

It's the people with 10/20 series cards that have to worry. 40 series is recent enough, should be good. Unless something goes horribly wrong O.O

I'm on a 4060 rtx runs good.

4060 shouldn't be too bad. I can't remember how it compares to 3080 ti but shouldn't be too bad.

Just remember water may require lower settings a little, but no way to know for sure til a release happens

My 3080 runs like butter on the live build, especially since the lighting overhaul. We'll see how it handles H20
