and then go through it all. and simply put all the clutter and deco pieces slightly off grid. a carpet gets a slight nudge. a flowerpot gets sank a tiny bit low so it comes across as smaller as the next one.

some books nudged back or around in on the shelf etc. nothing major. only slight nudges to everything. changes the whole vibe in an instant

I really want to see oval/circular/spherical shapes in building components soon enough. I am tired watching people trying to achieve these shapes by creating terrible edges - and it gives the awful minecraft vibe. Not only this, but also to be able to resize components at will, as well as being able to re-arrange/change/re-shape objects and building components without having to remove them from their current placement.
Are there any news around these features? I couldn't find a substantially discussed posts about them.

Of all the things I suspect might happen, rotating building blocks is not on that list 😝 They'd have to rewrite the whole game world system to make it work. THAT SAID, there are other ways to solve the problem. For example imagine a tool kind of like the decay tool, that you could use on blocks that would "round" them based on the pattern they were placed in.

They could set that up so it doesn't do anything to straight walls or corners, but corners missing a block could become diagonals, certain patterns could become curves, etc. That would enable advanced builders to create super interesting and complex structures while keeping the core system very simple for when you're getting started with the game.

And that way you could have tight control over where you wanted your curves to happen, so you could blend curves and straight lines within the same build

Sure but that's not technically any harder than "filling up empty space", it's just visually different.

Even making this tool would definitely be a ton of work, don't get me wrong. They'd have to model/texture each type of block interaction they made

BUT that's a whole lot easier than rewriting how the world grid works

And could even be done in pieces, where they support just a couple "blends" to start and expand it over time.

@inner shale for food on mage, id say you want intellect. only 2 foodslots give you intellect. mushroom food (best yellow glow soup) and meatwrap for meat.
for pure healing (with healing channel spells) you need some more mana, so then spirit food would be best. you can take mushroom food and herbs (gentian being best)

Ehh it depends on the town. Most of the mid size/larger towns need a lvl 4 altar . A few of them need two of them… sometimes even 3 lol

You could look up a couple good town rebuilds on YouTube. Theres some for Fort Kelvin, Glennwoods End, and Surats Rest… probably more for others but those are some popular rebuilds areas. And Glennwoods end takes like two altars (from my experience rebuilding it) and in the video of Surats Rest restoration, the builder used 3 altars I believe

The other thing I would love to see is a revamp of the survival aspect. I continuously was alerted to my low food level by death. The alerts aren't scaled to the severity. HUNGER that will kill you should make you as a player KNOW you're hungry. Maybe a red border for food that fades in like frost does now, and a blue one for water. I turned it off cause it was too hard to know.

i recently tried the stamina tree and that extra 30% regen with sweets does make a huge difference when you dont have your rested bonus.

Hey, i have found a cabin in the Albaneve Summits its located between the Hollow Halls and the Elixir Well (close to Polaris Falls). I placed an altar but there are spider eggs that respawn every time i reload. Is this something known ?

it is pretty well optimized for what its worth. but different setups have different issues. thats just the nature of an early access and a experimental inhouse build engine.
either way. best to jump right into #troubleshooting if theres any issues ure havin performance wise or on a different technical level. up here most stuff is 1. mostly speculative and 2. spammed away reeeaal fast.
