Yeah, so any server in the game is being hosted by an individual, not through Keen. There are no official servers. Maybe this was misposted but if not you're directing your energy in the wrong place

not that ive ever seen, theres moderately flat areas. but short of destroying prefab castles in mountain biome its always bumpy which is the nature of the map gens. but its irritating knowing i gotta level 10k times to get a flat area and dig out a basement with support for the upper floors in mind.

terrain and terraforming tools always seem to be an afterthought/underdeveloped.

my dream would be to have a nice mountain top chateau with a decent basement that goes down into the mountain and has small exposed segments and balconys. but near a good view point like above the 2 big frozen lakes with waterfalls.

The skill tree isn't so large that a search function is really needed. Mostly you can pretty easily find what you're looking for once you start to get a little familiar with it. And no, just set the enemy density back to normal and restart your world, you'll be fine

After realising Melee was going to be a real pain in the ass because of not being able to do proper damage in the stun duration, i respecced ranger, used a pre update bow and didn't even change my gear... poked him full of arrows until he fell over.

It's just 3 pitfalls the dragon fell into:

1. Boss has broken the difficulty curve way upwards, we don't want the boss to be as easy as the wispwyvern - but even at least a little bit the scales. For example, make the Wispwyvern a bit harder or the dragon easier. Actually it feels that hard to a point where not even reducing the damage he deals does anything really. (And that feels awkward at times)
2. The boss has bugs. Those bugs are easily seen as the updraft etc. which I hope gets fixed... Also, I don't feel the rule of cool shouldn't be to go fly "right into the boss" to dodge stuff. He could easily just bodycheck us into the Shroud if he wanted to. Feels off in an otherwise immersive fight.
3. Adds + Abilitys you need to deal with at the same time (and not just adds that are pushovers) feel like that green fire quest back then in WoW, the fight vs. Kanrethad.

There is a mission for them.

They're "infinite" in so much as you don't need to craft them, but they rely on MP so when you run out of MP you "run out of arrows" until it regenerates.

So as a ranger, it's great to help your arrow economy, but shouldn't rely on them solely.

One of them is just east of the Springlands Ancient Spire, just next to Small flint mine. I have no idea what I'm looking for. The location marker points to below and when I get below it says the location is above 🤷‍♀️

How can I solve this?

If it's just a question mark, it's probably a shroud root. Finding and clearing the ancient spire in an area marks the elixer wells and obelisk(s) on your map, and finding and reading the obelisk(s) marks all of the shroud roots

Shroud roots are always shown as a ? until you chop it down

The tavern is a bit more loose with the topics while enshrouded chat is meant to be more focused on discussing the game itself

Think of the tavern as a place to say "hello world" and talk about whatever while loosely tied to the game, where enshrouded chat is where to go to ask questions or have a conversation about the game without off-topic nonsense. Meanwhile the actual off-topic channel is when you're having an extended off-topic conversation and don't want to flood either channel with it

Though in all 3 cases it's pretty loosely enforced unless it's becoming an actual distraction, like if people are asking questions in enshrouded chat and two people are having an extended conversation about pickles, those people might be asked to move channels

Most people are aware enough to move when it's time to move without being asked though

Though, sometimes you need a reminder (or to be specific, sometimes I need a reminder xD)

I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a starter project. Maybe after a couple smaller renovations. It's a pretty big chunk to bite off unless you're with a group of 3-4 people

Though if you don't mind leveling a few things, Peaceful Acres and the town next to it I can never remember the name of make for a nice bit of real estate

I use Peaceful Acres myself, it's a good spot for getting built up and established. Like I say, Nomad Highlands, especially on top of the plateaus has a lot of flat area. Kindlewastes has a few. The rest of the areas not so much. There's a mountaintop above the hidden hunters camp in Revelwood that isn't bad
