Just out pure curiosity, not meant as negative comment on your experiences and expectations:
What did you expect after seeing the trailers? For me THE number one reason to buy Enshrouded is exactly the building system and having a quest system in a building world. I feel it's so much more than Valheim, for example. For me Valheim is mostly building and then a little bit of questing. And yes, there are beasties to fight, but....
Enshrouded feels like so much more to me. With us now being able to set our own difficulty is also great.

Again, don't get me wrong, I love the game and its potential. But it's more than just trailers. Fighting against enemies is chief in the story as you go, as well as the first image you ever see of the game. I am not saying the cozy stuff is worthless except to say it is cozy. That said, I'm simply pulling for a little more attention to the more exciting (to people like me) aspects of the game.

I love the boss fights and am inspired by the skill/weapon systems of the game and how much potential there is for very diverse combat scenarios. The dungeons were a great first step in bringing my ilk more replayability.

I don't think they expected the building part of the game to be as well received as it was, and as such, many of the player suggestions have been about building and things surrounding it. But they haven't abandoned combat, and have also added suggestion in by players regarding combat and a lot of other things, like the aforementioned dungeons. They have also been balancing classes and working on trying to fix some of the bigger issues people have had with the game, such as accessibility options, more server options, difficulty options and a whole slew of things.

They just generally don't get as much hype as things like villagers, building options, game chat and the like by the community.

For much of the same reason the devs have made an excellent building game, I have been drawn to the game for its swords and sorcery. They can do it. I believe in them. I'm just afraid that it's no longer a priority and hoping that the road map gets some traction in that regard.

They add new mobs and combat stuff in almost every (other) update. So far they have been doing a large update (with zones, monsters, dungeons, quests etc) and then a smaller QOL update, then back to another large one.

A nomad Highlands biome with actually more lava as a obsctacle would be funny. 😅

Try tuning down shadow, fog and reflection settings, they seem to cause issues on ultra-wide resolutions. Just one step down in settings wont take much from the graphics quality, changes are almost not noticeable, but you will get your frames up by large margin.
Also, stop being toxic. Having a 3kTi does not give you a right to go around spitting poison on devs if you dont even know how to optimize your setup while the game is in early release. Technically we are on beta. Just report your bugs/suggestions instead of whining.

But I would back up your saves to be sure.

Blacksmith got some good stuff to help.
Upgrading weapons also might be of use. U can talk for that with the Blacksmith and choose a category in the upper tabs.
If you only wear clothes and have a stick at hand you might be dead for sure.
Oh and don't forget to put 1-2 ooints early in constitution

Funny thing... logged in this morning and my chickens and rabbits, keep breeding like... well, like rabbits. I have 3 times as many animals as I do beds... I am wondering, does the game not see babies as filling a bed, so they keep making new babies because the beds are "empty"? Either way, I'm drowning in bunnies and chicks.
