There's just been a conversation about this in #enshrouded-chat . Shroud fatigue and fell curse are different things. Shroud fatigue comes from using shroud spells like shroud meteor shower and should only last 2 hours. Fell curse comes from shroud enemies and needs the cleansing tonic to remove it

I do find the shroud less hard on the eyes post-update. The lighting tweaks made night time play in general way more bearable. I believe there may be settings you can adjust now too?

Possibly Strength should be represented in the skill tree as increasing Sword, Axe and Mace damage.

i combo sword and shield with the daggers and a bow, works really well if you dont have a small health bar and using the extra points outside dex to put into strength. very mobile.

occasionally whip out the 2 hand for a double jump attack for that extra damage if they start swarming me.

I also had the same problem where my entire inventory and chest contents were deleted.

What I did was
I deactivated Steam Cloud.
I launched the game with Steam Cloud disabled and no characters appeared, so I started a new game with a new character.

Then I closed the game and reactivated Steam Cloud.

I reopened the game with Steam Cloud enabled, and then my old character (the one with the progress) appeared. I logged in with that character and everything I had appeared.

I hope it works for you as it did for me.

I do have an old world that was really advanced. Ever since I haven´t played on it, but I got so much beautiful architecture on it, that I dont wanna having to start over with building new stuff. But I do want to start a new character, but want to play all the missions and all the start from the very start. When im in that old world, I have still all the Watchtowers & all the locations marked on my map. Is there a way to remove this?

As well as world progression regarding the quests?

These items have set upgrade levels every time, and the amount of upgrade levels is tied to rarity.

Hey, I have a few questions about the Night Sanctums. First of all, I noticed the Elder's Night Sanctum got ticked after I finished it. Will the others also get ticked when I loot the main chest? And second of all, does anyone know how many Night Sanctums exist overall? I found 18 so far.

I think it gets ticked because there's a quest for it. i've gone through a few of the others and none got a tick. I think I'm also at 18 found too.

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.

• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

It's fine to play solo, will just take you longer to get things done. There's tons to do, have 4 playing on my server and we're still just working into the second to last biome, from restarting on Tuesday. No base raids at this point in time, but it's a highly requested feature.

theres a lot of graphical data to the game, and i believe compiling shaders gets them all optimized and set up for your system and graphics card so once its done, it loads as fast as is can. It should only take a really long time the first time you play after a patch, then its really fast each time you load after that, as long as it fully completes

might have to flash it like you do when you set up a new PC, i had to do this a year ago due to every game crashing 20 min into them.

if you have a newer intel CPU also, its probably fried. Intel released a micro update around Christmas and fried all 7th gen CPUs without telling anyone.

how you can figure this out is download intel extreme tuning utility and back your ratios off by x2 and see if games run smoother or keep crashing.

It should be, i just built a new pc a few months ago. New motherboard and an intel i9 processor. All my other games play perfectly fine, even my higher tier graphics games. Its just been enshrouded that does it. Once i restart my pc its fine till i run enshrouded again and then it does it all over again
