Water will be in the current last biome, but not the last biome. Also, water will be added to earlier biomes as well, which means you will have it available earlier than the dedicated zone.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the altar has a big invisible wall for it so the water can’t just flow in. And then maybe some decorative water to add inside your base

Like with other terrain changes, if a new stream flows through an area where you have altar protection, the terrain leading up to and from the altar will be changed, but the terrain in your base will not. This could cause some funky behavior and appearances, but unlikely to flood your base out.

Simply put, the new water channel will end at your altar perimeter and the water won't have anywhere to flow.

Living in a place which is going through a flash drought and unreasonably hot for sep/october I'm physically and mentally feeling the longing for this update. Keen doesn't run any servers. Your dedicated server is entirely contained within whatever instance you're running that server in. We are still uncertain why the server overload message happens even in servers with a low amount of users.

The only thing that is likely to be a real answer in regards to which day, is not Friday. Most companies will not release on the last work day of the week because if a bug comes up during the first day, it will be three days at least before it's fixed. I cant recall from the top of my head if join messages show Steam ID, if they do, I could probably use Splunk or some other log tool to match "griefers" with "main characters" and know if anyone is being a "douche"

I mean, this in only a problem in the first few days of a server, while wr're trying to get farm animals, crops, etc

so... today I spent 8 hours setting up a new computer for my folks. Something that should have taken a couple hours max... but the system had Windows 11 home edition instead of pro... and... I am just gonna say home edition is the devil.

I had to look up how to make... a freaking shortcut. A SHORTCUT... because it had none of the options and everything was hidden and.or removed. I couldn't even find the executable for outlook...

I spent an hour trying to figure out how to let them log in without using their pin or password.
